Hello, Looking to get a monitor arm for a Lenovo R45w-30 44.5. Apparently, it weighs: 12.1KG (~26.6lbs) Vesa: 100 x 100 Curvature: 1500R I prefer gas spring arms. Similar to: SilverStone ARM14 Single Monitor Arm (Or any other brand equivalent), but I'm not sure if this one supports the curvature). Budget: $80.00 USD Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks! Jeff

Hi all, I'm really lost for ideas to test at this point. Any ideas would be amazing! Overview: Using latest Asus strix laptop (2023, I9 / 4080) as a desktop replacement. The system is set up connected to external Samsung ody8 4k monitor + all peripherals (KB/Mouse/Mic/Headset). The system is set up in performance and or turbo mode, and always plugged into power. **The laptop is configured to only show monitor 2 (external screen). have not changed and or modified any color management programs native to the laptop or Asus issued apps. Issue: randomly the color or visuals on the external monitor go vivid and warm tones are exaggerated. When i grab a test window and drag it to the laptop screen it refreshed the window only* (blinks once) and the color on said window is normal tone again. and vice versa. Temporary fix sometimes: I noticed when i do a clean reinstall of the latest Nvidia drivers, this can sometimes fix this issues for a while. sometimes like today it does nothing but waste time. I've Tried: new HDMI cables, different monitor ports, restarts, driver reinstalls, checked all color management app or locations in widows. I'm really lost to why this happens, I'm sure its a driver issue. but where is it going wrong. and why is a temporary clean install fixing it? I feel like there's a color profile changing somewhere but i cannot seem to find a clear path to or if that location exists. Please tell me I'm not alone here haha. Cheers Daniel.

Hello everyone! I've finally upgraded my good ol' trusty 1060 6Gb to a 4070 Super and it's also time for a monitor upgrade. I'm currently using a BenQ 1080p 60hz monitor and I'd like to upgrade to a 1440p preferably 27" but I have no idea what is good or not. My budget is 300~€ maybe 350€ if it's really a must have. I also got some links from the website I'm gonna purchase one with some of the popular ones in those specs and the price that I would be able to get it at. Dell G2724D - https://www.skroutz.gr/s/44193295/Dell-G2724D-IPS-HDR-Gaming-Monitor-27-QHD-2560x1440-165Hz-me-CHrono-Apokrisis-1ms-GTG.html - 317,90€ LG UltraGear 27GP850P-B - https://www.skroutz.gr/s/40949513/LG-UltraGear-27GP850P-B-IPS-HDR-Gaming-Monitor-27-QHD-2560x1440-165Hz-me-CHrono-Apokrisis-1ms-GTG.html - 346,55€ Gigabyte M27Q - https://www.skroutz.gr/s/25624235/Gigabyte-M27Q-IPS-HDR-Gaming-Monitor-27-QHD-2560x1440-170Hz.html - 324,31€ LG UltraGear 27GR75Q-B - https://www.skroutz.gr/s/42623796/LG-UltraGear-27GR75Q-B-IPS-HDR-Gaming-Monitor-27-QHD-2560x1440-165Hz-me-CHrono-Apokrisis-1ms-GTG.html - 294,00€ I'm open of course to other recommendations and any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello, I want to buy a monitor, and I found these two, but I don't know which one to choose. If someone has experience with either of them, could you share your experience? I've watched some videos, but I still want your opinion as well. First is iiyama G-Master GCB3480WQSU-B1 (cant find it on amazon sorry) Second one is Gigabyte G34WQC A (probably this one LINK) If you think that both of them are the wrong choice, feel free to recommend a different one, but I have some requirements: 1. 34 inches | 3440x1440 | 144Hz/165Hz/180Hz 2.I don't care if you hate ultrawide monitors; I need one. Yes, I already have one at work, so I'm familiar with the aspect ratio. 3. I know my price is quite low, but it should have really small ghosting and response time. I understand that these requirements are high for that price range, but still, if you find something with a 180Hz refresh rate but noticeable ghosting, then I'm not interested. (165Hz < less noticeable ghosting) 4. My limit is 400€ and here EU market. Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I was playing F1 23 HDR for 1-2 Hours, shut down my PC and got some Food. After turning my PC back on, I noticed a vertical while Line of Pixels across the Screen. It is even streaking beyond the normal Display-Output of my PC, probably for Pixel-Shift Im guessing? I thought this was an issue with my GPU/Cable at first, but when I replaced the Cable and tried a different Output-Device it was still present, so I looked in the Monitor-Menu without anything being connected. - It was still there... Then I reran Pixel-Cleaning a couple of times and even reflashed the Firmware, all to no avail sadly, so I started an RMA with the Shop where I bought it. I also wondered if it was damaged somehow, but I did not see any Marks indicating Damage from the Outside on the Monitor. Has anyone experienced a similair Issue? Some Pictures of the Issue attached!

Yeah I know there are a lot of questions about this type of issue but I checked everywhere and nobody seems to have the same issue as me. So, I'm using DELL Inspirion 15 7559 from 2016 I believe. Today my screen got infested with thin, horizontal lines across whole screen, height and width wise. Those lines aren't any exact color - they seem like it's 50/50 darker and ligher lines... Or maybe half of them are darker and half of them is 'normal' brightness? I have no idea. They almost look like scan lines on CRT TV. No those arent black, green or whatever else. They seem to come up after few minutes of using the laptop - they arent there from the start. Those lines seem to get worse, dissapear by themselves and re-appear all by random chance. Also. Sometimes, but not always, I do see those lines appear when my screen goes black if i don't use the laptop for a while, then those lines kinda 'fizz out' as the black screen of screen saver dissapears and wallpapaer appear. It's first time using this forum for me, I will try attaching a photo/video of this. And no, they don't appear on screenshots. VID_20240311_195421 (1).mp4

Hii. I've noticed one of my MSI Optix G241 monitors has a screen issue. Sometimes tiny dot artifacts will take shape when something is open, upon minimizing or closing it goes away almost like it's a 'layer' issue. Does anyone know if there's a similar website or program to Jscreenfix that can run on the entire monitor and not just a tiny section? Or if this is just as simple as getting a new dp? Thank you.

I have done some research but can’t find a real definitive answer. Here is my question I’m needing a new Monitor for a system I’m finishing building. That Will be used For mainly gaming/streaming/3d editing ryzen 9 7900x, 4090 is it better to have a lower resolution like 1440 (240)hz or a 4k (60) lower Hz I have a few monitors in mind and not wanting to spend a ton of money at the moment 300-500 (want to get it running)

Im looking to get a 240hz monitor and was hoping for help and suggestions. Im looking for a 1440p, 240hz monitor with very good colour accuracy as I will be using it for light editing work and gaming, Doesn't require HDR and the editing is nothing fancy just short form videos mostly so doesn't need pro specs by any means. my budget is around 500 obviously id prefer to keep it cheaper if possible but willing to go up to 1k. Im based in Ireland if that helps at all for getting an idea for pricing. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this I'm new to the forum. Thank you for the help.

Hello I've got a problem with my pc it powers up and boots like normal just 1 fan doesn't work which it stays on for 5 minutes then at that point the monitor loses signal and all audio cuts out but the whole pc stays on keyboard and mouse RGB all on and no problems on the motherboard light up until I press reset it has signal then cuts out I try again and the VGA led on mobo lights up red at this point I've also tried 2 monitors and my TV and they all do it Specs not sure on all but can find out if needed I7 3770 I believe Gtx 970 16 GB ram P9x79 pro mobo I've taken it to 2 different computer shops the first swapped the GPU and it worked fine for a few months then it started getting the same problem again so I took it back and they didn't have any problem with it they bought it back and it didn't work so I took it to a different shop and they didn't get the problem but when they bought it back same problem again I've looked all online and can't find anything really except one person on Reddit who had the exact same problem including the shops finding no problems and it didn't happen to them and he said when he took it back the last time they found a defect my GPU was originally swapped out but that wasn't a brand new GPU it's just one the shop had put the back could this be defected the same as the first if that was the problem with the first? I don't have much money so don't wanna buy a new GPU and find it has the same problem if anyone needs more info I can find out for you I also have a couple videos of what happens if that'll help Edit I've tried using 1 stick of ram only used 2 of my 4 to test and I was wrong about my CPU it's actually an i7 3960x

I'm having trouble with getting my monitors to allow the refresh rate I'm looking for. I'm using a GTX4070 using DisplayPort running to my two GIGABYTE M27Q monitors. By my understanding I shouldn't be capped at 60hz refresh rate but yet those seem to be my only options in NVIDIA and Windows settings. I have made sure HDR settings are all off which seems to be a common issue, The only way I've been able to force a higher refresh rate is via the screenshot I attached. Does anybody have any recommendations or information to help me out? Thanks in advance. pc specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X win 10 pro 64bit Asus ROG Strix B550-F Nvidia RTX4070 corsair RM750e Corsair VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 RAM 16gig

My home had a power outage earlier today, and when I came home and turned on my PC one of the monitors is just a black screen. The power LED is blue like it's on, but the screen displays nothing and none of the buttons on the monitor respond. Tried unplugging and plugging it back in, the light just turns back on but the black screen remains. Unplugging the display cable also has no effect, but when I plug it in Windows detects a 2nd monitor and displays the correct model info in my display settings. Monitor is an Acer S231HL Is my monitor fried?

I have an i5 7200U with intel hd 620. Im buying a new monitor. I can squeeze every drop of fps possible from games and get 60-ish. even if my performance goes up, i will improve the graphics quality and bring it down to 60-ish. im not interested in fps above it in games. Should I invest in a monitor with 75Hz if im not gonna use 75fps in games? Will it be worth it for general use of the pc or for watching videos or anything? Im gonna be running linux for max performance and will play Minecraft. If 75hz is not needed, ill get a 60Hz monitor itself.

Need recommendations on portable monitors. Im an Engineer and don't need super color accurate screens ( I have my blue light filter on 24/7 feel free to roast me). I mostly want something that would work well for both on a plane and on a random table or desk. I'm not sure what kind of budget I'm in, but considering the other solution coworker have (see below) is about $500 Id think anything $200 and below would be easily approved. Some of my coworkers have the Xebec TriScreen (LTT did a video on this linked below) I tried a coworkers the other day and couldn't stand it. I am looking at other solutions to request. The one coworker who really liked the Xebec said he used it on a flight. Which I could see being nice since it doesn't require additional tray footprint.

Hello, this is my first time posting here and this might be a dumb question but just want to try to get a answer/solution to my monitor disconnecting and reconnecting breifly in some games and in this example it is minecraft. It is a 164hz LG Ultragear monitor and it will do this reconnect thing and then display the message "display port" input on the top right but it then locks the monitor at 60hz even though the game settings are *vsync off, unlimtited fps etc. However the only way I can fix this is by making my monitor reconnect manually, or by changing and turning free sync premium off and then on again which just reconnects the montior. Its hard to describe and I dont know why this happens. It basically just changes back to display port as a seperate input for just the game???, but when it doesnt recconect and keeps the same input and doesnt change/reconnect it works fine and the high refresh rate stays at 165hz. Its really confusing to decribe, and I hope some one gets it? I have attached a video to this too and I hope that shows this better too Heres the link to the video:

These 2-3 lines (horizontal, single pixel thick) have appeared in the bottom of my gaming monitor (AOC 24G2SP 24″ FHD IPS Panel 165Hz). The picture has been linked at the bottom of this post. They appear to be as green / blue, however, the color changes depending on what color the rest of the screen is. The lines completely disappear when the display is all white. I have checked all the cables, my GPU, and any other software related concern. The issue still remains. What could this indicate guys? Monitor was bought in May 2023. It's still under warranty, however I have lost warrany information due to moving places, and I live in a country where AOC does not have any "official" resellers, I got this through a relative coming back from the USA. I thought I did my research before buying it, but evidently not. The new Samsung G55A 32" monitor I have looks kinda bad. My older Spectre ultrawide looks better. I am thinking of returning the samsung and finding something better. I thought that HDR 10 would be a good thing, but I was wrong. 95% of content looks washed out and bland. My budget is roughly 400 maybe 500. I want something big, so 32" is pretty good. 1440p is as high as I can go with a 3060. I do not care about HDR because it looks pretty bad in anything that is SDR. I mainly use my PC for watching videos, playing games (RDR2, Portal, SotF) and creating scenes in Blender, so color accuracy is good. P.s I wish I could afford an OLED...

I just noticed a weird dot on my desktop. its like a white dot with black in centre. If i put my cursor on top of it, it disappears or is most likely below my cursor. opening apps like chrome or other games get rid of this dot. i use wallpaper engine and i have tried changing to other wallpapers, the dot persists. i have tried disabling wallpaper engine and using window’s default wallpaper, its still there. is it a dead pixel? or a hot pixel?

My grandfathers PC has been working just fine with this monitor for months. One day it flickers, and finally goes to simply stating “no hdmi input”. Monitor works just fine with other computers, even with the same cable. The computer works brilliantly with other monitors, including my personal Dell. For some reason his computer and his monitor simply refused to talk to each other. So finally we decide screw it, let’s buy him a new one. A Dell S2721HN. Same problem. Scans for signal, then says no hdmi signal from device. I’ve done driver updates and reset the PC’s Bios, all the windows updates, swapped cables, ports, the whole 9 yards. Still no dice. Short of buying him a new computer, what might I be able to do to get this thing working?

Hello I have a tv/monitor from Phillips and it has a big purple line down the middle. I was wondering if it will be able for me to fix it without taking it apart too much or even dealing with out of warranty experiences. model: 558m1ry

I have given away my old Dell U2414H. Need a replacement display for use strictly in portrait mode. I game only on my 27" 1440p 165Hz Gsync display 24" 1080p, flat, good for text, not glossy. Preferably better refresh rate or even Gsync compatible (idk if this will even matter) Which should I get? Dell P2419H, 60Hz, $111 Dell S2421HS, 75Hz, $140 MSI Pro MP242P, 75Hz, $140 LG 24MR400, 100Hz, with replacement adjustable stand, $140 LG 24GN65R, 144Hz Gsync compatible, $165 Some of them have Freesync. Not mentioning because staying with Nvidia and only the Ultragear (24GN65) is confirmed to be Gsync compatible If you have knowledge/experience with any of the models mentioned, do let me know. I am in South East Asia.

I'm in the market for a new monitor I already own 2 24 inches monitor and i want another one to use for color accuracy i'm planning on renovating my studio and using the 2 monitor that i have now for timeline and other stuff while the new one for the actual video Size should be 27 inches, better 28 Is mandatory that is color accurate and with 100% sRGB coverage as well as decent DCI P3 coverage. HDR isn't mandatory but good to have 4k is mandatory I've seen a couple of options but none of them actually check all the boxes. Budget is 300 bucks and i live in italy Used is an option if there's really nothing on the market https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/s2722qc#test_1381 https://amzn.eu/d/jeZBoAj https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/asus-tuf-gaming-vg289q-4k-monitor
