Hi there, I have a problem that I'm pretty sure can be blamed onto Windows 11 since it has appeared ever since I updated from Windows 10, and has been a persistent problem for months now. If I open any fullscreen app (usually a game), many times it will open (screen goes black) and then it will be minimized and I'm on my desktop again. The app is running, and no matter how much I try to go back to the app it keeps bringing me to my desktop. Sometimes the app opens correctly in full screen, but then if I alt-tab out of it and try to go back into it, it repeats the same thing, minimizes it and forces me on desktop. Usually when this happens, I have to close/crash the app and start it again, hoping the bug won't happen on launch. Sometimes I have to restart the whole computer to fix it. This has been a problem for many months, and I am running the latest public build - 22H2 OS Build 22621.2861. No updates have fixed it. The only way to get around it is to use the application in windowed fullscreen mode. But that is not a good solution because many games perform much better when fullscreen.

Hello, I have recently used ThrottleStop to undervolt my new laptop cpu. It works great. But I'm curious, how do I get it to start on boot up and more importantly how do I get it to minimize on startup to the system tray. There is a setting to minimize it to the taskbar but I was hoping to have it just in the system tray. Thanks

Hello, I bought a new computer like a month ago and didn't have many issues at the start. Im using the computer and usually when I close or minimize son program the whole computer just crashes, even though I can still hear sounds, such as from a Discord call, but no one can hear me. i912900K Asus ROG STRIX Z690-F GAMING WIFI Kingston ValueRAM KVR48U40BS8-16 DDR5 4800MHz 16GB x 2 (initially I only had 1 16 gb but I tried with 16 G and it still happens). WD Black SN850 1TB SSD NVMe M.2 PCIe 4.0 No heat sink Samsung 860 1TB SSD 2 x4tb hdd WD I think Gygabyte Aorus 3060 TI Im Using 3 1080 monitors. When I bought my computer I was using my old MSI 970 since buying a Graphics card isn't easy, but I got a 3060 TI like a couple of weeks ago. I think I had some crash, I think they started after chasing the graphics card but honestly im not 100% Sure, I will probably end up trying with the 970 but I wouldn't really like to return it, etc. Looking up some solutions in the internet I tried some stuff, and also updated the Bios to the latest version which I though I had already done, and It seemed to be fine. Before I just booted the Pc started minimizing and Maximing EDGE and it would crash really quickly, and after updating the Bios I stressed test everything and It seemed to work properly, left the pc on and went to have some dinner, and when I came back once again It crashed pretty quickly. Done some memory Test and Disk Check and everything seems as well. I guess I should also try Windows 10 but I understand this cpu greatly benefits from W11 and having to do a clean install of everything in W10 would be quite of a Pain but I will probably have to try that in the end. Also trying with the 970, but returning it would not be easy and just trying in case someone knows something else I can try. Not really sure what logs or info I can provide. Thanks

The Problem: Games that are set to any resolution other than the current OS resolution will not take over the screen (change the resolution and go full-screen). The screen flashes black like it changes, but then it is forced back to the OS resolution and the game gets stuck in the taskbar. Edit: this has been happening basically since purchase about a year ago. I usually just try to work around it, but that is becoming difficult. For example, Watch_Dogs Legion does not play at 60fps in 4k on this GPU. It also doesnt have a resolution scaling option to turn it down, so I can only run it at choppy framerates. OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Version: 20H2 OS Build: 19042.610 GPU Driver: 457.30 Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3800XT GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio RAM: 32GB(4x8) Corsair Dominator 3600MHz MB: MSI MEG x570 ACE MB PSU: EVGA Supernova 850 G+ Boot Drive: Samsung 970 Evo 500G BIOS: 1.A0 Running Software: Still occurs with all nonessential programs closed (So basically just windows). Have tried with services and background programs on and off, with and without geforce experience, even went though the trouble of removing windows game bar once to see if that was causing it.

Hey guys, I use Foobar2000 on a regular basis and recently it won't minimize and go off-screen unless I use the button on the top right of the program. As you can imagine this gets annoying, does anyone know how to fix without having to reinstall foobar? Or a way to save your Foobar settings and re-install? Thanks in advance

A Small Introduction to mincss Note: I'm a not experienced with Python. I have some general knowledge about it and some scripting experience with other languages as well as some programming knowledge in C/C++, but Python is mostly uncharted territory for me. So if anyone spots some serious flaw or something that could be done alot better, feel free to point it out (politely ) and I will happily correct it. I'm mainly doing this because I have found the info on mincss which is out there not very beginner friendly. That also means that I may not always describe the most clever way of doing things for the sake of preserving understandability. Having said that: What Is It? A tool which strips your CSS files of unneeded stuff. You give it a URL, it will download that and parse it. Be careful though: If you have a CSS file used for several pages on your site, it will mark stuff that is not used on the URL you've given as unneeded. Completely logical of course, but important to keep in mind. What Do I Need Python2 (not Python3, as of 2013-OCT-08) mincss, obviously lxml (a Python extension) cssselect (also a Python extension) PhantomJS is optional I'm trusting you can manage to install this stuff yourself, if you're on a Linuxmachine it should be in the repositories (it is for Arch as of 2013-OCT-08). Let's Get Started Note: I'm doing this on a Linux machine, if you discover something I'm describing here not working on a Win PC, please let me know. Start a command terminal and change into the directory where you have stored mincss' files. Then start a Python2 console. On my Linux machine I simply type python2 into the console and hit return. If it's worked you should be greeted with a screen that has three > at its left: >>>Then, type in the following: >>> from mincss.processor import Processor>>> p = Processor()This will basically load mincss into the console (yes, I know: a simplification)and initialize an object named p of type Processor. After that, you give it an URL to download and instruct it to process whatever it has found there. >>> p.process_url('http://www.yourdomain.com/')>>> p.process()This will detect any inline CSS if I understand things correctly, I have not yettried this out myself. >>> p.inlines[]And this searches the document for linked CSS stylesheets and puts the resultsinto an array, starting at index 0 (so, the first stylesheet will be located at links[0], the second one at links[1] etc.). Alright then, first we open a new filehandle for writing: (It is entirely possible mincss has some sort of integrated function/method for creating new, stripped down, files, but I have not been able to find anything on that so until informed otherwise I will presume it does not.) >>>filehandle=open('yournewfilename.css','w')>>>filehandle.write(one.after)>>>filehandle.close()And voilà, you should now have a new file of the name yournewfilename.css in your current directory.What Next? As said I'm no Python guru, and I only encountered mincss for the first time a day or so ago, so there's certainly some stuff missing from here, but it gets the job done which I think is probably at the top of many people's list. I've also read that it can do Javascript, but have not played around with that yet. If you wanted to automate this process, you could also write a script taking advantage of mincss, for an example see mincss' own examples here. Hi guys, Let's say I have two 120GB SSD's in RAID 0 (to combine both volume and speed), but I set that drive to be compressed. How would this influence read/write speeds? I copied a 5GB file there from a single SSD, and I saw it start out at 200-300MB/s, but then peter down to 50MB/s at 25% done, then kick back up to 300MB/s twice before falling back to 50MB/s. Just curious. I plan to use this drive to record gameplay video to, so I wanted to know how compressing it might affect the performance. And possibly the quality (720p24). Thanks, Vitalius
