Ok so i've never built a pc before but i'm sure ill manage and stumble across the finish. I've only bought pre-builts in the past and i'm finally brave enouh to try on my own. I'm just wondering if the parts i've picked out are well balanced with maybe the oportunity to upgrade in the future if required. The parts are as follows: Psu: Corsair RM750 750W (2019) Cpu: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard: B550-F Gaming (Wi-Fi) Fans: 2x Silent Wings 3 120mm PWM (What is pwm?) Case: Phanteks Eclipse P300A tempered glass black (One 120mm fan included) Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB Gpu: Rtx 2070 (ill take it out of my old computer and use it in my new build to save some cash money) Ram: 8x2 GB 2666Mhz Hyperx Fury CL16. My pre-built pc that i'm using at this moment is very cramped inside and it's hard to remove things from it, I even think getting the gpu out is gonna be it's own little struggle. Are there any extra cables that are needed for the gpu that don't come with the new powersupply that i am thinking of buying? (Corsair RM750 750W (2019)) I will also take the ram from the pre-built. And just to make sure, there aren't any parts that i'm missing right?

I've recently gotten interested in learning how to build a PC. Well.. just 3 days ago actually. I have zero experience and very basic knowledge in pc building. I've been gaming on laptops and consoles for my life and I've just recently gotten my hands on an old desktop which I want to upgrade into a basic gaming pc. Mobo: ASUS H61 M-E CPU: Intel Celeron CPU G1610 @ 2.60GHz, 2600 MHz, 2 Cores, 2 Logical GPU: None? I think.. There was nothing in the PCI slot. Ram: 4gb, I think. This was bought in 2013 I think? And I want to upgrade it by getting a new CPU and a GPU. I was thinking of these two GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz I heard that these were budget gaming pc parts so I noted them down. Will these work with my motherboard? Or will I have to get a new one? I checked the socket in cpu-upgrade but I'm still in doubt. If anyone has any recommendations for a cheap but decent motherboard, that would be fantastic. I have very limited budget so I was thinking of getting these but I don't know if they work? I've researched a bit but it all looks so confusing to me. I've watched tons of videos on Youtube so I have some basic knowledge, but I still don't know much. Can anyone explain to me in basic terms if these will work out for gaming? Like for example some FPS games like Battlefield or maybe some survival games like Ark or Subnautica, even some MMORPGs like Tera or Blade n Soul. Hello everybody, I'm new to the forums and came here after watching a lot of Linus' videos on YouTube. I'll be giving my current PC and I want to build a new one for myself, but since I built my last PC in 2004 I could need some help with some details. I will be using this machine for gaming (Apex Legends, Sekiro, The Division 2, Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk 2077 - 30% FPS shooter and 70% triple A titles) as well as creative work (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro - that's all for now) I am not using 4k footage as of right now, but I might be doing so in the future. I will be streaming both of these things on twitch. I've only recently gotten into the creative side of things, so right now I'd say it's 75% gaming and 25% creative work, but that might change as I'm really enjoying it and already did some intros/transitions for fellow streamers. Currently using two 34" 3440x1440 120 Hz ultrawide monitors. I don't necesarrily need the ability to do both gaming and rendering AE projects at the same time, but it might be handy sometimes tbh. Location is Germany and the budget is max. 6.000 EUR - I don't need monitors/peripherals, and already have a case (Antec Torque), 1x 1TB Samsung 970 Pro NVMe SSD and more storage, so that is also taken care of. I need advice on CPU, GPU, Mobo and Ram for my usecase. CPU: 9900K vs. HEDT (9980XE?) GPU: ASUS ROG Strix/Matrix 2080 Ti (I am waiting for the new ASUS PG35QV like a lot of people - will a single 2080 Ti be able to push enough frames on such a beast of a monitor if it ever releases? (Ultra, 120+ Hz)) Ram: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB vs 64 GB - also: 3200MhZ CL14, vs 3600 MhZ CL17? Mobo: Asus ROG Maximus XI Extreme (Asus ROG Ramapge VI Extreme for the HEDT version of this build) As you can tell I am a fan of ASUS products - and while I know that there are sometimes better options out there, I like my things to look clean and fitting a certain theme, for this build I want to go ASUS/ROG. I just got some new DDR3 4GB RAM for my gaming PC and so then I took out my 8GB DDR3 RAM and put in the new one in all four slots but then it didn't work so then I went back to the 8th gigabyte one but then after that the Entire Computer wouldn't connect to the TV please I need some help

Alright so, this is my first post (in any forum like this, really) so bare with me a little. I'm planning on building the biggest and baddest (the good kind of bad) rig I can, money is not a problem unless I hit the $13K mark or so, but other than that everything should be fine. I'm building this computer because I've been gaming since I have memory on the worst possible hardware (and consoles) given that I come from a third world country (Venezuela), but I moved to the States and I'm ready to have the full enthusiast experience. I'm buying all the parts on December so the list of part will change as time goes, especially if a new CPU gen from Intel/AMD or GPU from NVIDIA/AMD is released that exceeds the ones in the current build. A quick rundown of my build is this: (Part list is here -> https://pcpartpicker.com/user/mamimami/saved/mGBXHx) I may be new to building but I've following Linus and other multiple computer hardware channels for around three years, so I think I get most of the basics when it comes to building a PC or choosing the components. By the way, if you know the components, you may have already noticed that every single component is RGB lit and most of them work with Asus' Aura Sync, I'm also trying to mimic Linus' ultimate RGB build he did a year ago while still upgrading the components to match the most powerful for the time (part of it is just to piss of a friend that hates RGB components). Also I'm aware of the electricity costs, don't worry. The things I need most help with at the moment are simple things that I have not been able to find anywhere, which are: How often should I maintain my cooling loop? Is it very hard to actually assemble the loop and get everything in place? Is it fine to run one monitor on the slave GPU while the other two are on the main one, since the GPUs only have 2 Displayports, meaning one must run on a different card? Does overclocking hurt the components as bad even if they are extremely cooled? Is there anything I may be missing or any component that could be upgraded? Do I use kryonaut also for the GPUs and the water blocks? Or how does those work? How much is "enough" thermal paste? If you can answer any of those questions, please reply to this post with the number before the answer, and thanks for reading! EDIT: More questions! (6-7) EDIT2: Hit the $12K mark, so all the current components will stay as they are until RAM prices go down and new components are out, hopefully the successor to the GTX 1080 will run 4K games like it's nothing.

Hello, everybody! I go by Tidus Ramidros on the interwebs, and I showed up here from the LTT YouTube page. I've been experimenting a lot with computer stuff recently and it's always been a passion of mine. My current setup, dubbed Argchlein Zero, is really just an old office machine with a new discrete GPU in it. It's an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+, overclocked 10%, with an EVGA GTX 750 in it. Yeah. Not fantastic by any standards. But it does what I need it to do before I start working this summer and create my first REAL build, Argchlein One. I might have some questions for peeps, and I hope to have your support throughout my time here.

Ok, so first of all, I'm new to this building PCs world and I have a question on cooling systems (since its both on water and air, didn't wanted to post it on the specifics forums). I have a stock fan on my AMD's FX 6300 black edition and sometimes when I'm gaming (read: most of the time) the noise it makes can get a pretty annoying, it someties comes up whne I'm just browsing the internet. I assume its from the heat it produces so I was thinking of getting better cooling for it and more silent. Keep in mind that I live in Puerto Rico, and its always hot and humid all the year and if the noise its annoying on "winter", can't imagine on summer. So here is where I need your expert help. I was thinking of getting better fan cooler like Cool Master Hyper 212 EVO and didn't knew if to leave the fan or take it out. Also, for water cooling like Corsair H60. As you might have seen, im trying to stay off 100$ price point. But if there is no other option i will accept it. Overall I play some League Of Legends and a few other games, not really a hardcore gamer. To sum it up, I'm looking for a silent (at least less noise than the stock fan) solution, while keeping in mind that I live in Puerto Rico and it can get pretty hot and humid on the summers here. Expert's of Linus community, unleash your wisdom on me.

So I saw the demo at Pax east of the dogfighting module and it was AWESOME. I am super interested in early-access to this game, alpha, beta, and final release. I am however completely new to this type of game, never played a space sim/game before, but loving this one. So I guess... how/where do I buy this game? Or I guess buy early-access, whatever Is it money per month? Like ESO? One time payment, what do I need to buy/what should I buy and lastly how much is it gonna cost me?
