So ghost recon wildlands dropped today and I've read that it's a good game to play with friends, however I've also seen the trailers for mass effect Andromeda and first impressions seem to be quite good, as a university student i can't really afford to buy both so if you had to choose one or the other which would you buy and why? EDIT: i do have friends that already own wildlands

Has anyone pre-ordered from here before? ME:A is currently £33 on there so that's much cheaper than anywhere at the moment. I want to get it on launch day, so I don't think it will be much cheaper anywhere else at launch. Origin has is it up for £50 on pre-order at the moment. I just wanted to know if they are trustworthy enough to actually have the key on launch day?? Hi there guys, I found this forum through YouTube (Linus' Channel) I am in my mid-30s male and I am completely new to computer building - I specifically made my own computer to play Mass Effect: Andromeda. I posted on EA's forums but you usually don't get a response there I think the audience is younger and sometimes they even give incorrect advice. In any case the issue I was running into with Mass Effect's early access on Origin - I seem to be able to play the game and then all of a sudden 15 - 20 mins into the game the graphics card will hang and the game will crash (no error messages) it will just exit to the desktop, I will post my setup below as I have a few more questions, as I am going to be throwing more money at the problem to fix it, tomorrow I am buying a ASUS RX 480 - 8GB and another 8GB of RAM. My system specs below: MoBo:........: Asus ROG Strix Z270F Kaby Lake ATX Gaming Motherboard Processors: I5 7600 (stock cooler not overclocked) GPU...........: MSI RX 470 4GB RAM...........: G.Skill RipJaw V DDR4 8GB OC 3600mhz SSD............: SAND-DISK extreme over 400MB read/write HDD...........: 1TB 7200 PSU............: Corsair CX 750M 80+ Bronze. I was running the game in high settings at 1080p HD. I was getting solid 60FPS (never below 50FPS) until it just randomly crashed. OS: WIN10 64Bit Pro. It is a clean install. My ambient temperature is 22 degrees C, and in HWMonitor my GPU temp max was 60 degrees C, everything else was in the mid 40s range or below. Will this game scale with multi GPU as I am going to buy the RX 480 to crossfire it with my RX 470 I know I will lose 4GB of VRAM.

Hey guys, Welcome back to another one of my builds logs! I'm happy to announce my entry into the 2017 Cooler Master CaseMod World Series in the MasterCase Maker 5t. It's a stunning looking case and I'm excited to work on it. I have a few interesting things planned for it, including some layout changes on the inside and a more unique water cooling loop set-up. I am calling this one Tempest and it will be based on the Tempest spaceship from the new Mass Effect Andromeda game. Gday all, with the up and coming Mass Effect Andromeda im sure people are getting keen, some people maybe doing another play thru. me personally id like to meet new people who love the game just as much as me. so all questions and answers can be delt with here, and also what will people be playing on, ? Xbox1, PS4, or PC (and if on PC, KnM or controller ?) if some people still like to play the ME3 multi, im always happy to play along, will be keen to test out MEA's multi, but after i play thru it at least once..... Biocharge, incin with a concussive shot should do the tick

I suspect the answer is no, but is there any way to rollback to a prior autosave (short of a manual save of course) in ME: Andromeda on the PS4, or is it just overwriting a single autosave slot every time?

Hello everyone. Having issues getting this game to run in Fullscreen. I have played it before on my system without any problems. But recently I am not able to play this game in fullscreen. No matter what I do my TV just will not display the image, now it's only using 1920 x 1080 @ 59.9 so there's no reason it shouldn't. Having reinstalled everything in various orders without success I have reinstalled Windows and even now it still happens. However at least now it will do windowed(borderless) and fill the screen. Recently swapped my RX470 for GTX 980, (cashed in on the mining craze). But it runs everything else no issue. Anyone else have any idea what I can do next??? Jim.

Gday all, back earlier this year i brought a RV04 Silverstone case. inverted case, which is great for me. i have nearly always had my computer sitting on my left. now when i first looked into this case, the one thing everyone complained about was... yes the "flimsy" door. ok SOO yes it has SOME but its not that bad, honestly its not, if you are opening it like a civilized human with 2 iotas of common sense and not being a complete drongo reefing on the bugger then you will have no problems. quick explanation here as to why it flex's and also why this isn't such a bad thing... Firstly its plastic, and is in a pursuit to save some weight, so its not super thick stuff. secondly its not coming to a squared corner, its rounded, this is allowing for some flex here. thirdly its not such a bad thing, have you seen what happens to ridgid plastic doors on cases, soon as it trys to flex a little, friggen snap crackle and pop no door no more. that shit breaks! moving on. the Case itself metal wise, mate!, i was a sheety for a company called Fabers toolboxes, anyone who knows them knows we had a thing for being good. so metal work is important to me, if its crap metal, wont touch it, if it has those poxy hook tabs on the side panel to lock it on the case, forget it mate thats just a problem later on. if the strengthening folds are done badly i dont want it... annnnnd so on so forth, i spent hours and hours looking at cases. i was looking at NZXTs and the silverstone 3 days later. now, one thing people kept saying other then the door, was .... you can not liquid cool a RV04. this is a lie, and over the next yr or so (once my ute "leona" is back on the road with a new gearbox) i will be starting a new build in this case. im going for a Red Build, Zen we shall start the water cooling build (haha Zen, get it haha... im funny damn it!) i will be posting pictures when i can start on this project. If you would like some ideas on how to do some metal work related things on cases feel free to ask, and ill help as much as i can (thou having physical object in front of me is always easier to work from) post a picture if you want to show issues and what not.

Good day! I am thinking about some upgrades and have been encountering some stuttering and framerate drops in Assassin's Creed Syndicate (unity doesn't even enter into this discussion) and modded versions of Skyrim and Mass Effect (1-3). During this, I noticed by GPU (GTX 1060 6gb) is hardly being used but my CPU (i5-6500, Evo 212 cooler) is maxing out. Am I hitting a CPU bottleneck, and if so, what would be a good CPU to go to? I'm aiming for 1080p and stable 60 FPS. I am aware that some mods cause unexpected issues. Thanks in advance.

Okay, so I can't seem to get Origin/ME3 to play ball with my GPU. I'm on a laptop with switchable graphics, so 'iGPU 630/dGPU Rx560m' System specs CPU - 7700HQ GPU0 - iGPU intel 630 GPU1 - RX560m The game will work with iGPU enabled, will not switch to dGPU, and disabling the iGPU in device manager results in 0 - 1 FPS on the title screen in ME3. Can't update to latest drivers either and am stuck on 18.5.1. Upgrading to 18.8.1 results in the the radeon setting app not even being able to find the dGPU. Ran the ME3Config Util, didn't seem to help at all. Probably missing something stupid, but what it is eludes me at the moment.

Hi I just joined the LTT forum because I need help with an issue that I have with Mass Effect: Andromeda. I know my way around PCs but this exceeds my knowledge. I am currently playing through Mass Effect: Andromeda. For 1-2 weeks now, the game has been crashing every couple of hours. Loud additional coil whine is audible when starting the game and when loading large 3D scenes. It gets a lot quieter after loading is finished. One time, the game crashed repeatedly after about 5 seconds in the gear select menu before landing on a planet (avoided by skipping through the menu and using it at a forward station). Crashes or freezes occur mostly in animated loading scenes. It even spontaneously restarted the entire system once. I have been using a reduced GPU OC profile for the game since, as well as testing no OC at all. It reduces the coil whine but barely helps with the crashes. CPU and GPU get 1-3°C hotter while running ME:A but are well within acceptable range. My PC is stable in all other games and benchmarks. I usually have barely audible coil whine. Any help is welcome. I find the game okay but I would still like to finish it without fearing that I am torturing my PC. System: MBO: Gigabyte Z170X UD-3 rev. 1 CPU: i5 6600k @ 4.4GHz, no added voltage GPU: Palit GTX 960 6GB @ Core 1466MHz, VRAM 3802MHz. No added voltage. (ME: Andromeda OC profile: Core 1421MHz, VRAM 3502MHz) PSU: Sharkoon WPM 700W 80+ Bronze semi-modular Storage: 120GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 3TB HDD Case: Self-crafted elegant housing made of select wood, constructed for simple design and pure function. ... JK, it's a black MDF box that I built. Sawed holes for fans, I/Os and PSU. Stuck my PC in there. Works. I'm happy.

Hi, I've done some Googling/Redditing on this, but didn't find any conclusive answers other than "it's a CPU intensive game". While running Mass Effect Andromeda on a variety of different graphical settings (ranging from medium to ultra, with variations made at times), the CPU hits and stays at 100% for the entire time that I am in game. Once I close the application, CPU usage drops. Full specs are in my profile, but I'm running an i5-6500 (cooled by a Hyper 212 Evo), GTX 1060 6GB (slightly overclocked), 16 GB DDR4, and going for 1080p, ~60FPS, at high-ish settings. Anyone else have any experience or details on this? I saw many posts where people with way better CPUs than me were having similar issues, so I don't know if it's a DRM thing like AC: Origins or what? Thanks in advance for the help; let me know if I need to provide more info.

I'll keep it short and sweet. If I buy Dragon Age Origins on Steam and I have Dragon Age 2 on Origin, can I still load my saves from one game to the other? Same with Mass Effect.

Hey guys! Don't know if this is the right part of the forum to post this but anyway here it is: I recently bought Mass Effect 3 N7 edition on Origin because I want to play throught the whole trilogy now that all the DLC is out. So I have all the story DLC for ME2 and I'll buy the ME3 story DLC soon. ME1 however is causing me some trouble because I can't for the life of me find where to buy the Pinnacle Station DLC. I know Bring Down the Sky is free so I can get that one, but Pinnacle Station isn't on Origin/Steam/Bioware Social Network except in the trilogy edition on Origin which is another 25€ that I don't want to pay. I have read around the Bioware Social Network forums and found out that EA removed Pinnacle Station from Origin a few years ago. I also tried EA live chat and that was...well useless.. Some random Indian who couldn't even speak english and didn't know the difference between Xbox and PC... So if anyone knows where I could buy it please give me the link or something. I just finished Assassins Creed IV and am looking for another game/series to play through. After talking with some friends I realise I may not have played some of the best games of all time. I know there is a lot of nostalgia surrounding some of your favourite games that you haven't played in a long time, try to push that aside. The games I'm considering are in the poll. What should I play?
