Hi guys, I currently am in Mexico and would like to start a Gaming Cafe here in my City. Im close to the border and can cross to get PC from the U.S. Was wondering is it possible that with a $1000 USD budget I can get a decent PC for people to come in and have a descent gaming expierence? What do you recommend? Should I go prebuilt? Where is a good place to get a descent PC at this price point. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This error has been occurring every time I boot up my computer, and has persisted for some months now. What happens is, the error either happens right before reaching my lock screen or 5-10 minutes (or earlier) after I've reached my desktop and start doing any kinds of tasks. And after all that the PC works perfectly fine no matter how long I keep using it, or just leave it to idle. From what I've read, this error is mainly related to updated or non-updated device drivers, windows updates, poor hardware or any kind of malware present in the PC that might effect an integral file of the Windows 10 OS. From my own troubleshooting I have: Kept device drivers and windows updated, there is no issue from there. Checked all hardware integrity; especially my HDD's which was a major concern for me since everyone had pointed towards this being the issue; and everything seems perfect. Repeated conducted full scans via Windows Defender to skew out vicious malware; it could not find anything. Kept PC clean physically. And well, nothing seems to work, my PC is working perfectly, it's just that, this error is really annoying and I just want to get rid of it, and for the life of me I haven't been able to. I have another piece of info that might help, as my monitor, I use an old 1080p LCD TV with built in HDMI input, could this be an issue? Also I once ran a program that logs files that cause BSOD errors, and this came up every time: "ntoskrnl.exe". So how do I fix this lads?

needed Troubleshooting - Memory and no post
Labs994 posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Hello, I am new to this forum so apologies if I am posting in the wrong section. My motherboard recently got damaged due to possible power surge (Died overnight), but the morale of the story is that I had to upgrade to a new motherboard as a result. And this is where the problems start. Old system: Ryzen 5900X MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk Wifi Corsair H115i RGB PRO XT Gigabyte RTX 3070 Vision OC 32Gb 3600Mhz DDR4 (4x8Gb) Crucial Ballistix RGB (BL8G36C16U4BL) Saumsung 970 Evo 1tb WD SN850 1tb Crucial 500Gb SSD 2TB 3.5" HDD 800W Coolermaster Golden plus PSU CPU was sent back for RMA but it was tested and posted + ran cinebench (Results forwarded). After replacing the new motherboard (Gigabyte Aorus X570s Elite AX) the computer would only post with one 8GB stick in DIMM_A2 Where the bios cannot detect the manufacturer of the ram or even the correct frequency despite enabling XMP. Double checked the QVL from Gigabyte and this Ram is listed as compatible. If I add any other sticks or place in a different slot then the computer will restart a couple of times after turning on with no post. CMOS was cleared several times during my attempts at troubleshooting. Tested the RAM on one of my other systems ( 3600X + Prime B450 and it posts and runs okay without XMP - Not tested). Currently I am running 16GB of Vengeance on the new Mobo with XMP at 3200Mhz and runs okay, I did a fresh install and gave the Ballistix one last try but with no luck. Could this be an issue of compatibility? Or is it possible that the RAM is bad? Thank you!-

I built my brand new pc about 3 weeks ago and and have had this issue since. I try to play games like GoW, Cyberpunk, Forza5, and Apex. It's either unable to load into the game or I'm loaded in the game and when go to play a game it crashes and shows the error message I have posted. I have tried over a million different things and nothing has resolved this issue. Os - Windows 11 pro 64 bit Cpu - 12600k MoBo - Asus ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 ATX LGA1700 Ram - Patriot Viper Steel 16 GB DDR4-4400 cl19 Gpu - Msi RTX 3060 Ventus 3x 12g Oc Psu - Corsair RM850x Storage - 2X: Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive reseating everything, reinstalling games and drivers (tried ddu) and bios, temps are good, reinstalling os 2 different times. have surfed the entire web trying to resolve this but am not able to get anything done. Everything else I do on this computer isn't a problem, watching youtube, playing minecraft with shaders, and listening to music. Please comment your opinion on this, anything is appreciated.

Hello everyone, i hope it's the right place to post this. So i just bought an Asus Vivobook 15 with : 120g ssd Amd ryzen 3 3200 with raedon vega mobile Gfx 2.6Ghz processor A vega graphics card 8gb ram with 5.95 useable. I am very clueless when it comes to computer, parts, what they're used for and ultimately if they're good or not. I just took those info from system specs in windows search bar. So my question is, should i wait to learn how to build my first build and afford it too, or should i try to upgrade the graphics card, ram and stuff of my asus to be able to play with at least stable fps in games ? The one that interests me most is Rocketleague, with my current specs, even after i tweaked the game configuration file to minimize all the visiual effects in order to have stable fps it just doesn't cut it, i get frames drop and screen freezes that last well over a second, which is totally unplayable for a fast paced game, in online ranked at least. So if you could help me pic a path that'd be great. Peace !

I have a Gainward GTX 780Ti which is artifacting all the time. I have tested all the voltages, resistance and currents and have found there is a resistor with a resistance of several thousand. I need to find a schematic so that I can find out what component it is and replace it. Does anyone know where I can find a schematic or diagram like this? Any help is much appreciated,

In my rig i have a 6600k cooled by a H110i GTX from Corsair (i know its overkill don't worry) but the tubing off the cooling block is really stiff and i would like to know if anyone has experience with "taming" the tubing since its very stiff and i want to keep the tubing off the case window. In the pictures you can see that the tubing is a but close to the window and i would love to have them sit basically above the GPU and the radiator but I don't have any ideas how, thanks in advance!

Hey guys, so i'm quite well acquainted with computers and know a lot about them, however one thing i do struggle with, is how networking and bluetooth technology work. So it only makes sense to ask others for the best path to adding good bluetooth to my computer. I would like to get a bluetooth usb adapter, however there are so many on the market, that if you guys could point out the best for me to buy, that would be great. My operating system: Windows 10 pro anniversary, all updates installed. With kind regards - Kurt Also the bluetooth will be pairing with an apple keyboard and perhaps in the future a headset.

Hello everyone, Does anyone know where I could get the Rails for an HP ProLiant DL380 and a Dell Poweredge R200 for cheap? I've been looking at some stuff on eBay and other websites, but there, the rails cost around 60€... Is that too much? I thought they'd cost something in the neighbourhood of 10-20€ for one server... So, does anyone know where I could get these for cheap?

So for fun my friend and I are making a language and to make things easier we want to be able to have our newly created characters on the computer to mess with, so I got on "Private Character Editor" by windows and found it was very difficult to get the correct shape of the character I needed and also to keep the sizes of the characters consistent, so unless you guys can link me to a much more user friendly Unicode making software than I request for someone who is "skilled" in some sort of Unicode Character making software to create the characters needed for my friend and I. For whomever is interested I can message you a imgur link to all the characters I need done, thanks!

monitor I need help (Budget monitor suggestions needed)
AverageInternetUser posted a topic in Displays
Hi, I saved up some cash and I am giving my setup to my younger brother for christmas as I am building a new pc. YAY! The pc will have a i5 6600k and a gtx 1070 from EVGA. I am giving him my only monitor My Budget is £200/$250 I need suggestion on a new monitor, It may be 144hz 60hz whatever ips or tn as long as it is good. I would prefer something gaming oriented but I dont play competitively so I don't NEED 144hz but I heard it's something SUPER cool so I might give it a try. However, most monitors in my budget are not that great. I could make some exceptions when it comes to budget even $100 but if it is absolutely worth it. I had an IPS display for 2 years so i will probably like some good colours. I had a dilemma for the past week there just so much choices. Some thing I would like: Blur-Free/ Overdrive: for IPS VESA mount/ wall mountable Good colours Thin bezels -
Hello everyone. I have a question that I would like someone with a lot more knowledge than me to help me with. I'm about to purchase a new rig and I want to get 32GB of RAM, 2 sticks of 16GB each to run in dual channel. My question is do I Really need to buy a kit (so 2x16GB) to run in dual channel or can I just order 2 separate sticks of 16GB of the same model? I ask this question because getting the 2 separate sticks (16GB each) is literally the equivalent of 60$ less than getting the kit. As far I know from an old friend the kit guarantees to work in dual channel and at the frequencies the manufactures says, but getting individual sticks and putting them together is not, so they might work or might not work. Is that really true? Do I really need to spend 60$ more just to be sure that dual channel and the advertised frequencies work? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm currently building a budget PC for myself and was wondering if my 1TB Intel 660p SSD (main SSD) would be sufficient for booting Windows and holding most of my main storage. I figured I could save $100cdn on a boot SSD if it'd be fine on my main, so I'm checking here first ;) performance is optimal, but so is saving money, any answers? Btw I was looking at the 250GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus if needed $94.99cdn...

Hello! I'm planning to buy a new GPU somewhere around December. I was wondering if I should get the RTX 1060 or the GTX 1060 (which one would have better value/price/etc). I currently have a i3 4160, 16GB of RAM, and a GTX 950. I know it will be a little bottlenecked, but as long as it isn't one that would cause noticeable frame drops or performance loss, it's OK. Thank you!

I'll admit right now, I've never once used cross fire, and when I was using two 670TI's I always had issues with them in SLI so I never used SLI with them. I play all my games in window mode. I use to stream on Lounge Gaming (Twitch) for a couble years, playing Mabinogi, Minecraft, Firefall, Left 4 Dead 2, so on. I have a three monitor setup, I'd just stretch out the games across the monitors. I never had a problem with frame rates, In modded minecraft at 1080p with 32 textures, and in Mabinogi I was still getting above 70fps. With my EVGA 760 SC I'm still doing the same things, and I did it with skyrim. I stretch my monitor across two screens with a GT 440 no problem (I think it was either mid to high settings. I can't remember. I'll see if i can borrow it fromt he friend i gave it too). Why does everyone care about SSI/Crossfire?

Hello guys, I am looking for a high wattage UPS to buy. My air conditioner has recently been screwing with my electricity, and my components have been drawing too much electricity, causing, under high stress, to lose power to my room. I need a UPS with enough wattage to be able to keep my custom pc, xbox one, and a few other things running, in order to not have them lose power during an outage. I was wondering, what can and can't you run on a UPS? Also, can you use them to charge devices? I'd like it to be affordable as possible, but if need be, it is fine to suggest something of a higher price. All help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/gFHFTH That's my (almost) 9 month old pc. Built it myself (first one I've ever built). Love it to bits; got my gpu fixed (had some issues), gonna add nee fans soon (at least i hope so cause these stock ones are freaking loud!) etc. But right now I have a new problem; dust. Holy SH*T THERE IS SO MUCH DUST IN IT LIKE WTF!!!! And l somehow need to clean it, but idk how. Any tips on what should i use, maybe watch out for something in my build, anything really. P.S. The dustiest parts are my gpu fans, fans (in general) and my psu. Need to clean that fast cause the temps are getting higher everyday. Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone! For the past month or so, I've spent countless hours looking at different PC parts trying to decide what's best to get for the budget that I have. My budget is anywhere from £800 - £1200. I'm looking at playing games such as World of Warcraft (requirements are pretty low for that I know), Fallout 4 and some of the newer games that come out. I'm also looking at perhaps streaming sometimes and rendering / editing videos. This isn't what I primarily want the PC for but if it's able to hand these things well, then perfect. I was told by a handful of people that "A high end i5 is better than a low end i7 in both price and performance". To my understanding, a high end i5 would do the job but if I'm looking at streaming / recording, it might be best to go with an i7 instead? (Probably the 4790k) Also, Overclocking. This is something I want to do and I selected the H100i to cool my CPU with. The graphics card I'm not fussed about overclocking up and I see it's already superclocked so I won't need to tinker with that at all. Are there any further suggestions you guys could give me? If there are, can you please try to explain a little why I should use a different piece of hardware etc? I've sought information before and just had people say "Get this instead - ###" with no explanation which leads to no justification for me to choose what they've said over my choice. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/ZG94zy Thank you all!

Hello and thank you for clicking on this topic! I am going to be building a new system and I am wondering whether or not to but a titan z or titan x. I am wanting the titan z as it has double precision while the titan x does not and the titan z is a dual gpu card. Even though titan x is better for gaming, I am wanting this as a workstation computer as well and my tasks need double precision. I am leaning towards the titan z side at the moment but I am not sure if it can reach 1000mhz (water cooled) and if I can find a water block (EVGA Hydro Copper is a last resort). Any help would be appreciated!
