Hello! I've been using Asus mbs for a bit now and I decided to upgrade my config to AM5 recently, for that purpose I got a Rog Strix X670E-F Wifi mb alongside 64gb of DDR5 from Corsair (CMK64GX5M2X6800C32) and a R9 7900x. Finished the upgrade a bit ago and after trying out to make the build post, it keeps turning on the orange DRAM led and never posts. Stuff I tried: - Use each of the ram stick alone - Use other spare DDR5 sticks from crucial (4800) - Remove the CPU cooler (i applied a lot of pressure so I tried without it) - Use iGPU - Try without ram lol - Removing the CMOS battery - Using the Reset CMOS button on the io bakcplate of the mb - Try to flash the bios to latest version using asus flashback tool but I cannot confirm it worked Nothing so far have given results and i'm kinda running out of ideas, replacing the board or other components really isn't what i wanna do. For reference my GPU Is a 3070, I have populated every NVME slots (so 4) one with a bootable partition, one with some data and 2 brand new, No SATA drives have been connected and my PSU supports 850W and the CPU is using 8 pins rather than 4. So I've had my PC for like 6 years, I decided to upgrade some parts. I switched to a Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE motherboard with a ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 4x8GB 3200 DDR4 crutial ballistix gaming memory ( not sure if it's the full name of the product ) and a samsung 970 evo plus NVMe M.2 SSD. I kept everything else ie: 2 HDD ( 1 & 2 To, I can check manufacturer and specs if needed but I haven't had any problem with them for years ) graphic card ( MSI Geforce 970 ), PSU ( it's a "LDLC EC-500 Quality Select 80PLUS Bronze", french reseller, probably a rebranding, more info here ) and fans and tower (thoug I doubt that's the problem ). After installing every component I first checked it booted, then reactivated windows ( because new MB ) then used the CD included with the MB to install all included drivers. Then I used a key to install windows on my new SSD, once it was done I formatted the former main HDD and recreated a partition ( for some reason the PC manufactrurer initially made 2 partitions on that disk ) then because I spent all day on it I didnt check any more driver until the following morning, instead I watched stuff on amazon prime, on firefox, and that's when I started to have very frequent BSODs ( it was not periodic, but about every 10mins) each time I waited for the computer to restard, went back to watching the boys, and it crashed about 15min later. I had a variety of messages including ( but probably not limited to) : "kmode_exception_not_handled" "irql_not_less_or_equal" "apc_index_mimatch" "kernel_security_check_failure" "page_fault_in_nonpage_area" Later I checked for cpu and gpu drivers, I checked that I had the latest windows update, and everything was up to date, but I kept on getting BSODs when watching Prime on firefox, I mention it because I had almost no bsod when watching YT or broswing the web, I don't see how it would be related but hey I have no idea what's wrong so why not. I marked my memory sticks 1-4 and tried a variety of configurations, I spent a lot of time with only 1 on civ6 and no prob, a bit less time with 1&2 and no problem either, then I could spend quite some time with 1&2&3 but it ended up in bsod, same for 1&2&4, 1&2&empty slot&3, and for 3 alone. The problem is i can't know if only 1&2 work or if there's another problem and I just didnt wait long enough. So I spent 7 hours running the memtest86 with the 4 sticks and... it found literally no errors (which is kind of weird, I'd expect it to found some random errors in a 7h test even if they were working ) so I don't know what to think. On another hand, it ended hours ago and I still haven't had a BSOD since... But I gess my PC has a very nice sense of humor because I had a BSOD while writing this, thank god I don't have to write this all over again or I would have just thrown th PC out the window. And another one min later both "kernel_security_check_failure". As requested by the posting instructions i have the dump files here, I tried to be as thorough as I could, but if I missed any important detail please let me know. I am starting to get desperate, tomorrow I will re-install windows and update the BIOS, I don't see how that would change anything but I got no more ideas.

I'm going to be building a new pc. I've been buying components gradually over the past few weeks because I'm poor and can't buy everything all at once. The main uses for this computer will be gaming, recording and editing. I used to do video editing on a 400 dell laptop so anything is an upgrade. So far I have a corsair 100r case (windowed), msi b250 pc mate motherboard, corsair vengeance 8gb (2x4) ram, and an i5 6500 cpu. I'd like to not spend more than 70 on a hard drive. Should I get a wd black 1tb, or blue 2tb? What's the best power supply type/brand? I want a gforce gxt 1060, should I get the 3gb or the 6gb? And other advice is appreciated! Hey guys I got a new mainboard and a new cpu ryzen 2700x and an Asrock b450m steel legend After the changes from Intel i56600k and my old Mainboard the pc doesnt Boots in the BIOS or anything else is one they screen but the pc makes booting sounds My other components Gtx 1060 asus 6gb 550w corsair 1tb HDD Wraith prism cooler (also new. Hello guys Im here again I returned my Cpu and my mainbaord ( ryzen 2700x and asrock b450m steel legend) and bought new ram corsair 16gb 3000mhz and again build all the things into my case . After that I tried to boot and again thr CPU cooler doesnt starts and my screen is black. So I removed again the battery and like last the time the cpu cooler started working but the screen is still black

So, as the title says, my pc has started giving me a ton of BSODS. And I can't find the reason behind of it all.. A couple of days ago, I purchased some new parts: a PSU (Corsair RM750, 2019 version), an SSD (Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB), and an HDD (Seagate BarraCuda 2TB); and after I put them in my system, the BSODS started to appear. At first, I reinstalled Windows 10, and during the second part of the installation (when Windows asks for the keyboard layout, whether I want personalized ads or not, etc), I started getting blue screens. This was somewhat of an annoyance, as I got multiple blue screens at this part, and I had to restart my computer a couple of times, before managing to complete the installation (by rushing through it) and boot into Windows. Also, during the first part of the installation (when I have to format, delete, etc partitions, I didn't get any blue screens). After the install, I noticed that after a couple of minutes of doing anything (browsing, downloading stuff, etc), my pc would get a BSOD. Already getting sick of it, I decided to do another Windows 10 install, this time using a larger bootable device (a 32GB USB Flash Drive; last time, I installed Win 10 from a 4,74GB DVD), but the BSODS continued. Things I have tried: Multiple Windows 10 installations (from the 32GB Flash Drive); Removing the new SSD and HDD, and putting back in the old HDD, while running my system on the new PSU; Removing the SSD and putting it back in; Running chkdsk (it didn't find any issues); Running Windows Memory Diagnostic tool two times (it didn't find any issues); Swapping graphics cards (I've got two, an RX 5700 XT, and a GTX 1050 Ti; the blue screens occured on both of them). Notes: I don't get any BSODS in safe mode; I had been getting some BSODS before I put the new components in my rig, but those were because of the 5700 XT, and they were much rarer (I sometimes encountered them when I put a game in the taskbar); I've got very little dust in my PC; I've never spilled anything on the components; I've never scratched the components. Basically, I will always get a BSOD during the first 10 minutes after booting.

So i recently bought a new PC components, assembled them and for the love of God, I do not know why it does not work. I tried to put the memory and the Power Supply on another PC and they worked so can somebody give me some advice? My build: HDD WD Caviar Blue 1TB SATA3 64MB 7200RPM Case Zalman Z3 Plus Black SSD WD Green 120GB SATA3 2.5 inch GPU Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050Ti G1 Gaming 4GB GDDR5 128bit Power Supply Corsair CX650 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Memory Kingston HyperX Predator 8GB DDR4 3000MHz CL15 Procesor Intel Core i7 8700 3.20GHz Socket 1151 Box Motherboard Gigabyte Z370P D3 Socket 1151v2 When I press the power button, it tries to boot up, but it's like some kind of protection that keeps stopping it. I tried plugging out everything except the supply for the CPU, motherboard, and the power button, and it did like in the following video. If i put in everything (gpu,memory, ssd etc) it does not try to boot it up as many times as in the video, it just tries to spin the fan once and then dies. Is it the motherboard?
