SSD: Consistent M.2 NVME 512GB HDD: 1x Seagate Barracuda 2TB, Seagate Barracuda 80GB. Graphics Card: Zotac Nvidia GTX 1650. PSU: Corsair RM750e. Hi guys, Like the title says, I was using PS/2 keyboard until now recently brought Ant eSports KM1600 usb keyboard & Mouse combo every time I start my PC I have to unplug and replug my keyboard, and it then works fine. Though it didn't occur after a "Windows Restart" but only after disconnecting my PC from AC power source. I have tried in BIOS 1) Turning on & off usb 2.0 legacy, usb 3.0 legacy, EHCI hand-off 2) fast boot on & off with usb option on "Full initialisation" 3) gone through safe boot option there's nothing related to usb. I have tried in windows 1) Device Manager 2) Event Viewer Also tried changing to all usb port on motherboard & cabinet. In simple word my usb keyboard not getting power unless unplug & replug.

I bought all this parts about a week ago, and me and my friend get everything booted and it launches just fine all the fans are working, and everything. We load up the BIOS and check everything, and the CPU is running a little warm 70c roughly in BIOS. So then today I booted it up and installed Windows 10 Pro OS on it. Everything was good for the most part. Then I was trying to find out why my resolution was 1024x768 so I go to change it only to see its greyed out. Then I go to check for the GPU in the device manger and find that its not even there, its named something different. What makes me even more confused is that the Display port on the left most side is the only one that works, and it doesn't allow you to use any of the others. So I was going to take out the GPU to check if everything was installed correctly, and find that the GPU is hot to the touch. Currently I'm distressed on the recliner. Please HELP! I just got a server and went to boot up but the bios is no longer detecting the two SSD's I have in there it was working a day or 2 ago but now its not detecting the SSD's. I did some research and thought it was the raid controller but it was working a day or two ago I wouldn't think it would die out like that.

Hi, I have 4 drives, one m.2 with windows 10, two HDD and one sata SSD. 3 days ago a power shortage happend. I lost like 3TB of data spread on my 2x1TB HDD and 1TB SATA SSD. I recovered 1.2TB of data. And for the past two days my PC worked fine. But now, I turned it on and windows could detect only only that m.2 drive. Once again i lost all of my data on the other drives. Do you have some ideas what is the issue here? Working on a customer PC and the Iron Wolf Pro 4TB drive he purchased isn't being detected. I've tried new SATA data and power cables. I tried every SATA port on the ASUS ROG Strix B450-F gaming board. Is there a setting in the BIOS that needs to be changed if you're using NAS drives? I need help! Thanks in advance!

Hi. I got a MSI GTX 1050 Ti 4GT OC a few months ago. It works fine. Never had a problem with it at all! My Problem: I don't know since when its happening, but MSI Afterburner doesn't detect my graphics card and the graphics card driver version. See screenshot. It doesn't even let me use the slider (I'm not interested in overclocking tho). I think it might be happening after I installed Rockstar games social club for GTA 5. I installed it last week and I discovered that MSI afterburner is not detecting my graphics card on that day. And when MSI afterburner is running, social club crashes at startup. I'm 99% sure that it's not a hardware problem since every game runs just like before and similar software like GIGABYTE OC Guruji detects my GPU just fine, it even lets me control fan speed and core/memory clock without a problem. So it must be MSI afterburner? What I tried: I tried uninstalling graphics driver with DDU and reinstaling the latest one. Installing older 382.16 version. Reinstalling MSI afterburner, installing it's latest beta version. Doing a Windows Update. NOTHING WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!! Any help?

Hi Everyone I am currently trying to get my turtle beach ear force px24 to work on my pc so I can use its inbuilt mic (this was one of the major selling features of this particular headset that's its compatible with xbox one, ps4 and pc). However it only has one jack for input and output, my case- Phantex enthoo evolve- has 2 separate input jacks for a mic and headphones. Therefore (I naively assumed) a simple 2 to 1 jack cable would be the fix for this problem as it would allow me to simply plug and play like on my Xbox...Obviously nothing is ever that simple and while I can plug it in and have it be identified as a mic or headphone separately my pc cant identify it as both at the same time (the headset has an inbuilt control switch which is switched to pc). I would rather not have to purchase another headset just for my pc, I thought it may be a defective cable so I have purchased 2 separate cables of this kind and to no avail. Has anyone got any ideas? My motherboard is the MSI 970 Gaming. Thanks in advance

Hi all, Relevant specs: MOBO: Aorus B450 Elite GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6G RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 3200Mhz 2x8. As per description Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0 is not detecting my gigabyte gpu, It is detecting mobo and corsair ram fine though! It seems many users do have this problem and no one found a fix yet. I tried numerous suggestions like: removing drivers with DDU, installing egb fusion, gigabyte app manager and xtremem engine in some specific order. As it seems though I might have just found an important clue. I have noticed that the installer sometimes prompts me to install Visual Studio 2015 and it fails. I have installed it manually but that did not help. I have started playing with all redist installations 2012, 2013, 2015 and later ones aswell, and I have noticed that when unistalling one of those, my ram will not be detected yet my mobo is still detected fine. That suggests that parts of software were coded using different Visual studio libraries from different "ages" and mashed toegether. So I really hope that some awkward variation of different Visual studio packages will work eventually! If someone has any idea how to make it run, please let me know!

Heyo, my HD suddenly stopped detecting since last night and I can't figure out why. Connections looked good, it shows up in disk management but is not allocated and gives me an I/O error. After a quick shut down and reseating the connections, it shows back up again no problem. It randomly just stops detecting when I'm in the middle of doing something. Has anyone else had this issue before?

This is my first pc build, everything has gone fine apart from my system doesn’t seem to detect the GPU (Palit GEFORCE GTX 970 Jetstream). even when downloading the drivers the NVIDIA software doesn’t detect the GPU? I have seated it into the pcie slot fine and have powered it with 2x 6 pin pcie from a CORSAIR VS550, the fans spin. I have a ACER H81 1150 socket motherboard CPU: Intel i5 4460 GPU: Palit GEFORCE GTX 970 4GB Jetstream PSU: COSAIR VS550 Also when I go into my bios it the primary video option is greyed out (locked), Also other options too. any suggestions are appreciated!

I have been having some trouble with my PC recently so I was going to update the BIOS to see if that would help (I’m on a Aorus X470 gaming ultra). I believe I am currently on BIOS F6 and I was trying to start the process of getting to the latest BIOS. Before you install BIOS F40 you’re supposed to install EC FW Update Tool (B19.0517.1 or later version) so that’s what I did. After I ran the application, it restarted my PC and afterwards it said “reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key”. When I go into the BIOS, it doesn’t detect my SSD, only my hard drive, and I have windows installed on my SSD. What should my next course of action be?

Hi all! Okay, I'm pretty good with Mac's, especially on the software side, but this one has me completely stumped. I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch late 2012 model laptop running Mac OSX High Sierra, and while on a car ride one day it froze, and I was forced to hard restart it. However when I tried to turn it back on, I got the infamous flashing file of death. "Alright..." I thought "The SATA cable has slipped out of the hard drive again, no biggy right?" Well this has happened to me on a few occasions before, and each time it has been solved by taking the hard drive out, cleaning the SATA contacts, and then it has worked fine again. But when I did the same thing on this occasion it had no effect. The hard drive is still spinning and working because my other Mac can access the data fine using an external caddy, but I thought maybe it was just an issue with the drives boot capabilities, so I ordered a new SSD to go in it, as I had been meaning to do for a while now, however still, it could not detect my drive when I entered setup using a High Sierra USB boot disk that I made. It could detect USB just fine, but no SATA! Does anyone have any ideas? Because there are only 2 more things that I can think of that it might be. The first is that the proprietary SATA cable is faulty, which is a simple £15 - £20 fix... OR... The SATA controller on my motherboard has gone bad... Like I said, I usually know what I'm doing, and inbetween this story I have tried many things to try and get this to work, but to no avail! Please help, I can't afford a new computer ?

I have two monitors, one using HDMI and the other using DVI. I cannot get the computer to display anything on the DVI monitor which will stay in standby mode after displaying the windows logo upon start up. I have an R9 380 with the 16.1 crimson edition drivers and have just upgraded to windows 10. This monitor set up worked fine on windows 7 with an old Radeon 6850. What can I do to fix this issue? This is what the windows display settings says when I try to use the other monitor: I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. I have a Powercolor R9 380 4GB. I have the latest 16.1 crimson edition drivers. I have checked for updates in Windows update, there are no new updates. Trying DVI monitor by itself using the DVI-I port the monitor will display the motherboards "asus" splashscreen and then will go into standby mode with a message claiming "No signal - Digital". The DVI monitor plugged into a DVI-D port would display until the windows logo and loading circle appears on bootup and then it goes into standby with the same message. Plugging into the mobo DVI port results into the same situation as the DVI-I port on the GPU. The same things happen if I have the HDMI display plugged in. UPDATE: FIXED! The main 1080p monitor needed a HDMI cable and the older 4:3 monitor needed a VGA cable with a DVI adaptor to connect it to the Video card. Thanks.

I have an Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 motherboard and I recently added two Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition fans to my Hyper 212 Evo in push/pull. Whereas my temperatures are completely fine, and the fans spin, my UEFI my motherboard does not detect the fans. I have them plugged directly into the CPU1 and OPT headers above my CPU mount. Has anybody else had this problem and know how to fix it so I can adjust the fan settings through my UEFI? I've wondered that they are PWM fans and maybe my motherboard does not support PWM? Or is it just a Corsair thing? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you,

Issue | Getting a Samsung 850 Evo 1tb to register in the BIOS/Windows on a RIVE mobo with latest BIOS. So I should have asked this a long time ago honestly cause I have just had this drive sitting in my case not doing anything, figured an upgrade would help out later on. But with the upgrade to Windows 10, I figured I would help a friend out and give him one of my 120gb SSDs and just try the 1tb SSD again. I guess it wasn't meant to be, after plugging it in again it showed one time in the BIOS and I thought it would stick. But ever since then, it won't show up in any shape or form. I've tried changing BIOS changes to SATA devices, resetting power and SATA cables, changing ports for the drive, etc and it just will not register in the BIOS or the OS itself. I've already had to RMA this drive once to Newegg cause I thought it was faulty, I never thought to RMA it again so much later after the problems didn't change before. I've also had to RMA this mobo 3 times, I gave up trying to get a completely working RIVE after the last time (Mainly USB issues and false RAM BSODs). The system would hang (when it was actually detected), I would get random BSODs in Win 8.1, and on random resets it would stop showing up in the BIOS once again. So I decided to just unplug it and leave it be like I said before not thinking anything of it until I did the upgrade so I could give my Vertex 3 120gb drive to one of my friends. I've been working with computers for around 15 years and have never come across something like this, I'm at a complete loss for how to go about fixing this. Any suggestions from people who might of had the same problem, or know what might be going on? Hi, I recently have built my first PC! I was very happy until i noticed my GPU wasn't in the Device Manager... Its fans are running and the LED is powered up. I tried a lot of things but then fixed by placing it again for the 4th time but this time giving more pressure and hearing a hard click. It worked and i downloaded my drivers but couldn't get the HDMI output work (the one from the GPU). I uninstalled and then reinstalled The Intel HD Graphics 4600 drivers seeing some people had said this might fix it. It became worse because the GPU isn't in the Device manager anymore... I again took it off and installed it again a few times with the extra pressure(again) but Windows just can't find it, what's going on and how can i fix this? build: PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/M7dDXL CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor Motherboard: ASRock B85 Pro4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard Memory: Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Storage: A-Data Premier Pro SP900 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 290 4GB Double Dissipation Video Card Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Cooler Master 650W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply )

I've been struggling for a while without thinking to come on this forum to ask but here is my problem: HDD: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=65701&vpn=ST1000DM003&manufacture=Seagate OS SSD: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=77218&vpn=MZ-7PD128BW&manufacture=Samsung%20Memory%20%26%20Storage&promoid=1342 Motherboard: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=82383 My HDD wont detect as installed when I look on "Computer" in Windows. It's detected in the boot device manager and the bios but not by Windows. This is really unfortunate because it's past the return date and I can't use it while my SSD is nearly full and I can't even download my full Steam library onto my new rig. I have it plugged into the Z77 SATA 3 port, same as my SSD, and it doesn't acknowledge it as there. Also the support from Seagate is less than bad. HELP!

So today, my computer wasn't running games very well, so i went to check & update the driver, for I have had troubles with this in the past. I used the geforce experience to upgrade my drivers, as it was the most convenient. about halfway though the install, a popup to upgrade geforce experience to v6.1 (i think) popped up, and my only option was to install it, so i accepted. This cancelled my driver install, which I think is the source of my problems. Now, geforce experience does not work, everything I,do to detect my gpu is worthless (I have tried msi afterburner and the nvidia driver website), and i can't play many games because i"m limited to the integrated graphics of my laptop. I'm fairly certain that this isn't a problem with optimus like most other laptop gpu problems, but in the software itself, for nothing i do even detects the gpu, where i can normally do that even when optimus is messing things up. Specs incase they are needed: Alienware m14x r1 (I don't need the hate) GT 555m intel i7 2630QM 6gb RAM If anyone has any suggestions on what to do or has seen any problems similar to this one, please tell me about it. If any other information is needed I'll be happy to give it.
