Hello guys, For about 1 year I have been struggling with microstutters in Windows. This happened in Windows 10 with my old 9900kf, but also in a freshly installed Windows 11 with my new 7800X3D! The stutters occur everywhere, even if not a single Program is running in the background. The only thing I found that fixes it, is disconnecting my 2nd and 3rd Monitor. This is probably a Problem with Windows and the NVidia Drivers, but updates of both of them over the last year have not fixed anything for me. Does anyone know how I could get rid of it? Its so annoying than my whole PC hangs for half a second every couple of minutes... Thank you for reading!

Question regarding size! Hello, I am about to build my first PC! I have purchased my motherboard which is a MSI MAG B560M MORTAR. This is a Micro ATX motherboard, and I am about to buy a NZXT H510 elite and I'm wondering if it's going to look terrible as the motherboard is small. I was thinking about mounting my GPU vertically (2060) but I've heard its bad for airflow. I'm going for an aesthetically pleasing PC and I'm not exactly sure how it will turn out! Any advice or pictures of similar pc's would be appreciated!

I need some help finding a component on a Gameboy Micro. Its label on the chip reads "MITSUMI JAPAN 523 H PM C". I've tried looking all over for this thing and can't find it for sale anywhere. I know the Gameboy Micro was a pretty niche console, but there has to be one of these chips laying around somewhere. I've looked on Aliexpress and Digikey and a bunch of other places with no luck. It seems like for GB components you mostly find GBA or GBA SP stuff, and the parts are not the same as the GBM. I'm totally stumped, and buying another one on ebay or finding a replacement motherboard seems like a waste if I could just fix what I have with this one chip. In general I don't actually know what this chip does, but I know its important because it got destroyed on my GBM after getting water damaged and the console will not turn on whatsoever, despite lighting up momentarily when plugging in the AC adapter. My guess is that it has to do with power delivery to the CPU from the battery or something.

Background I built/upgraded this PC in July and had struggled to get the right timing on my RAM. Saturday I replaced the stock AMD cooler with the NZXT Kraken x73. Earlier this week (Monday) I attempted to overclock/tune my ram due to it never registering at the correct speed (showed as 22-22-22-53 1066MHz, not 16-18-18-38 1600MHz) using the DRAM calculator for Ryzen (As I do not know anything about overclocking). After a few failed attempts I gave up on the latency and settled for the 1600MHz with 22-22-22-53 before doing more research. I used Ryzen Master to overclock my 3900x to 4.350 GHz and had no issues or crashes after reverting the RAM. This was all on Sunday. Yesterday, I update my Nvidia drivers to the current version (v457.30) to get BO Cold War to run smoother. Today (Thursday) I noticed a stutter with my mouse and Bluetooth headphones while browsing YouTube. It began getting worse and worse so I uninstalled Ryzen Master and restarted my PC. The stutter went away so figured I had messed up with the overclock. However, it came back and appears to get worse over time. It's as if my pc freeze for a microsecond every second. It happens in and out of games. I've watched CAM and task manager while it happens but haven't been able to pinpoint the issue to any specific hardware. Can provide any needed information. I am not getting any BSOD, crashes or error codes. Games and programs run fine aside from the stutter which pauses typing, mouse, audio, and screen display. My mouse and keyboard are wired. I Had some assistance with finding the DOCP settings in my BIOS and reseated the ram. It started coming back after around an hour (As it had been doing all day but at least my ram speeds appear as they should at base) so I reinstalled my GPU drivers and the stutter remained. Ended up with a program called LatencyMon that checks DPC routines and I had one called wdf01000.sys lagging like crazy. After more seemingly endless hunts throughout the web it appeared to be a driver issue somewhere. I had about everything crucial updated but a lot of people were saying it was SATA related in their case so I downloaded Driver Boost 8 and it found some really old drivers from my old i5-3670K and i7-6700K as well as the fact that many of the small drivers I had installed were old as hell. Still, I had the issue. Someone else online pointed towards USB devices and after looking there it turns out it was a program used to link ASUS Aura and Razer Chroma together that just started bugging out like crazy and causing all sorts of driver issues. So if anyone finds this and is struggling with wdf01000.sys, check all of your drivers.

Hello, Been using this setup over a year without issues. Since I built a new pc I'm having a problem where my audio occasionally goes crackly and distorted, very sure the settings are the same. 2 examples of the bad audio buzzing/crackling Example 1: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tQ9zS8dSxsDfuX9qsXa38POFudhSbraD/view?usp=sharing Example 2 (sharp buzz): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jOrS0-qv3bTyh7EgKHL6NI3jbaOY2LGO/view?usp=sharing My old videos with the same hardware sounded much better: https://youtu.be/jORXrNYilGg Setup: Shure SM7b --> Motu M2 audio interface --> PC. The gain on the Motu M2 is set to just under max. I record with OBS with these filters: RNNoise: (noisecancellation) Marvel GEQ with these equalizer settings: https://i.imgur.com/uijhc4G.png 10.20 dB OBS inbuilt gain: https://i.imgur.com/vL6dYlu.png My theory is either one of my equipment are failing or that I'm doing something completely wrong with the OBS settings since the pc upgrade. I am trying to put together a mini/ micro itx build that will be used for my living room tv and my game room tv. It doesn't need to be an overly powerful gaming pc, just enough to play those random split screen games with friends and stream movies. I am looking to build a couple and want them to be small enough to not be an eye sore in open spaces. I'm located on the East coast and have a Micro Center near me. I am hoping to keep it under 1500 USD if not lower. The storage doesn't need to be crazy, at max being 1tb and NVME isn't a necessity either unless it fits the budget. No more than 60 fps is needed as the tv's don't run any faster than 60hz (with my current TV's). And obviously since I am trying to keep cost down I am not to worries about 4k or even 1440p. Any help on what parts/ components would work best would be much appreciated!

I am building 2 PCs and one of them will be a small form PC with a micro ATX case. Initially I picked the Fractal Design Pop Mini air but I was informed that it wasn't available in my country. The next best thing was the fractal design Fractal Design Meshify 2 but it's a lot more expensive. Can you recommend me a Micro ATX case with good airflow and space for 2 HDDs?

I don't know if I posted in the right spot but, I've got this old tablet that I want to get back up with what little things I have, material, tools yunno. The micro is port had kinda broke on the inside so I took the whole connector/port thing right off the board. I was wondering if I can just take this USB cable I have and wire it directly to the charging area.

Hi im a pc building enthusiast and i enjoy challenging myself. I one day decided it might be neet to have a micro ATX build inside and xbox (ORIGINAL) case remember ,the one that nobody remembers, anyway i was wondering on how one would go about this build if i could maybe use any parts from the xbox or scrap that and attack the case with a micro ATX. i would just like a second opinion fore i cant afford mistakes. thank you for your help

Greetings. I'm looking to rebuild my system into the smallest possible form factor without having to change out my components. That means I'll need to look for the smallest possible Micro-ATX case. I need it to- Fit a Micro-ATX motherboard, which should go without saying. Fit a 3.5" drive somewhere. Fit an ATX power supply. Fit a 273mm GPU. It's a full-height, dual slot card. I will personally prefer cheaper cases, but I'm creating this thread as much curiosity as need for a recommendation. I'm currently looking at the InWin 301; a 25-litre tempered glass Micro-ATX case shown off at CES 2017, and while I like how it looks, I would prefer something smaller. I'm drawn to the BitFenix Phenom Micro-ATX because it supports an enormous 230mm fan at the bottom, which should make for quiet operation. However, seeing as I intend to use a low-profile CPU cooler, it's a lot wider than I need. Restricted air flow can be dealt with, as my components don't run very hot. For reference, I'm running a Core i3 4160 (which I intend to upgrade to a Xeon E3 1231-v3) and an MSI GTX 960 2GDST OC. I look forward to seeing your recommendations. Regards, Aereldor.

Soon i will buy a mini or micro workstation size for content creation for my personal needs. Mostly working, no gaming. And need as much CUDAS i can get for Rendering software, like Thea Render (GPU+CPU), which works under CUDA engine... "i have saved some money to invest in this rig purchase". Factor/Options desire: - Mini or Micro ITX case. - CUBE format. - Best AIR cooling possible. - Don`t like Liquid Systems. I don`t feel safe. - Possible upgrades on future. (GPU, RAM, CPU) - Dust Filters - 2x SSD bay + 2x HDD bay (standard options) I have been looking for this examples, but i need some advise/expertise on this matters. http://infotechcomputers.ca/product/hp-compaq-pro-6300-i3-desktop/ Would I be able to transfer the parts into a V1 Core case, and use a 660 Ti with the transferred parts? I also know that I'd be needing a new PSU as well. So yeah, I just don't know if I'd be able to slap a 660 Ti onto this after swapping cases (if possible). Thanks. :}

I wanted to try building my own micro computer, and already have a Core V1 case, as well as a 660 Ti 2Gb. I'm not wanting to spend any more than $400 CAD (with 13% tax). I unfortunately have no idea as to what parts I should get.

I have an old 660 Ti and a TT Core V1, and had initially planned on buying used parts individually and then slapping them together for an ultra budget gaming computer. Unfortunately, Windows 10 takes up like, 1/4th of the entire budget. Because of this, I decided I'd buy a refurbished computer that comes with Windows 10, a 3550, 500GB HDD, 8Gb RAM; It's $290 CAD/$210 USD, so I'd say that it's a pretty awesome deal. If it weren't from a retailer that offered warranties and return policies, I would think it would have been too good to be true. ANYWAY: My question is this: Would this motherboard fit in a Core V1? The V1 is a mini case, but I don't know how to tell whether or not this is a micro or a mini motherboard. I also was wondering if this motherboard is even compatible with a 660 Ti. https://support.lenovo.com/ca/en/solutions/pd024422 Thanks. :}

Hello all, Building a compact form factor for my wife, just want to hear everyone's opinions. I am right at the budget she wants to spend on it, ideally if we can drop it down some, I am all for it to please her. I am shopping newegg only, so keep that in mind. I am up for changing whatever needs to change to make the best bang for buck. Keep in mind, I do want to keep the ssd, hdd, the additional fans, and the case. Here is the breakdown of the build thus far. Thanks in advance. I know Ryzen is out there, I just have been using intel for so long, hard to break me back to AMD, but not opposed. Qty. So, I currently have a full size case and I don't have enough room for it. For a new case I would prefer to keep it from overheating, although I don't plan on OC'ing anytime soon. I want something small enough to take to LAN parties pretty easily, and ones that either come with a handle, or have a strong enough roof so I can install one. I currently am running a mATX motherboard, 120mm high cooler for my i5 6600k, and a 1070 at a little less than 250mm, also full size PSU. I am not insanely rich either... "plz no 100+ dollors"

Hi guys, I am looking for USB/MicroUSB(both 2.0 and 3.0) cables that are long(greater than 5 feet), and durable. Most importantly, a cable that doesn't just die on you again and again. The purpose is to connect them directly to my pc and sit on the couch to play video games. I used to use steam controller usb, and it proved to be the highest quality of cable i've ever used. Something similar to that quality is what I'm looking for. PS. Any advice on usb hubs is also welcome.

So i'm looking for a good and as small as possible (while also being reasonably priced i.e around £60) that can fit all of these components inside https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/dhwtzM thanks

The aperture seems to only go as far as 1.4, but with the speedbooster xl, this should be larger by 1.3 stops. I checked the metabones website and the lens was not listed in their compatibility list, but they did mention that their speedbooster should work with most ef lenses. Does anyone know if the speedbooster just doesn't work with the sigma 35 or if there is something wrong with my speedbooster?
