Hey! So, I've been using the Logitech G600 ever since I ditched the mouse that came with my old computer several years ago. I love it to death and particularly love the "third click." I have it bound to "r" so I don't have to reach and touch r to reload mid fight. Anyway, the point of this post is that I'm looking for a new mouse. I'd like to use my thumb. I know that the G600 has more buttons than I know what to do with (I think that's part of the problem, and I hate whatever type of switch they used.), but I want fewer, larger buttons. I particularly like Razer's implementation on their Deathadder and Mamba. I'm currently leaning towards getting the Overwatch Mamba because I'm a big fan of Overwatch (it's what I mostly play nowadays) and I like the buttons. I've heard that some of Logitech's other mice are really good though. Ideally, I'd like to take what I have, lower the left side a little, and change the side panel out for one with two side buttons with better switches (like Razer's). Is there anyway that I could meld two mice together without destroying both? Any super customizable mice? Are there any other mice with a third click that don't have 8 million side buttons? Any suggestions? For anyone who doesn't know what I mean when talking about the switches, Razer's are like the right and left click buttons. I don't really know how to describe Logitech's. They aren't squishy like a membrane keyboard but that's the closest comparison I can think of. TL:DR: I like my G600, but I wish it was a little smaller and had different side buttons.

I am deciding in which mouse to buy and am deciding between two razer products: Mamba Tournament Edition and Deathadder elite. Which one is better for fps games (like cs and such)? I've heard the mamba has sensor issues are they that noticable?

My Razer Mamba 2012 has stopped working when in wireless mode. It works fine when wired, and even shows that it is charging. But the second I unplug it from the cable it shuts off. It is the same when the mouse is on the dock. If the mouse is on the dock it shows that it is charging, but it turns off once I remove it from the dock. I have tried updating drivers, reinstalling drivers etc. but nothing has worked. The mouse worked fine a week ago since I have been away, but after coming home it is no longer working. (No one has been on my PC while I was gone). This guy has the same problem: https://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120208021429AATxjlW Thanks in advance.

Hi, i am currently using a wired G403 using the 3366 optical sensor but i am thinking of switching to the Razer Mamba for the RGB, adjustable click force and wireless. I am not sure if the laser sensor is good enough to flawlessly run at 400 DPI for semi competitive gaming.

Hi, guys! The day has come - my already quite damaged mouse has officially broken. I've been using it for almost 10 years and if the cable didn't become faulty, I'd probably still use it. It was an A4tech X-710F. I've seen many mice in stores, but I was never able to find any that was close to its level of comfort. But now I have to pick another one. For the past few hours, I've been using a wireless mouse from my laptop as a replacement. That was more than enough to make my make up my mind - I want a very decent wireless mouse. After some amount of in-shop testing, I've found one mouse that is quite similar to the one I've been using - Razer Deathadder. In Poland, it can be found cheaply online, but I wouldn't want to go wired again. I have bought a Razer keyboard around a year ago and I'm very happy with it and its build quality. I have a Razer mousepad too, so the branding continuity would be nice, but not necessary. Anyway, few moments of research later I've come across a wireless mouse that (judging by opinions and comparison photos) is almost the same in size and shape - Razer Mamba Elite 4G (because I don't have money for the 5G model). However, I can't be exactly sure about that, since I can't test it anywhere nearby, but I'll keep looking. There is also one mouse that I remember that I like and can get at a pretty good price, but I'm not sure that I'll like for longer periods of time - the Logitech MX Master. And so I'm not sure which one to choose or if there is any better at all :\ I deeply hope that you'll be able to help me decide! If you have some experience with those, want to share an opinion or suggest something else then feel free to do so! I don't care about RGB or branding - I want it to be similar in terms of comfort with Razer Deathadder (smaller is ok, but not bigger), new, if possible wireless, work for years and to cost around 65$ with a maximum of 80$. Huge thanks in advance, Thomas

So I am starting to play with some 3D modeling tools and often in them the right click and drag will change camera angle and Shift + right click and drag will pan. So i though i would assign SHIFT + Right Click to one of the side buttons on my mouse (Razer Mamba). Thoughts on how to do this. it can very easily so this with multiple key but not with a mouse. i have tried with macros but i just cycles through the commands. I cant hold it and drag.

Hello, I am looking at three mice in particular now. The Razer Mamba, Razer Ouroboros, and Logitech G900. I did hear that the Mamba has a sensor issue, but I see multiple sources with different opinions so im not sure, and I saw from one source that the ouroboros has connectivity issues. Are any of these things true? Out of these three which would suit claw grip the best for competitive overwatch? Thanks in advance for suggestions and opinions.

Hello, I am currently looking at Razer's Mamba & Lancehead mice and would like to know which one would you guys recommend. I have read something about Mamba not being good build quality and breaking after just few months use - is this true ? How is with Lancehead on the other hand ? Also, is it worth paying more and getting wireless options for each of them ? Thanks in advance !

so here's the problem, i just got a razer mamba mouse off of craig's list (not all of us are rich enough to buy these new) and the mouse works fine, exept for an issue with the side buttons: they both function as left click and i've tried everything i can think of to fix this so i can set them as like, a re-lode or melee. i've installed razer synaps and its not detecting the mouse, i've installed microsoft mouse and keyboard center but its not a microsoft mouse so it doesn't detect it, i've gone into the controls for my games and when i try to re-map them they just register as left click. the mouse is a 2012 razer mamba wired/wireless non rgb model. any help is appreciated

The scroll wheel on my Razer Mamba TE has recently stopped working. I've tried it on another computer and it still doesn't work, however, it looks/feels physically fine so I'm hoping that it's a software problem. Are there any settings stored on the mouse itself that could cause this issue?

Hello! So , my mouse is a Razer Mamba TE , and it has been a good mouse for the last couple of months. Thing is , the scroll wheel suddenly stopped working. I can't scroll up , down , left or right , but the scroll click works. Weirdly enough , on a different pc ( a laptop ) , the scroll up and down was working , but by left and right ( so , tilting the wheel to the left made the page go down , tilting it to the right made the page go up ) , up and down scrolling didn't do anything either. Tried re-installing razer synapse , tried completely erasing it from Device Manager and restarting , tried plugging it in different ports , nothing seems to work. To note : it was not caused by something like a drop . It suddenly stopped working while i was scrolling through a webpage. Can still scroll via wheel-click and up-down with the cursor , but , given it is for gaming , it isn't really a great fix.

Hi all, So last Christmas I got a Razer Mamba and it's been working dandy for like almost a year. A couple of weeks ago, it stopped working wirelessly altogether. I switch it to 'on' and unplug it but there's no light (unusual), and when I plug the cable into the charging station nothing happens, no illumination or signal. Razer's FAQ just tells you to call but I wanted to see if there was an actual solution. Thanks!!

So im looking for a new mouse to play games like Dota2,skyrim,l4d,some other rts games on but im starting to like csgo so just to be on the safe side i want a mouse with a good sensor and reasonable price.....after reading dozens of reviews of other mice the DA chroma seems to be the one with the most possitive reviews about the sensor and im not a big fan of razer either but this just seems like a good solid mouse and one of the few non overpriced razer products. So i went to my local electronics store and discoverd that the mamba TE was on sale ... about the exact same price as the DA chroma ..... ive never considerd the mamba TE from the start because of its price and complaints of having a worse sensor than the DA but then again ..... its on a discount and i would kinda like to have a sick looking mouse on my table..... my main games are dota 2/other rts and i wont be playing csgo as much as those games. So what do you guys think ? Should i go the safe way and go DA chroma or is the laser mamba's sensor not that bad and is able to handel csgo ?

Is there any mouse with similar shape like the razer mamba 2012? So the grips should be very deep!!!!!! (most important), like on the pic., and kinda same shape at all.

Good evening, I'm looking to buy a new gaming mouse. I have fairly large hands! I now have a Razer Mamba that is about 130mm in length, which is still too small. The G502 with it's 132mm is too small as well. I carry the mouse around with my laptop so i'd rather not have protruding buttons that can hook on any zippers. I don't care for any gamer bling, I do however want the mouse to perform adequately. And large enough so that I can palm grip it. Here's me palm gripping my Razer Mamba: Any advice would be appreciated.

So I bought a Razer Mamba about a year and a half ago, and have been using it on my secondary computer until last month with absolutely no problems wireless or wired. I was having issues with my main computer's R.A.T. 7 so I grabbed the Mamba and brought to my main computer and used it wired for a while with no problems. A couple weeks ago I figured I would try it wirelessly, as soon as I plug I the reciever in, Razer Synapse completely freezes and becomes entirely unresponsive. If I try plugging it in with synapse closed, then open it, the window doesn't even appear, the icon is in the taskbar though with no options available (no menu appears). I have tried uninstalling synapse, and removing any trace of it in the registry, then reinstalling, nothing was fixed. I have also tried updating the firmware of the mouse and the reciever, but the firmware updater doesn't detect the mouse (which I've read is not an uncommon issue) and the updater requires updating the mouse first. Realistically, I am not too worried because I've only really used a wired mouse when at a desk, so I'm used to it anyway. This post is pretty much just to see if anyone might have any recommendations/ideas to fix this... And don't bother just saying get a new mouse because razer sucks (Thats many people's opinion and I know that already, I like Razer.)

Hey guys, So I have been CADing for my school robotics team (FIRST Robotics challenge. I'm a mechanic on team 4253 International Tech Squad!). The touchpad doesn't cut it, so I am looking for a competent gaming mouse that is comfortable (as most gaming mice are) and at the same time high performance. I currently have the Razer Mamba, but I would like to keep that one in my house without having to unplug it from my computer every single morning before I head out to school. Any suggestions are fine! Thanksss
