So my pc can boot to bios vut when going to os the windows spinning ring gets stuck almost immediately tried using a new ssd tried resetting cmos and bios tried only 1 stick of ram (in different slots too ) tried going into the windows installer from usb drive it gets stuck in same place any idea?

I'm honestly starting to get stumped by this issue. My partners computer has started to randomly CTD with no given error messages, this happens across multiple games, and they will randomly crash after a random amount of time EXCEPT One crashing at the exact same location. We are able to consistently replicate the crash in Microsoft Solitaire Collection at the exact same moment. The Computer specs are: ASUS X570 Prime-P Motherboard. AMD Ryzen 3900X CPU 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600MHz 2x16GB DDR4 1TB Samsung 970 EVO NVME Gigabyte GTX 1080 Corsair RM850i PSU We've tried swapping Graphics cards (to a MSI 1070). We've tried swapping RAM (to G-Skill 32gb) We're tried re-installing Windows, and taking out the NVME, using a fresh SSD (Non-NVME) and installing windows on that. We're tried updating the Bios The parts we have not yet tested are PSU, CPU, Motherboard. (Mainly because I don't have a spare AMD Motherboard or CPU at the moment) The Event Viewer gives the Event ID: 1000, and Exception Code: 0xc0000005 with Faulting Process ID: 0x2700 I'm honestly at a loss here, If it's persisting across a fresh windows install like this it most likely is hardware at this point right? Could it be Motherboard or CPU, if so what kind of issue could cause this? Honestly, I'd appreciate any ideas or help anyone can give.

What should I get for my birthday? So, my birthday is quickly approaching, and my parents gave me a budget of $200 to spend however I like. So far, I've decided to get a laptop bag, battery pack, and bluetooth earbuds. The problem is that all of those things only total to $80, so I have no idea how to spend the leftover $120. . . Hi! So i recently installed a new fan in my system. And, Ever since i have done this, the card is either crashing my PC or something else is. It will bring me to a screen saying no input to the monitor and the audio will cut out, but i can clearly see that the PC is running as there is hard drive activity, and lights are still running. ~ On Intel HD graphics I am having absolutely no problems what so ever, or for now. So, what shall i do? - When i was re-installing my graphics card into the PCI slot, on 3 occasions no power was put into the card / no LED's on the MSI logo, if that's any help. I had to take out the card, as my board is a M-ATX and the CPU Cooler + GPU doesn't let me access the PWM header. So erm, I genuinely have absolutely no idea what to do, im loosing my chill, and honestly close to smashing up my PC. Specs: i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz MSI R9 380 4G (NO OC) 8GB Kingston Value RAM DDR3 1600MHz Corsair CX600M 256GB LiteOnIt SSD 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD. I went back to Micro Center and exchanged the 960 for a EVGA GTX 950 short board. Tried it out to see if it fit when I got home and it seemed to fit. I pulled it back out then put everything back together to plug the PC back in. When the computer finally booted it brought me to a screen with "preparing repair" Then I chose to refresh to not lose my files then the computer booted as an Asus and most of my drivers including the network driver are gone. What in the name of spider pig do I do?!? Yes I am completely serious as I am new to all of this (usually more a software savvy guy) but trying to keep a positive mindset since I literally just bought this PC 2 days ago

I salvaged an old Pentium D from my deceased gramp's old computer. I was planning on cleaning the computer of dust and using it as a server or something, but the cpu socket has bent pins EVERYWHERE, it looks like someone just took a screwdriver and repeatedly mashed the pins for god knows what reason, so now I don't have a mobo that works with the CPU. What can I do with it?

Hey all im trying to build my 1st rig that uses water cooling and need some advice! im going to make an ITX build using the BitFenix Prodigy and plan on putting a 240mm rad in the top with a Radiator Shroud out side the case to give more room for fans the rad will only be used for CPU but i plan on learning more and try GPU cooling as well later in the future im stuck on how the circuit should work am i able to go directly from the radiator to a CPU block/pump or do i need to use other sources like in the pic? sorry so the noob question, we all gotta start somewhere :D Thanks for your time and support
