Hello. i have a little problem, that is in some games very annoying in some i see just sometimes. thew problem is: i see at every light source in game like the game or my monitor, i do not know pulls the light through my screen in a transparent bar. the brighter the light the more visible this bar is that runs to the side of my monitor. I tried to play Clive Barker's Jericho now and in it this is visible and irritating i hope someone has a fix for it. Thank you. I'm attaching a video of how this issue looks like in Yakuza 7. The issue also appears in Judgment. The flickering only appears on TAA and the Default anti-aliasing setting (which I assume uses TAA). Quite a shame because TAA looks quite great in these games otherwise. Tried reinstalling the game, tried reinstalling my drivers. Tried toggling vsync on and off, tried all the g-sync settings on my LG ultragear 27gp850-b display. Tried two other monitors as well using both hdmi and displayport, same issue. Hello, I am working on a special build that has an aesthetic of a 60s/70s disco/blacklight poster. I have a general question about a RGB case lights. Can a RGB lights do a true UV black light like you would use to light up a poster or does it have to be limited to be specifically an only a UV black light? I am the same person that posted the build parameters but now I am just specifically looking for where I can buy the actual UVLED black light bar for the computer case itself. I don’t want to get one of those cheap strips, when you cut the length because they just look cheesy I am looking for something more like the type of a bar or you would mount on a wall but for a computer case. I tried looking on Amazon, but when I type in the parameters of UV LED black light bar for computer. It comes up with everything you would mount on a wall and that is too big to put inside a computer case. All suggestions appreciate it. Thank you.

Hello, recently my motherboards LEDs have been flashing orange. I‘ve been reading about this in the internet (PSU problem and so on), but im not facing any computer problems as of right now, so i’m not even sure what the problem is or how to fix it. I‘m not sure if it’s just a lighting problem and if these LEDs even act as the motherboards indicator LEDs. My motherbaord hasn’t been showing up in OpenRGB or MSI Mythic Light, so i‘m just clueless what to do with this. Maybe someone can help me out here. Thanks in advance. If u want a photo or video of the PC/ motherboard, just ask me.

Light, camera, action! But how to use the light? Hiya! I work from home full time, and unfortunately spend a lot of time in calls. While the vast majority of the people I have calls with won't expect or care for a "good quality image" - I do! I take pride in simple things like that, and have tried to have a good setup going on for a while now. I just can't seem to get the lighting tuned in right. It looks 'ok' these days, but the recent LTT video of youtuber pc setups made me question my lighting positions/usage (specifically when someone was called out for having a Key light aimed at the wall). I'm hoping that someone might have some good tips for me, as my google-fu has failed me so far. So this is what I'm working with in my office. - Small room / positioned myself in the corner. - Window just to the left of me and just above me. - Elgato lighting strip around desk (mostly for show :D) - Elgato keylight aimed at wall - Logitech C920 camera If I aim the elgato keylight at me I generally find it too bright to comfortably look at my screen/camera, even if the brightness is dropped down, perhaps it's just in the wrong place and should not be in front of me? I know the camera is pretty basic, but it is what I have. I certainly could upgrade if there is something out that that would be sure to fix it all. I'm not a streamer, just like nice things and do my job efficiently (hence the setup/tools). I keep the blinds closed when I am on camera as the non-natural lighting (fixed light form keylight) generally makes a big difference to not make me look like an alien. Picture for reference: Camera at the top of my monitor. Elgato Keylight in the middle at the back, aimed up (as I thought that worked best) Windows to the side and above me. Not relevant but in case people are wondering - I just got into VR with a Quest2 - so have that cable dangling there for the Link cable. I could have unhooked them to tidy them away - but did not. /shrug - Bed in my office? Madness! - Yes it is. Spare bed in case we have visitors, flipped it sideways (used ratchet straps on the mattress to prevent it from falling down) to a bit more space. Am going to build a fold-away bed on the wall there. - Waifu's!?. Yes. WFH perk, they keep my anger at bay and sanity at a reasonable level in my line of work. - 4 monitors? Yeah, I love it. have all 4 connected to work pc, can't imagine having less real estate space for everything. Only the 2 main (curved) monitors are connected to my home pc. 1 set of peripherals, go through a USB hub and USB switch. - That monitor arm there looks a bit tilted... Yes it does! Not a weight thing, a "DOH!!" thing. They are drilled into a frame I made, I derped and did not check if it was level before drilling it. Will fix that at some point, it just looks wrong (but is fine) - Nice chair! Thanks, getting a bit old unfortunately, it's wearing.

So I just got a new job working in a company's marketing department that previously ignored marketing all together. We're trying to push out more content to social media, and the equipment to do so is currently lacking. I would love some suggestions on all gear related to video creation. So cameras, lighting, sound, and anything else I could be missing. There isn't really a budget, but I don't think we need RED camera level quality just something that would look professional on socials. Max budget for everything would probable be around $3-5k Thanks! [Edit: For context, this is a SaaS company just looking to promote the product to more customers. For now, we're looking to just shoot around the office and some short testimonials and Q&A's to post to Youtube, LinkedIn, Instagram etc. I do want to be able to bring this equipment along to any conferences we will be at to shoot B-rolls or any substantial content. The marketing team is brand new, which is why I don't have a lot of context so, apologies. I am familiar with some camera equipment I've used DSLRs and mirrorless cameras in the past. But based on the equipment we already have in the office, it seems like 1-2 of us would actually know how to use any future equipment we buy]

So for a lighting project for a class I came up with an idea much like this forum post and i was wondering if it could be done. So far i have found 2 ways to do this A: Razer Chroma HDK: https://www.razer.com/gaming-pc-accessories/razer-chroma-hardware-development-kit/RZ34-02140300-R3M1 B: Use an Arduino or ESP8266 WiFi Microcontroller using these guides So is this possible? I only want a rgb strip for under my monitor that can be controlled by synapse so it syncs with my keyboard.

Got the last of my parts yesterday. Couple issues arose, one of them being one of four RAM sticks stopped lighting up.(3) I don't need help getting programs to work, I just want all four of my modules to light up. Between one DIMM not working with almost any pattern and having rainbows, I'll take the rainbows. Works great too, all 32gb. MB: Asus Crosshair 8 Dark Hero RAM: Trident Z Royal 4x8 - F4-3600C14Q-32GTRSB Note: Windows asked me repair my OS yesterday to, despite being a new install. Nervous first boot, everything looked great! Updated Bios, got a prompt to install Asus Armory Crate, so I did. Used it to install my drivers, played first game to "see what I bought". Not bad. Finally went into Armoury to play around with RGB, it's great. While personalizing Windows, it freaked out not showing anything in the menu when I went to turn on small icons. Tried to shutdown and I couldn't, cursor and menus "responded" but nothing actually worked, hard shutdown. This was when Windows wanted me to repair. Repair finished and Armoury Crate was missing, Steam was broken, and poor Teamspeak. Reinstall. Then really got into playing with RGB after installing Aura. It's really great! Noticed DIMM 3 was now out. Reboot. Only 3 DIMMS showing in Aura. Reboot. Now missing in Armoury. Reboot. Missing in WINDOWS. Swap 3 and 4. FIXED! 32gb RAM and RGB! While playing a game #3 goes out again. Turned off/on RGB, shutdown psu off for 3m, reinstalled Armoury and Aura, swap DIMMS 3 and 4. Same issue, good, it's software. Ignorantly thought G. Skills Software would help, installed G. Skill Lighting. (Forgot, don't have more than 1) Nothing. Uninstall Lighting, Aura and Armoury via Windows. Nothing. Read that I need to do it long hand. Did so with Revo Uninstaller Pro. No luck after full shutdown. Came back to the problem later, swap 3 and 4 again, now the issue followed the DIMM.. DIMM 4 is now out. That's where I'm at, thinking of doing a fresh Win install, read it might work. Mostly because I've read that there are few who are flashing their DIMMs? Something to do with SPD and re-binning, idk, it's above me and I just got this RAM I'd rather return/replace. Regardless, thank you for your time! Cheers!

One of my ram sticks rgb isn't connecting to anything other than asus aura, it wont even connect to the Gskill rgb software. when i remove the working stick, the problem is solved but as soon as i add it back in the rgb only works on one stick while the other is in a continuous rgb cycle. HELP, I JUST BUILT THIS PC 3 WEEKS AGO.

first, i hope this is the right section. if not i'll reask in the right section i have a small bookstore in minnesota and we want to do light strips across the top of the windows we want full control to be able to do specific patterns for holidays (im thinking pink/purple/red/white for valentines, green/yellow for st pattys, red/white/blue for the 4th, purple/orange for halloween, red/orange/yellow for turkeyday, and red/green for xmas, and then might just do unicorn farts for the rest of the year) so far my best option looks like the Govee brand, that would require buying the 16ft kit and 2 32ft kits, a bit much for the windows and their strips cant be cut because of their patented IC control chips that are on their strips im wondering if there are better options that would have the control to let me customize patterns from a phone or even if i need to connect a laptop to change patterns and then theyre stored, phone app would be easiest since these are 8ft windows so i'd have to be on a ladder if i need to connect USB to change patterns, im a big guy, i dont like ladders, less so while holding an expensive electronic i dont remember the exact window sizes but i think it was 13.5, 24.5 and 28.5, if i had strips i could cut to size (or at least close) it wouldnt matter, id be fine with a 15-16ft kit with controller, and a couple 30ft kits with two more controllers it would be nice if the brand also let me buy more controllers because i could take the cut off strips and another controller and do something with the checkout desk

This is going to be hard for me to describe assuming my pictures are not posted of this issue. I Generally see it happening in first person Mil-sim or "realistic gun games". I assume it has something to do with lighting. Anyway in-game I will see let's say a shelf or the corner of a wall and the edges will be moving up on down regardless if I move my character or not. Now in my pictures the vent on the door which is horizontal has the edges moving side to side. The shelf's obviously vertical, edges moving up and down. My main question is why is this happening? Would this be a known issue to the developers? Is this something to do with graphics cards or settings? My pc specs are I5-8600k, 32GB DDR4, GTX 1080, and a 4K monitor. My settings in game were 1440p on high settings. I had shadows on medium. The game I'm playing is Ground Branch (Alpha state) Any help is appreciated. 340739873_GroundBranch2021-05-2803-59-20_Trim.mp4

Hello, I'm looking to replace my RGB fans in my case to a new brand and a new hub/header thing whatever they're called. Im looking for 4x120mm to fit into my Raider case. Ideally, I'd like something that I can set to one solid colour rather than something that will cycle through the entire spectrum, I think this is called addressable RGB? Anyways, I don't want to buy the cheapest fans I can find, but I do want them to be as cheap as possible but still a reputable name. The entire global situation has taken its toll financially. The RGB fans I have are pretty much AI at this point, they decide what colour they want to be and when they want to be it so it's time for them to go I think, I'd get another hub header thing but these are 5 pin fans and apparently it's not easy to find a 5 pin box thing, hence my looking at a whole new fan set. Cheers!

Budget (including currency): $425 (slightly flexibly) Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 5 days a week (9hrs per day) working from home (using work laptop); primarily WebEx video conferencing. 7 days a week for ~2-3hrs in the evenings (except weekends where I may game for 8hrs one of the days), gaming, streaming, and chat, including CS:GO, Battlezone, Discord, OBS, with some Spotify. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already have a solid work from home and gaming set up (laptop and desktop, keyboard, mouse, USB switch, desk, network, etc), but lately I have been less than satisfied with my video streaming presence, especially in the lighting, audio, and background perspectives. I got some bonus $ from work, so I decided to invest in equipment that would upgrade both my video call presence and my game streaming experience. Here's what I already have in the areas that are relevant: Lighting: crappy basement florescent light that's off-center, and a window that is inconsistently useless. A small desk lamp that doesn't help Camera: Logitech C920 pro, for both work laptop and gaming desktop (USB switch). Works great if it has good light. Only need to change if I can fit something better in budget Audio: Work uses Cisco 562 multibase (thanks remote work); doesn't need upgrade. Gaming is done via a Logitech G533 wireless which is only good for battery life. Charges via Micro-b, earcups are uncomfortable after 2hrs, audio is ok, microphone is ok, build feels like it's gonna break. I want to upgrade Background: I have virtual backgrounds in WebEx but my poor work laptop can't handle them, so I need some furniture behind me to cover up wires and make my blank wall more 'interesting'. Gaming, I need to ask one of my graphic design friends to help me do some overlays in OBS, but a cheap shelf or 2 with some books (Expanse) and models (lego) may keep things interesting. Here are my constraints and goals: Audio has to be wireless; I often get up and walk around both when working and gaming. Wired is not an option. Speakers are not an option since I share my home and don't need everything being heard I have to spend something on background because I will be working from home for the foreseeable future and need to look a tad bit more 'professional' The lighting is the single biggest area that I need to upgrade since it varies so much throughout the day and night So here is what I am currently looking at: random $60 'end table' from somewhere Cheap blackout curtains E-smart LED lights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0859FD2QF/?coliid=I18W8QZGTRT2F5&colid=1KTW02A2HZNOW&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Logitech Pro-X wireless And that's most of my budget Anyone got any better ideas on what I should focus on for this upgrade? Thank you as always!

I have a logitech streamcam as a webcam for my computer. I am trying to set it up to get the best quality I can out of it for work conferencing and maybe one day streaming. I believe I have my lights set the way I want but the camera is doing something that I need help figuring out. with my lights on the image seems really bright (colors are good) but if I put my hand up between me and the camera the brightness goes down (I want this image from it) can anyone tell me what may be causing the change in brightness on the camera from just my hand going up (hand is not blocking my face from the light source). Any insight or help is appreciated!

I built this PC at the start of 2021. Using the included fan controller from the AIO plugged into my aRGB header I was able to control all LEDS from Polychrome (case, AIO, mobo, RAM). However, I didn't have a graphics card yet and was running Intel graphics. I noticed after installing my new graphics card that my RAM had reverted to rainbow. When I tried to use Polychrome, it didn't detect the RAM or Graphics card (options grayed out) and the aRGB header was not responding (acted like all was fine, but nothing changed in LEDs). I tried the select all option and the only LEDs Polychrome was able to grab were those directly on the mobo PCB. I was able to install Dragon Center to work with the graphics card and G Skill's program was able to detect the RAM, but the only was my AIO is currently able to be controlled is via the remote that came with my case controller. I've tried uninstalling all RGB controller software and reinstalling only Polychrome to no success. I've tried changing to another RGB header on my mobo. Nothing seems to be able to communicate to or detect the fan controller plugged into either aRGB header. I'm starting to wonder if my cable connecting the fan controller to the aRGB header is faulty? Any troubleshooting tips or insight much appreciated! Sorry in advance for my bad english (i am a german native speaker) The Situation The Company i work in started streaming live events a couple of weeks ago. I build a streaming Pc and picked out the greenscreen and 2 studio lights. The Camera we are using is pretty old and does FHD1920x1080 30FPS; The Problem With the current setup if i turn on the lights OBS shows a lot of artifacts and shadows on the greenscreen (i think that happens because it is not evenly lit). With the lights of the Person at the standing desk is too dark and artifacts still show up from time to time. So i definitely need help with the type of lighting equipment i need and where i have to place it. Advice for a new video camera to pick would also be much appreciated. Money isn't really a problem(i don't need to cheap out and buy a 100€ Camera but i also don't want to pay like 4000€ xD) I would really appreciate any advide you can give me. All images of the room can be found under this url -> Google Drive The studio lights we are currently using -> https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01N4E8Q5X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title The greenscreen we are using -> https://www.elgato.com/de/green-screen-mt

As the title says, I own a Asus TUF Z490 board that has 2 RGB headers (4 pin 12v each). I also have a regular RGB strip (12v, R, G, B), currently connected to an electrical outlet via a 12v adapter/controller that comes with it. My question is, is it safe to connect this strip to the board directly? If yes, how will the lighting function? Thank you guys.

Hi Everyone, I need everyone's help and that is only when you can. So lately I have been looking for ways to build my own workstation. For my personal workstation for my line of work it needs to be one that's capable of 3D modeling and render so I'm able to make props, armor, statues of comic book characters or for board games, work on my diorama of the fictional towns/country I'm building. While at the same time I need it will allow me to do some graphic design, adobe illustrator, and other stuff for scenery backgrounds for either theatre and possibly film production. I'd also like my workstation to give me the opportunity to draft, edit video, photos, audio and music. I'd also like to be able to sync up my devices with my workstation, play video games and video chatting with friends and coworkers, and some other stuff. Any help will be greatly appreciated. The list below are some of the software I'll be using. Microsoft Home & Business, Armorsmith Designer, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fusion 360, Adobe After Aftects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, AutoREALM, Blender, Celtx, Cue Player Premium, ETC Lighting, GNU Image Manipulation Program, Inkspace, OBS Studio, OptiTrack, Pepakura Designer 4, Pro Tools, SFX, Show Cue System, SketchUP, Skype/Zoom, VenueMagic, Vectorworks, vRigger, and Zbrush. Please feel free to contact me as soon as you can. There is absolutely no rush. Thanks PS I know it's a lot of software but for my line of work they will help me.
