Hi all, Just looking for some advice on a problem that seems to plague custom builds. RGB. Recently built new rig; Asus Prime z790-P MB, 13900K, meg CoreLiquid, MSI Suprim 4090 GPU, Trident Z5 RAM. Given the MSI cooler and GPU using Mystic Light for RGB control makes sense, however it cannot see the RAM. I will also be putting in 3x RGB fans and a light strip (MB has 5v RGB headers). Aura sync will control all of these but not the cooler or GPU. The Cooler I don't mind running MSI for as it sits outside Mystic Light anyway. Signal RGB detects and can control all but treats the GPU as 1 LED when it has at best guess 50? So no effects work. Is there any solution to have all working in sync? Bonus points if it includes Hue sync as TV and the whole room are Hue lights. Thanks Jack

When I first built my computer the Ram would cycle through colors forever but I wanted to try and customize the RGB. I downloaded Dragon Center(Mystic Light) and I didn't like the options so I put the Ram on the 'default' setting. But now it skips colors every few seconds. How can I fix this? Hi! Im new in this forum and i need some help. I recently started upgrading my pc. I bought a new cpu along with a new MSI Motherboard, the Msi MPG Z490 Gaming Carbon Wi-Fi. I installed Dragon Center and configured some nice lighting effects. Everything was working normally until a couple days ago I installed some new ram sticks. I installed two Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL. I downloaded iCue to customize the rgb leds in the sticks but it also changed my motherboard lights. Then i managed to keep both lights as I wanted and everything worked fine, but I noticed that when I turn On my pc again, the ram sticks will keep the rgb effects of dragon center, so i disabled dragon center from opening when I boot up the pc, but here's the problem. Now my motherboard rgb lights died, they just don't work anymore. I tried reinstalling both dragon center and icue but nothing worked. I can change the effects in the mystic light window but nothing changes in the motherboard itself. Its just black. The motherboard doesn't even show up anymore in iCue. (The ram sticks lighting effects now work perfectly fine tho) Does anyone knows a way to fix it? The motherboard works perfectly fine, its just the rgb leds, and I honestly really like to take care of the aesthetics of my rig XD. Thanks for any help :D

I've just gotten my new system up and running and now I want to set up all my RGB, as ya do. The thing is, I have Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM and an MSI motherboard (B550 Gaming Plus)... I installed MSI Center first and got everything configured, but couldn't find any way to interface with the RAM about 2 or 3 hours later, after downloading iCue and going through several tutorials and other videos, I come to find that the one way that seemed to work reliably (enabling full software control and open SDK in iCue) is no longer available, as iCue has updated or something since then and the options are unavailable. Am I just SOL on this, or is it still possible to get everything to work together? I wouldn't mind having both iCue and Mystic Light, but I would prefer to just have a singular software. I don't really know what I'm doing with software, this is my first build, so I've just kinda fumbled my way through to this point Any help would be greatly appreciated

Im having an issue with my new B450M Mortar Max motherboard as I know that the built-in LEDs on the motherboard should be customizable with Mystic Light but its not showing on the software and I can only change the lighting on my RAM which are Crucial Ballistix sticks. I also have some Lian Li ST120 fans installed and made a mistake by plugging them into the 4-pin 12V header on my motherboard as it doesnt have any 3-pin 5V headers. Could this have damaged the RGB hardware on the motherboard? Since I'm trying everything before changing any hardware, I downloaded the standalone version of Mystic Light and it detected my motherboard and I could change the color of my motherboard LEDs and it syncs with the fans as well as I bought a DeepCool RGB convertor to plug into my motherboard, but my RAM wasnt detected this time. I want to be able to customize everything from one place for convenience sake. I'm suspecting that Mystic Light in MSI Center isnt compatible with the motherboard yet since the software is fairly new, but it lists MSI Center as part of the motherboards utilities on the website. I'm hoping to see if anyone else has the same issue or if theres a way to fix this.

Is there any way to switch lighting profiles in MSI Center (for my GPU) using my Elgato Stream Deck? AFAIK there are no hotkeys in MSI Center. There is an SDK but I can't find too much documentation on it. Appreciate any help!

Hello guys and ladies, I recently build a Computer using the following (relevant) parts: -MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC -AMD Wraith Prism stock cooler (by Cooler Master) -4x Corsair SP120 RGB fans (connected over RGB hub to JCorsair header on MoBo) -2 sticks of DDR4 g.Skill TridentZ RGB RAM -Razer DeathAdder Chroma (non Elite, non V2; normaly requires Synapse 2.0) -Razer Cynosa Chroma -Razer Goliathus Chroma I observed the following thing: I started this journey by fullfilling the wish to control my old Synapse 2.0 DeathAdder Chroma mouse with the recent version of Razer software(s). I encountered that using the Chroma Visualizer it is possible to sync keyboard, mouse and mousepad in different modes by applying "always on " and my "standard audio-device", setting visualization and background to the same effect and applying the same brightness. A little later I realized, that also my Wraith Prism CPU cooler was lit up in the representative colour(s). After clicking through the Razer Synapse tabs, i saw that under "connect" the "MSI_LED.exe" was deactivated. Checking MSI Mystic light, I realised, it was no longer controlling the RGB of the CPU cooler, and deactivating the "Game sync" mode, also added the MoBo and the g.Skill RAM LEDs to the synchronized LEDs. BUT, by deactivating Mystic lights "game sync", the MoBo seems to loose the configuration for my SP120 fans, which results in mostly off LEDs and alternating flickering. I observed such behaviour already on my primary system, when selecting the wrong sort of Corsair fans (e.g. HD, LL, etc.). So I assume, deactivating the "game sync" leads to the selection of the default sort of Corsair fans for the JCorsair header. Does anyone have a clue on how I can set my SP fans as default by modding MSI Mystic Light? Thanks in advance ;D PS. I could check for Corsair ML and LL fans, for beeing set as default... (Albeit ML fans are not selectable in Mystic Light)

Hello LTT users, i have an question for my pc build, i want to have an MSI mb (MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon) and this motherboard supports MSI Mystic Light, And for the GPU I want an Asus GeForce GTX 1060 Strix OC (With Asus Aura) Can I control the LEDs on the GPU with MSI Mystic Light? Thanks Sven

Don't know how many other people have been using the MSI gaming app as long as I have but man have you ever questioned why you can't sync anything with it? If you click flashing on one part of the mobo it won't sync to the other part that was also in flashing mode. I find this really annoying as lighting sync is a must. I have an x370 msi gaming pro carbon and recently found out that my mobo has support for MSI's mystic light / mystic light SYNC When I installed it the only thing that was noticed by the software was my Corsair Mousepad and M65 Mouse. I know my mother bored supports Mystic lighting so if anyone knows how to get it recognized by the software it'd help me out A TON. I read a few forums but the majority of the peoples problems were that mystic light wasn't supported for the mobo they were using so those forums weren't helpful. I will continue trying my self tomorrow and hopefully fix it myself but any help would be great thank you. PS: I've had this mobo since 2017 and not once heard or knew about mystic lighting until now... lol....

Hi all, Just built a new pc!! It was easy for the most part but making the cpu overclock stable on a vudget is definitely a challenge. After days of tinkering I was finally able to get a stable enough state but the high temps were too high for my liking. Anyways, its fine now. Had to change to os to insider so that android studio works properly but ryzen master refuses to to run with virtualization on (so BIOS OC for the win!). I'm rambling into a tangent now. Those are not a problem. The main problem I'm having right now (not exactly a 'problem') is the lack of control on mystic light. Anybody else who uses a B450 Pro Carbon AC, can you confirm that the rgb 'zones' work independently or not? What I mean to say is can you set say different brightness values for different zones? I'm not sure if the feature is missing or buggy or its a motherboard fault. The layout of the software definitely looks like its permitted but I.. don't really trust msi software.

Having recently bought some WS2812 LEDs I'm very happy with the software and controlling them. But is there a way to tell the software how many LEDs are on your strip? The default for the JRainbow header is 20, and its annoying because with my high density strip that means every 15 or so cm, the effect repeats itself. I want to specify the number of LEDs so that the effect can utilize all the LEDs instead of just repeating.

Hello all, Been digging up ALL of the information I can find on this. Checked Reddit, Razer, and MSI. I am having trouble syncing my RAM, Motherboard, and GPU with my Razer Pad, Mouse and Keyboard. Mystic Light controls the internal components, Razer controls the peripherals just fine. Any help would be so appreciated since I really really don't want to buy Razer/Hue RGB Strips and/or replace the RAM/MOBO for inside the case just to sync right. I can live without the RGB on the GPU. But if it just isn't compatible I guess I have an excuse to upgrade some stuff. I have tried: Game Sync turned on in Mystic Light (baked into Dragon Center) Chroma Connect installed and it can see MSI Mystic Light, and it's visible in Studio. (See ScreenShots) Reinstalling multiple versions of Dragon Center/Mystic Light based on my mobo and GPU Reinstalling Synapse, and installing it before Dragon Center/Mystic Light and vice-versa Many, many reboots (soft and full). Updating Mobo BIOS. Updating all applicable applications through their in-app update tools. Build Info and (Current) Version Information: OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700x RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro x8GB Mobo: MSI Performance Gaming x470 Plus MSI Dragon Center: 2.0.28 Razer Synapse: 3.5.116.10714

Just a quick and easy question, does this MoBo, https://pcpartpicker.com/product/46CD4D/msi-b450m-pro-m2-v2-micro-atx-am4-motherboard-b450m-pro-m2-v2, work with MSI mystic light. I want to have it work with the rgb on the MSI GTX 1660 super gaming x but idk if it supports. If not, what are my alternative for a board?

So, I finished my first build the other day, but I'm having trouble syncing the cases rgb(fans and strips) with the mobo. The case(Gamdias Talos P1A) says it supports it, and I have the hub on the case hooked up to the jrainbow connector on the board yet nothing is showing up in Mystic Light. The mobo is an MSI x570 gaming edge wifi. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi all, so i have a MSI B350 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard which has RGB capabilities, by default the RGB lights are set to red which works with my build so i never really messed with it until today. When i downloaded the software and tried to launch it (after a pc reboot) it gave me a prompt that said "This platform is not supported" and won't launch the actual program despite my motherboard chipset (B350) being listed as supported on the website. Thanks!

Is there any RGB fans and equipment that show up in stock motherboard software? Everything MSI makes shows up in mystic light everything Asus makes shows up on Aura sync. A lot of brands claim to be Aura sync and mystic light compatible but still require their own software to control the RGB? EVGA AIO requires its own software. Thermaltake riing fans claim to be in mystic light compatible require their own software as well. I know Corsair makes a controller and a ton of compatible skus what is there anything that you can buy like a pcie riser card that would allow the system itself to control RGB functions? Doesn't even have to be addressable RGB. What would just allow independent channels of control. Currently I'm using a Silverstone RGB hub that feeds off the motherboards 5050 header. But it requires everything that's plugged into it to be the same color. Cooler Master makes a hub that has four separate channels but requires its own software. Sorry for the long winded post I just know there's a lot of modders that would like to be able to add RGB to a system that doesn't support it or to have more control over rgb

I have a B450i-Gaming Plus AC, there are 2 RGB connectors near the top of the board, I have some generic 12V RGB LED strips that were originally meant to be used with a wall plug and controller box but If I plug it into the board it stays white no matter what I set the colour to. I also noticed the board always reports there is something plugged into the RGB headers even when nothing is plugged in. I tried both ports and both have the same issue.

Hello, I have an H100i platinum water cooler from corsair for a liquid cooler, and an MSI Tomahawk B450 as a motherboard. I never really used the MSI lighting until recently, but I cannot find how to sync it with the Corsair iCue. If anyone could help me that would be great, I'm not sure if it matters but the setting that my water cooling has is the Color Pulse. I just want to get that easy +20 FPS if ya know what I mean.

I am currently using the Corsair Spec-Delta RGB Mid Tower case and I am using the MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max Motherboard. I have all my case fans (The fans that were included with case) plugged into the jrgb header through a splitter what came with case. All fans light up white at boot then switch to red when it gets past post. The MSI Dragon Centre mystic light does not show any fans. Does anyone have any ideas other than getting the commander node?

I don't know how to describe it. I'm actually not sure if it's the software. The problem is that suddenly all the RGB lights just shut down. I didn't notice at first that I have no more RGB light up on my fans, my cpu liquid cooler and my x570 MSI MB. Dragon Center works ok, MSI Mystic Light opens as well and it shows me that all patterns are set as before. I verified and found that there was a new bios version, so I installed the new version, I tried reinstalling Dragon Center and Mystic Light again, but the problem persists. I repeat - the software looks fine, tho I don't think that it is possible that all rgb lights just had a short or something. I hope it is something with the drivers, but I don't know what to do. I also tried turning on and off rgb control from the bios and restarting in between - it didn't help. Been 7 years since last build, would like to in corporate RGB lighting and getting very confused, hopefully some can help me order the correct products. MSI X470 Gaming Plus MB AMD Ryzen 5 2600X CPU 32G Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro Ram Samsung 970 EVO 250GB M.2 PCIE WD Blue 3D Nand 500GB SSD 6Gb SATA III Cooler Master ML120R CPU Cooler Thermaltake Core V31 Case Radeon RX580 8GB Graphic Corsair HI750X PS The memory need no additional hook up for RGB. The cpu cooler requires JRAINBOW1 and I am planning to use 4 more fans and that's where i get lost, I was thinking of Cooler master fans or Corsair which some models are compatible with MSI's Mystic Light. Just don't know, Do I need a separate controller? Do I daisy chain or what do I do? I would appreciate any advice thanks Jack
