Hello. i have a little problem, that is in some games very annoying in some i see just sometimes. thew problem is: i see at every light source in game like the game or my monitor, i do not know pulls the light through my screen in a transparent bar. the brighter the light the more visible this bar is that runs to the side of my monitor. I tried to play Clive Barker's Jericho now and in it this is visible and irritating i hope someone has a fix for it. Thank you. Hey guys, for a bit of context, I am a casual gamer who used to play 2 to 3 times per week casual egames and AAA on a Lenovo legion I5. Nowadays I play mainly on consoles so my laptop primary use is mainly for working (office, light programming, emailing) and light gaming on the go when traveling. It's a big and heavy laptop so I'm selling it in order to get something more optimize for traveling (my back would appreciate). Which options are available that are slim/light that also pack a punch for casual gaming (Ready or Not, The finals, forza motorsport). My budget is up to 2000$. I'm looking for that bang for the buck or price/value ratio. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

My friend and I just got an original xbox and after purchasing a power cord because it was missing it, we tried to boot it up and it had no display and a solid orange ring around the disc eject button. What does this mean, and is anything broken/in need of prepare? Thanks!

I currently have a Razer Blade 15 2018 with a 1060, 144hz screen, i7, SSD and all that jazz. It is great BUT it's fairly heavy and runs the fans doing anything more than surfing the web or watching videos. I'm looking to I guess downgrade to a thinner, lighter laptop that doesn't require active cooling, I'm talking MacBook style stuff with basically no vents (along the bottom at least) with minimal fan noise. Just hate having to worry about the vents on the bottom getting smothered if I'm watching a film in bed or something. Not too fussed on the specs as I'm going to be using it for web browsing and some RuneScape at most really. I can get £600 for the Blade 15 from a trade-in shop near me so that is about my budget but by all means recommend whatever and if it's worth it I can throw some cash on top. I'm not picky about OS either, if grabbing an Apple product makes sense then I will do but obviously Windows laptops are more plentiful at reasonable budgets. Thanks!

Hi all, I am coming to you all with quite possibly the most first world problem there is. I have had this issue for about 6 months now and always just ignored it but I thought I might as well get some opinions and see what you all think it could be. Anyhow, I have a MSI RTX 3090 with an EKWB on it, and about 6 months ago when the power went out while gaming, ever since then a random RGB light on the actual card itself can't be controlled. Currently the RGB connector isn't even plugged into the motherboard for the waterblock RGB so I know it isn't the block lighting, because the rest of the block lighting isn't even on but that is fine. Anyway I wasn't sure at the time if it was software related or not. I have tried reinstalling the motherboard RGB software, and fully reinstalling Windows, and no matter what light colour I set it always plays the colour cycling as shown in the video. Is it possible that when the power went out it killed a controller or something? Now this doesn't effect performance at all so it isn't the end of the world but I thought I would see if there is anyone out there who might know. Thank you GPU RGB.mp4

So i recently purchased a new macbook pro with the m1 chip. Awesome display but I noticed Light areas of the screen will bleed into black areas of the screen. For example if I full screened a black image with white text in the middle, The text would bleed light into the black areas causing somewhat of an Aura around the text. Is this a common thing on these new screen technologies? I never noticed it on my old macbook or even my newish lg IPS monitor.

if the video isn't working, try this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G5D9S-fBTxCVR5WDPjr6NQ9ObsqFC_-H/view?usp=sharing ^^ an image that shows the radeon light is turned on ^^ (I took this photo while using my computer) So I just noticed this problem recently when I turned off my monitor and took a bath and returned to my PC and saw that the RADEON red lights are turned OFF. It also turns ON for like 3-5 seconds and turns OFF again at a random interval. Now, the light turns back on when I move the mouse and continue using the PC and does not happen when I am using the PC.I am assuming that my pc isn't on sleep mode based on this video because I can still hear my music playing. I can reproduce the problem by not using my computer and leaving it in idle for like 30 minutes. Hey guys. I have recently noticed that after unplugging the power cable from my PC for a couple of minutes (30 as an example), if I just plug it back in and turn ON my PC, then the motherboard shows the VGA light and can take a couple of minutes to boot up. I have an Asus Z490-H. Booting up usually takes less than 10 seconds as the system is installed in a Samsung 970 EVO Plus. The graphics card and everything should be fine as I have never had problems while gaming or anything, so basically it is just the issue with the light on the motherboard and boot time. Is this expected somehow?

Ive been wanting to go all-out on rgb but i want to be able to turn on everything from a distance. That way i can see everything light up from far away and i can actually enjoy it more as opposed to have everything light up when im close to my pc. Im no home improvement guy. But is there a way to connect your power button to a wall switch? Or a motion sensing switch? Or maybe itll turn on when it senses my phone is close? Idk roast me if my ideas are naive XD.

I've been trying to play Dying Light 2 in my laptop and in almost every 5-10 seconds, GPU and CPU voltage throttling regardless of what's happening on screen. My config is given at the bottom. Note : The CPU (i7 11370H) is a 35 Watt CPU and the GPU (RTX 3060) is a 80 Watt (+5 Watt smart boost) GPU. While monitoring with Afterburner in game, I saw even if I'm staying still or running or hitting enemies, the CPU & GPU goes to 33+ W and 83 W respectively. And in every 5-10 seconds they would fall back to 20-ish and 40-ish W respectively for a few seconds. And then the game would stutter as FPS would drop from upper 50s to the 10s or 20s. Note: The GPU is the one that has been throttling the most and the voltage in some very rare occasions spikes to 100+ W for half a seconds and throttles back to the 40s. Is this a game issue or is there something with my laptop? My config: Model : ASUS TUF Dash F15 GPU FX516PM CPU: i7 11370H GPU: RTX 3060 RAM: 16 GB DDR4 (Soldered)

Hey! I'm finally in the market for a laptop and I've been poking around for a bit and I can across the Asus Zenbook 14 and it's in my price range. I have been searching but I can only seem to find 1 skew. I could of sworn I hear people talk about and i7 version or a version with 16gb of ram but I cannot seem to fine one. My budget is around $800 USD and I am a programmer. I also hope to do light gaming like Civ, Starbound, Minecraft. I also use a lot of Photoshop and premiere pro. If anyone has any recommendations for me, I would appreciate it https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-zenbook-14-2-8k-oled-laptop-intel-evo-platform-12th-gen-core-i5-processor-8gb-memory-256gb-ssd-ponder-blue-ponder-blue/6494331.p?skuId=6494331&irclickid=TAYQEcyc2xyLWAL0EkzjZTwgUkD3teQ92XIx0k0&irgwc=1&ref=198&loc=Ultra Media Services SRL&acampID=0&mpid=3266744
