Changed my motherboard 4 days ago. I have 13900KF, Gigabyte Z790 Elite AX Wifi7 1.0, 4 x 16GB DDR5 @4800MHz and Gigabyte RTX 4090 Master. Whenever i play MW3 or just casually using my pc, my monitor suddenly turns black and says "no signal". I can still hear the sounds in game, i can still hear my friends on discord. But after 2 minutes or so, i hear a windows notification. Not knowing what to do, i force shut down my pc and turn it back on. Happened to me like 8 times yesterday. Tried switching DP ports, updated Nvidia Drivers to the latest. Help please.

I ended up getting a rx580 and threw it in my PC and turned it on and everything worked fine and was even able to install drivers. I used it for about 20 minutes then turned my PC off. The next day I got no signal so I plugged into the integrated graphics on the motherboard and went into device manager and the graphics card wasn't showing up so I went into bios. Bios couldn't detect a graphics card either so I turned it off and reseated my old graphics card which is a GTX 960 and then turn my PC on plugged into the graphics card. Again everything worked fine so I uninstalled all old drivers, reseated the rx 580, turned my PC on, and for some reason everything worked just fine and was, again, able to reinstall the drivers and everything worked. I opened steam and let it download a game which was far cry 6 and after a while I came back and the screen went to sleep. I tapped the space bar a couple of times and the screen immediately came back on like normal and everything still worked fine. Once the download was finished I turned my PC off and came back the next day and then turned my PC on again and got no signal at all. Used the mobo graphics again and same thing, device manager nor bios is detecting a graphics card. Idk if it's because I'm using motherboard graphics that it won't detect it but I don't get any signal from the GPU unless I reseat it and install drivers and it only works the one time. But once I turn it off and back on I get no signal. I've ended up deciding to declare the card dead or "going bad" but I was wondering what you guys make of the situation? Can anyone think of why it only works the one time then goes back to no signal once the PC has been turned off?

Recantly i have bought new components from Amazon. I bought ryzen 7 5800x asrock 750w 80 plus gold and rtx 4070 oc. My specs before upgrade is 3060 oc, ryzen 5 2600x and 550w 80plus. Im not new to pc building. Had no problem at first. After a day or 2 tbh i lost track of time. What happened is that i turned on pc and had no displays on both monitors and no lights on keyboard and mouse. Pc seems to be turned on but nothing. Tried to reseat hdmi and display port but nothing. Only after pc rest by pressing the button everything turns on normally. What is weird pc runs great besides hight temps on cpu while gaming cos of bad airflow (nzxth510). Tested long gaming session on cyberpunk max graphics with raytracing and pathtracing all stable. I am bit lost what to do. One thing i have to do is install newest drivers mby that helps. What is weird is that this problem doesn't happen everytime i turn it on. Sometimes it happens and i reset pc and it turns on normally and sometimes it just turns on no problem. Hope that is just mby loose connection or driver. Hope i explained my situation well enough. Thank you

Hello, I am Adam, and I am a PC Builder beginner. I Have just built a Gaming PC, but the monitor says no signal when I boot up. Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 AsRock B550M-HDV Micro ATX Motherboard 16 GB Ram (2x8 GB sticks) ASUS Phoenix 1050ti EVGA W3 Series 450W 80 plus AMD CPU Cooler that came with the CPU 512 GB SSD (6gb/s) I have seen many videos on what to do, and here are some things I tried -Remove GPU, then reinstall -reconnect all power cords -change video cable -clean the ram sticks -read motherboard manual carefully -plugged in 4 pin CPU power -attached all power connecters -tried booting up with one ram stick I have been stuck on this problem for a long time, and I need help. I hope you see this post a couple of hours or 1-3 days after posting this. Thank you for visiting the post.

The title pretty much sums it up. If I turn my PC off right now and turn it back on right after I have no issues, same goes for sleeping. But if I turn it off for a few hours and then turn it back on the monitor just says "No signal". To fix this I have to unplug the power from the socket (turning off the PSU doesn't do it, I've tried) and then replug it, which f*cking sucks! I've gone through all the settings in my monitor but didn't find anything that helped. I also tried changing some power settings on Windows(10) to no avail. The monitor is connected to my GPU not the motherboard if that matters. Here's some specs I think might be relevant Monitor: Acer VG270U PBMIIPX GPU: Asus Strix 970 Motherboard: Gigabyte x570 aorus elite PSU: Corsair RM850x Edit: I'm using Display Port, haven't tried HDMI

This problem accured just about 3 days ago. And it came out of nowhere my rams have been working for 1 or more years now. Then suddently i stopped getting display output. here are a few things i've tried so far: 1.Unpluging the psu and holding the powerbutton 2.Rearranging the ram sticks 3. Waiting for a miracle to happen and for it to just boot. 4. pulling out 1 of the 2 rams Currently my pc boots cause of option 4. Any ideas what maybe causeing this problem. Problem: Went to turn on PC. All fans, and lights are on. No signal to monitor.(Checked cable with console, cable does works) MB is throwing a CPU debug light. Background: Built PC 4 month ago. Had no hiccups with flashing BIOS and updating drivers, since I built my machine. Usually keep my PC in sleep mode over night. Symptoms: When PC would not produce a signal to monitor. Notice CPU debug light. Check CPU 8-Pin. Notice one pin on my PSU cable extensions was not seated. Treatments: - Took out CE (Cable extension), used PSU cable. Restarted system. CPU debug light. - Reset CMOS: Unplugged PSU from wall. Took out CMOS battery. Held power button for 10-15 seconds. Plug things back together. Restarted system. CPU debug light. - Reseated all PSU cables from PSU. Reseat all PSU cables from hardware, expect SDD. Restarted system. CPU debug light. - Changed to a different CPU pin on PSU. CPU1 -> CPU2. Restarted system. CPU debug light. - Reseated both RAM stick. Restarted system. CPU debug light. - Restarted system with just one RAM stick, then tested with other RAM stick. CPU debug light for each. - Reseated GPU out of desperation. Restarted system. CPU debug light. Personal Diagnosis: - PSU cable extensions bricked CPU - PSU is faulty on CPU output plugs. Specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X MB: Tomahawk B450 Max RAM: 2 x Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3600MHz 8GBs GPU: Nivida GeForce RTX 3060TI PSU: EVGA SuperNova 650+ 80+ Gold, Fully Modular CABLE EXTENSIONS: Asian Horse STORAGE: TForce Vulcan 500GB SDD CASE: Corsair 4000D Airflow. BOIS: XMP turned one, RAM speed set to 3600MHz. No overclocking except XMP. Any suggestion on what I do next? Or did that single unseated cable extension pin brink my CPU when I went to turn on my PC a few hours ago? Thanks!

Hi! I've bought some used hardware and i tested graphics card on my own rig. I swaped gtx 1070 for rx 570 and installed amd drivers becouse on the other pc i couldnt do that for some reason. After that pc was running good so i turned off pc and switched back to gtx 1070. After that windows didnt want to boot so i restarted and it started automatic repair and crashed at 23% so i turned off pc. After that there is no signal. No with HDD pluged in and pluged in either. Different pci slots also didnt do nothing. I would plug it in to mobo hdmi but i have ryzen 5 1600 so without gpu it wont show anything anyways. It's very wierd i ve never encountered with something like that. I seems like mobo or cpu is dead... Please help me cuz i can't handle this stupid PC. My PC CPU - Ryzen 5 1600 MOBO - Asus Strix B350F RAM - Trident Z 3000 16GB GPU - GTX 1070 Asus Strix

Ever since I built my new pc, I've been having this issue where 50-75% of the times I turn on my pc, the boot splash screen that says "Gigabyte" and stuff like "DEL: BIOS Setup" will show, but then my monitor will flash black and say no signal. I have tried some fixes I found online, but nothing has worked yet. If anyone knows what the problem is, please help. Intel Core i7 12700k Nvidia 3070 Gigabyte z690 gaming x ddr4 (updated bios yesterday) TridentZ RGB 3200mhz 32gb (it's at 2133 because XMP didn't apply once and I haven't reapplied yet) Samsung m.2 drive (I forgot which one) EVGA 750w platinum Windows 10 64bit Edit: If I put on my headphones, I can still hear windows. Like if I plug a usb drive in I can hear it, but both my monitors are still black.

Hi there, I moved from Japan to india . took my pc with me when i plugged into the power outlet I was using this pc for 2 years no issues everyday for avg 5-8 hrs a day and had faced no issues The machine starts as usual, gpu fans are turning lights on etc. then gpu led goes off fans running.. debug VGA light turns on. The white light stays lit and goes off after sometime..then Nothing on the screen, not even the BIOS screen... display backlight turn on but no video I took out the gpu and it worked fine with Integrated graphics ( Intel UHD) it worked everytime when I installed gt 210 it worked. So I thought it was a gpu card problem and I sent my gpu card to a repair service and they returned me and said "there is no problem with this gpu card, it works every time". They suggest me to look for a PSU or MOBO problem and I took my card, went home, installed it and it worked at first! Then it didn't again and again (tried about 20 times). Took my case to a repair shop to test it with other PSU or MOBO, but it worked there! The guy started the machine over and over and it booted every time! Took it to another shop, again it worked... It worked after I brought back to my home and played games like gta and valorant for some hours and turned it off .then when I turned back on again it wont show video out .. But it doesn't work at my home! Doesn't work at home, but works at repair shop. gpu doesnt have a VGA out so I use HDMI to VGA converter ..it has no issues when plugged into Integrated graphics Any suggestions? intel i7 8700K MSI b360 pro VDH Palit Xenon Jetstream GTX 1080ti Acbel 700w 80 PLUS bronze PSU

I've never built a PC and followed this guide https://youtu.be/w_HKRUPN1Mk since I want to get more into content creation. (The only difference is I upgraded to 32 GB of RAM instead. Still used the same brand though.) Build went together super easily. However once I powered it on I discovered it wasn't sending out a signal. The VGA white LED is lit up on the motherboard but I don't know what that means. All of the fans came on and everything appears to be functional. It just isn't sending out a signal. Please help!

I was playing a game on my ~2 year old pc (First one ive built, and has some minor quirks every once in a while) and noticed that my fans have been getting louder recently, so i decided to unplug everything, open it up, and dust everything off. My pc seems to collect dust pretty fast, so I have done this a few times before with no issues. I simply wiped all of the dust that collected on my fans and gpu gently with a rag. The only thing I really messed with was my graphics card; I took it out to dust it off without bumping anything, and then reseated it. I plugged everything back in and now my monitors, keyboard, and mouse dont get any signal. I've taken out different parts and tried booting without them individually, but get the same result each time. Never any beeps or LED's turning on when I tried booted without RAM. The PWR led on my motherboard is on, indicating that "the system is on, in sleep mode, or in soft-off mode" (According to the mb manual).I dont really understand how I could have damaged anything doing this. The motherboard, cpu, and graphics card still light up and my fans + water cooling still work. It's looking like I'm either missing something simple, or my motherboard is somehow shot. I've tried reseating pretty much everything, clearing the CMOS, changing out the CMOS battery, made sure every cable is plugged in, and a few other things. I would take it in somewhere, but everywhere nearby seems to be closed currently. Any ideas are appreciated, I've been at this for a day or two now and I'm not really sure where to go from here. I've looked everywhere online, but nothing works for me. I know this is another duplicated content but i've try many way without success so i'm gonna ask again if someone know the right solution to fix this. Previously i own a GTX1060 3gb, i use 2 screen 1 output using DP (165Hz) ThinkView and one on HDMI (60Hz) Dell U2414 everything work perfectly. After change to Rx580 i can't even see to BIOS screen. I managed to make it work by unplug and use the onboard port/Integrated GPU => window => remove Nvidia Drivers using it own uninstaller, disable integrate graphic => Install Radeon Drivers and everything running normal. Thought so, but then after restart/reboot the BIOS Screen still not showing and no signal again. I've find some answer like, electric discharge/cycle, unplug/plug stuff, switch port ... etc but nothing work, except the above solution. I think it's bios/drivers issue but i haven't found any permanently solution. Note: if i do nothing and just press enter it still able to boots to Ubuntu and everything work normal on it. Since ubuntu install later and it will automatic boots to ubuntu first instead of window. Thank you all. --- OS: Window10/Ubuntu Dual boot. UEFI. Hello forum! My PC specs: EVGA Gtx 1070 SC (about 4 months old) i7-4790k (3 years old) Asus z97 pro mobo (3 years old) Corsair Rm850 PSU So, I woke up this morning; I leave my PC on overnight, and hit the power button on my 2 monitors this morning. One turned , the other simply said "Display Port: No signal" I was able to move my mouse but the clicks were unresponsive. I wasn't sure if this was indicative of a CPU problem, memory freeze, or GPU signal issue? Cables were all slotted properly, and restarting the PC seemed to fix the issue. This has happened one other time a month ago or so~

Hello all, i need help setting up a Dual Monitor on my PC. I have recently purchased a Gigabyte RTX2060 Super Gaming OC. It comes with 3 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI output. I also have purchased a new monitor to have as my main. ( AOC G2590FX). I have been having issues trying to connect my old monitor (LG 22EN43T-B). My old monitor has only 2 available options to connect. A DVI-D and a VGA. I tried going the DisplayPort to DVI-D route with buying two cables but that didn't seem to work because it displayed "No Signal" So the last thing i could think of making this work is buying a DVI-D to HDMI adapter. I have connected the adaptor straight on my LG Monitor and then attached a working HDMI cable from the GPU to the LG Monitor. When i connect the LG monitor, i can hear the connection sound on my speakers, my AOC monitor goes to no signal and my LG monitor isn't displaying anything ( Black screen). So after obsessing over this for 2 days straight i thought i maaaaaaybe need some help. Any ideas or recommendations are welcome and i would realy appretiate it.
