  1. Hello! Yesterday I spent the whole day modeling in 3D the leak of the RTX 3080, I published it on this website: https://elchapuzasinformatico.com/2020/06/la-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-podria-llegar-con-el-silicio-ga102-200-con-4352-cuda-cores/ , the posts are from yesterday, but at first I didn't plan to share it on other sites, so know that I've changed my mind I want to publish them here too Here is the CAD model:

  3. A Hong Kong-based outlet has acquired 10th gen Intel Comet Lake S parts, complete with fully functional boards, BIOS and microcodes. The i7 is just more of the same (basically a 9900K rebrand) while the real shitstorm are the lower end CPUs. The i5 appear to be standard 6/12 affairs with disappointing performance even compared to Zen 2, I can only imagine how much worse they'll get annihilated when Zen 3 comes in a few months. As expected, LGA1200. I can already imagine Intel executives' mouths watering at the prospect of selling yet more chipsets. EDIT: Comet Lake-S PL2 and PL1 limits revealed. OUCH. That's just absurd. THOUGHTS: Disappointing, very disappointing. I hoped at least some cache or clock improvements would push these CPUs further but, as it stands, they're no better than existing 9000 series models. THOUGHTS 2: Power Overwhelming [Cheat Enabled} Source 2:https://www.notebookcheck.net/Comet-Lake-S-may-require-hefty-CPU-coolers-Core-i9-10900F-shown-to-have-a-170-W-PL1-TDP-and-224-W-PL2-for-a-4-6-GHz-all-core-boost.460196.0.html Source: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Hong-Kong-outlet-leaks-Comet-Lake-S-performance-review-i7-10700-i5-10600K-i5-10500-and-i5-10400-go-up-against-AMD-Ryzen-3700X-3600X-and-Coffee-Lake.459680.0.html
  4. HI so i have attached photos of all the programs in my task manger. I feel like my RAM is being sucked up some how ive tried to restart tired to look things up my windows is up to date im running windows 10 64 bit. I am at a loss do all these programs need to running is there a way if needed for them to be disabled? did one of the windows updates have a memory leak like the past I just dont know playing games like MC have definitely seemed worse. Thank you in advance!
  5. Hello new member here asking for help ! :) I have a 16gb Memory setup. currently my ram, with only 1 chrome tab open is sitting at 14gb. Processes show chrome being the top memory eating sitting at 500MB and next to it is the Anti Malware Executable sitting at 20MB. There is no way that all my processes total to 14GB of memory. Actually i have been observing this lately, when ever i dont restart/turn off my computer for weeks the ram usage would slowly creep up. I know for sure that this is some program/drivers leaking memory. A;though a restart solves this problem. But i think its time that i address this problem. How do i find this program? also if you recommend a software it must be usable without restarting the computer because this would cause everything to reset and my ram would go back to its normal 4 or 5 GB of usage. It would take weeks again for this to go up again. Thank you for your help
  6. Heyo, Im testing out my pc with back up parts after an aio leak a couple of days ago but my monitor doesn't seem to be getting any signal. Im noticing this steady orange light when i turn it on. Everything was turned off when the leak happened and from what i can tell, my gpu took all the coolant (leak was more of a consistent dripping spaced a few minutes from each other). I've soaked up everything that i could and allowed everything to air dry for more than 48 hours. Im testing it out to see which are damaged so it can be replaced by my aio warranty. Any idea why im not getting any display? Any methods i should to rule out other causes? Edit: I just noticed there's also a solid red light at the bottom right corner of the mobo below the gpu. Edit 2: the orange led says DRAM and the bottom red led says SB_PWR.
  7. https://www.extremetech.com/extreme/303964-leaked-gpu-specs-suggest-xbox-series-x-substantially-more-powerful-than-ps5 Of course Xbox Series X is going to be more powerful than PS5 because it is literary a PC and a console fuse together like Goten and Trunks fuse together but I hope PS5 will do a comeback from this because I don't like PS5 losing ground to Xbox Series X. I prefer the name PS5 than Xbox Series X. I think the Xbox Series X price is not going to be affordable from all these high end parts cost and labor.
  8. Leaked out of CES 2020, the RTX 2080 Super Max-Q has been spotted inside an engineering sample laptop. This Reddit post shows the GPU listed under the Device Manager application of the engineering sample.
  9. Hi guys, Ive built a new pc recently and have experienced a complication. Parts list: • thermaltake p7 case • Gigabyte aorus motherboard • gigabyte aorus gpu • thermaltake psu 1050 plat • team force ram • thermaltake pacific radiators (allum) • thermaltake pacific fittings • thermalktake resivour D5 pump combo kits • thermaltake petg pipe I think thats all that is relevant, as far as i can tell the only cross metal contamination is the copper fittings and alloy rads. The copper fittings are painted though with no metal exposed. The gpu and cpu both seem to have mostly plastic composition of the waterblock. Ive tried researching what the heat transfer plates are made of and if they are exposed to the coolant but have not made any significant findings. ( if someone knows i would appreciate the info, im guess either nickel or some other material similar) which would add to the cross contamination. So i got the pc built, ive taken my time doing work in small doses checking everything twice and re making anything that does not look 100% On startup no issues, installed windows and away she goes. spent some time installing nividia platform/ updated drivers. Few other bits temp monitors system run down and rgb software (anti rainbow software) ha. Prior i did leak test th system for a few hours with the psu jumped and no power anywhere else, just with distilled water. Three days gaming no issues and excellent performance. Get home from night shift pc will turn on but turns straight back off with a waring stating a leak has been detected, instant panic check every fitting check blocks shine a torch around mobo/ gpu. No issues dry as a whistle. So i google and find out the mobo has a very well know issue to throw false codes. Suggestions to either unplug the rgb/leak detect plug or unscrew then re install leak detect screw. Well i turn the pc off before it shuts down to tired to try the fix so i go to bed thinking it ca wait. Also while this was going on the pc would only boot if the water loop was unplugged from psu, so all fans/rgb/pumps run off two headers. Get up later in the day an elbow has blown off water everywhere on the floor and desk nothing on the pc except small dots of spray that have dried up, very small but also many of them. Fix loop, pc wont boot. I cant remember if it wouldnt boot of the morning but i think it would. So this leads me to think something has been damaged by the water. Mobo or psu. So my partners brother who works in IT and pc repair is coming next week to test components and help me out in general. What im looking for here is an explanation on the pressure build up, i have three theorys in mind so far. • 1 pumps on to high speed. Both were on setting 5 which is 160 litres an hour in my case. • 2 air getting in some how loose fitting ect • 3 mixed metals. Allum copper and possible nickle but all surfaces seem painted or coated. Ive since turned the pump do to setting 2 which is roughly 70-80 lph. Replaced coolant with the stuff i originally bought but was waiting to make sure i was happy with all tube placemnet before using, this stuff has corrosion inhibitors and biocides. Re bent 2 tubes that were maybe a fraction off dead staight onto fitting ao they are now 100%. Ive only been able to run it for 20min since then and seems to have less pressure but is also cold and after a short run time. What did i do wrong guys? Well i know what i did wrong but did it cause the build up of pressure? Photos of the loop, blocks pipes the lot. Of it before and after coolant. Of new glow speed, of fitting that blew. And of the loop in test mode with psu jumped.
  10. I’m not sure if I want to do fan , aio or tubing . Would the aio leak? I’m planning on getting the 2080ti and the intel 9900k im sure water would be the best deal . I’m kinda worried about leaks or fixing leaks . Will it get more worst if I fix the leak . Removing and putting them back in . Or when I maintain it . What should I do fan aio or tubing ?
  11. Hundreds of thousands of IoT cameras from Apexis and their daughter brand Sumpple, sold mostly on Amazon and cheap webshops like AliExpress and Wish, can be accessed by anyone thanks to a database leak. The info in the database consists of email addresses and passwords, which allows anyone to connect to any of the cameras in the database. Apparently the camera's location data is also stored there, so it shouldn't be hard to find out which exact house you are spying on. The big problem lies in the database itself, which is secured by a password that appears in most "bad password" lists (so probably "monkey123" or "123456"). The data inside the database is also stored unencrypted. Once they enter the email address and password of a camera, intruders can control said camera, talk through the built-in speaker or simply watch and record the audio and video feed. (quote translated from the original Dutch article) This was discovered by hacker collective The Arcanum Group, who responsibly disclosed this to Apexis and Sumpple in early August. Because neither company bothered to reply or even change the database's password, they have now gone public. Apexis and Sumpple have been contacted by RTL News, the original source of the story, but both companies don't want to reply. Seeing as changing your password doesn't help, it looks like permanently unplugging the cameras is the only solution. Source : RTL News (in Dutch, will add English sources later tonight when this story gets more international coverage) English translation available at brica.de This is really bad. It looks like security really was an afterthought and the lack of response shows that they simply don't care. A lot of people who are not tech-savvy will have these cameras and never find out. And then there will be those that use the same password for their email account ... As Steve Gibson always says, the "S" in "IoT" stands for "Secure".
  12. Hello Linustech! So I made the stupidest, most shameful mistake I can think of in the world of AIOs. First build by the way. Decided on the Corsair H100i RGB Platinum SE all in one liquid cooler for my 3700x. I do not know what possessed me to think I had to unscrew the copper heatsink plate to change out the Intel bracket for the AMD bracket, but I did it (should have read the instructions, I know). There is 8 screws, after unscrewing 4, liquid began to appear. Not a lot, just a couple little drops in total of this whole ordeal. I immediately screwed the screws back in, but now there appears to still be a little bit of liquid in the crevice between the copper and plastic (attached image), and if I shake the pump it will drip out. Fast forward to next day afternoon, that side of the pump sat upside down overnight, no liquid came out, and shaking it now doesn't show as much liquid, and it doesn't drip, just barely visible. My question is probably obvious, do I have anything to worry about? I am knowledgeable with computer hardware, just not the realm of liquid cooling, and don't want to risk my whole system. A friend told me I should just RMA it and say that it leaks, but if I can save time and hassle by asking here, I figured it worth a shot. Thank you!
  13. Hi everyone, So I recently acquired a Dell UP2715k from my work, since it was damaged it was going to be thrown out so I brought it home. As you can see in the pictures, it works totally fine, with the only issues being the crack and the bubble formed in the top left corner. I'd like to salvage it if I can, does anyone know if it would be possible to replace the glass somehow, or repair it some other way? It would be a shame for it to not get used, it's a gorgeous 5k 10 bit display. Thanks in advance! Monitor: https://www.dell.com/ae/business/p/dell-up2715k-monitor/pd
  14. In case you missed it, NVIDIA 2 weeks ago had posted a video clip from its GeForce account on YouTube with the caption, "Something super is coming..." Despite the fact that not much was revealed in the 16-second clip: Source: https://hothardware.com/news/nvidia-super-geforce-rtx-turing-lineup-specs-leaked I suspected in the original thread, and suggested, that these "SUPER" cards most likely were going to be cards with more CUDA Cores, and faster GDDR6. We'll have to see how it plays out, but this is the most sensible route for a refresh of Turing. We saw some Pascal cards that had faster memory, as well as a card like the 1070 Ti (with more CCs) which slotted in nicely between the 1070 and 1080; making the concept not too outlandish. Aside from that, it is purported that these "SUPER" Turing refreshes will launch sometime in July. Therefore, I imagine as we get closer to that date, we should see some more leaks; conceivably even performance leaks or more concrete specifications. Little update: Source 2: https://videocardz.com/81046/nvidia-geforce-rtx-20-super-series-to-launch-mid-july As we get closer to the supposed reveal of these products, we have an update on the "expected" prices of the SUPER cards: Source 3: https://www.tweaktown.com/news/66332/nvidia-geforce-rtx-super-pricing-799-599-429/index.html
  15. Hello, I am currently deciding on a CPU cooler for a build I have planned. At the moment I'm looking at the NZXT Kraken X42, it fits in the case, cools CPUs and looks cool. Now my questions are: - Has anyone had problems with this AIO or any AIO from NZXT before? - What is the chance that it will leak? - What if it leaks? And - Do you think its worth it? (Im going for a build with lots of RGB, thats why) Thanks!
  16. This is really exciting. It will most likely be introduced in tomorrow's E3 keynote. I would guess prices to be around $650-$700 https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-ryzen-9-3950x-to-become-worlds-first-16-core-gaming-cpu
  17. Hello fellow people of the internet! I am posting this because I am currently deciding between a 2700x and a 8700k for a build. Well while doing research I came across this on UserBenchmark. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-8700K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-3600/3937vs4040 It claims the 3600 is going to be 200 dollars and is only performs 2% according to there chart. Fake news or possibly leak?

  19. fake or not ? 16gb of memory will be too much for a 1170 I would say max 12 gb otherwise it will cost too much the memory speed looks good quotes A benchmark result of the unreleased Nvidia GTX 1170 graphics card has appeared online. As is the trend among all these early GeForce ‘leaks’, the image consists of a phone camera snap of a screen... so its authenticity is questionable at best. Nevertheless, here’s what the latest ‘leak’ indicates. The image consists of a skewed 3DMark result (22989) , half obfuscated by a benchmark window. What we can gather is that the run was supposedly carried out on a single Nvidia GTX 1170 graphics card with an incredible 16GB of memory. Too incredible, in fact… but we’ll get to that. The GPU was running at 2,512MHz, while the memory bus clock was running at 2,552MHz. source https://www.pcgamesn.com/nvidia-gtx-1170-3dmark-leak update It seems we have a release day on the 1170, 1180, 1160 ,1180+ quotes GeForce GTX 1180 on 30th August GeForce GTX 1170/1180+ in 30th September GeForce GTX 1160 on 30th October You'll notice a 1180+. We're not sure about it, but are fairly certain that the GeForce GTX 1180: 30th August launch would be a founders edition, and the + very likely is a board partner board, AIB cards always launch later. All this info makes that email sound plausible (but really also could very well be tremendously fake). The email also mentions 21st August for a press conference call, for the partners. source http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/geforce-gtx-1180-announced-late-august-11801170-and-1160-to-follow.html
  20. Hello all so yesterday I had my Corsair H105 leak on me. I was replacing the thermal paste and the fittings came loose when i tried to move the tubes up to get to the bottom screws of the CPU block. I'm a little confused as to what to do next as everything online recommends different things and different materials to help clean the water out. The computer was unplugged and off for several hours before the spill occurred by the way. I removed and de-socketed everything I could think of. I even took apart the GPU and my main SSD to see if water got in there... it did but not a lot. I also have some airflow over the components via a window mounted AC unit and a fan pointed directly on the components Should I bathe all my comments in isopropyl alcohol given their current status or use some other cleaning material? Common sense would lead me to believe the alcohol would do the trick since it evaporates quickly and it would help rid any water that I cant see. But there are people out there that say it can hurt the components. Any help would be appreciated since I want the best possible chance of not bricking any hardware. Thanks in advance and the specs are below: i5-6600k OC 4.5 GHz Corsair H105 AIO CPU cooler Asus Z170-A Motherboard 16GB DDR4-2400 MHz G.Skill Ripjaws Memory Asus Dual RX480 4GB (the product lineup not running 2 GPUS) EVGA 650 GQ PSU 128 M.2 SSD for boot 1tb 2.5 inch OCZ SATA SSD for main storage 1tb WD Blue HDD Corsair 450D Mid tower case
  21. Hello all so tonight I had my Corsair H105 leak on me today. I was trying to just change the thermal paste and the fittings came loose when i tried to move the tubes up to get to the bottom 2 screws of the CPU block. The piece of plastic that locks the tubes in place broke somehow. Anyway I'm a little confused as to what to do next as everything online recommends different things and different materials to help clean the water out. The computer was unplugged and off for several hours before the spill occurred by the way. I removed and de-socketed everything I could think of. Should I bathe all my comments in isopropyl alcohol given their current status or use some other cleaning material? Common sense would lead me to believe the alcohol would do the trick since it evaporates quickly but there are people out there that say it's bad so any help would be appreciated since I want the best possible chance to not have any dead components. Thanks in advance! 22. My Gamerstorm Genome (first generation) liquid cooling system is leaking and I didn’t notice it because it’s very gradual (1 drop a minute.) I had covered my clear panel because of the light at night. I was playing Minecraft when my monitors lost signal and then I thought I’d plug one into my motherboard HDMI because the sound was still running and I figured it was a graphics card issue. As I moved to the back of my tower I smelled a weird kind of funky chemical smell similar to antifreeze then I opened my side panel and saw that my graphics card had the green liquid from the CPU cooler collected on it and I quickly turned the power supply off and pulled the GPU out (MSI Nvidia GTX 1070 Armour Edition) Im guessing I for sure need to replace the cooler but what do I do to my graphics card? Rinse the funk off with distilled water? Leave it with a bunch of silica packets in a ziplock bag? Clean it with nail polish remover and do all of the above? should I clean the whole graphics cards piece by piece and then reapply the cooling chassis and thermal paste? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The cpu cooler is dripping into a cup right now as I’m hard pressed to remove it from the case that it’s more or less built into. I’m leaving the system off until i find some solutions and using my phone to ask this right now. thanks so much! -Jonathan P.S. I can provide more photos.

  24. So we all know how there have been lots of leaks about the pixel 3. I think I just found another leak. It might be another android phone that's already out, but I can't say for sure. I found this from the "Google assistant on the road" video that Google posted. The image that I uploaded that shows the phone sitting in a cup holder in a car. And the phone looks a lot like the other leaks that have been floating around. The other two images I posted are already well known leaks. Google Assistant- On the Road.mp4
