Built a new PC as my old one was having a ton of issues likely being the motherboard either due to it's age or a bad PSU I had to RMA. I just built this new PC and everything runs amazing except for the Bluetooth Dongle brought from my old PC. When plugged in the audio in connected earbuds crackles and distorts (even worse if a controller is simultaneously connected) and it even makes my PC occasionally lag/stutter with the mouse lagging and a weird rapid beeping noise. These same issues happened in my old build, so it has to be the adapter, right? Is it possible that connecting this likely faulty dongle damaged my new PC? Is there a better Bluetooth solution for multidevice connection? Hi! I've got a particular problem with mouse delay/lag which all of a sudden, sneakily, increases after like say 30 minutes on-time after booting. It's not consistent how long time it takes, but it always happen. Just after getting on when booting, there is no noticeable delay, but after a while it's crazy sluggish. This happens with all mice tried. I'm afraid it's the the GPU strugling which makes it happen, but im hoping for an easier fix.. System: - Mobo: Asus Deluxe z170 - GPU: Radeon HG 7950 (Old I know.. not crazy about buying any GPU these days..) - CPU: Intel I7 6700k - PSU: Corsair RM850x - Drive: Corsais Force MP600 - Ram: Some 2x 8Gb (cant remember exact) - Mouse: Logitech G502 Lightspeed (not that relevant as it happens to either mouse connected..) - Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G7 27 inch 1440p (perhaps gpu-monitor issue... ?) Worth to mention, the monitor is the newest part and im rather confident the issue was not present before I got it. I dont need crazy resolution or FPS, i mainly play CS GO, so if reducing any settings would help I'll be open to it.

Hi, so my pc freezes and audio stutters a lot whenever there is high internet usage regardless of the application used(game, software etc). I experience a lot when playing games like apex or valorant but the issue is not limited these alone, it occurs when watching a high quality video online as well. I usually the pause the video for a while or restart the game after the Ethernet graph in task manager falls to 0, doing so will sought of give me a grace period where I can play or watch without the freezing issue for abt 30min or so(sometimes way less or more). I observed that this only happens when there is high internet usage, casual browsing and usage doesn't give me an issue. My PC specifications - OS - windows 10 20H2 64bit CPU - Ryzen 5 1600 GPU - GTX 1660 - 6GB RAM - 8GB MB - A320M-S2H PSU - cooler master MWE 550 The problem became apparent after I updated the windows to 2004 version, and it persisted even after updating to the latest version. The network drivers and all the other drivers are up to date(expect bios). Any idea what could be the problem?

ok so today i started having all sorts of issues with my mouse depending on the polling rate. in most of my games especially the source engine ones 1000hz just isnt really unusable (titanfall 2 is straight up unplayable, everytime i move the mouse the performance goes down dramatically even if i use 500hz), the cursor will appear if the mouse is being moved too fast and flicker and go to my other monitors, basically making faster flicks impossible because itll click on my other monitors. 500hz makes it better kinda. so yeah i havent had this issue ever until today. i have a i7 9750h and 1660ti, 16 gb ram. before i had been using and the issue started happening on one of the windows insider builds because i needed it to fix an issue with the refresh rates of my monitors. but i am currently on windows 10 version 20H2. i have uninstalled and reinstalled my usb 3.0 root things twice now. i have checked for drivers but couldve missed some. i do not know what could have caused this to start happening. does anybody have any idea what to do. im thinking that my best bet for a fix is to backup some files that cant just be redownloaded and just factory resetting. i also tried my old mouse that can do 1000hz and same problems. pretty sure it isnt a hardware issue, at least in the mouse itself. PS. I don't want to just lower down to 250hz or 125hz. I have been using 1000hz for a year now and dont want to downgrade to lower because of an error especially because i recently got a high refresh rate monitor so the lower polling rate is way more noticeable now.

So i manage to upgrade my pc from ryzen 3 3200g and 8gb ram into this new spec : - Motherboard : Asrock B450M-HDV (old) - CPU : Ryzen 5 4500 (new) - RAM : ADATA DDR4 XPG GAMMIX D30 2x8gb 3200mhz (new) - GPU : XFX Radeon RX 6600 (new) - PSU : Antec ATOM B650 - 650W 80+ Bronze (new) And i have this weird problem where : 1. Mouse cursor "lagging" when in desktop, gaming runs fine without any problem. 2. I cant shut down or restart my pc normally. After screen goes black, hardware like GPU, CPU, and PC fan are still running so i have no choice other than force shutdown thrugh pc shutdown button. This 2 problem happen when i use the adrenaline driver (both optional and recommended version) BUT when i use the enterprise the 22.q2 or "22.10.20-220524a-380149C-AMD-Software-PRO-Edition" (copy from regedit), those 2 problem were gone and i manage to do everything just fine. anyone knows what cause this problem ?

Hi all, I've been having a problem with my pc the past few months where every so often at random times my mouse cursor will lag out and be really choppy on screen. This doesn't affect the overall FPS of my system, just the mouse cursor. I've tried different mice but it happens on both my Logitech G502 hero and my random wireless amazon mouse I have. I doesn't seem to be an issue with any one part in my pc as none of them are overworked when it happens. It often happens at start up, but also happens during normal web browsing and gaming. It started after I recently upgraded my cpu, ram and mobo from an old i5-4460, msi h81m-p33 mobo and 8gb of corsair valueselect ram. I am running windows 10. I've attached a video I captured of it happening as I was writing this post, you can see task manager in the background has nothing overworked, and the fps of my wallpaper in the very back is unaffected. My specs are: Ryzen 3600x MSI B450 Tomahawk EVGA GTX 770 superclocked 2gb 16gb corsair vengeance RAM 128gb patriot burst ssd (boot drive) 1tb Seagate Firecuda 2tb hard drive (toshiba I think but I'm not sure) Thermaltake Smart 750w PSU Please help if you have any idea what this might be! Hello, I would like to ask for some help with a very unusual and frustrating problem I experience with my new build. I received my pc parts and built my new pc just 5 days ago and since then I am on the verge of depression. I experience extreme mouse lagging on windows 10 almost continuously, I have different wired and wireless mouses but the problem is the same. It is a problem I never experienced before with any of my builds. The problem appeared directly on the first boot onto windows 10 and I panicked. I installed all necessary software but it was there. I updated the bios to the latest and reinstalled windows 10. All this at stock CPU and RAM speeds. Installed AMD chipset drivers and had the AMD balance power profile and disabled every privacy setting in the control panel Moving the mouse across the screen was 80% and 20% of the time the pointer would be stuck and then start again. Also I hear the CPU fun raving up and many times if not always the lagging occurs at the same time although the CPU usage is just 0-1% but I definitely see the problem more pronounced even when I have heavier CPU usage I started looking around for a solution and started testing the parts. CrystalDisk was flawless. Cinebench was also fine multiple times. I then followed instructions from some forums and turned XMP profile 1 on but the problem continued although it was kinda better performance that at stock settings. I then managed to overclock the CPU from my bios to 4.3 MHz all cores but I had still the same mouse lagging issues. Every game I tried was littered by this weird mouse behavior. Total war same. Battlefield V had 60 fps continuously but aiming was a disaster. I then installed Counter strike were I had almost 250 fps yet again the game would lag/freeze just few milliseconds every time I tried to shoot/aim. I then tried to further optimized my bios settings according to this thread ( LINK ) But still I experience the same problem. I took away the one RAM to work with single RAM but no difference. I changed my M.2 drive to another slot but no difference. The only noticeable difference came when I activated XMP but the problem is still there but not so big. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? Is there any solution? I am desperate. My build : Amd 3900x on stock cooler, Aorus Master X570, G-skill Trident Z Neo 3600 16x2 GB, ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER ROG Strix Advanced, Corsair RM1000i pw supply.

Team, i know similar issues have been posted before but I'm trying to rack my brain around this issue. I have a corsair scimitar gaming mouse that as of late will cause massive cpu spikes when moving the mouse cursor. It is noticeable when streaming video, and very much so when playing games. I'd hate to think its the mouse as this issue hasn't happened until recently. I have tried reboots, driver re-install, killing and uninstalling CUI 2.0, factory defaulting the BIOS settings, checking my monitor input settings, using a different mouse, ect. So far the only fix seems to be re-installing windows, but that is a temp solution and one that is not worth doing everytime this occurs. System Specs: Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 5 z270 mobo firmware v6 Intel i7 7700k boosted to 4.5 16gb of Gskill trident z RGB 3200Mghtz ddr 4 ram Gigabyte Gaming 1 Gtx 1070 Windows 10 64bit pro running a samsung 850 evo ssd for OS boot drive and WD 2tb platter drive part of me thinks this could be an input issue with the board, but would like to exhaust other options.

Hi, So I recently got my brand new pre-built PC from amazon.com, I turned it on, everything worked, until the next day. The next day I turned it on, I was experiencing "mouse lag". This problem is getting me to a point where I'm going insane. I cannot find a actually fix for this problem, I have tried 3 different mice already, all wireless. Haven't tried wired yet. So if you could help me get this problem off my hands, that would be appreciated. My specs are: Processor: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor Video Card: AMD Radeon (TM) R7 360 Series RAM: 8.0GB Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit Sound Device: AMD High Definition Audio Device BIOS: Default System BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. V25.1 I really don't know how to get the rest. Sorry! Here is a video of the problem. Problem actually starts at 0:35 2017-04-14 08-06-15.mp4

Hey guys as of recent when I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 1700 (W Mobo and 16gb of Ram) I have been having mouse studdering issues or mouse lag... This problem will consist of me moving the mouse slowly or fast(but when I do it fast it doesnt happen as often) then it takes a pause then catches up to my previous movement also creating more lag. As a person who plays FPS games this affects me like CRAZY making flick shots while sniping 10x harder to do. I have: Updated Drivers Uninstalled Cortana Even reinstalled Mouse drivers But I have no idea whats going on!!! (FYI im using a G403 which is a pretty godlike mouse so I dont know whats going on)

I just finished getting a new pc put together (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/96677h) and everything seems to be working fine, but the mouse will start lagging super bad for a couple of seconds at a time. I have already updated all the drivers I could think of and updated the BIOS (which did let me get my RAM to 2933), but the mouse issue still persists. I am running out of ideas, I'm thinking of getting a new mouse, but am not sure if that would even resolve the issue given the current mouse works fine with my laptop.

I'm having a very noticeable mouse lag when my CPU usage spikes up to %100 or between %90 and %100, this happens when I open a project in visual studio, or when building a project, or when rendering a gif, so different operations, same problem. The weird thing is it doesn't happen when I'm doing stress test with AIDA64. My specs are: OS: Windows 10 64 bit, build 1703 CPU: Intel i7 7700k @4.8 GHZ Ram: Corsair 2x16 3000 MHZ GPU: Nvidia 1080TI My cpu is overclocked but I don't think it causes this, because I had the same issue when I didn't overclock the CPU. All of my drivers are up to date and there is no unknown device in device manager, so how can I find what is causing this lag and fix it ?

Hi, I have been having this problem for a while now, where basically when I have a high cpu usage in task manager, i have alot of mouse input lag and mouse input just not happening at all. This all happens when playing games, mainly fortnite, pubg and gta v. I also notice that when I alt+tab to look at task manager the game can only be taking 50% to 70% of the cpu, with very little in the background. I have a little bit less fps before, but I am currently being cpu bottlenecked, which i never had before. Im not sure exactly when it started and cant pinpoint what triggered it. Since then i have slightly oc'd my cpu from 3.5ghz to try and fix but no luck there (it is stable and havent had to increase voltage). At the same time i increased ram from 2400 to 2666. I am really having trouble trying to fix this, all drivers are up to date, gpu drivers are on the latest 'optional' drivers as an attempt to fix. Ill post my system specs and get a video of task manager in a game right now. My mobo is a MSI B350 PC MATE. UPDATE: while writing this post i had one fortnite game which was ok, not much input lag although a low fps when there was lots going on. I did note the cpu temps were normal, around 55-60 however I couldnt see anything else. maybe it was just the location of the map or something. i run at medium and low settings, normally achieving my 144fps max for my monitor. I dont use vsync, just the fps cap setting. back to the normal input lag now. Sorry if its unclear, I will answer any questions and if you need any more info just ask. I would really appreciate some help forum mouse lag task manager.mp4 i

This mouse inconsistency had totally runied PC gaming and even normal use for me(and others that I know having this issue) and is one of the wierdest problem I have ever experienced. It has been over 4 months for me and couple of years for the people I met on the forums and contact everyday and this problem seem to have no solution. I hope I can find some insights here. I will try to keep it short. Feels like my mouse is alive. The responsiveness of the mouse keeps changing from time to time like it goes from feeling snappy/sharp/responsive to super laggy/floaty/slowing down through the day. Next thing is after around 30 minutes of gaming mouse gets progressively worse and worse/more floaty and floaty. Leaving PC idle or closing it for few hours seems to help restore the mouse responsiveness. Or opening programs for ex:Chrome, other apps or changing windows 10 settings, disabling device manager things we do not need, changes the smoothnes to better but it Comes back Again. The point is Every change we make Mouse responsiveness goes to better, but never consistent. This is not placebo being a competitive CS GO player I am very sensitive to mouse/keyboard. Things I have tried to solve the issue: I have already changed 80% of my hardware only remaining things are RAM, Motherboard and PSU. I have already tried things simple logic tells like turn off acceleration, changing usb port, different mouse/mousepad, temp monitoring, completely reinstalling Windows and testing with only drivers and 1 game to rule out any OS/Software problems, checking loose wires on motherboard, updating every driver to latest, bios settings and other thousands of fixes. We have a dedicated forum on Geforce Forums where there are many users with exactly same problems we have tried many many fixes for years which includes electrical, software, hardware and BIOS. The link will be posted at the bottom. We are literally on verge of giving up and very desperate for a fix by now, a solution to this would literally help hundreds of users struggling on Geforce forums we tried brainstroming among ourselves for years we tried every crook and cranny we can think of but now we have nothing left to even try anymore. So, I am representing the problem here seeking expert advice. NOTE: This issue is not only in games, it is also affected in Windows. Steps taken to resolve the issue. [Even without this steps mouse should work perfectly] : 1. CSM ON/OFF (BIOS) 2. Intel Speedstep/Amd Cool&Quiet OFF 3. Legacy USB ON/OFF; 4. xHCI ON/OFF; 5. Asmedia Chipset/Intel ON/OFF; 6. Tried Legacy/Uefi installation of Windows; 7. C-states OFF; Turbo Boost(Core); 8. XBOX, DVR, Cortana -> OFF (Trough Settings and Registries); 9. Updates of BIOS/UEFI; 10. CPU/RAM overclocked/default; 11. Changed Mouses/Surface(All of us Wired); 12. Power Options Tweaked to Max performance; 13. VSYNC is OFF in both OS/In-game Trough Nvidia Control Panel and Games Video Settings; 14. Tried all of the ports in the PC; 15. Diconnected everyting except Mouse and Monitor(Always the same issue); 16. Plugged PC directly to Outlet(As always any change made mouse movement better for a while but it comes back eventually); 17. Took Whole mobo out of the case and same problem as usually; 18. Generic Drivers from Microsoft/Manufacturer ones installed Manually; 19. Disabled Every Power Saving feature in Windows and BIOS/UEFI; 20. Tried 125/500/1000Hz pooling rate; 21. Mouse Echaced Precision Pointer in Mouse settings is Unticked; 22. Applied Mousefix From MarkC; 23. And on and on and on and on, I can't even remember what else we all have tried to eliminate the issue; 24. Temperature/Usage of CPU,RAM,GPU,HDD is normal, It never Spikes; 25.Checked the Health of HDD, It is healthy; 26. Ran Memtest86 5 times, none error. (OC/NONOC); 27. Formated Windows 10 Dozen of times.(Wiped all Drives); 28. Tried LatencyMon(Green values); 29. And on and on and on and on, I can't even remember what else we all have tried to eliminate the issue; My PC specs: MOBO:Asus X370 Prime Pro; GPU: Asus GTX 1060 DUAL OC 6GB; RAM: Kingston HyperX Predator 3200Mhz 2x8; CPU: Ryzen 1700; PSU: Cooler Master VANGUARD 750W+ Gold; HDD: WD10EZEX Blue; -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We Appreciate your time and effort for helping us. Issue: I'm having an issue where I have a lot of mouse latency, as simple as it may be, it isn't a problem with the mouse itself (Check the next paragraph), and this was happening with my old PC as well as my current one which I recently bought, it started happening around in January this year and everytime I start my PC I notice the lag, and overtime it gets worse and worse but sometimes it's normal, so it's inconsistent. What I've tried: On my old PC I've tried reinstalling Windows, buying two separate mice, rolling back and updating drivers, but no luck. When I noticed it happening: It started happening when a graphics driver installation for my old PC failed, so I tried restarting and reinstalling but it was still persistent so that was what lead me to think that my drivers caused it, but I felt as if it was also a problem with the PC itself, as if perhaps maybe some components have caused this as I felt that they may have been damaged somehow, I was not able to figure out which component(s); so I bought a new one but it still occurs, so now I can't blame it on the components nor the running programs or stored files. Also even if I were to record and show some footage of this, it won't be noticeable to the viewers because it's something that only I feel when I move the mouse, this is especially because I'm on a 144hz monitor (C24FG7x - 1920x1080@144Hz) therefore it's a lot clearer to me, and this also affects when I play games too (Mainly on a game known as osu! which requires precise aim so I know if there's something wrong especially when comparing my self to something before the lag) My current specs: Windows 10 Home 64-bit Intel Z370 (BIOS: AMI F.14 21/02/2018) Intel Core i7-8700 3.20ghz 16 GB DDR4 (2400 MHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB GDDR5 10th generation Pascal (Driver version: 391.35 - Latest) 2 TB HDD, 7200 rpm - Seagate Barracuda 2TB SATA 3 Internal Hard Drive 256 GB SSD (Boot Drive) - INTEL SSDPEKKF25 500 W My old PC's specs: Win 10 Pro 64-bit ASUS H110M-D D3 (BIOS 0603) i7-6700 @ 3.40GHz 2x8GB Kingston HyperX Fury KHX1600C10D3/8G @ 1600MHz (10-10-10-30) NVIDIA GTX 970 4GB 1TB TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 550 W I'd be very grateful if I could find a solution in this thread.

Hello guys, i recently bought the Dell Inspiron 7577 with the GTX1060 in MaxQ design and I am encountering one strange problem. Its the 256GB, 16Gb, 7700HQ Edition running on Win 10 1709 - latest drivers and Dell Bios updates. Here is the issue: Opening something, clicking the right button, opening a new tab, everything results in a micro mouse-lag. If i dissable the Nvidia GPU in the device manager, the problem disappears at all. I dissabled everything in the Experience menu but still, with activated Nvidia GPU the mouse lag will consist. If I activate the "use only the deticated Nvidia GPU" in the Nvidia control panel, the problem will consist. Same with the Intel one. Here in Germany the new 7577 is not very common at this moment, so i did not find anything here. Kind regards

I've been having issues in almost every game where the screen jitters/micro stutters and it's as if the mouse is skipping pixels. When I move using the 'wasd' keys the edges of the screen are smooth and objects/textures render in perfectly. However, when I turn using the mouse objects/textures at the edge of the screen stutter when loading in. When I aim down-sight and try to make micro movements it skips pixels, making it very difficult to aim. If I move the mouse diagonally it's as if there is aliasing with the cursor. I have tried lowering the sensitivity in-game and using the mouse DPI and vis-versa, both have only made the issue marginally better. I have tried with acceleration on/off as well as motion blur--both did little to help. I have changed the refresh rate and locked the frame rate to both 60 and 144, neither has made a difference. The issue also occurs on my second monitor. The only game that this does not occur in is Arma 3. I've also tried briefly using a regular computer mouse and the issue was still present. Any ideas? Watch this video and you can see the issue/differences between games: Specs/Equipment: Asus VIII Hero MB 16gb DDR4 Ram EVGA GTX980 ACX 2.0 I7 6700K Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse Main Monitor: Asus VG248QE Secondary Monitor: Samsung S24D590.

So I was sick of using windows 8.1 and GTA V not working on there. So I decided I might aswell try windows 10 preview. The good news is, GTA V works again. Bad sorta semi bad news, is that there is just a tiny bit of mouse lag Which I didnt have in windows 8.1. It's really annoying when I play games like counter strike. I have Vsync turned off in both nvidia control panel and ingame so that is not the problem. I have enhanced pointer precision off in windows settings. My Mouse is a Razer Deathadder Chroma which is allways set at 400 DPI. Thanks in advance for the help guys.

So I've noticed this issue pretty on and off for Windows 8 but I wanted to bring to light this problem and have more people be knowledgeable about it. In Windows 8 specifically there is an odd bug that from my knowledge has yet to be fixed. It causes Mouse clicks to not register Mouse pointer to be stuck in a game or window Alt + Tab combination to stop functioning Right click menu will not appear Unfortunately I have yet to find a solution anywhere on the net, presumably because Microsoft has moved on to 8.1 and soon to be 9 development. Anyhow here is the fix for 8.1 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2908279 and the how to geek post as well. http://www.howtogeek.com/175722/how-to-fix-mouse-lag-in-pc-games-on-windows-8.1/ INB4 use different ports/mouse and keyboard ETC. This is a Windows 8 issue!
