Hello, my laptop, which I bought in June, started to tear and feels laggy. I never had such problems in the summer, I was playing all games without vsync with high fps but it started suddenly. My Specs: ASUS TUF A15 2023 Edition. RTX 4060. Ryzen 7 7735HS. 2x8 DDR5 4800MHz RAM. 500GB M.2 SSD. 144Hz G-Sync Screen. Win 11. I dont know why this started to happen. My roommate has asus tuf 2022 edition with RTX3050 and when we compare 2 laptops on CS2 with no v-sync my computer has more tearing and feels like not 144hz. His computer gets 180fps and mine is getting 220fps, we both have 144hz monitor and his laptop dont even have gsync but mine is not smooth. I tried to uninstall drivers with ddu and reinstall but nothing changed. I might refund or send to warranty. If someone help I would be happy, thank you. https://vimeo.com/891160344?share=copy This is the video that I recorded.

My PC start lagging 5-15 second per frame suddenly but mouse is very responsive when I move it around but it take 5-15 second to the UI respond to click, the only fix is restarting my PC, I try reinstall the graphics driver it didn't work I try update windows it didn't work either, the last time it's lagging is because I press windows key when I play cs2 and I had to restart the PC but other time it's lagging I'm not sure what caused it lagging, the lag it's not frequently happen it happen once per 2-3 days, here my PC spec: CPU: i5 13400F GPU: RTX 3060 TI GPU Driver: Latest nvidia studio driver Motherboard: MSI B760M-A Pro WiFi DDR4 RAM: Team Delta RGB 32GB T-FORCE DDR4 CL18 3600MHZ PSU: Cooler Master V750 GOLD V2 OS: Windows 11 latest update

Okay so here goes, All my games used to run very smoothly even on 60fps till a couple of months back when every game I played below 144fps started to feel laggy/choppy. I tried every basic solution internet had to offer but had no luck with them. My specs back then were:- Acer 144hz monitor (no freesync or gsync) GTX 1060 6gb i5 8600k 8x2 3200mhz DDR4 Corsair HX750 PSU Razer Viper wired with 1000hz polling rate I was losing my mind over this issue until I recently decided to upgrade my monitor and GPU. My specs now:- Gigabyte g24f 165hz monitor (Gsync compatible) RTX 3070 8gb Everything else is the same. I thought this upgrade would fix the issue but there's literally no difference. Any game that goes below 120-144 feels like I'm playing under 60fps whether it's single player or multiplayer. There is no stuttering or lag while using the pc for other purposes. The GPU temp barely every goes above 75° even at 100% usage and the CPU temp never goes above 60° Here's a video benchmarking fps with afterburner: Youtube Also, there's this thing called 99% fps on Nvidia geforce overlay which in my case is like half of my average fps. Here's an example video: Nvidia What I have already tried:- - Clean reinstall of windows - Turning vsync on or off (I've never played any game with vsync on in my life) - Disabling fullscreen optimizations - Using both HDMI and DP cable - Using RTSS to cap FPS This has been way too frustrating for me and I feel like I'm running out of options on the internet and at this point I'll take any help I can get. Please let me know if there's anything else I can provide you with to make you understand the issue better. Thanks

yea so my 144hz ips monitor feels like super choppy and like its not 144hz 90% of the time. some of the time i get a buttery smooth video for 1-3 seconds and then choppy again. i am doing my testing in apex legends cause its the main game i play rn. this seems just like an fps issue and i thought it was like a 99th% fps issue or something but when i tried my old 165hz tn panel it is sooooo smooth. even the 60hz genuinely felt smoother than my 144hz ips monitor and i dont know why. i messed around with the scaling in the "adjust desktop size and position" tab in nvcp (cause i play stretched) and nothing there helped enough to make a difference. anyone know why or what is happening. thank you

Hey guys I have the following components, AMD Ryzen 7 2700x Nvidia RTX 2060 16GB Gskill RGB ram Mobo: MSI Tomahawk B350 Arctic I updated all drivers but can't help buy notice CPU bottlenecks. In Hearts of Iron 4 it has to think too much when things happen, even early game it freezes every 7-9 days or so. Even League of Legends feels really awfull regarding FPS. Not sure if it actually slows down but it feels very unresponsive at times. When clicking menu's in games or clicking stuff in my web browser it feels somewhat unresponsive/stuttery. I've noticed the VRMs get VERY hot to the touch when i'm near it with my hand. I was wondering if this mobo has known issues or if this mobo could be impacting the responsiveness of the PC? Thanks in advance!

I like to think I know a good amount about pcs and stuff but I can't wrap my head around this. Context: I've had this PC for over a year and I built it myself(specs listed below) and it works great handles games well and everything. the only thing I really cheaped out on is the motherboard but it has all the features I need and It never caused any technical problems. The problem I am having is whenever I am loading up a game or at some point in a game my mic in discord gets really robotic and laggy to my friends until I either stop the game or its done loading and I am playing. I am using the mic on my razer kraken with the usb for it plugged into my motherboard. I don't know if this is a problem with my cpu not being powerful enough or its my motherboard or hell maybe even discord. The two games that this has happened with were "Detroit become human" and "risk of rain 2". With Risk of rain 2 it happened awhile ago and it only had my mic lag when I was in loading the game and main menu it never lagged when I actually started the game. With Detroit It lagged my mic whenever It installed shaders and when it was starting up, or when I had the graphics on near max with it on 1440p. The only thing I noticed is when it was installing shaders when I played it for the first time my cpu utilization was at 97% while sharing my screen on discord. That might be why it lagged my mic but I don't think my pc should be lagging that bad at all. With risk of rain 2 I have no idea why it lagged its the least demanding game I play. Another theory I have is the games are just poorly optimized for PC(even tho Risk is meant for PC) and thats why it hurts my computer so badly. I really don't know I just want my mic to not sound like a robot when I play games with friends. Sorry if this was all over the place I've been trying to fix this for awhile and its been hard. If anyone can help it would mean a lot. Also I don't think it is my internet I have 300 down and 15 up. i launched a 3D printing program 4 days ago and My pc started to run weird. kinda laggy. tryed shutting it down through the menu (normal way) and didnt do nothing. i had to forced shut down with the power button when i started it back up, it was super long to start. (i have fast boot on and never had problems with booting before) then it says my overclocking faled and i had to go to my bios. (overclock through the easy overclocking thing iin my ASUS bios) i tryed without the overclock and its still super long to boot and hard to shutdown. i dont think its a hardware problem, i havent changes any parts. alot of stuff is laggy and i cant find out why can anyone help me? I'm partically new to the vm side on pc. But today I decided to install and try out macOS Big Sur on virtualbox VM and see if i can use it as my daily OS for studying since its more minimal and less clutter. I've assigned 4cores and 8gb of ram to my VM but when I start the VM it's really laggy and can be considered unusable. I'm running a i7 8750H and 16gb of ram so allocating 4cores should not be a problem ? I tried to allocated only 2 cores and 8gb of ram to the vm but it is also laggy and hard to use. I've already enabled hardware acceleration and Vt-X. Besides that, there's no audio output on the vm system so please does anyone has similar encounters

My laptop is lagging overall even without apps opened. my laptop has no overheating issues. while in game or in a creative app my laptop is getting laggy. thanks to armory crate i discovered that my cpu frequency is just 800Mhz which is not good. it was supposed on atleast 2000Mhz .even in turbo mode it is still 800 it dosent even increase a bit unless i restart my laptop for about 2-3times. Does someone have any solutions for my cpu? i cant even browse because of this for the curious ones: I have an ASUS TUF GAMING FX505GT I7-9750H GTX1650 4GB 512gb ssd average cpu temp : 40c(idle) 75-80c(gaming high end) updated bios updated asus drivers updated gpu driver (both intel and nvidia) No viruses or malware i troubleshoot my laptop with "MyAsus" and didnt detect the cpu problem i bought it a month ago. the cpu problem occured 2 days ago i cant even go to the asus store for repair because its very far from my home so i need to fix this myself with your help

So I've been noticing this for a while and my streams on discord are getting really laggy lately... So today I just hopped onto a big-ish server and wanted to stream but got a lot of people who sad I had a 'like 5 fps while sharing my screen on a game' Now I might know why this is happening but not too sure I have a Ryzen 3 3200g cpu. Now I was sure to think 4 cores and 4 threads may not be the greatest thing to use but wouldn't think it would be awful and another I think using the browser wouldn't be great aswell... Please help me I really want to share my screen soon

Hello everyone, I have this problem that really grinds my gears. Apex Legends is the game i play the most, but it also happens on wz 2.0, less notable but still. My system: Asus Tuf b450m plus gaming Ryzen 7 2700 (not X) Zotac RTX 2080 (not super) 2x 8GB DDR4 3200 Corsair Vengeance (DOCP enabled) SSD samsung 970 evo plus PSU is a sesonic gold plus 750w Monitor Benq xl2411 1080p 144hz plugged via DP 2º monitor is a 60hz HP, 1080p also connected by DP The temperature of the CPU and GPU never goes more than 85ºc The problem: When I'm playing Apex Legends 1080p with everything on the lowest possible quality settings, no v-sync and NVIDIA reflex doesn't matter if its off, on or on+boost, i'm always under 120fps and the worst is that from time to time (but in the same match on every match) it stutter for like 0,5 seconds and it really ruins the experience for me and I fell that with the hardware I own and the settings I have it should be butter smooth, am I wrong? I've used DDU unistaller and have reinstalled the graphics drivers, windows is always updated (windows 10 pro ATM), yesterday I've done a fresh install of the OS, installed only the drivers + the Apex game, the problem still there. I've also disassembled and reassembled all the components to minimize bad connections. I don't know, what else I can do. Any ideas? Thanks a lot to those who spend time to read this post Much Love LTT fam.

I have a problem with smoothness in games. I was using an Acer KG251QDBMIIPX 240Hz monitor and everything was fine but I felt that the games were not as smooth as, for example, at esports tournaments where the best gear is laid out. The monitor was also more than 4 years old so I decided it was time for a change to feel the smoothness. I changed the monitor to a BenQ Zowie XL2540K, ran the Strobe Utility app, set it up and of course I can see the difference for example in UFO test (the image is sharp, zero blur, I can count every pixel, in the old monitor UFO was blurry). The problem is in games, in CS:GO I can't see any difference and already on the old monitor I felt that the game is not as smooth as it should be ( I noticed the same in Valorant). Everything is set up, of course, CS:GO set to 240hz and mat_info shows 240hz. Even being at my cousin's house I have the impression that his game is smoother even though he uses a 144hz monitor LG 24GM79G Here is my configuration: Intel Core i5-9600KF RTX 3060 12 GB MSI GAMING X HyperX 16GB (2x8GB) 3333MHz CL16 Predator MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PLUS SilentiumPC Supremo FM2 750W 80 Plus Gold SilentiumPC Fortis 3 140mm WD 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe Blue SN570 be quiet! Silent Base 802 Window White Windows 10 Home 64bit CS:GO installed on M2 drive, average fps on FPS BENCHMARK 456 (in-game locked at 400). Graphics settings fullscreen 4:3 stretched almost everything on low. Memory is set to XMP, most parts are new, internet is also good 300/30 Mbps , Windows freshly installed on M2 drive, all latest drivers installed, I'm using DisplayPort cable provided from Zowie. I have two monitors but even unplugging one from the power supply nothing changes. Things I did: Energy plan changed / Mouse pooling rate is 1K / unchecking cpu0 does nothing / disable fullscreen optimization /. I have no idea what could be wrong anymore, I replaced everything in the computer one by one and I thought the monitor was the last thing because I heard that the Acer there has ghosting problems. But nothing has changed. In CS I'm able to notice the difference and it's not a game I play rarely but semi-professionally so I need that smoothness.

Hello everyone. My friend has been having issues with this laptop, he got it brand new a couple of months ago but has only recently noticed the issue since he hasn't been using it while it was plugged in. What happens is that the laptop runs great while its on battery power but as soon as he plugs in the charger, its starts lagging like crazy. Things we've tried: 1. Checking advanced power options, namely CPU utilisation wile plugged in - it was fine 2. Switching to high performance mode - no changes 3. Reinstalling all drivers - no changes The thing I've noticed after I downloaded CPU-Z is that the CPU clock multiplier varies when the laptop is used on battery power, but when the laptop is plugged in it is stuck on 4x. We also did the CPU benchmark thing from CPU-Z both while the laptop was running on battery power and while it was plugged in. Scores: On battery: CPU Single Thread - 486,3 CPU Multi Thread - 3689 While plugged in: CPU Single Thread - 38 CPU Multi Thread - 336 CPU in question is Ryzen 5 5500U. Any input would be extremely welcome, we are planning to take it back to the shop since its under warranty, but he needs it for work and the repair shop in question is notorious for taking a long long time to get back to you (im talking weeks, sometimes even months since by law they have to either repair it or replace it in 3 months, and they usually take their time). Charger he used is the one that came in the box with the laptop so it should work fine.

Lag issues, please help! Random lag when using computer. Sometimes my mouse would freeze for a couple seconds, then jump across the screen. If I open something like the Task Manager and click on a tab, it would freeze for a moment then open the tab. Mouse skipping/general lag never happens when I am playing games (BF1, Civ5, Starcraft 2). It just happens when I am just browsing the web, working through my Excel spread sheets, etc. The lag happens at random intervals and lasts only a couple seconds. It happens most frequently when I am performing an action (e.g. opening Task Manager, switching to a new Excel sheet, opening a new Chrome tab). However, it also happens at random when I am just moving my mouse across the screen. My rig: Mobo - MSI Extreme Gaming X99A SLI Plus CPU - i7-6800k overclocked to 4.2 CPU Cooler - Noctua NH-U15 GPU - EVGA GTX 1080 SC RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB DDR4 3200 mhz Storage - 512 GB Samsung 850 Pro SSD PSU - EVGA Supernova 850 G2 OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit I tried everything I could find online including... -Disabling mouse acceleration -Switching out my mouse to a new one -turning off Cortana -Disabling DisplayFusion -Updated drivers/reinstalled mouse drivers -Ran anti-virus scans -Turned off the Windows 10 Peer-to-peer update Any tips on resolving this? Thanks!

Hello, I bought a macbook air 2011 11" basemodel (the 64gb SSD, i5 @1.6 and 2gb of ddr3). For some reason its super laggy. None of the animations are smooth, and it can't run basic things like YouTube without major stutters. its currently running Sierra, didn't fare much better in lion. There isn't a battery in it, ordered it online, currently plugged into wall. The computer seems mint to me. I saw videos on YouTube with the same one running sierra just 4gb of ram, and they were quite snappy. Also windows PC's with the same amount of ram run fine in windows 7. Any help? Thanks in advance. Also for some reason the ssd has only 20gb left, sierra takes 40gb??

So...for the past few months or so,my LG g4 has been extremely sluggish. To the point it's been a pain to use. So I did my typical troubleshooting, ran antivirus, checked my apps, ran system monitors to check the ram and cpu usage...ect ect. And I couldn't find anything. Until I decided to use simple system moniter and saw...this. My read speeds are almost always capped at 100% ._. (It's also worth noting that my phone gets hot randomly sometimes during normal everyday usage (texting on Hangouts, using the Google app, YouTube) not even during intensive things like games....not sure if it's linked to this at all,but it gets really annoying. Once I get home I'll post an Aida 64 thermal reading I took when it happened a week ago. ) So..I'm guessing the disk usage is the cause to All of the sluggishness, and I don't have any strange out of place apps, some social media, emulater apps, and some launchers. And I'm trying to find an app moniter to tell me what's using the disk so much but can't find one,so. Anyone have any input on my situation or maybe have had the same issue? I'm really not sure what to do except clear out all my downloads,or factory reset...so. anything is greatly appreciated ?thanks

This morning i started up my computer and when i opened subnatica, i was getting a measly 10 fps compared to my normal 87, i tried other games and they all were laggy and ran slow too. I recently installed asus arua and the msi gaming app (for gpu) which may have conflicted but i uninstalled both and all my games still lag. I suspect its somthing wrong with my gpu or compatibility, not my hard drive, because everything boots up fine at the same speed, but anythings posibal. Other things i have also tried was installing and running malwarebyts, and other virus/malware removal software, reinstalling drivers, but nothing has worked. My cpu usage is not high and im getting around 1 Ghz out of a max of 3.5 Specs - Intel i5 7600k cpu Asus z27oe motherboard MSI geforce gtx 1060 6gb gpu 2tb barracuda hard drive windows 10 64bit
