Was recommended I post here by a friend after i could not find a satisfying answer after a few hours of googling as a layman. I've started getting around 1 blue screen a week, with the same error each time (Memory_management), i ran Memtest86 overnight and came across multiple error on test 10 and 13, but I simply do not have the knowledge and experience to analyse or understand the data, if someone with more expertise could help me help myself I would be eternally thankful. From what i can see; most issue are related to the exact same address and all 4 sticks failed the test, so to me that screams cpu or motherboard but i truly do not have the knowledge to make the call, all advice are welcome. I also followed the BSOD posting instruction and have provided both the SysnativeBSODCollectionApp report and the Perfmon report on top of the Memtest86 results. Here is my part list also; https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/bqDTPV I apologize for any grammatical mistake or unorthodox phrasing, english is not my first language. Thank you for any time you spend helping me untangle this mess, I would be eternally grateful. https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1ENGUUeeTe1pjWPm7Xmfx-Gy5ogBrZaxF Drive link to the results if the attachment failed, as a backup, or for people that end up here from google in 5 years. My brother upgraded basically everything in his PC except storage and GPU. His PC has since gotten A LOT of BSODs. I've had other things to do but has finally got some time to try and fix it for him. And because I'm not the best troubleshooter and I don't have unlimited time I'd hoped that I would get some information here about what the different stop codes mean and if they're pointing towards any specific part of the PC that might be causing the problems. The one quickfix I've thought of is just to format all his drives. If the problem still persists after that I would try to change his RAM sticks. But in an attempt to save his stuff I promised him that I would look in to the problem first, though he did agree that if the quickest fix was to format the drives he would be for it. The stop codes are: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (most frequent) CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED ---------------------- Stop code: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED What failed: FLTMGR.SYS ---------------------- Stop code: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA What failed: Ntfs.sys ---------------------- Are they pointing to something specific failing or are they just random stop codes? Thank you! Any help is much appreciated!

blue screen of death My PC has become extremely unstable.
TerraCraft64 posted a topic in Troubleshooting
As everyone on this forum is well aware, PC hardware is hard to come by now a days especially graphics cards and I must admit this is emotional for me because I feel like this PC died an early death and I'm not sure what killed it. It's not good for much any more and I built it back in 2018. It's got: Intel i7-8700K cooled with a Hyper 212 Evo 16 GB (2x8) of CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 ASUS ROG Z370-E Gaming A used EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4 GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Corsair AX860 I've been getting Blue Screens, DirectX and Graphics Driver Crashes, and artifacting, crashing, and lagging. I guess I'm just posting here hoping that maybe someone has any ideas, I've never overclocked it aside from XMP. Then I found from Linus' opinion that he didn't like how unstable XMP was so I disabled it. Later on I manually overclocked my RAM to 3000 MHz and increased the voltage to 1.34 volts as per corsair's Spec sheet. That cleared memory_management BSODs and then there were other BSODs. My PC constantly BSODs. Things I've done to try and mitigate it. Reinstalled Windows. Reseated RAM Reseated GPU Reseated CPU Unplugged and Replugged the power cables from PSU to MOBO I'm starting to think this PC is dead, the BSODs carry amongst my windows reinstalls and reseats. My CPU never goes beyond 70 degrees even when running prime95. Attached is a picture showing my reliability monitor. If you guys need any more screenshots I'll provide. I wish Windows error messages weren't nearly as useless and I could just pinpoint for sure what the actual problem is, but I appreciate any time you guys give me to help me pinpoint what hardware died. Thank you. -
Hi everyone, I'm having some serious troubles lately. I build my own system a few months ago. It all ran smooth without any troubles for a few weeks. But suddenly I'm getting BSOD's a few times a day. I reinstalled Windows, installed all (updated) device drivers but still getting BSOD's. After that, I ordered a new HD (Didn't assume the HD was causing the error but needed a new HD anyway) a Samsung 960 EVO m2. Installed Windows 10 but still getting BSOD's. I don't remember changing any specific BIOS settings, to be sure I did recover all the default options but that doesn't change the BSOD's. After that I tried to update my BIOS, succeeded but no result. I tried to disable some hardware devices on the device manager but can't seem to figure it out which is causing the BSODs. After some research online I tried to run the Windows 10 memory diagnostic, without any problems. I hope somebody can give me a push in the right directions because I'm kinda stuck in my options. Here's my system specs. Windows 7-64 BIT Intel i5 3550 @ 3.3 Ghz ( NO OC ) ASUS P8Z77-M Sapphire R9-Fury Nitro ( NO OC ) Corsair Vengeance 16GB @ 1333mhz ( NO OC ) W.D Blues 1TB X2 ( STEAM / Games / Other Programs and Software ) Transcend SSD370 128GB ( OS, Google Chrome etc nothing else ) So for some weird reason, today all sudden my PC started to BSOD and I can't even see the BSOD, my PC will just freeze black screen and restart itself, I only know it's BSOD because Windows informed me when the PC restarted. The only thing I did before this happen was Defragging my two Hard Drives, I have an SSD for OS Boot Up and I used Auslogics and I been using for Years and it was fine. Nope didn't had any update with it or anything either. ( And no of course I didn't defrag my SSD ) So when it first occurred was when I was watching a video on Facebook, all sudden BSOD. At first I thought could it be my GPU Driver causing it, so I've updated it to the latest AMD ReLive 17.3.1 and no go, was just playing Wticher 3 and it BSOD on me again. ( And as usual I did a clean uninstall and update, using DDU etc blah blah blah ) I check online alot suggesting could be a dying hard drive or something or maybe RAM faulty. So I used Crystal Mark Disk Info to check all my Drives are healthy. Same for my SSD. I even did the most basic by doing a System File Check via cmd. The only thing I didn't test was using MemTest86, not yet. What do you guys think it's causing the problem ?? Could it be a dying hardware ?? I do have plans on upgrading to RyZen but not so soon, and it's so sudden... Here's the crash report I obtained using WhoCrashed. I am having a "Blue Screen" problem with my computer. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Y7Jn27 All my PC components, except the Graphics card, are brand new and I keep getting a memory management error when I am playing games. I ran various stress tests updated all the drivers and checked the motherboard BIOS to see if anything is wrong. Everything looked good across the board but I am still getting this blue screen error. The only time I don't is when I either uninstall the graphics drivers(witch would cause games to crash constantly), or disable the X.M.P. profile on my ram. The only thing I could think of that would be a problem would be either my motherboard, the RAM, or the graphics card. If someone could help me out with this, I would be greatly appreciated Note: I will be upgrading to a 2070s once I have enough money.

Hey, so recently I built a new computer, and have run into some difficulties with Windows 10 seemingly randomly crashing. Although it doesn't happen that often, it still happens often enough where I'm concerned. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Is there a solution to this crashing? The exact error code that Windows gives me is: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT It fails to send information, and freezes at 0% while trying to restart. Set-up: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/m2FTzY My bios is up-to-date, although not all my drivers are. Also, I am using fuzedrive for AMD with both of the drives in my computer, however after talking to their support I'm fairly confident that it isn't related.

I've recently upgraded my CPU, Motherboard, RAM and case but since then i've been getting heaps of different BSOD errors with the most common ones being: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. I first got a BSOD while benchmarking a game and then i would get them whilst just browsing the internet. At first i thought it could be the drivers of my old motherboard conflicting with my new ones so I backed up my SSD and then formatted with the option they give you when choosing a drive to install Windows. I clean installed Windows 10 and installed all the drivers for my motherboard and graphics card from the manufacturer's website. (I tried updating the BIOS, but every time i tried flashing it via usb it would give the message "No image file detected". So i just left it). At first it seemed okay, but after trying a few games i started getting BSOD's again. They seem to happen more often when I play games. I ran chkdsk /r /f the other night and when it started checking, at around %12 in i would get another BSOD this time with 'CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION'. I've googled and searched for days but it's just too much for me, now I just have to throw my hands up in the air and ask for help from someone who knows better. Computer information: Windows 10 Pro 64bit Windows 8 (full retail) originally installed, upgraded to win8.1 and then to 10. OS installed a day or 2 ago. CPU, Motherboard and RAM only a week old. Graphics card i've had for 2 years and SSD is about 1 year old. So basically at the moment i can't afford any replacements at the moment so so thats currently out the question. My specs are in my signature. My computer is basically getting really random BSOD's. One week they could not happen at all then the next day i can get like 4 in a day. Some of the error codes i can remember are; IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_EQUAL MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and a couple of others i cant remember. However i don't understand whats causing it. I started on a pirated copy of Windows 7. Then upgraded to Windows 10. 2 Days ago i fresh installed W10 and now running a fresh ISO boot of Windows 10. Every single OS and config has caused the BSOD;s and i dont know how to diagnose it. Memtest fails to spot anything. Startup repair, nothing. Windows Installation Repair, Nothing. Someone help. Please. It's really beginning to piss me the fuck off.

I recently built my first PC, specs listed below. Everything worked great for first 3 weeks then started getting server kicked from counter strike global offensive games the only fix being that i could verify the integrity of game cache. As these got more frequent i started getting blue screen crashes with the MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error listed. First i thought windows may have corrupted my SSD which i had windows 8.1 installed on and a few games like CG-GO and LOL. Yesterday i wiped my SSD and re installed windows and i have had two blue screen crashes one with the error code of MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and the second being a NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM, and countless game crashes saying windows has detected a problem. I've only just started taking a interest into PC gaming and building PC's so my knowledge is still quite little. But any help would be greatly appreciated. Hello everybody! I need a little advice, from you. This is my question: can I make this setup below work, or do I need to get new memory. I will try to describe my problem briefly: My system specs are: - OS: WIN 8 PRO 32bit (currently, but I've tryed with the same results the 8.1 PRO 32bit and 64bit) - MB: MSI MPOWER MAX Z87 - CPU: Intel i7-4770K with stock cooling - PSU: Thermaltake Tough Power XT TPX-875MPCEU 875W - Memory: 6GB 2000MHz DDR3 Geil Evo Kit SPD:9 (3x2GB) - GPU: Gainward GeForce 560GTX 2048MB GDDR5 PCIExpress Originally I've had different MOBO and CPU, but due to MOBO problems I had to switch. And problems started to apear after changing. BSODS, mostly MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. This is a link to my skydrive with a few BSOD-s and a systeminfo.txt: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=21C0DF87182C64F2!785&authkey=!AN3CCMBJ8nkojqw&ithint=folder%2c.dmp A tried to figure out the problem with no luck ( on microsoft site and msi forum), I can provide link to those if you need. In those I concluded, that the killer network driver was/is the cause, but no. So I returned my MOBO and CPU to the store for them to test, and efter 3 weeks they said my memory isn't compatible with my MOBO. I noticed, that on the MSI homepage of the MPOWER MAX Z87, memory support lists only 1.5V memory modules, but mine is 1.65V. Can I raise the voltage on the memory and call it done and stable? Thank you for you time and possible answer , Best wishes: Attila
