Hi everyone, maybe someone here has an idea whats going on I am building 2 PC's for a customer and both will not POST and the CPU Fans wont spin. The case fans/PSU will spin though. Sadly the Board doesnt have LEDs on it for diagnostics. On the Asus Page it says something about a LED Q Core thing that tells you diagnostics from the power button flashing (?) but that one doesnt light up. I checked that everything is screwed in right and that no RAM is loose or cables not clicked in. I tested the 24 pin and 8 Pin cables from the other new PSU, still nothing. I used the other new Mainboard and CPU+RAM, nothing. I used the new PSU new becase I basically swapped everything but nothing happens. I searched a bit and thought maybe I need a BIOS Update and because the Board does not have a BIOS Flashback function I tested a 12Th gen Intel CPU on it but still nothing. I found the Sticky post here and tried removing the CMOS battery but still nothing, just Case Fans / optical drive would work lol Any Ideas/ suggestions or obvious things ? Hi, my pc have suddenly stopped working and I can't figure what it could be. When I click to turn it on, the cpu fan start spinning and the LAN LEDs also turn on but it doesn't POST. The speaker is working but doesn't do the single beep and there is no display. The display port is vga and is connected to the board Specs: asus AM1M-A with an AMD 5350 The last thing I did: that PC had 5 GPUs connected through risers. For this I had to disable the 3.0 asmedia controller and hd audio controller on the bios. All was good. I wanted to add a 6th GPU and had to disable the LAN controller. Connected a usb to ethernet adapter, turn on windows to check if it works. It does, so I disabled the LAN port. It turned on and I had internet through the usb. Turn off, put 6th GPU and then it never POST'd after this. What I tried: Turning everything off and on (including cables) Disconnecting every GPU and just leave the board + cpu + ssd (also tried without the ssd) Powering everything off and taking the CMOS battery for a few hours and shorting the CMOS reset pins Taking out the RAM (it beeps to signalizing it if I try to turn it on) Change RAM sticks Take CPU power and try to turn on (no beeps) Any additional suggestions are welcome, thank you for your time EDIT: The pc turned on after disabling the LAN port and I had internet through the usb. It was only after of it being disable, when I tried the 6th GPU for the first time that it broke

I updated the motherboard BIOS to 3.90 with AMD bootkit, as the original BIOS was not compatible with the CPU I bought I did the first boot and installed windows 10 64x while using the CPU that AMD sent for the BIOS update (Athlon 240GE with Vega graphics) But still can't boot with my own parts Any ideas or suggestions? Motherboard: ASRock B450M Steel Legend (BIOS 3.90) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT, 3.8GHz AM4 RAM: Husky Gaming 8GB 2666MHz DDR4 (x2) SSD: Adata 480GB SU635 SATA HD: WD Blue 1TB SATA GPU: ASUS TUF NVidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB GDDR6 (3 fans) Power Supply: AeroCool KCAS 500W 80 plus bronze Edit: The problem was that the RAM would not reach 2666MHz it supposed to. I had to ajust to 2400MHz in the BIOS after some help of friends that had spare parts. Also the BIOS had to be downgraded to P3.70 and now everything is working just fine.

Hi, I have recently built a new computer but have encountered some issues when trying to enable secure boot in order to play Valorant. The issue seems to be with the GPU, as I have a spare GT 710 with which the system seems to work even after updating the platform key. However as soon as I put my R9 280X back in, the fans etc turn on, but nothing else happens. I have attached a screenshot of GPU-Z which shows that the GPU supports UEFI, which to my knowledge should mean it allows secure boot? So far, I have my system working with secure boot enabled but not active at the moment, but this will not allow Valorant to load. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Good day to all! I need your opinion of what's going on with my computer. I'll explain you the story as short as possible so you'll understand more what's happened. It all started last March 24, 2020. The day I cleaned my computer where I removed all the parts to do a through cleaning. I do it annually as part of maintenance. Then when I assembled it back, it won't POST, I've noticed that the LED Debug light points to the CPU. So my suspicion at first its either CPU, Motherboard, or PSU is the culprit. Fast forward to June 2020, I've decided to reached out to my friend who has the hardware to test my parts out. He concluded that my motherboard's CPU socket "shorted" and he observed there are thermal grease around the HSF of the motherboard. So, I've decided to buy a new motherboard... He also tested that my RAM, CPU, GPU, HARD DRIVES, and SSD boot drive are FULLY WORKING. He even overclocked my RAM. Unfortunately, he didn't test the PSU. I'm not sure if he tested the old mobo dou... My OLD MOTHERBOARD is a MSI B350 PC Mate while the NEW MOBO is GIGABYTE AORUS GA-B450 WIFI PRO. Then when my new board arrived, I assembled it, to my biggest disappointed, it seems the problem followed (NO CPU POST) to the new one. I was very upset that time, so, I concluded that is the PSU is the problem. So, my friend made the wrong call that I need a new board. So I've waited another 17 days until my new PSU replacement arrived (July 10, 2020), when I got it, I tried to assembled it FIRST with the old board, and IT WON'T POST, same as before. Then I've changed with the new board, IT WORKS, for only about 2 hours... I've tested, EVERYTHINGS WORKING! GPU, RAM, even I could access all of my files in my drives... Then I was prompted to restart my computer for windows updates since it's been over 3 months since it last boot. I properly shut it down and when it was about to boot, I'm back to where it all started again... (LED Debug lights to CPU Only) I just wished in that time, I didn't clicked restart... Now as I'm typing this, I don't know what to do anymore. I felt like blankly dumbfounded and totally dreams crushed once again. Please, any opinions or suggestions what should I do? Thank you. I am building a second rig and can not get it to post after completing the build. I have exhausted all that I know to get this to work, and can not get a screen to post whatsoever. Interesting to note is that the CPU fan runs, the LED fans work, and the MOBO lighting (there is one strip type thing) is on. Steps : 1. Reset all RAM 2. Checked all PSU cables connection, secure 3. Removed battery from board, power cable unplugged, waited five mins, powered up no display.. 4. Removed and resat the GPU. 5. Tried the HDMI cable in the MOBO vs the GPU, no signal to working monitor (using the monitor now on main rig) 6. Went to Gigabytes website and compatibility list and ensured all were compatible parts. So this is my first GTX 1060 3gb card as well, and noticed that there is a little white/blue light on near the 6pin plug in, I assume this should be on? Any ideas on what to try next? I doubt the RAM or MOBO is defunct as they are brand new out of box... The GPU was purchased from a third party, but looks BRAND NEW, and lights up when powered on. HELP!! My cousin gave me a 1155 motherboard with an i3 2100... Thing is when i boot it up there's no post and no beep at all and also no lights on my keyboard and mouse but fans are running... But when i fired it up without ram i get a ram error beep code... What do you think is wrong with this system...? Do you think that the processor is dead... I never had an experience about a bad processor so i have no idea... Hope you can help me... Thank's...
