I have used this same headset before about a week ago on my desktop and it worked fine. I tried earphones and they worked fine too. Now I have tried both on my desktop and neither of them have audio coming from both sides. I tried the headset on two other devices and it worked fine, same with the earphones. I opened up my PC to see if my audio cable is loosely connected to my MB but it seemed to be fine. I did some experimenting and I noticed that if I put in my headphones as far as the second ring of the 4 pole headset jack, I get audio in both sides but no surround sound. If I put the whole jack in with the sleeve, then I have the problem of only hearing sound on the left side and not the right side. The sound is balanced equally on left and right in the settings. I'm hoping it's not a hardware problem as I've recently built this PC about 2 months ago and have barely had the chance to use it. How could I resolve my issue?

I have my Razer Kraken now for two years and suddently my left earcup is louder then my right earcup. I've tried to blance it but windows 10 doesn't show the balance setting and balancing with Realtek doesn't do anything. On other devices my headset has the same problem. What do I need to do?

So, I bought the HyperX Cloud Stinger. It's cheap. but it's fine, the build quality is fine, the audio is great, the mic sounds good, the comfort is good too. Then after 6 days (I don't really know) the audio just sounded so strange, The Right side has more bass and is louder than the Left side. It's frustrating and bothers me a lot. Please help, thanks!

Gaming mouse, Large left-hander 20cm, Need Some help?!
Mr_Heisenberg13 posted a topic in Peripherals
So i'm trying to decide on buying a new mouse... I'm currently using an E-blue cobra (not Junior) Size:126*63.7*38.6mm and while its good for the price I want something with a better senor, and a lager size, I'm claw/palm hybrid gripping the cobra and using it on a low DPI. previously I've used 2000+ dpi which has resulted in some RSI stuff so i'm finding a lower dpi (400-800) is forcing me to move in a more compound motion instead of isolating the movement just to my wrist. I've tried using the Logitech G303 (That 3366 sensor tho...) and this is what caused the Rsi crap in the first place, I mean for me it's like navigating an ant... such a shame I loved how it performed but no, its tiny, awkward to hold and hurts Every time I use it Sooo that leaves me back to square one, I still have yet to find a decent LARGE mouse which is ambidextrous, not bothered about the side buttons so long as the mouse is symmetrical. I would like something with a PixArt 3360 sensor, the only thing ive found is a Nixeus REVEL but that's only 125mm long so I don't know if it'll do or not? it might be ok though since its wider than what i'm using? The other thing ive found is the Cougar 450M that is 135(L) X 67(W) X 40(H) mm BUT has an inferior sensor (PMW3310) and is the same price give or take. Suggestions very welcome. Just to add I feel palm grip is going to be the way forward for me. I'm going to include some photos of my mouse grip for reference. https://postimg.org/gallery/11l84c93i/ https://s14.postimg.org/67za0psep/IMG_20161012_133709.jpg https://s14.postimg.org/sl70nitch/IMG_20161012_133714.jpg https://s14.postimg.org/45ysmgufl/IMG_20161012_134117.jpg https://s14.postimg.org/4wris8wsx/IMG_20161012_134120.jpg https://s14.postimg.org/v6clb1iq9/IMG_20161012_134122.jpg https://s14.postimg.org/bd52w2uq9/IMG_20161012_135327.jpg Many thanks Olly. Hello everyone, Today my sound started to act up. When i plug in my regular 'jack'-headset i have nice stereo sound. If i plug in my USB-headset (Razer kraken pro 7.1), i only get sound through the left side. BUT It gets weirder ... when i plug in my 7.1 surround sound system (via HDMI on my motherboard) i get sound trough all the speakers, BUT only music, speech / dialogue seems to be muffled all the way into the background. So watching series is a nightmare ... Things i have tried: -> uninstalled Razer synapse and Razer surround. -> uninstalled any other sound related software i could find (Realtek HD audio manager) -> checked to make sure that balance is equal to left and right sound within windows. (Properties -> level -> balance) Using Windows 10 x64, other details of my set up you should be able to find on my profile. Thank you for trying to help! If you have any follow-up question do not hesitate to ask!

Using a 2-Male RCA adaptor cable I connected my stereo speakers to my monitor. That worked great. I later decided to try to connect my speakers to my motherboard. As I unplugged the speakers, I forgot to turn them off. Now, my left speaker no longer seems to work (no audio) with the motherboard nor the monitor. I have ordered a new adaptor cable, as I suspect that it's damaged. But I'm concerned if it's something more serious. Perhaps the speakers themselves sustained damage? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan opened a Facebook group to get another Left-Handed Edition of the Razer Naga going. Razer will have you covered, a 12 side button mouse made for us left-handed people. Sadly this will be the last attempt for Razer to deliver on a left-handed mouse, unless the demand gets way up. So please join the Left Handed Naga Group and declare your interest. Also tell your friends, or anyone really, the word needs to get around. Hi, I'm looking for a mouse that can scroll sideways. I like that the apple mice can scroll sideways however I don't love those mice and also have a PC. Is there any mice that have a similar scroll ball or anything that can scroll left and right too? I'm tired of pressing shift.

I have Asus Sabertooth X79 motherboard with on board ALC892 chip and my speakers are Audio Pro Addon Five. I got the latest Realtek driver too. How can I swap left and right channels so I can place my left speaker to the right side of my two monitors and visa versa? I used to be able to do this easily on some older Realtek Windows drivers, but couldn't find it on Windows 7 or Windows 10 era. Can't find any settings on the drivers to reverse stereo. If there is no easy way to do this then fear not I am going to build a new rig later with possibly Asus ROG motherboard with on board SupremeFX (Realtek ALC1150 I presume?). Any clue if that Asus piece of software can swap my channels? Sorry for my bad English. I'm no a native speaker and therefore cannot be hold accountable. Ha. Thanks in advance!

I am currently looking for a left handed gaming mouse for my PC. I have looked on a good many different sites and have not had much luck in my search. I was wondering if any of you had some suggestions.

Hey, guys. So I am a lefty. I write left handed, I play sports left handed and I do pretty much everything left handed. However, I have always used my mouse right handed. I've just never tried using it in my left hand. So my question is, have any of you lefties found any advantage for left handed people to use their mouse left handed or should I just stick to what I'm used to? I suppose it would be useful just to be used to right handed mice so that I don't have to buy ambidextrous mice, but what ever. Thanks!

I installed Windows 8.1 on an early 2014 MacBook Air through Bootcamp and the physical left click button sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I know it is not a hardware issue because the left click works fine in Mac OS X Mavericks. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hey forum, I'm currently in safe mode (my eyes hurt) and that is because my mouse, or I should say something on the software level related to the mouse, just went completely haywire and is about to make me do the same. I get this random clicking about 3-5 times a second, very fast, and the left- and rightclick seem to be taking turns with it. It started about an hour ago when my mouse started holding the leftclick even after I had let the physical button go. From there it rapidly got worse until I am now at the point where I can only use the PC in safe mode, because I can't even enter my windows password because of the clicking. It's not a hardware problem, I've already tested a different mouse and everything works fine in safe mode. I personally suspect it may be a virus, even though I can't remember downloading anything from any sketchy websites, lately. But the way it started slowly and became so bad it rendered the whole computer pretty much useless, it just smells like virus to me. I have Avast! and its on auto-update, so I'm not sure how that got past, but anyways... Now I'm stuck in safe mode and don't know what to do. I'm currently letting Avast run a complete scan and hope it finds something. Has anybody had this problem before, any ideas on what it could be and what I can do to get rid of it ASAP? I hate safe mode...

Original story here : http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?481437-No-Man-Left-Behind "Twelve years ago I met this guy at work, who shared common interests in PC hardware & PC gaming so we became friends. I introduced him to this PC hardware enthusiast site which had a Gaming forum where a casual gaming group called the Fragging Frogs lived. That was Feb 2002. He joined the forums and the Fragging Frogs and has been a gaming regular ever since. The member I'm talking about is Tom, aka tlemaste or Kernal_Tom on the "Battlefield" Back then when many of us joined PC Perspective it was actually an AMD focused site called amdmb.com, and it was here that many of us got our love for AMD hardware. For me, I was always impressed with the value/performance AMD offered. Eventually the site changed to pcper.com and became a more generally focused PC enthusiast site. Over the years Tom continued to be dedicated to the AMD brand, while many of our members switched to Intel CPUs - we called that "going over to the dark side" In those days, like most of us, Tom enjoyed upgrading his rig to play the latest games. That's usually easy to do when you are working, but Tom was regrettably forced into an early retirement. Tom will be the first to tell you that being on a fixed and limited income doesn't allow for many of those system upgrades. Tom now has an aging rig that is just so-so at playing modern games like Battlefield 4, and Battlefield 3 before that. I should mention that the Frogs have a history of helping each other out passing around excess hardware when possible - in fact, Tom's current rig contains a video card, RAM, and a hard drive given to him by other Fragging Frogs. Being one of our more "senior" gamers hasn't stopped Tom from being a very dedicated member of the Frogs and to PC gaming. To this day he still games regularly every week and can always be found on TeamSpeak. Even personal hardship doesn't get in the way of his love for gaming. In 2011 Tom's house was flooded (the 2nd time his house was flooded in just 5 years) although fortunately his gaming rig was spared! While cleanup efforts were underway, Tom needed a place to stay so he and his wife lived with my family for a few weeks. I remember it well - his PC was setup on my kitchen table with a long network cable running to a wall port in the living room For those few weeks that's how he attended our gaming nights. I wanted to share some background info about Tom because I have some exciting news to share. As most of you know we have an offical AMD representative among us, Sam aka Warsam71. Besides his official duties here Sam also has a love of gaming and joins us occasionally to play Battlefield 4. I approached Sam about Tom's situation and he generously offered to help. Help how you may ask ..... ? In honor of Tom's dedication to gaming, the Fragging Frags and his ongoing devotion to AMD, our friends at AMD have presented Tom with a BRAND NEW custom built all-AMD high-end gaming rig !!! Check out these impressive specs: AMD FX-9370 8-core CPU Corsair H100i liquid cooling system ASUS RoG Crosshair V Formula Z motherboard AMD Radeon DDR3-2133 16GB (2 x 8GB) Memory Diamond Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB GPU Samsung 250GB 840Pro SSD Antec High Current Power 750W PSU Bitfenix Ronin case After several weeks of planning I was finally able to present the rig to Tom on Friday Feb 14 - making it a Valentine's Day gift from AMD It was a complete surprise to Tom. It took several minutes for the shocked look to leave his face. I'd like to specifically thank Sam for making it all happen and James at AMD for doing such a great job on the build of Tom's rig. Please join me in congratulating Tom on his new AMD rig and thanking our friends at AMD for making it all happen."

Right. So i have a problem that i can't find the solution to myself.. I googled it and got a bunch of threads without solutions. It all began when i booted up ubuntu on my main rig. At that point i noticed that the mouse pointer had gone completely nuts. And kept jumping to the top left corner of the screen. I don't understand why. I've been running the same hardware and there have been no noticable changes to ubuntu before this happened. When i couldn't find any solution to the problem i reacted as you might expect.... So i gave in and thought "Hey. Fedora has been working fine on my laptop. Let's try that instead!" I formatted the harddrive containing ubuntu and i went through the installation process without any issues. But then i noticed... .....It had exactly the same problem... Anyone have any suggestions as to what i could do to fix this?
