  1. I ran some benchmarks (UserBenchmark and PassMark) and they both tell me that my pc is running below its capacity, compared to other similar PCs. More specifically, the problem seems to be with the graphics card. I have a Ryzen 5 5500 with a RTX 3070 (I know there is bottleneck in this configuration), but when I watch videos on YouTube of games running in this configuration, they all run much higher than I can get. Also, I recently installed the new Horizon Forbidden West, and I got an average of 40 FPS running everything on very low at 1080p. Something is wrong, but I don't know what else I can check. Any tips, suspicions? I bought this card at the beginning of last year, but it was used. It is a version of Gainward (Phoenix) that has LHR. Could it be that if it was used for mining, the graphics chip may be "tired" causing low performance? Is there anything I can validate on my own? Well, I did everything I could do with basic recommendations I received on Reddit. GPU Driver: most up-to-date possible (551.86). BIOS: most up-to-date possible F19 (AORUS B550M v1.3). All drivers updated. RAM XMP active. All AMD video drivers deleted (deleted with DDU). Resizable Bar enabled. I didn't notice any FPS improvement. As I said initially, I have no errors or problems, only extremely low performance for the GPU, given the comparisons with the same GPU + CPU combo that I researched online. Would anyone have any more tips or have gone through something similar that they managed to solve? To consolidate, below are all the links to prints and benchmarks that I have done so far: Passmark: https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V11/display.php?id=206562112913 GPU-Z: https://gpuz.techpowerup.com/24/03/30/hru.png https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img922/636/vkhjNm.png(Horizon FW in game prtscrn) https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/3243/RMF53e.png(3D Mark Demo - Print 1) https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/6237/WNtBQd.png(3D Mark Demo - Print 2) https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/7117/OxvFPP.png(3D Mark Demo - Print 3) https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/9027/GiM0d4.png(CPUZ) https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/3707/O63x0Y.png(CPUZ) https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img922/3862/wkGdzi.png(CPUZ) https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/1589/ydOwRg.png(CPUZ) https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/8166/28I7qR.png(CPUZ) GPU installation: Full picture of Mobo (AORUS B550M v1.3): https://static.gigabyte.com/StaticFile/Image/Global/883819369cb3d1be25acc0ba9d5e72ab/Product/32692
  2. Summary of Issue Short version Upgraded from GTX 1080 to Asus TUF RX6900XT and got a major performance drop in many games (low fps, stuttering and sudden fps drops). Full version I upgraded my GPU from a GTX 1080 to a Asus TUF RX 6900 XT and after that my FPS dropped considerably and some games started stuttering. List of games that were effected: Ghost Recon Wildlands, Vermintide 2, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Arma 3, Insurgency Sandstorm, Skyrim SE, Witcher 3 Wild Hunt and Sea of Thieves. All the listed games previously had a stable fps with 1440p 144hz monitor on high settings with the GTX 1080. Only games that got a boost were Overwatch and Control. Lowering settings in game improves fps only a little (still lower fps than with the gtx 1080). System Configuration Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (Noctua NH-U12S cooler) PSU: Corsair RM850 80+ Gold Display(s) (Make, Model and Type): AOC 27" 1440p 144Hz FreeSync (main monitor) AOC 24" 1080p 144Hz FreeSync System Memory: 16GB DDR 4 Dual Channel 2666 MHz GPU: Asus TUF RX 6900 XT SSD: Intel 660p 1TB NVMe m.2 OS (Version): Windows 10 pro x64 (Version: 1909 (OS build 18363.1440)) Driver: Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 21.2.3 Applications: Listed in summary Background Apps: Discord, Spotify, Firefox, Steam Radeon Software Settings: Instant Replay OFF, Anti-Lag ON, Radeon Image Sharpening ON, Enhance Sync ON, Surface Format Optimization ON Additional information: Updated Software: Bios, drivers (cpu and gpu), chipset, windows. I DDU old drivers and then updated with new ones. A-XMP is enabled in bios. System is not OC. Games are installed on SSD. GPU thermals are good. CPU thermals are good. Steps to Reproduce Launch any of the listed games Question is this software related (will it improve with future updates)? Why does my FPS drop when upgrading my GPU (how can this be resolved)? I will provide any additional information in need for troubleshooting. And before someone is going to ctrl+v "cpu bottleneck" can someone explain to me how I got more stable and higher fps with the exact same setup but with the GTX 1080. I am not tech-savvy enough to solve it on my own and I can't seem to find any solutions online in the forums either. I have noticed that many people have similar issues with the new cards and none of the provided solutions have worked. I hope this issue can be resolved because otherwise I am forced to return the card because at the moment its practically a useless 1800 euro downgrade. Thank you in advance!
  3. So I've recently got a 10700k and a ASUS Z490-E, up from a 7700k and a Z270-F which had roughly the same problem. The problem is is that with benchmark scores, whether overclocked or not, they are always quite a bit lower than other people's scores. For instance, 3DMark timespy puts me in the bottom 15% with similar hardware, and Cinebench R23 puts me at 1500 points below similar hardware. I'm wondering what could be going wrong. I'm running stock config at the moment to try and figure this out before I start overclocking. As a side note, my temps are well in below 65 under full sustained load, and no thermal throttling or power throttling according to XTU. The only motherboard options I have changed is enabling XMP for 2666mhz, but tests were ran before XMP as well and that barely made any difference. Any suggestions at all? Thanks. I'm quite stumped on what could be causing this on two separate processors and motherboards. Memory or power are my only ideas, but I'm no where near the rated limit of my PSU right now. FULL SPECS: CPU - Intel i7 10700k GPU - ASUS GTX 1080 STRIX OC Memory - Corsair Vengeance LPX 8x4 2666mhz PSU - EVGA Supernova G3 750w 80+ Gold Motherboard - ASUS Z490-E STRIX
  4. So I'm not new to PC gaming, but I only recently bought my first windows based laptop. Its a Lenovo Legion 5i 17" , configured with an i7 10750H & RTX 2060. Right away I noticed it's a completely different computer in terms of performance when running on battery. Roughly 75% CPU and 50% GPU when comparing to being plugged in. Trying to figure out if this is software based throttling , or a hardware power limitation (the power brick is 230w, so maybe battery can't deliver sufficient power to match?). I've tried everything software-wise I can think of (battery power settings, disable power throttling in local group policy editor, custom power plan, disabling "dynamic platform and thermal framework" in bios (this helped most but not 100%)). So my questions are : A) Is this a common issue for gaming laptops similar to mine? Would certainly want to know if my unit is defective in any way. B) Is there a safe/effective way to enable full performance while using battery? I know this would drain the battery extremely quickly but it would be nice to have the option.
  5. I am getting quite terrible performance in certain games, and below average performance in everything I've played so far. It is especially noticeable on GTA averaging low 50s when driving through the city. I went to YouTube and searched for benchmarks of my CPU/GPU combo and right enough my setup should be getting me well over 100 FPS with everything maxed on GTA. Firstly, here is my setup: Ryzen 5 3600 RTX 3060 Ti Corsair Vengeance LPX 2 x 8GB CL16 MSI B450 Tomahawk Max Things I have tried: Ensured I am on latest GPU drivers Uninstalled drivers with DDU Fresh install of GPU drivers Reseated the GPU Ensured power settings set to High Performance in Windows & Nvidia Control Panel Updated Windows Ensured RAM is in Dual Channel w/ XMP on (3000Mhz) Updated chipset drivers Updated BIOS Ensured Link Sate Power Management is switched to off Here is are my UserBenchmark results: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/39019226 Here is a vid demonstrating my performance on GTA Here is a clip of me playing Doom 2016, GPU usage sitting at low 40% never going above 50% getting 100-120 FPS. Here is a clip of someone playing Doom Eternal on the same build, 98% GPU usage sitting at around 160-190 FPS constant.
  6. I recently purchased a used RTX 3090 to replace my RTX 2080. This has resulted in a decent improvement in performance in somme games, but it is actually a lateral move in others if not worse. For background, my system has an i9-10850k (multicore unlock and turbo speed boosted allowing up to 300W draw under full load), a PNY RTX 3090 (linked at end of post), a Gigabyte Aorus Master Z490, 2x16GB G.Skill Ripjaws V 3200MHz cl16, SK Hynix Gold P31 1TB (system drive), Samsung 860 Evo 1TB (game drive), 34in 3440x1440 75Hz monitor (using DP 1.2). Running the heaven benchmark, my average FPS was within 4% of the values shown on a roughly similar system in this video (linked below). I assumed this would mean that my system was performing similar to a comparable system in most cases but this was the only example I have found where my system does not perform noticably worse that comparables. Below are specific examples: Timespy score: 17878 Six Seasons and a Game: This is a bit of a joke game, but the results I noticed were quite weird. I have previously run this on my 2080 and standing still, my average FPS was around 680. Doing the same test on the 3090 (standing in the same position, same settings) my average FPS is about 450. Granted both values are well above necessary, but I find it strange that my old 2080 is trouncing my 3090. I was wondering if this is some sort of optimization related problem. No Man's Sky: settings: monitor resolution, max settings, DLSS quality, ray tarcing enabled, standing on a space station looking at exit 2080 average FPS was 142 3090 average FPS was 151 Minecraft RTX: settings: monitor resolution, max settings, ray tarcing enabled, render distance 24, Neon District RTX map looking at front of swan 2080 average FPS was 61 3090 average FPS was 38 Notes: Vsync was disabled, The GPU utilization on the 3090 was only 38% whereas the 2080 was 99-100% Destiny 2: I ran multiple tests in this game and I found some strange results. The FPS values I found for a comparable system (linked below) show up to 261 FPS at wide 1440p ultra quality. Doing the same, I got 128 FPS on my 3090 and my 2080 got 142 FPS. Just to see what would happen, I dropped the settings to low quality at a resolution of 1280x720 and got 163 FPS, I did the same test again with only the render resolution changed (decreased to 25%) and got 169 FPS. Low quality at 1080p on the results I found gave 731.9 FPS and I was rendering well below that resolution at the same settings. I did not do the latter two tests on the 2080. The results that I found show a significant change in framerate as the resolution changes, as I would expect, but mine barely shows any change and all the values are well below the results I found online. I don't have the framerate limit on so I am not sure why my results were so low not to mention worse than my 2080. Note: my tests were done in the cosmodrome staring at the ships in the forgotten shore My motherboard bios was just updated and resizable bar is enabled. I do not have any software installed that can change the GPU performance (like MSI Afterburner). The average temperature under max load was about 85-90 °C. 7. Hi, I recently built a new gaming rig with the following specs: Ryzen 9 3900x, GeForce rtx 2070 super gaming x trio, Noctua nhu12a, 32gb corsair vengeance pro, TUF Gaming x570 plus, Samsung evo 970 pro 250gb M.2 ssd, 2TB seagate barracuda hdd, Corsair tx750m, I built it with the primary focus on gaming, yet i get really bad performance (e.g. max performance of 90 fps in Overwatch on high settings, consistant Frame drops in csgo and continuose game crashes in cod warzone) Its really frustrating since it cost me quite a bit of money. I would really appreciate if someone could help me out with this.
  8. Hello everyone! Hope you're staying safe throughout this quarantine. I've been gaming a lot lately and have noticed a huge decrease in performance with my almost 5 year-old i5 6600. It's paired with a GTX 1070 and 16 GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM on a MSI B150 Gaming M3 motherboard and I'm playing in 1080p on a 144 Hz monitor. Basically, my CPU is bottlenecking the GPU quite hard, to the point where games like Fortnite or R6S, no matter on what settings, the CPU usage is 100% while my GPU is chilling in about the 70-80 percents and even my discord stops working (it's stuttering and sometimes I can't hear anything from it, same thing for the people I'm talking to, I'm stuttering hard for them). Temperatures seem somewhat normal, my GPU reaches 80 degrees in full load while Folding@home and my CPU reaches about 75 degrees in full load in these games. Therefore, I decided to run Cinebench R20 and I'm very dissatisfied with the score, because when I looked up this CPU I found out that it should score around 1400. I should also mention that this problem started occurring some time after February of 2020, when, one morning, my PC just wouldn't boot up, the fans would briefly spin and then nothing. I had a friend come over with his PSU, connected it to my components, it booted just fine, then I switched back my PSU and it also booted. My PSU is an Inter-Tech Energon 650W, which I've read bad things about, but I'm not sure if it's actually the problem or not. Also, I've had some problems with my motherboard in the past, where it would underclock my CPU to 0.8 GHz and lock it there. To fix this I had to disable Intel Adaptive Thermal Monitor under CPU Features in my BIOS. With this many background issues, I can't figure out what could the problem of my low performance be. Has anyone experienced something similar or any other ideas about what the issue is? Sorry for the long post, thank you if you managed to read through it all or even just for checking out the thread! Stay safe. Stay healthy.
  9. Well, as the title suggests, my problem is simple. I've observed that when on battery, the GPU performs..well...not up to the mark. CS:GO, for example, performs quite worse than when being plugged in. Well, i know that the GPU throttles down to conserve power, but the GPU is the 940MX (4GB DDR3), and I don't think that is is that power-hungry. When plugged in, CS:GO returns a smooth 60FPS @ High/Vhigh at 1366x768 (native resolution of the Laptop) but when removing the charger reduces the frames by 20-25. Also, the integrated HD 630 (I5-7200U) don't spit out a perfect 60 at lowest setting (I honestly have no idea about its capabilities, but I think it can) Any valuable suggestions are welcome, and thanks in advance! 10. I have a i7-4720HQ 2.6GHz (x8 core) processor with 16Gb DDR3 RAM and 1TB SSDH (wd black) I'm having issues with low performance, long boot time and over all processing. The desktop is even laggy sometimes. So does changing the allotted number of cores would help me in anyway? Also, I have my memory usage and CPU usage is really high sometimes, for no reason at all and due to which my system is constantly revving for no reason. I've seen many systems (lower than mine) performing better than what I have
  11. I've been having issues with GPU usage in demanding games such as Battlefield 1 and Witcher 3. In Battlefield 1 my gpu usage drops as low as 50%, and I got fps as low as 35 during intense visual moments where usage should be at it's peak. I get max usage when benchmarking and get good scores, so it makes me wonder why my gpu under performs in games. My GPU temps are in the hover around 60-70C, and my CPU runs around 55-60c, so there shouldn't be any throttling. I've already tried: Clean installing windows and drivers Made sure nvidia settings were at max performance and windows was set at high performance Used the windows memory tool to see if my ram was bad, it wasn't. Sacrificing my roommates to Nvidia because i can't for the life of me figure this out. I'm going to put my friends card in my computer later this week to see if it is a hardware issue, since we both have 980 ti's. Specs: i7 4790k @ 4.7ghz MSI z97 g45 gaming MSI 980 ti w/ Nvidia reference cooler (1458 MHz, Memory at 3856MHz) The issues also were occurring before I overclocked it. 12. I've been noticing performance issues with my pc. These issues occur in all my games but I'm using Battlefield 1 as the main example. I have pretty poor GPU usage in Battlefield 1, which causes my frame rates to be less than what I should be getting with my setup. Sometimes dipping as low as 50 fps. Attached are afterburner graphs that were monitoring my system while I was playing. My Build: i7 4790k @ 4.7ghz MSI z97 g45 gaming MSI 980 ti Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb 8x2 1866 EVGA 750w 80+ Gold 1080p 144hz
  13. Generally I use my SSD(s) for most tasks, but due to the nature of my work i sometimes end up with a number of videos that means i have to store extra on my spare HDDs. I have 3 x 2.5" 500GB HDDs, two of which run perfectly fine, and a third which started exhibiting strange behaviour recently, where under sequential writes it would sometimes write at ~100MB/s then bomb down to ~15MB/s, even when the other drives are close to full they still write at 60+MB/s. A "diskpart > clean all" successfully restored the drive to its previous speeds. Though now there is a SMART error showing up. Anyway, long story cut short, do i need a new HDD?
  14. HELLO! So I'm writing here to try and solve a problem I've been having. My PC has what i believe to be fairly good (above average) specs. I invested good money into the parts and everything. However, the performance of the PC has just been underwhelming thus far. I'm struggling to get over 60 fps in most games (Overwatch, Dying Light, Dishonored) which I should be getting comparing the recommended specs of the games with my own PC specs. Sadly most games run at 40-50 or even less. It's just been a really troubling issue and nothing I have tried has fixed it. I'm pretty sure my drivers are up to date which seems to be the main solution for most. But I'm still getting really bad fps. Just wondering if there are any tips or solutions? Would reformatting the PC completely, cleaning up all the files and stuff, make it run better? Thanks! PC specs: GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz, 3501 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) RAM: 8.00 GB OS: Windows 10 (64 bit) Motherboard: Z170 PRO GAMING If there is anymore information you need about my PC I will obtain it for you. Thank you very much for any help provided.
  15. Playing league(and other games) I always noticed my fps werent as high as they should, even tho at times they will be at 144 (capped), most of the times I'm at 100 fps most of the times with low settings. The CPU usage is around 20% and the GPU usage is around 15%. they go up and down but very slightly like 15, 17,15, 17... I have a 144hz monitor so its important for me to get the 144 fps. The setting Radeon Chill is turned off, so that isnt the issue. On the image i attached ignore the values i just didnt get one in game since i cant get in game atm, but the values in game are usually these (use image as a reference) GPU: 50 ºC - 15% - 1153 +/- 25w MEM: 50 ºC - 850 MB - 800 Mhz CPU : 75 ºC - 20% - 3700 Mhz RAM: 3000 MB OGL: 100/125 fps My build is: GPU: RX Vega 56 Sapphire Pulse CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 Motherboard: B450 Aorus M Ram: 8 gb hyper x fury + Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3000MHz CL16 PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550W Full Modular Thanks in advance!
  16. I'm having troubles running Black Ops 3 smoothly. It's running at about 30-40 fps. I'm able to run Black Ops 4 just fine with a 1050ti and an i7 4790k. I know I have a good GPU, but I'm not sure why this game is running so poorly. Nobody has had this issue apparently since I've looked online and it's mainly people with poor hardware trying to run the game. My old 960 ssc 2gb ran this game perfectly fine with my old i5 CPU so I'm not sure what exactly is wrong.
  17. Hello, for almost half a year now I am suffering from various Problems of my pc. Since I have updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (after my SSD and HDD both died) my gpu is Performing way worse than usual. In games where I used to get consistent 180+ FPS, I am now having unstable FPS that varies between 90 - 180 I have literally tried everything, from changing Windows and AMD Settings (Game Settings, power saving Settings) to clompletely uninstalling Microsofts applications. I have already contacted the manufacturer of my gpu, but even they don't know what to do anymore. And this is sadly not even my only Problem. Since today my pc also seems to crash while playing games. I've had 2 Bluescreens and 1 blackscreen with the gpu fans spinning at max so far. I have already searched for damaged data with cmd; in fact Windows has found damaged files and repaired them, but it didn't help. I have checked if my GPU or my CPU are overheating but they are both running below 80°C (75°C at max) I really don't know what to do anymore... I am having These Problems for a Long time already, sometimes they're gone and from one to the other day they just come back. I have already bought a new PSU (850W Seasonic Gold) but that didn't change anything either. I already had similiar Problems with my old GPU, which was a RX 480 8GB, if that plays a role. I hope someone can help me with my Problem but I have honestly lost my hope to have a working pc. Specs: GPU: RX Vega 56 OC (msi) CPU: i7 - 6700 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170-HD3 DDR3 RAM: Corsair Vengeance (1600Mhz) 4GBx4 PSU: Seasonic Gold 850W

Setup: OS: Windows 10 64bit GPU: Gigabyte windforce 1660ti +140 on Core +800 on Memory CPU: i5-7600k OC to 4.4GHz RAM: 8GB 2800MHz PSU: 700 watt I already tried reverting the overclocks but that didn't have any effect. Air cooled but no overheating issues at all. All drivers, windows & bios are running on the newest versions. All my overclocks are also running stable at their set speeds. No issues with dust in my build either. Hey guys! Recently upgraded from a 750ti to a 1660ti and was hoping to get those juicy fps boosts but well that didn't happen. I'm getting the same/worse fps in games now even though my exact setup even without overclocks should easily burn through all games at 1080p according to every benchmark i managed to find. Weirdest thing is that in most games the settings i use do NOT affect the fps at all for example my fps in overwatch at low/off settings are 90-140 and on high/ultra they are the exact same. According to gpucheck.com i should be getting around 220 at least when i play on low settings.
  19. (EDIT) I reinstalled Windows 10 & everything is working perfectly fine now! Thank you amazing people for all the help! After spending about 900 euro (about 1000 USD) on new components to upgrade my 4-5 year old rig, I was met with a shitty surprise when i benchmarked my system & also the new CPU is working (much)harder than it should. Also opening tabs is a bit laggy & dragging anything around the desktop lags as if my CPU is from 2010. How the f**k is this possible ? It did however give me a better FPS rating on BF5, so i have no idea what's going on. It does feel like it has something to do with the CPU, but i have no idea. Any idea how i can fix this ? NOTE: Even dragging tabs across the desktop result in lag & the CPU usage goes easily over 50%, FROM JUST DRAGGING TABS AROUND. Old rig:CPU: intel i7 4790kRAM: DDR3 1600mHz Corsair Vengence (2x8, 16gb total) (old af)Motherboard: Asus Z97-AGPU: GTX 1080 ti MSI Gaming XNew rig: (this is the rig i have the problem with)CPU: intel i7 9700kRAM: DDR4 3200 mHz Corsair Vengence (2x16, 32 gb total)Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC GPU: GTX 1080 ti MSI Gaming X(I kept the same GPU) UNIGINE Valley Benchmark results;Old rig: 90,3 average FPSNew rig: 87,9 average FPSBenchmark settings: Ultra quality (everything set on absolut max)Resolution: 2560×1440p Now how on earth could i possibly be getting LOWER benchmark results & generally bad performance from my new rig (compared to my old rig) ? Do i need to download some special drivers? Do i need to change something in my BIOS ?

  21. Hello,I have a serious problem. My i5 8400 is underperforming. I was having really low fps in games than I had before, so I reinstalled my Windows and benchmarked my PC.Results: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/15812339 It's even worse, I have no idea what's going on. I bought this CPU like a month ago, then suddenly GPU broke, got new one a week ago and it's magic. When I turn on Turbo Boost as I had, my temps jumps in 2 seconds between 20 C. When I am playing games it goes up to 80 C, my fan is loud, it feels like it's gonna explode each second. If someone has idea how could I fix it, I would be really thankful.PS: When I restart PC my fans go crazy, when I start up PC it doesn't do it. I don't understand anything.Whole rig:ASUS DUAL GTX1060 O6G8 GB DDR4 2400MHZASUS H310M-KZalman ZM600-LXWD 1TB BLUE The temps were high at intel stock cooler so I bought coolermaster hyper evo 212 led and it's the same, if not even worse.
  22. I already installed GTX 1060 3GB driver before upgrading to RTX 2060 6GB. Then i feel something strange. Like fps drop, bad gaming performance Ryzen 5 2600 RTX 2060 6GB RAM 2666MHZ 8X2Mhz Seasonic Focus Gold 550W with MSI B350 Tomahawk.
  23. Hello, I recently upgraded my GPU to a 1070 from gigabyte. From what i am seeing is that the GPU is underperforming in many games like FC5, SOTTR, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Dirt rally. here in these games on Medium to High settings the GPU is not working as well as it should do and sometimes drops the fps to below 60, its usage stays between 70%. My friend with a rx 570 and 2600 gets well above 60fps in all these titles. My CPU usage is hovering between 50-70% My specs are: Ryzen 2400G Gigabyte GTX 1070 OC G.Skill Ripjaws V 3000 @CL16 Gigabyte AX370-gaming SSD+HDD 250+1tb I am attaching screenshots from games
  24. Hi , I just built a new pc with a 2080ti and i7 8700k and i launched ac origins on my 3440x1440p ultrawide and am getting an average of 57 fps. Is this normal or is my card performance low.
  25. Hi all, My first ever post on this forum. So my new RTX 2080 Ti FE arrived today (finally after a 3-week delay). I removed my old card (GTX 980 Ti) and installed my new card. I reinstalled my graphics drivers to be certain they are correct. I ran some benchmarks and a game or two and I got no performance increase at all. My benchmark on Cinebench was basically the same as my 980 ti (maybe 1 fps more), my games had 0 fps improvement, one game even had an fps drop. Can ideas what could be going on? I have an Intel i7-4790K overclocked to 4.6ghz. My Nvidia control panel is set to 'prefer maximum performance' too. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Regards.
