I have made mention about this a couple time in other posts and I have been getting a mixed bad of answers and other feed back. SO, if you have already discused this with me you don't have to stick around. For those of you that want to know, SYSTEM SPECS: CPU 13700KF Motherboard MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk RAM 32GB (16GB X2) DDR5-6000MHz TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta GPU RTX 4070 ASUS Dual Case RAIDMAX X603 Storage WD SN770 2TB PSU Corsair RM850X Fully Modular Display(s) Gigabyte G24F2 & Dell S2318HN/NX Cooling DEEPCOOL LS720 Keyboard Logitech G512 Carbon (GX Blue) Mouse Logitech Sound Bose Headphone & Creative SBS260 Operating System Windows 11 Pro Context: So I recently have been running all my games on my new PC to see how everything is working and I have been wanting to pick up some again, namely Persona 5 Strikers. ISSUE: The game has a 60FPS cap and the average FPS I get is 55-58. That is standing completely still. If I start to move or turn the camera the frame rate drops down into the low to mid 40s and I get lots of stuttering. When I enter combat the frame rate drops further to about 30 average and I still get the stuttering. About half the time though as soon as combat starts the game freezes completely only the music plays. This locks up the entire display the game is on and the screen goes black if I try to switch the program. It also does not do anything when I use CRL+ALT+DEL and tell it to open the taskmanager. I have to hit ALT+F4 and wait for it to close the game. If I am lucky I can get a new program to open up from the Start button and unbind the monitor, but that is rare. To top it off when I was checking taskmanager during a freeze on my other monitor I saw 100% usage on about 5 of my CPU cores. Then if I can get another program to take over the usage drops right to 0%. Attempted Fixes: I have tried every thing I can think of to work with this. I tried setting the Processor Core Afinity to just the P-Cores, I used the Nvidia control panel to set the Performance to Max, and turned on Ultra Low Latency. I tried min and max graphical settings in the game and and multiple other graphical setting combinations. I tried turning off all overlays. I originally I just moved the game and save files from my Laptop to the new PC, so I uninstalled the game and re-installed it. None of this helped at all. PS: Incase you are wondering the game ran well on my Laptop about 1.5 years ago when I originally played it after it came out. Hello everyone, I’ve had my computer for about a year now. Never faced any hardware issues with it, other then a fried PSU but I had warranty over my product and had it replaced. Just within the last month, my computer has been freezing on more demanding games, like escape from tarkov. It happens randomly, it can be either 10 minutes playing or a hour, but it always happens, only on more demanding games. At first I thought it was simply a problem with escape from tarkov, however, after getting my valve index today and playing half life alyx and getting a freeze the first 20 minutes in, I realized I had a much more serious problem on my hand. However, my computer doesn’t freeze on normal use, or games that are less demanding, like people playground. And suggestions? All my drivers are up to date, and I’ve checked my CPU and SSD health and both are perfectly fine. specs: I7-9700k RTX 2080 Super Aorus Dual Evo 32 Gig Ram Ripjaws 1tb Intel SSD Gigabyte z390 gaming X thermaltake 850w PSU

Hi . Recently I've been having issues with windows 10 just locking up and freezing . I've tried to check the event viewer to see if anything specific happens before the lockup but there is nothing consistent enough to tell what it is . I've ran antivirus and anti malware software . I've tried to manually identify what causes the lockup to no avail . It will just lock up when either idling or just doing anything like browsing files or exploring the internet . I don't get a black or blue screen . I can move my mouse but I cant open or close anything and i cant start the task manager either . I've been struggling for about a week or 2 with this issue. Does anyone have this problem or any ideas on how to solve this ? Thanks in advance

Hello, I recently made some upgrades to my computer (it was basically a rebuild, the only parts that remained the same were the GPU, PSU, and the storage). It began freezing when under heavy load (max settings Elden Ring), I could not Ctrl Alt Delete or open task manager, but I could still speak with people on discord while it was locked. The only thing I could do was hold down the power button to turn it off. The freezing began to get worse, locking on Apex Legends and eventually even on Civ 6. Things I have done to attempt to solve the problem: I got the new drivers for my GPU and motherboard and updated the motherboard BIOS I reseated the RAM and GPU I purchased a new 850 W PSU (I needed a new one any way) I ran a windows memory diagnostic I looked at the thermals at the time of the crash, the GPU and CPU never got above 65C I accidently upgraded to windows 11 I tried to look at the event viewer but the only critical error I saw was caused by me holding the power button down and the rest was nonsense to my smooth brain None of this helped. This is only the second computer I have ever built, so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Link to product >> https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-ELITE-WIFI-rev-1x/sp#sp I have this motherboard and I am constantly having issues with it locking up. When it starts to lock up, it loses time as in right now it is 1:02pm and it stopped time at 12:50. I have replaced memory and power supply. Reseated the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics 3.80 GHz. Windows 10 Pro is the OS I am running. I have tried reloading the OS multiple times also. any suggestions? -
Hi. When I use my pc like normal it suddenly can lock up or be really slow. For exempel when i watched youtube it started to lag. And I esceped to full screan and i felt my whole pc is lagging, whne I moved my mouse it tock like 5-30 sec before i got a response on the screen. Even to opend the tast manager with ctrl+shift+esc was hard for my pc, and then I got it opend there was nothing unusual. So my pc is so slow I most click in the restart button on the case to get it working again and the it runs normol for a week and it happens again. One time I turned off the pc like normal form the start menu when this happend and it took really long time to turn off the pc. It usualy take 5-10 sec but this time it took like 1-3 min. And when i turnd on my pc the morning after the problem was still there. When the problem happend I'm not doing somthing unusual, I'm just having some chrome tabs opend and that not usually any problem for my pc. I have ryzen 3700x and rog x570 and asus rtx 2070 super. I have windows 10 I have never got a error code. I can try next time it happend to film with my mobil.

Hello everyone: Someone is wrong with my machine, I just can't pinpoint what. Take a look @ the end of the post for specs. So, about 2 months ago, my computer began to lock up. CPU would spike to 100% utilization, and all programs would become unresponsive. The mouse cursor, always, would still be functional but clicking would do nothing. So, I have determined it is one of two issues: My CPU, or my SSD. My CPU is an I5 2500K, and I checked the temperatures. When the machine locks up, the temps remain unchanged, always under 40c. My SSD is a 2 year old ADATA SPX 900 512GB, but I am uncertain how to check if that is the device malfunctioning. I had this issue first occur on this machine when I had Windows 7. I figured, since the install was years old I had malware, so I did a clean install. This is a 2 month old install, and I have no malware. It is a legitimate copy of Windows 10. Thank you for the help, it is greatly appreciated. Full specs! Right, so, I've started noticing that recently my computer has been pretty laggy and stuttery for no apparent reason. While sitting on the desktop, I'll try to move my mouse, and the whole thing will freeze up for a moment, before finally responding. Sometimes it'll freeze up a couple times in a row before responding properly. I'm not sure what could be causing it, as I'm fairly certain there isn't really anything happening in the background that I don't know about. Task manager says the 2 most intensive things happening on my computer at any given time are Chrome and the Anti-Malware Exe from Windows Defender. My drives seem to be reasonably performing. My SSD has 113GB remaining (My OS and primary app drive) and my HDD RAID has 253GB left. The rest of my specs are in my Signature. Even as I'm typing this, the cursor keeps freezing as I'm hitting keys, but it never misses a keystroke and it always catches up. It's just super frustrating to deal with, and I'm hoping that someone might have an idea or suggestion that can help me fix this, or at the very least find out what's causing it. Many thanks in advance!

Hi guys, haven't posted here in a while, but I am having extremely annoying issues with my PC. Basically every time I go to start a game, or load any kind of program my entire computer basically micro freezes. It is really bad on games. Were it will take over 2-3 mins to actually unfreeze. It has been doing it ever since I built it and I have completely reinstalled windows to see if it would fix my issue and it is still plaguing me. Any help would be appreciated. So ive been building my own computers for a number of year but after building my new computer i installed windows 8.1 64bit and everything was going fine untill i tried to install my intel lan driver. The driver install hung and the computer froze and all i could do was hard restart it, so i did and tried again and still the same thing happens. I decided to just skip that for the time being and decided to install my sound card drivers and the same thing happened! so moving on again i tried my gpu drivers and what do you know the same freaking thing! After a little more trial and error i gave up and did a fresh install of windows just to make sure the first one didnt mess up some how. After windows was done installing again i tried everything over and it still doesnt work. For the life of me i have no idea what is going on and everything i have tried has got me no where. Everything else on the computer works just fine for the few things that i could get installed like google chrome. I can get on youtube and watch videos i can do everything online and its just fine. I even got prime 95 installed and ran it for a good 45 mins and it did just fine the heats were good and nothing froze. So any input would be awesome im at a loss here thanks. O and this is the second set of memory ive had in it since i thought the first set might of been the problem. The Computer specs are as follows, CPU - Core i7 4790k Motherboard - Asus Z97 Pro WI-FI ac Memory - 16gb Klevv 2133 Drive - SSD crucial m4 GPU - XFX r9 295x2 PSU - Corsair AX1200i and a few other odds and ends.

So my friends computer keeps freezing its locking up randomly and the only way to fix it is to hit the reset button on the case. There isn't any blue screens or anything it just locks up and you cant do anything. We've tested the ram sticks individually and it still froze both times. The CPU is water cooled so i don't think the CPU is just overheating. We also tried reinstalling windows 8 and re installed all the drivers for the motherboard and graphics card. it freezes most when he plays games like chivalry midevil warfare.
