  1. Are the receivers for a G903 Lightspeed compatible with the ones from G903 Lightspeed (Hero)? I bought a used replacement for very cheap price (no dongle, however), and want to pair my G903 Lightspeed to the receiver from my G903 Lightspeed (HERO). And even if I wanna keep both, should I worry about compatibility if I were to buy a receiver for it? P.S. my G903 (HERO) left click works properly again. For months, that button was acting up as I couldn't drag n' drop properly.
  2. I'm gonna buy these really hot looking Logitech headphones the G933. And while I've got no issues over the quality of the prodycuz it's Logitech, I'm wondering how will I do anything RGB related cuz I don't know of any RGB related Logitech apps (I'm new to the world of RGB). So just asking will asus's aura sync work with the headset? Also am I making the right choice by buying these or should I look for something else?
  3. I just need a bit of a sense check here. i bought a Logitech G915 keyboard, and I love it. i recently started wondering what happens if I damage/lose the receiver. I assumed it would be a simple case of buying a new one, so off I went to the Logitech store. Nothing. Weird. So I checked Amazon and found one listing on .com, A receiver on Aliexpress, but nothing in Europe. So I contact support and got this: Can it be that Logitech ship its most expensive products without catering for spare parts? Am I the only person that finds this kinda strange.. or is this just normal.. that when a $2 usb receiver borks, it renders a $230 keyboard useless? Surely this is a good one for @LinusTech to poke a litte.
  4. Question uhm.. about the logitech g pro wireless.. let's say I bought a new pro wireless mouse and I changed up the dpi and polling rate on another pc would that dpi and polling rate will convert onto the pc I'm trying to play a game on.
  5. Hi, I want to buy new gaming mouse and logitech g502 hero caught my attention. I've been reading through the reviews and noticed that not a small amount of people are having this so called double click issue (The mouse clicks twice instead of once in approx. 1 out of 100 clicks) few months after the bought the mouse, there are also other people who have had the mouse for years and didn't even know something like this is a thing. Now I wanna gather some more information about this issue, because I obviously don't want my mouse to start malfunctioning like this. Does anybody know if this was only a factory issue or a design flaw? How often do people get these malfunctioning mice and is it even worth buying?
  6. Yo My Logitech Streamcam has a quite low fps, near like 15 max. How do i fix it? Have been searching on google for a small amount of time, and didn't came to a solution
  7. I am trying to understand how to adjust my game chat and voice chat. There is only one volume rocker to turn either the game volume up or down. How do I hear game chat? anyone have the answer. I have set the mic up completely and yet I have no idea if I can hear game chat and voice chat equally or if it will just be all game chat. Any help greatly appreciated.
  8. I've seen people with this problem on the internet for research to fix mine but it still doesn't work. My problem occurs when I need to change my PC power cable outlet, so I shut down my computer, unplugged my power cable and plugged it into another outlet, then I startup my PC. But after I logged in, my G430 headset is displayed on the audio section as "USB Advanced Audio Device". I've tried many fixes to solve this problem and nothing works for me. I've tried changing back from LGHUB to LGSoftware, updating from device manager (It doesn't detect new drivers from logitech and keeps using the usb advanced audio thing), and I've tried the solution that fixes all the other peoples problem which is to download the firmware, but after I've installed the firmware it says to "Connect your device to continue" WHILE I'm plugging in my headset through the usb soundcard thing, I've tried changing it to the audio jack and it still doesn't work. I really really love this headset and I would really l ove a feedback from anyone to help me with this. Sorry if I make some grammar mistakes, english isn't my first language. Edit: So I think I didn't explain my problem very well, sorry. So, I wanted to change the power plug/outlet which my PC is plugged into, to another outlet to arrange the cable. So I shut it off after playing a game, turn off the Power Supply, and change the power outlet into another outlet. Then I turn the power supply back on and start the computer. After I boot up my PC, my headset is not recognized as Logitech G430, it's not giving me any audio in and or out, and it's not showing up on the LGHUB and LGSoftware. It is however recognized as "USB Advanced Audio Device" just like the photo above I Posted. I've tried many "solutions" from the internet where people has the same problem as me but it didn't work. TL;DR 1. I wanted to arrange my PC cable 2. Shuted down my computer after playing for awhile 3. Turned off the switch on the power supply 4. Changed the power outlet which my PC was plugged to another outlet. 5. Turned on the power supply and start my PC up. 6. My headset is not recognized as "Logitech G430" and I'm not getting any audio in or out. 7. It's recognized as "USB Advanced Audio Device". 8. Tried many solutions from the internet, still not working. 9. Tried the solutions which solves almost everyone with the same problem which is to download and install the G430 firmware. I did that, but the firmware doesn't recognized my headset like the picture below 10. Tried updating the driver, no logitech driver is detected on my computer. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!! AMA! sorry for bad english/grammar I'm in a lot of stress rn bcs of this thing.
  9. Hi, I know it is not a new problem, but maybe LTT could make a video about that and pressure Logitech so they would hire a proper software development team and fix this bullshit sorry excuse of a driver software? Recently it got even worse, with the latest update the CPU usage is 100% all the time, all one can do is to kill it from the Task Manager and hope that when it gets restarted it will consume less - it happens from time to time. Because all of this I wan't to smash my G815 keyboard against the wall, Logitech Gaming Software is not an alternative replacement, it has less features, is out of support (last update done in 2018), looks ugly and so on. One thing is for sure: I WILL NOT BUY ANY OTHER LOGITECH HARDWARE ANYMORE!!! They support is non-existent, all you can experience are some bots which are non-surprisingly helpless. I will switch to Asus, Razer or even Corsair. NEVER AGAIN LOGITECH!!!
  10. I have the g435 lightspeed from Logitech I have done everything registered them, tried to update the drivers but that doesn't work because the headset even in lightspeed mod won't connect to the lightspeed stick that the headset came with. Nothing works I have even tried forgetting the device and uninstalling it so the computer completely forgets it unplugging the lightspeed stick and plunging it back in and still doesn't work. I have even talked to Logitech reps and higher up reps and they say the same thing every time and I am not the only person that has this issue. Has anyone found a fix.
  11. Hi everyone, I am looking for a Logitech Keyboard like the one bellow. I want everything to be the same. I just want full size keys. Not half height. I want it to be Logitech so try and keep everything in the same ecosystem. Since I have a G903 Lightspeed Mouse and Logitech just updated the G-Hub software so mice and keyboards can be on the same receiver. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Mechanical-Keyboard-Tactile/dp/B07NY9ZRZG?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 If a Logitech Keyboard can't be found that's exactly like that one there here are what I would like in the Keyboard: I would like to price to be under $100 (I understand that might not be possible given my requests). So between $300 and $100 (just over $300 is ok if it has most of my features) Must Have Wireless with Internal Battery (I don't want to have to deal with AA or AAA batteries) Logitech Keyboard (Negotiable if it has everything from must have and some from nice to have) Removable Key Caps (i want to be able to clean the keys since they get dirty) Nice to have Individual RGB (being able to program each RGB individually (nice feature but not required)) Full Size (with num pad) Wrist rest (detachable if possible since it would be easier to clean) Doesn't really matter Switch type (I just want to try and avoid excessively noisy keys (if possible)) If we can't find one let me know and I'll try and slim down that I want if needed. Thank you all for your help in advance.
  12. Hey, my PC doesnt react when i press the left mouse button on my G502 Lightspeed. I have this problem since my pc crashed two days ago. And yes, the left click is still making a sound. Every other button on the mouse still works just fine!
  13. Hi, For some time I have been experiencing automatic volume increase when turning on my PC. It happens rarely but I still want to identify whether it’s a faulty volume wheel on my Logiteh G915 TKL keyboard, G Hub or anything else. I think it usually happend when I do not use the PC for a day, but I may be wrong. I have switched to onboard memory of the keyboard two days ago and today it happened again. G Hub was running though so it also might have been it thus I have disabled autostart. Is there a way to check what was the source of the volume changes? Did anyone encounter this situation? I’m running Windows 11 fully up to date. Edit: I think it might also be doubling the old settings -> from 12 to 24 volume Edit2: If anyone is interested, I think it might have been an issue/quirk with the driver when the screen was put into sleep mode. Sometimes after this the sound stops working and the sound card is not detected at all over hdmi. Not sure though but seems to be the most likely cause.
  14. i have been having this problem i cant open some logitech related apps such as logitech g hub is there by a chance a fix?
  15. It's technically an emergency for me, kinda, Due to many medical issues, I will be spending a lot of time in bed recovering for most of this and next year, I'm starting to get calls regarding scheduling the first of many surgeries, like within the coming weeks, hence why I must move posthaste. So to make that time more manageable, I'm looking at; https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/gaming-mice/g502-lightspeed-wireless-gaming-mouse.910-005565.html and https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/gaming-keyboards/g915-low-profile-wireless-mechanical-gaming-keyboard.html **yes I am aware they co$t more, I've had the same logitech keyboard/mouse combo for more than 10 years now, and the only issue is that the range, is slowly, shrinking, also getting more laggy. I'd rather spend the extra and have something last me another 10+ years. the main issue I noticed with they keyboard is the lack of any palm rest, for the price, you'd think there would be an optional removable one, w/e though, to the point of this posting, I'm seeking some sort lapboard, for both keyboard and mouse, I'm open to other options if anyone else has been in a similar situation. i.e. maybe a floppy "flexible" mat would work better on something like https://www.google.com/search?q=Drive+Medical+Non-Tilt+Overbed+Table&oq=Drive+Medical+Non-Tilt+Overbed+Table&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i64j69i60j69i61l2&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 I'm sure I can continue to use that afterwards, there are more complex and awesome ways to go about this, some I would be very much in favor of, however custom gear custom co$t. Admittedly, I should upgrade the machine also, however the funding source, a indie proper LGBT+ film/community support project, now that it on hold, until the Covid19 situation is sorted out, though this project is not likely to financially survive that long. The idea was, I would build a file server and a video editing machine, with a decent budget, I still have tabs open for my camera research for the project, haha, that was so two months ago. I'll probably post about a system build suggestion that might be good enough to party, sooner than later, when this one takes its last dump. specs of current system are horrid lol. serious suggestions welcome, thank you.
  16. Hello fellow forum dwellers! I am seeking help with a very specific problem, which I don't have the time to face alone... To be brief, Amazon is reimbursing my G513 linear instead of repairing it since they don't currently have it in stock in my country. I was quite happy when I got the news today, since the board has served me very well for 20 months now and I am getting back the price I paid at launch. On the other hand, I work as a video game translator and I can't afford to use a replacement board for more than a week since macros and stuff. I have been working with G HUB and I love it because I can set up different profiles for the programs I use and it switches between them instantly, even when alt-tabbing. Also, I am using a G602 mouse for productivity, but I am not sure I want to buy another G513 (which now costs 50€ less than what I am getting back) and the G915 doesn't come with an Italian layout, which is kinda important to me. Here are my other preferences, I hope someone will be able to point me in the right direction ^_^ Brown switches or equivalent (open to romer, but I do feel some of the mushiness at times, not sure if that's better on tactile versions) Italian layout Software with various profiles and programmable keys (at least the F keys, open to trying separate software too) Backlit keys (per-key and programmable, possibly, but not required) Plushy or detachable wrist rest, I am addicted to Logitech's wonderful cushioning Thank you for reading this!
  17. Okay, so recently I found one of the weirdest problems I've ever had. For my KB/M, I have the Logitech G810 (Review) and G900 C/S (Review) respectively (the mouse that's supposed to be wired and wireless). I would switch between wired and wireless mode on the mouse all the time, except I recently let it stay on wired mode for about a week. Usually, unplugging the mouse and sticking it into the little extender dongle thing works fine, however this time it was different: when I plugged the mosue into the wireless USB thing, my keyboard shut off. My computer also didn't recognize my mouse. WHAT?! How does plugging my mouse in wirelessly disable my keyboard?? Someone please help.. ?
  18. (Please excuse me for any mistakes or errors I've made in this topic) Between Logitech G910 or G Pro keyboard, which one should I choose? (Don't even think about recommending me Razer) I have watch reviews on both of them, but not alot of G Pro as it's still fairly new
  19. so, i got 2 choices for now, Logitech G431 for 64 dollars, and G433 for 48 dollars, so which should i buy? Thank you.
  20. Source: Logitech G | Kailh Twitter Logitech G announced their new Logitech G915 Lightspeed wireless gaming keyboard which features the new Kailh Low-Profile Choc switches. I find it awesome that a big player in the gaming peripherals market opted to go for Kailh switches, and unexpectedly Kailh low-profile ones. I'm going to assume Logitech wanted the thinnest possible wireless gaming keyboard and they had to go Kailh low-profile for that to happen. Logitech defines these new switches as their new low-profile switches on their website, so it appears that they have sourced Kailh to manufacture their switches, although those switches definitely look like Kailh Chocs. The GL clicky, tacitle, and linear appear to be Kailh's Choc White, Brown, and Red respectively. The G915 features the new Lightspeed wireless technology found in other peripherals such as the G305 Lightspeed and the G502 Lightspeed, which in a nutshell means it's wireless and has blink-fast response times. This announcement as I voiced before came as a surprise because it features Kailh Choc switches. It's a nice new creation on Logitech's part to create a low-profile, full-sized keyboard featuring those premium switches. The G915 Lightspeed definitely reminds me of Roccat's own Vulcan, which is Roccat's low-profile keyboard featuring their own low-profile switches.
  21. Introduction many know me as a PSU guy, motherboard nerd, PCPP list creator and many other things, a mouse would be a far cry for me. but today i'll try to see if i can review a mouse. after buying a white G305 for €40,67 (MSRP €59,99) on 21'st of August, and the black one on the 6th of November, I've had my time with both in various situations, and feel like I can leave some thoughts on it from my experience so far. My configuration I put my mouse in 1000hz polling rate, performance mode, the first, second, third and top as they are on default, and the sidebuttons for a temporary dpi switch to 500 dpi. On DPI settings of 500, 1500, 2200 and 3500 for various situations and games. I'm mostly using the 500 for precision stuff like simple drawing, the 1500 for shooters and browsing. the 2200 if i feel like it's going a touch too hard and the 3500 when i have little space to move my mouse somewhere, but still want to use if for browsing or games like minecraft. the surfaces i use it on are tables, my armchair, my Roccat Taito and sometimes even my bed. the mouse itself is surprisingly highly responsive on all of these surfaces, though it still has tracking issues on transparant things, like i noticed on my kitchen table's transparant mat. Design/shape the mouse is small. this is something you either love or hate. as i personally don't have big hands and take my grip at the back and sides, sometimes using fingers for a touch more pressision it's very confortable for me. the thumb buttons are more like ring finger buttons for me, but for what i use them for it's fine. the white version gets quite quickly a touch gray on the bottom and a bit on the sides, but is rather easy to clean off. this is something to mostly keep in mind with the white version, but i can't judge about the black version in that regard, as i've had it too short for that the receiver and battery are a bit switched up compared to most mice, being at the top rather than the button. it never felt off for me during gaming, and it's for me easier to reach than the bottom, so i really don't mind. the rubbers below make it nice and smooth on other surfaces, but looks a bit scratchy after it's short use on a table, as i didn't have a mouse mat at the time for it. i still use the black one mostly on tables, but that one hasn't really shown any wear on that regard yet the mouses are black/gray/blue and white/gray/blue. to start with the white one: it's mostly white, being glossy up top and more matte on the bottom and sides. it has black rubbers on the bottom, located two up top, 3 on the lower and a circle around the sensor. it has a blue logo up top from logitech g, with g305 below the sensor. just below the g305 naming there's a red-blue switch with a grippy profile to turn the mouse on and off. this blends in rather nicely with the logo and everything when turned on. on top there's another logitech G logo, in light-gray colour. the black version shares a lot of the design, but has some changes to my feel. the black feels a little more grippy for me, and has the blue better blend in with the rest. i like the look of both, but prefer to take the black with me so far, as it looks less gray-ish after taking it with me for a while, one of the reasons i bought another g305. the dongle itself looks the same on both, but different from Logitech's other lines as Logi, as it has the G logo on it, making it easier to separate from my old mk270, which had a logi logo on it. it's something small, but a nice touch software the g305 can be configured with the Logitech Gaming software, where it will show up in the colour you have, and as offline if the dongle is plugged in, but the mouse is turned off. i like this small touch a lot myself, and it would be nice to have if i accidentally switched around the dongles. you can configure the DPI, polling rate, power mode and buttons, it also shows battery percentage and has a special feature to check your button use or your pressing time, to record it while you're using it, something i personally haven't used, nor plan to use any time soon. all the settings can be saved on the on-board memory or on the pc itself battery i don't have any numbers on this myself, except for that both are still fully charged according to logitech. but from @sowon's numbers it lasted around 6 months on a single battery on high performance mode, not that far off Logitech's claim of 9 months on the lower power mode. weight the weight of the whole device is in total a reported 99g. quite impressive as that includes an aa battery, the dongle and a wireless receiver with high end sensor. if you're freaky enough you could do an aaa battery and a converter, but i'm personally satisfied with it's current weight. verdict + left hand approved + high end sensor + cheap + light + configurable buttons + good battery life reported - white gets dirty quickly, even if easy to clean off - left hand approved, but not designed for - not meant for people with bigger hands full gallery link to mouse: https://www.logitechg.com/nl-nl/products/gaming-mice/g305-lightspeed-wireless-gaming-mouse.html#product-tech-specs
  22. Hi, I recently got a Logitech G102 and sometimes the cursor freezes and then snaps to where it would've gone if it did not freeze. Strangely, I have not observed this on Linux or while playing Valorant but only while navigating windows. I tried booting into safe mode and I was not able to notice it there either https://zowie.benq.com/en/support/mouse-rate-checker.html I used that website to check and whenever the mouse freezes, the polling rate drops to 0Hz. Anyway to fix this?
  23. Sup everyone! I recently got the G502 as a gift, and i wanna talk about, so, ill say a less detailed desc about it, then get more into detail then the pros and the cons Lets begin! The mouse in my opinion is great, the free scroll wheel, the buttons, the thumb rest, the weights, it can feel plastic-light without weights and heavy with all the weights, the mouse itself can store up to three profiles and theres 11 programmable buttons, one of them being a DPI or sniper button. Alright, so the free scroll wheel can be activated by clicking the button directly behind it, its very useful for scrolling through very long pages, you no longer feel the clicks every scroll when activated, the button used to activate it feels like a cherry mx blue but not exactly, its still very nice to press. There are side mousewheel buttons, meaning i can click the mousewheel left or right and you can program them. I use them to raise/lower the volume, the mousewheel is metal but imo that doesnt really matter. Apart from MOUSE1 (left click) and MOUSE2 (right click) and MOUSE3 (middle click) there are 6 other buttons, excluding the side mousewheel buttons, one of them is a DPI button, which can be very useful, say for example, you like playing with 3000 dpi in shooting games but when you aim you want around 600 dpi, lets take Fortnite for example, You just killed someone with a shotgun and theres someone far from you, so you build a ramp and you aim with your sniper, you hold the sniper button which lowers your DPI, and you can aim better. The weights are very nice, there are 5 weights, each weighing 3.6 grams which you attach at the bottom of the mouse, next to the sensor, by removing the magnetic panel at the bottom of the mouse, the mouse out of the box weighs 4.3 ounces, while with all the weights its 5.9 ounces. Now, about the profiles, this mouse can store 3 profiles, lets say your mouse has the best settings for you in fortnite and it took you a long time with tests and stuff, anyway, so you go to your friends house to play fortnite, and you plug in your mouse and put profile 1, which is the fortnite settings instead of having to change all the settings, cool huh? Hell yeah The software is AMAZING, UNLIKE RAZERS, ITS LIKE COMPARING EAZY E, TO LIL PUMP, UNMATCHED. Razer's software is ass, Logitech's isnt, my laptop is an i7 2670qm so its really slow and for razer it makes my laptop lag, not logitech's. THANK. YOU. LOGITECH. THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU. Sorry, i just love the software. Theres RGB, cool huh? Nope, the G logo is covered by your palm and the profile/dpi light to show you what settings is cool but the rgb isnt that good, the white color is not white, which sucks. My keyboard is the Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 TE, the braided cable that comes with it is good, the logitech's? Not as good. its more soft and wears off more which sucks but eh whatever. The feet for this mouse is amazing, my previous mouse had HARD PLASTIC feet sticking out, eugh Mouse? AMAZING, I LOVE IT, 4.7/5 STARS 9.7/10 G502 pics VVVVVVV https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lcRjvpTHwVAcSK4S2xAGtteQzI6f5z4R
  24. What are your thoughts on the G512 Carbon keyboard from Logitech? I've heard that there is a new GX Blue Switch which is clicky, but they are produced by Kailh and are identical to the Razer Green Switches in their old Blackwidow models; while they are rated to last 70 million keystrokes, I'm not sure about the quality. Should I buy this keyboard or pay more money to get something like the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2?
  25. Hello This is my review of the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB mouse. This mouse, by far, I would consider to be my favorite one so far. So what I am going to be talking about here is my experiences with it so far, how I have configured the mouse with the software that you should get, and how I have the weights set up since this mouse does use the weights included in the box. The mouse carries the same MSRP of $79.99 USD that the Proteus Cores carries. Getting the mouse wasn't easy. My first attempt was with the Proteus Core, but my local Fry's Electronics wasn't getting its shipment and they told me that it went on W status, so I cancelled my reserve and got a full refund. So this time, I decided to get the Proteus Spectrum off of Amazon for the same price that I initially paid for the Proteus Core when I first reserved it. The G502 Proteus Spectrum has a DPI range of 200 to 12,000. Logitech markets this mouse as an FPS mouse. It has a DPI Shift button for instant low DPI on the fly when you need it, and it has a mouse wheel toggle which lets you toggle between the usual bumpy feel, or the free scrolling which lets you scroll through pages rapidly. You can also use the weights that come with the mouse to customize the weight and feel of the mouse. Interestingly, it also has a 32-bit ARM microprocessor for the responsiveness of the mouse, and also for probably the storage of three different profiles you can take with you and use it on other machines that has the Logitech Gaming Software installed already. The Unboxing Unboxing this mouse was pretty pleasant. What you see is the mouse in its nice clear plastic window with the blue plastic tray that it comes packed inside of the box itself. You will find the mouse and the weight pack. So so far the unboxing has been really smooth. Now the thing about this mouse is that it lights up funny . It's an RGB mouse, but the picture below is the blue lighting that I got with the DSLR camera that I use as my main camera for pictures. Unfortunately with the DSLR camera that I use, I wasn't getting good results at all! Now that we have the unboxing out of the way, let's get to how I use the mouse and how I have it set up. I will show here how I have my weights set up first, and how I have the software set up. Here is what the weights look like and how I have them set up. Each weight is made out of what I presumed to be aluminum since it's not magnetic at all. Each of them is also 3.6G and there are five of them. Here is how I hold my mouse. The mouse is very comfortable the way I hold it, which is something I like a lot! As a gamer, being able to hold the mouse as comfortable as I can is important, and I am a palm user . The Software So I tried to get pictures of the software, however the quality was lackluster and I will not show them. But I will tell you how I have it set up here, and what you can do with the software. But the software is easy to use and very intuitive. The way you do a firmware update is to unplug the mouse and plug it back in to initialize the update. So I strongly recommend you to update the firmware to the latest version since it allows for the adjustment of the brightness for the Color Cycle effect. The Feel and The Experience Now let's talk about my personal experience with it so far, coming from the Logitech G5 mouse. The feel: The mouse feels different when I hold it. When I hold onto the G5 mouse, my pinky falls right into the crevice which the G5 had, but the G502 Proteus Spectrum has a rubberized side and my ring and pinky fingers get stacked over each other. A bit of an odd feel, but that's something I'm used to. The performance: Please note I am not good at multiplayer FPS games, but I play StarCraft II and Heroes of the Storm, and adventure games like Tomb Raider. It performs just the way I want it to, and I use the DPI shift whenever I need very precise aiming or mouse placement. In Tomb Raider, I am a "headhunter" in there as I mostly go for headshots. In StarCraft II and Heroes of the Storm, I use the right click a lot, and I mean A LOT. The left click gets used sparingly as the left click does nothing in-game that lets me to a certain action. Only for things like selecting heroes or box selecting a chunk of units for assigning commands. In adventure games and singleplayer FPS games, the left click gets used more as it's for attacking or shooting. And it delivers as expected for an expensive mouse. The weights: They're pretty light, considering that the G5's heaviest are 4.2G each, but the mouse compensates for it by being heavier without any weights. But getting them out is a little bit tough. I use a dime to get them out since the inside is rubberized. You get ti the compartment by pushing the glossy black tab, which there is a slug near it that is magnetized. Opening it is very easy. The Summary Now I will summarize this review by saying that the software is easy to use, and it supersedes the G5 by leaps and bounds in my opinion. The DPI range is much wider than the G5 since it only goes up to ~2000 DPI. But it's not that different from the G502 Proteus Core that it pretty much replaces. If you have a G502 Proteus Core, I'd recommend not to upgrade it. But if you want the RGB lighting, then I wouldn't stop you. But that's my recommendation. The Pros Much better than the G5, its predecessor. Very wide DPI range Customizable RGB lighting and weights Software is intuitive and easy to use Allows for the storage of up to three profiles for on-the-go travel. The Cons Weights are difficult to remove. I had to use a dime to get them out The price, duh. Not much different from the Proteus Core, but the MSRP is the same. Bit of a nitpick there. The Bottom Line Would I recommend this mouse? Yes I would. Should you upgrade your G502 Proteus Core? My recommendation is no, since it's the same, but it lights up funny. This is my main mouse of choice now that I have upgraded from the G5, then the Asus ROG GX800. The software is easy and intuitive, and it allows for a wide range of customizability for your gameplay style.
