The new and improved billboard at the iconic London square measures 790 sq meters, 11 million pixels spaced 8mm apart. This massive screen can display 281 trillion different colors on an expanse of about 4 tennis courts and is the largest screen of its type in Europe. However, its gargantuan size is only half the story! The information captured will be used to tailor advertisements towards those in close proximity to the billboard. The screen will also display ads depending on the weather and news and sports event. A spokesmen from Landsec stated in an email that "the screen can react to these external factors, but would do so without collecting or storing any personal details." The screen will display 6 different section displaying ads, news, sports, weather, etc and a full screen ad using the entire screen for 30 seconds every 10 minutes - the first brands to debut will include Samsung, Coca-Cola, Hyundai, and L'Oreal. Landsec has not announced when the the new board will be switched on, as they do not want the screen to cause overcrowding and traffic issue on an already congested sidewalk and city street.

Hey guys, So I really want to upgrade my processor from I3 to a I5. https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SCPUINTI54460A I dont want to change the entire motherboard and get DDR4 ram and all of that stuff. So I went on CEX and found an intel core i5 4460 for £90. Its second hand I know but its worth buying it than spending £200 on a brand new one. So what do you guys think? Should I buy the processor from CEX or should I wait and save to get a basically new pc upgrade (processor, motherboard and ram +btw im very poor) Thanks,

Hey so the plan is to get as many people as possible and fly together from the UK to LTX19 couple days before to adjust after jet lag and enjoy the event together. I'm from London but if you have the ticket and flying from somewhere else let me know I'll try to organise a meetup after arrival or something. The UK's first Xiaomi store has opened in Westfield London. (Yes Westfield London is the name of the shopping centre, there is another called Westfield Stratford) This store appears to have been open for three days, (at the time of writing) but Westfield has only just gotten around to announcing it. The store is open from 10am-10pm Monday to Saturday, and Sundays 12pm-6pm. The Xiaomi UK website (https://www.mi.com/uk/) now shows the store as the sole entry to the Authorised Mi Store list. Westfield sent out a marketing email this morning (they acquired mine through free wifi signup) saying that the Mi store is now open.

I know there are Tower Bridge and so on, but what places should visit that are not in the every day tourist information paper and worth a visit? I'm looking to get a mechanical keyboard but want to test the switch types first. I've done a bit of searching but the option on Amazon is £17 so I was hoping to get it for a little cheaper than that... Do any LTT members living in the UK or, even better, London, have a sampler that they would mind sending me? I would sent it back or I could buy it. Failing that, any suggestions of where to get a switch tester would be great! Thanks!

I moved from Vancouver to London and apparently PC parts stores don't seem to be much of a thing here. There was NCIX and Memory Express that I could go to in Vancouver, but in London its basically online or having to deal with 'PC World's Gaming Bunker' for anything halfway decent. Anyone living in London have any suggestions of where to go? Thanks!

Anyone who lives in the UK knows that Currys & PC World's selection of computer components is diabolical. The only shop I know that actually stocks a decent range of parts is Epsilon PC on Tottenham Court RD but their prices are sky high. I went in the other day and they were charging £360 for a 6700K, equivalent to $530USD Of course I could shop online but it's just not the same as having an actual store where you can speak to people..

I am in London and my internet provider is virgin media and I am sure they are slowing me down. This has been going on for a week now and I am getting annoyed, I have been with them for about two years now. My first 2 weeks where AMAZING then they started to slow me down and now I can only watch youtube in 480p I used to be able to watch in 1080p! hi everyone i have a new computer i5 3570k h60 water cooling asus p8-z77-v pro hd 7870 i want to get the CPU overclocked to maybe 4.0 or 4.2 and i live in London, Victoria so does anyone know someone or company in London (preferably near Victoria) that's good at overclocking, i want a reliable service i don't want to take it home and realize all they did was up the clock speed ( and didn't test it out) and now my computer just keeps overheating any help or recommendation would be great

Hey, I have been watching Linus Tech Tips for 2 months now after being linked to the . Great videos and live streams, great knowledge base for PC building from what I have seen. Budget: £1400 Location: London, UK Aim: I have finished university and I am going to focus more on video production which will include 3D work from time-to-time. So I want a quiet, video production build with future proofing in mind. I mainly play MineCraft but the focus of this build needs to be for Video Production, although the upcoming games I am planning to play are Total War: Rome II, Civ5, COH2, GTAV, Battlefield 4, Saints Row 4, maybe Titanfall. Monitors: 2 for now but eventually a 3-screen bezel layout for workplace efficiency. So, I am creating this tread because I may be the first few of the people who got their Galaxy Note 3 at the Samsung Experience Store in Stratford London. So far I have not played around with it much so I can't say much but there are a few things I can talk about now. The screen is amazing. The device feels solid and the texture on the back is soft and epic. One problem I have come across is that my USB 3.0 does not recognize the phone as a media device. I think Samsung will release an update to their Kies software to enable USB 3.0 to recognize the Note 3 as a media device like connecting to the USB 2.0 port does. Alright. Now I am going to bed and play with the Note 3 more tomorrow. EDIT: So, I have played around with my Note 3 and it is very snappy. There is no lag and the touch experience is smooth and quick. The camera has some kind of stabilization and it really helps when taking pictures. Taking videos at 1080p allows you to make use of stabilization but the 4K video recording does not allow stabilization. So, you will need steady hands to record super cool 4K footage. More to come
