Hi, i'm currently trying to use my huawei p30lite but the worn out battery, laggy ui and games , lack of updates are finally making me upgrade. I've considered a couple of options around 550eur.: samsung S23, google Pixel 8, xiaomi 13T pro and Nothing phone 2. If you have used one of these or any other in a similar pricepont please share your experience.

Hi fellas, trying to come up with a GPU to put in a build I am thinking of making. It's been a while since I last upgraded ( currently rocking i5-7600K with an RTX 1060), so I wanted to get something that could at least run things pretty decently on 1080p (maybe 2K). So far I have settled on an i7-12700K, onto an Asrock H670 motherboard. Got some new ram as my current sticks are at 2400Mhz. I already have all other parts (PSU, CPU cooler, case, fans). I am now stuck wondering what would be a decent GPU to get, hopefully one that does not demolish my wallet. I was thinking about a 3060/3060ti , but I am not sure if they are good value. Are 3070s worth the extra money, or are 3060s good enough? Hope some of yall have a good idea/recommendation. I've attached the parts I picked so far (prices in AUD)

Need suggestions for a decent work laptop. Though I say work, i don't mean a 2 grand workstations of course. I'm looking for something that HP envy esque, but with a decent performance and thinness. The only check box the envy doesn't tick is the screen. Is there any laptop that is decently thin (non gaming) and has a display with at least 120Hz? budget $1200~$1300 usd. what I mean when I say hp envy-esque: processor: i7 (or ryzen 5 or higher) ram: 16; ssd: 256+ graphics: anything would do as long as its dedicated (I don't play games but need to work on renders on blender, so suggestions on what would be better for that would also help!) webcam + sd card slot I work on photoshop and illustrator, so having a decent color accurate display is also necessary (FHD would be sufficient considering the budget) is this budget too low for what I'm seeking? or is there anything that has somewhat decent specs that I might need to look into? I should also add i'm looking for a higher refresh rate screen for the sole purpose having a smooth scrolling machine, my phone ruined me.

I'm starting University soon (Comp sci) and need to get a laptop for my classes. I already have a pretty beefy desktop at home for gaming so I don't need any super high specs, just enough to smoothly run the laptop without worrying about overheating it. I'm looking for something around $800/1000 CAD. I wanted to use the laptop as also my 2nd monitor so I'd like for it to have decent screen and maybe even touch screen with the folding back for a tablet feel would be a nice touch. I need help even finding some options that are close to what I'm looking for to start researching them. Any help is really appreciated.

Hi, I am planning to buy a new phone to Replace my almost 4 year old Nokia 6.1 plus. My budget is around $300 and There are so many conflicting choices and I can't decide. Here are some things I want and don't want 1. Must not have a mediatek or Unisoc processor at any cost. 2. Have a large screen preferably amoled (refresh rate doesn't matter). 3. If it runs on a custom UI like Miui it should have good custom rom and gcam support 5. atleast have semi decent build quality and should be able to survive a few drops.

Just put together a complete system, with the aim of not only using the 2100$ budget to build a complete system, with monitors, peripherals & OS etc. included, but also aiming for quality components by trusted manufacturers. Any Ideas for improvements or better parts?? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cfszGf EDIT: Left out the monitor, because at this point I am not exactly sure which one to get. I have settled on 1080p, because I do not care about 4k and all that jazz. If you guys have any experience with good monitors or certain models that you feel were a great buy, feel free to link them, I would love to check them out.

Given that Sony's Xperia Z5 will not get Android Oreo upgrade, is it likely that its price would fall? Under this, is it still recommended to buy Z5? If not, should I buy Xperia X? I don't like Xperia XA or XA1, and other models are too costly. I want to buy one from Sony's. Please recommend.

Guys, Need some suggestions for buying a new gaming laptop for less than $1500. Have thoughts about Asus ROG GL502VM, MSI GS63vr, Alienware 13 r3 or 15 r3. My choice is for GL502VM because of the price, Gsync display and accessories. Please hit me with some suggestions.

Hi Everyone, I'm planning a build that's mid-range that's mostly for gaming but will most likely be an all around rig (I do some video/photo/audio editing, coding work, etc). Originally, I wanted a compact build (Mini ITX) that would be easy to bring around but considering that I'm living in the Philippines, I don't think I can go with that option since during the summer it gets really hot and I'm worried my thermals will get too high so instead I'm at least going with a Micro ATX build. My budget would be around $700 max (without GPU) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 ($170) Motherboard: MSI B450M Bazooka Plus ($93) GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 4GB (Reused from old rig) Memory: G. Skill Trident Z RGB Dual16GB 3000Mhz ($130) PSU: Seasonic Focus+ 550FX ($88) HDD: WD Blue 1TB SSHD (Reused from old rig) M.2 NVME: Adata XPG SX6000 Pro 256GB ($52) CPU Cooler: ID Cooling Frostflow X 240 AIO ($55) Chassis: Tecware M3 ($33) I'll be reusing the GPU and HDD from my old rig for now but I'll probably upgrade the GPU somewhere along the way (or when the new Navi GPUs come out) Any thoughts if this build is ok? Or if there are parts I need to change out? Thanks!

On amazon the Surface Laptop 1 that has 8gb of ram, an i5 and 256gb of storage is only 700$, My question is, is that worth it in 2019? If not, what would be a good alternative? I'm a high school student and I just want something mid range to work for high school and college. My currency is USD and my budget is maxed at 800$ Here is the link to the laptop : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0716J3CYJ/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A2R67SAV3D4GE7&psc=1 If the above link takes you to one that is more than 700$, it is specifically the burgundy one. Thanks for any help!

PCPartPicker Part List First time building a PC. I'd love it if you could look over my parts and see if I'm overlooking anything. Purpose: I'm going to start my Masters in Engineering next year and I wanted to beef up my computer. While gaming is appreciated, I'm looking for something powerful first and gaming second, which is why my GPU is likely to be my bottleneck. Looking to spend somewhere in the realm of $1000. CPU: I plan to overclock the Ryzen 5 2600. I also wanted a water cooler mostly for the flex so that might be slightly mismatched. ¯\(ツ)/¯ GPU: Question, which would be better, a $200 ($180 w/ Google Express) XFX AMD Radeon RX 590 Fatboy OC+ or a $210 Sapphire AMD Radeon Nitro+ RX 580. I have heard very great things about the Sapphire Nitro RX 580 but I'm not sure if the RX 590 deal from today is a better one. PART LIST CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($164.99 @ Newegg) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - MasterLiquid ML240L RGB 66.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($69.99 @ Newegg) Thermal Compound: Arctic Silver - 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5 g Thermal Paste ($6.49 @ Newegg) Motherboard: Asus - PRIME B450M-A/CSM Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($88.98 @ Newegg) Memory: Team - T-Force Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($79.99 @ Newegg) Storage: ADATA - XPG SX8200 Pro 512 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($84.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ Newegg) Video Card: Sapphire - Radeon RX 580 8 GB NITRO+ Video Card ($209.99 @ Amazon) Case: Phanteks - Eclipse P350X (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($73.98 @ Newegg) Case Fan: Deepcool - RF 120 (3 in 1) 56.5 CFM 120mm Fans ($44.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Corsair - CXM (2015) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($52.97 @ Newegg) Keyboard: Logitech - G610 Wired Gaming Keyboard ($69.99) Mouse: Logitech - MX Master Bluetooth Wireless Laser Mouse (Purchased For $59.99) Other: Glam Hobby 600Mbps AC600 Dual Band USB WiFi Dongle & Wireless Network Adapter for Laptop / Desktop Computer - Backward Compatible with 802.11 a/b/g/n Products (2.4 GHz 150Mbps, 5GHz 433Mbps) ($12.98 @ Amazon) Other: Bluetooth USB Adapter CSR 4.0 USB Dongle Bluetooth Receiver Transfer Wireless Adapter for Laptop PC Support Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP,Mouse and Keyboard,Headset ($6.99 @ Amazon)

I am trying to figure out what all I need to put into a PC for light-to-medium CAD, light simulation, some editing, and a bit of gaming. The purpose would be to get me through undergrad college engineering and either be upgraded to a full blown workstation a year or so after graduation or repurposed into a general gaming station. I have looked into Digital Storm builds and PC Part Picker's builds but am overall very new to building computers Budget: I was looking to spend $1000 but seems unrealistic. Reality is $1250. Maximum I am willing to spend at this time is $1500. Desired: $1000 Reality: $1250 Maximum: $1500 My thoughts as to what I might want/need: CPU- Ryzen 7 3700 GPU- RTX 2060 Super RAM- 16 GB of RAM (2 8 GB sticks hopefully to be upgraded to 2 16s then adding another 2 16s in the farther future) SSD- 512 GB (Figure that should be enough) HDD- 1TB (maybe a 2 or 3) MB- Mother Board I have no idea with I know I would want something that I would at least not have to upgrade in addition if I tried to update my processor, graphics Card, or Ram. PSU- EVGA 750 Watt gold Certified (whether or not that is too much/little will depend on everything else I know but seemed good based off what I have been seeing elsewhere. I also do not know if it is imperative that I get a gold certified PSU) Case- No clue Cooling- probably not water cooling Any ideas on what I may be over or under spending on is welcome and of course all advice and tips. Also any ideas for auxiliaries would be appreciated

Current Build CPU: Pentium G4560 @3.50 Ghz GPU: XFX RX 580 8GB @1340 Mhz (Base Clock) RAM: Kingston 8GB @ 2133 Mhz Mobo: Asrock B250m-HDV PSU: CM Elite v.2 500w (80 plus white) SSD: Adata 120 GB (OS) HDD: WD 500 GB (games) Case: Techware F3 (Mini ATX with 2x 120mm fans pre-installed) Monitor : ED242QR (1080p, VA panel, 144 hz with Freesync) That is my current rig I'm rocking with right now and are planning to upgrade it. Gaming is the main purpose of my rig and most games I play is competitive games like CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch. With my current build, I would get around 70-100 fps in game at 1080p with mid settings in games mentioned above as my CPU is obviously bottlenecking my GPU. Would love some suggestions of any upgrades to achieve that crisp 144 fps. Budget is around USD $500 (for CPU+ Mobo+ mid tower case+ PSU). On a side note, I'm planning to switch my current PSU to Corsair RM 750 (750w, 80+ Gold, Full modular) before any upgrades. Any advice/ suggestions is welcome. Thanks alot !

I went from Nexus to OnePlus after the price jump, but the idea of getting the pixel software on a cheaper phone is really enticing. As the article states: Which is absolutely true. Unfortunately, Google is infamous for its wishy-washy attitude towards products and devices, and we may not ever see this make it to market, at least in its current form. There is also the possibility of a budget pixel cannibalizing the high-end, high-margin phone sales. After all, if the Pixel camera is so good because of the software, imagine what they could do with a midrange spec'd camera. That said, I'm rooting for Google here. If they release it and it isn't complete garbage (*cough*Pixel2Bezels*cough*) I'd bet a lot of people would be buying.

Hello guys, so i been trying to find a phone for a while now. The situation is bassicly like this. I bought huawei p9 lite 2 years ago. As good as it was its starting to really show its age. So i been thinking about getting a new phone for around 300€~ at most 350€. I will probably buy it in June/July so you can suggest phones thar release dates have been confirmed to be at the start of July or entire june. Now as for requirements. I would like some proper upgrade since iam running kirin 650 now dont suggest huawei p20 lite as its running kirin 659 which is bassicly same thing. I wont do much gaming but iam serious multitasker. So i would need a phone that could handle spotify/chrome/messanger/game at same time without a hitch. So iam searching somethinf with at least 3gbs of ram (minimum) 4 would be nice and phone that has better soc then kirin 65( or snapdragon 625. And i would like phone to have headphone jack prefferably without notch but not a must. Camera is not important at all main priorities decent cpu/gpu/battery.

Hey guys, am considering buying either the xiaomi mi 5 3gb ram or mi aa 4gb ram, both are amazing phones i know, in my country there is a flash sale for mi 5 so its cheaper than a1 by about 40 bucks now, I am torn between the 5.5 inch display, audio dac and stock android vs the ex flagship processor, fast charging and better build quality, what do you guys think? I don't play much games, my usage is mainly media consumption, chatting, social media, and web browsing. I do a lot of multitasking switching between apps.

I've had this phone for about two weeks now and I've noticed I am unable to get reasonable mobile (data) signal anywhere (UK), ie I can't send/receive texts, phone calls and I can't use my mobile data in nearly half the places my previous phone was able to. This to me is appalling considering my s4 and my brothers Acatel has ten times the signal this phone has. Now I'm not whining about it but it's just annoying, and trying to `fix' it following the Sony support is like walking into a brick wall and then forgetting the wall is there and walking back into it. So I get to the point of my post, has anyone else experienced this, and is there a way to possibly fix it?

I have come up with a list of parts that I will later add a gtx 1060 I don't need any ram,OS or peripherals. Should i make any changes to this build I want to play a lot of bethesdas games fully modded and battlefield and some Dayz. This will also be my first PC that ive built for myself. I have a budget of around $650 for all the parts not including the ones I listed above, I would build a PC now but my parents are making me save my $600 i have already saved up for my car so KMS .https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

Hey guys, I'm currently on a hp prebuilt pc that gets struggled on almost everything I want to do, and because I'm going to university, I wanted to build a new pc myself. I've already been searching in the available pages in my country, which is Spain, and found that prices are relatively high compared with USA ones. Also note that I'm building this PC in September, so some pc part may change. Right now I've seen this: MB: Since I'm not planning to get to GPU's, and wanted 1151 for the cheapest price but with some additional features like PCIex1, I've selected the Asus B150M-A D3. 70€ -- 77.50$ https://www.amazon.com/LGA1151-MicroATX-Motherboards-B150M-D3/dp/B013HIEWGE CPU: i5 6400. Not going to overclock, at least at short-term. -- 175€ -- 193$ https://www.amazon.com/Intel-I5-6400-FC-LGA14C-Processor-BX80662I56400/dp/B010T6CG7E/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1468345114&sr=1-1&keywords=i5+6400 GPU: This is where things get tricky. Obvious option would be the GTX 1060 or the RX 480, but the 1060 isn't out yet and the RX 480 8GB version is 300€ here which is around 332$ (no link since price is really high here) Supposing I get the RX 480 for 250€ -- 276.63$ RAM: Don't need to buy. I've got 16GB of 1600Mhz DDR3 memory and MB supports DDR3. PSU; Corsair CX550 80+ Bronze. Overkill, but just in case I decide to get a more power-hungry GPU. I Guess It'll be more than enough. 76€ -- 84$ -- https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-CX550M-BRONZE-Haswell-Modular/dp/B01B72W0A2/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1468346116&sr=1-1&keywords=cx550+corsair Case: My Corsair 100R is broken, so I wanted a beatiful but not expensive case, so NZXT S340 (white). -- 63€ -- 70$ -- https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Tower-CA-S340W-B1-Glossy-Black/dp/B00NGMIBUU/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1468346303&sr=1-1&keywords=nzxt+s340 Cooler: I'm not planning to OC, but I don't want intel's stock cooler bc it's loud as hell, so Cooler Master TX3 EVO. Easy. 24€-- 26.56$ -- https://www.amazon.com/Hyper-TX3-Cooler-Contact-RR-910-HTX3-G1/dp/B005HIRDUA/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1468346767&sr=1-1&keywords=tx3+evo Also I don't need hard drive or SSD's cause I already have. This will cost a total of 658€ (728.2$). Is this a good mid-range build? Suggestions are appreciated.
