I currently have two Acer 24 inch 1080p monitors. I noticed that one of the monitors had this screen flickering issue (but not the second one). I just sent the monitor back to the manufacturer after trying the usual tests (using DDU to remove graphics drivers and reinstall, swapping cables, resetting monitor settings, etc.) as it was under warranty. Now the second monitor seems to have issues and I'm not sure now if it is the monitor or the graphics card or another part of my PC. Obviously I don't want to send anything back to the manufactures as I wont have a computer to use in the mean time but I have no idea how to test what the issue is. I dont have another computer to connect the monitor to (at least not one that can use display port to test it under the proper refresh rate). I'm not sure how or why but it does seem to be related to 3D rendering or activates when the GPU is doing more work. I attached a video of it happening immediately after I opened a game and alt-tabbed back here. It shows up in the video, but not as bad as it happens in real life. I built my new pc a couple of days ago and it started disconnecting from my monitor when I turn it on and leave it for about 30 minutes to an hour and in games its 10-15 minutes. My GPU idle temps are 40-50C and when I'm playing games its about 70-80C I checked my PSU it seems fine and my MOBO is also fine. I am using a HDMI (with 240hz monitor) because I don't have a DP just yet its coming later tomorrow. Its been happening for about 10 Hours now I'd say. Specs are: Zotac 1080 AMP edition Ryzen 2700x B450 Tomahawk 16GB DDR4 Ram Alienware AW2518HF Windows 10 PRO

BTW: THIS IS THE FIRST TIME STARTING MY FIRST TIME BUILT PC. My MG248Q(R) have always shown the message No Signal when saving settings and resetting in the BIOS. The weird part about it is that it has signal when it boots up because it shows me the signal, but when I am done with all the settings, save and reset, poof, signal gone and it sends me back to the BIOS. Quick specs I have a GTX 1060 Dual OC 6GB I have a Z370-A mobo Things i've tried Ive tried diffrent cables, such as Displayport, Dual Link DVI and HDMI 2.0 Ive tried plugging all these cables above into my graphics card and mobo. Tried disconnecting the Monitor for 30 secs n connecting it again. Tried unplugging and plugging in the video card. Trouble shooting for 2 days... Nothing works. i have a dual "monitor" setup a tv and a vga monitor and whenever i go into a game it seems to flicker with white bands going down it ive tried ajusting hertz

I've been battling with my computer for well over a year now diagnosing issues. It flashes lines on my screen, different color squares, black and white checkers, and almost anything else you can name. I sent back 3 monitors, two being the same kind before opting for a 4th different one as my final. I've also sent back five 1080 ti's, which have have all "failed" Zotac's testing facility. I am just getting back the 6th which "Passed." Don't even get me started on the nightmare they have been. I don't know whether my motherboard is potentially the issue and is corrupting the GPU's, or it is some other hardware issue. I've screen shared with a computer technician, and he is unable to see the issue when it's happening on my end. We've ruled it down to a hardware issue (we believe). I've sent in the motherboard, and it also came back with no issues. I've tested all four sticks of my ram individually. I've used onboard graphics to see if the problem persisted (it did). I've tried to use four other monitor cords (HDMI and DP) all which came with my two monitors and the problems persisted. Alt-tabbing is extremely slow and causes the screen to flash black and also sometimes flash lines. All of my drivers are up to date. Same thing with BIOS. I've tried 3 different versions of BIOS, a fresh Windows install, manually installing drivers, etc. all to no avail. I've found one other person with the same exact issue before, but it was back in November 2017. He never figured out the issue and stopped responding. I'm including a couple links with video of the issue happening. It has also distorted my monitor which did not go away instantly like in the videos. I got this monitor about 2 weeks ago? It was like this from the start but it wasn't really bothering me before now. It's more visible in some games and not visible in many circumstances. For example I fired up Minecraft yesterday to play with a friend and it was very noticeable there. Especially the loading screen was too damn obvious! Here's a screenshot I took: https://imgur.com/a/Mym7q8T All borders have this tint to them but not to the same extent these two borders have the most tint. Is this a common issue with curved panels? Or VA panels? Or should I contact Samsung and ask for a replacement or something?

Hello I currently have a 24" AOC 1080p monitor connected to my pc with a standard hdmi cable, but I want to upgrade to a bigger screen, perhaps a 4K one. I have been looking at this specific monitor https://www.komplett.dk/product/844525/hardware/skaerme/skaerme/samsung-28-4k-led-freesync-u28e590d But then I got the idea to run a dual monitor setup with the Samsung screen as my main screen, and the AOC on the side, but I encountered following possible problems with my idea: 1. Is it possible for me to connect to the samsung monitor to my pc with displayport and get the 60 Hz refresh rate? 2. Is it possible for Windows to run in 4k resolution on one monitor and 1080p on the second monitor at the same time, since my AOC monitor only goes up to 1920x1080? 3. I just upgraded to this monitor and I am getting weird blurry edges around entities and objects in games. In minecraft around blocks, to csgo around guns on the ground and other players. help please its really annoying. Help! I built my computer last year, and like to think that I know a bit about how to they work and how to fix them, or at least how to google my problems. But this time I'm lost, and a little scared for my PC. It's been working fine for months, but out of the blue, the monitor (actually it's a tv, if that matters) shows a black screen whenever I turn it on. The first few times, it would at least get to the login screen, or a blue screen with troubleshooting options, but now nothing happens. I'm quite worried, especially with midterms approaching and most of my study materials on my hard drive. I've checked that the monitor is working, and I've put the GPU in a different spot and it still doesn't connect. If anybody has any ideas, please help! Update: The only fans that are spinning are the ones on the GPU (Gigabyte R9 270X) and the PSU (Corsair CX 600w). The three case fans aren't working. Also, the power button on the case doesn't function. I'm feeling a little out of my depth. Should I just take it to a Microcenter or Best Buy and have their repair services take a look?

Ok so I have had my monitor for a while now and I recently bought Crysis trilogy and I am able to play Crysis 3 at full screen at my monitors native resolution but when i try 2 run Crysis 2 my screen will go black and i get the error message out of range. but this only happens with Crysis 2 when running direct X 11 mode at native resolution but when i drop down to direct X 9 mode at monitors native resolution it works fine. I have already tried updating to the newest Nvidia driver I still get this error. I got it before when i played max Payne 3 but i just re installed it then i worked fine. I tried to re install it and I still had the same issue. the weird thing is it only happens with Crysis 2 and Crysis. other games that don't cause an issue are {Metro last light, Metro 2033, Crysis 3, Garrysmod, Battlefield 3, Far cry 3} those games work fine for me.
