This is a ridiculous story. So for Christmas I got a razor kraken v3 head set, or so I thought. I opened the box which looked factory sealed to my eyes. Inside was not what it was supposed to be it was a razor nari which was a cheaper head set. Also it did not come with the headphone jack or charging cable, and the usb jumper was different. Truthfully I didn't notice they were the wrong ones I got them to work and they sounded great. So I was thinking to question best buy the next day about getting the right adapters that were suppose to come with it. Couldn't do it that day it was Christmas. So why not just try them out was jamming to some music and cooking diner I went to pivot from the cutting board to range to Sautee some onions and my headset when flying the other direction into a full dish sink and ruined the headset now I have to go and explain this to best buy.

I just got an NZXT Kraken 360mm White RGB AIO and I have it installed on a Ryzen 7 5700x. I am using HWiNFO for temps and also have "Fan Xpert 4" installed through Asus's AI Suite and NZXT CAM installed. My CPU Temps are between 40-60c when Idle while NZXT CAM is reporting that the liquid is 31c. I don't know if I need to take the Cooler back off and apply some of my own thermal paste (I used what was pre-installed on the cooler) I have the Header that comes off the AIO plugged into the CPU_FAN header on my Asus Prime B550-Plus Motherboard with the fan speed set to 100% (I can plug it into the AIO_PUMP header but it looks better and is easier to use the CPU_FAN header). Any Help or suggestions are Welcome, Thanks! IMG20231225225720.jpg

the kraken elite 280 Is on sale for $200 when it's usually $250 on multiplr websites like amazon, newegg etc. do you think this is the lowest a kraken elite will get for a while? should I buy now or wait for a 360mm to go on sale. I know there are similar options for cheaper but I love the screen.

Hi, everyone! I made a post about my games stuttering/hitching way back in January of this year. My old post essentially was asking why my games were like that all of a sudden, and why I was getting CPU temps of 100 degrees plus by just idling on the desktop. I eventually came to the conclusion that my CPU was overheating (kinda obviously) with some help from people on the forums. But after putting some new thermal paste on the CPU and AIO cooler, my computer, and more importantly games, were noticeably running better. I was able to get my hands on an NZXT prebuild in June of 2020. Specs listed below: CPU: Intel Core i7 10700k GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Motherboard: Micro-Star International Co., LTD Z490-A PRO (MS-7C75) Ram: G.Skill F4-3200C16-8GTZR DDR4 x2 Storage: CT1000P1SSD8 Cooler: NZXT Kraken 120mm Case: NZXT H510i However, ever since the start of this summer, I've noticed that not only is the stuttering and inconsistent frame rates back, but also I'm lagging a lot so I reapplied thermal paste again which didn't seem to work this time which makes me believe that my AIO had failed or died. I researched about the Kraken 120mm and people said that it's not really that great of a cooler considering it's lifetime of about 2yrs or so. This leads me to ask: 1. If the Kraken did fail, then what is the best AIO cooler for my CPU and for my case size? 2. Do high CPU tempt affect wi-fi speeds? Any help or input would be appreciated! I am struggling over here. -.-

Hello guys, does anyone know if the NZXT H9 Elite case supports the NZXT Kraken X63 RGB 280mm? I want to use my precious AIO and mount it on the top of the case but I'm not sure if the case supports that size. Thanks in advance!

Ok so, I just updated my drivers and now my headset Mic isn't being detected/doesn't work properly, I tried troubleshooting but it didn't detect anything. ( My headset is the razer kraken )

I contacted technical support about a faulty pump on my AIO and overall, it was not a good experience. Very complicated procedure, too long to respond, not a clear response until I pushed a little. Overall, bad. Bu the worst part? Because I live in Europe, their warehouse or whatever here seems to be underutilized and their response is to create more (preventable, I might add) e-waste! They asked for me to pay a new unit in advance and after I receive it, to destroy my old one! I wouldn't be bothered to pay a small fee to ship it (as is the case with Corsair defective products) and they could do with it as they pleased. Refurbish, dump or I don't know what. But having customers destroy products with hammers and scissors, doesn't seem like a great plan to me...

Hey, I've been dealing with this issue since i built PC with NZXT Kraken x63. All cables are connected correctly as it's written in Manual of installation. The AIO is working really well on OC 8700k,it can also be detected in NZXT Cam with The strip of NZXT H510i. I Can change everything except pump RGB Light (Circle/Led) and its only visible in the one corner, can't even light up NZXT Logo (Check the real image).I've tried different usb ports and other sata connectors but still same. Am i doing something wrong or it has dead Led on pump? Should i contact the seller? Thanks.

Hello. I am new to this forum, and english is not my first language, so I am sorry if this is posted in wrong forum, and my language! I have recently build my first PC in about 8-9.years. I had a X79 build with 3930k CPU, 32GB memory all stock, PSU: Corsair AX760. I've upgraded to: ASUS ROG B500 -F Gaming WiFi (BIOS version 12.02 21.10.2020) AMD Ryzen 3700X Hyper X 16GB 3200Mhz CL18 memory - D.O.C.P is enabled. (thinking about upgrade 2 32GB 3200MHz CL17 or CL16 in the next months). NZXT Kraken 73 NZXT H710 M.2 NVME SSD PSU: Corsair AX760 The only thing I "re-use" is harddrive/ SSD drives and PSU from my earlier build. I tought my new PC was going to be a good build, but in Cinebench R20 I keep getting score as low as 500 - 505, in both test (Multitread and Single Core). When I seach around on the internet everyone is getting much higher multicore score. In Windows task manager I see that only 10-15% of my CPU is in use when I run Cinebench R20. I have tried different settings in Ryzen Master, and in AI Suite 3, but i don't see any difference. Can someone please help? I don't won't to overclock CPU if i don't have to, but I will get the score of a stock 3700x in Cinebench.

Hello. First of all, sorry if my english is bad! I have recently build a new computer, spec is: Case: NZXT H710 (non i version). Motherboard: ASUS B500 -F Gaming WiFi CPU: Ryzen 3700X (due to shortage of 5600X and 5800X) CPU Cooler: NZXT X73 top mounted in the case, and the fans is on the top of the rad as exhaust. Memory: 16GB (2x8) HyperX 3200MHz CL18 (planning to upgrade to 32GB (2x16GB) 3200mhz or 3600mhz CL18,17,16,). GPU: MSI GeForce 970 4GB Gaming (from my old computer, due to shortage of gpu's). PSU: Corsair AX 760 (from my old computer). So to my question: Radiator fans: 3x120mm NZXT AER 120mm PWM fans. These are pretty noisy and I hear them good from about 1150/ 1200rpm and more, and that is kind of frustrating. I thinking about to change these 3 fans to start with, and I thinking about to change to Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fans. Will this be a good choice? Or should I go for Noctua NF-P12 PWM instead? The fans is going to be placed on the top of the rad as exhaust, I think. I don't want to place the rad in the front of the case.. I also consider to change the 3 120mm case versions in the front, also with Noctua, but I am not sure if I am going to change those 3 fans with 2 140mm fans, or 3 120mm. Also here I thinking about Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM or Noctua NF-A14 PWM or NF-P12 PWM. But this change may be later, as the noise from the case fans is not to bad. Front case fans is original: 3 of NZXT AER 120 case version (non pwm I think, they are 3.pin so I have set DC in BIOS) in front. Don't think this is to noisy. (yet) Back case is original: 1 of NZXT AER 140 case version (non pwm, I think, they are 3.pin so I have set DC in BIOS) in the back. Don't think this is to noisy. (yet) I'm happy if anyone will help me to a decision about which Noctua fans I should buy.

Hi, over the past month after swicthing from stock cooler to the Kraken M22 my temps av just been really unstable. Specs: Mobo: Asus ROG Strix x470-F Gaming CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x Alt Cpu: Ryzen 7 2700x RAM: 32GB 3200Mhz HyperX DDR4 GPU: Asus RTX 3070 Twin OC PSU: CM V750 750WATT Case: NZXT H500 AIO: Kraken M22 So the last couple of days Ive been notatting temps for diff actions and the number are pretty wired. Boot to bios and the temps read 71C Doing nothin at desktop (only with HWinfo up) and the temps read everything from 35C to 72C (not been taking an avrg from there sadly.) No actions except Google chrome and the avg temp is 70C+ Running a game like pes 2020 and the temps hit max at 90C++ Undervolting doesnt seem to help either. Turning of boost helps by an avrg of 5C Any tips?

I already made a topic asking about specific coolers and the conclusion was kind of "it doesn't work for Gigabyte GPU" but i somehow don't really believe this wouldn't work with an NZXT kraken bracket for example (with some CPU AIO)? And why wouldn't it? And what other options do I have with this GPU?

Hey, ive just upgraded from a 120mm aio to the nzxt kraken x73, now when i turn on the pc i can watch the temps rise to about 112 degrees, then the pc turns itself off. ive pluged in the 3 pin comming from the pump into the cpu fan header, the usb connection into an usb header, the sata cable into the powersupply and all the extra fans into a sys fan header. ive tried changing it arround, putting the 3 pin onto a sys fan or the radiator fans onto the cpu fan header. i have tried shaking the radiator or changing the position to maybe remove air from unwanted positions. in the bios the header i put the pump on shows 0 rpm, ive also tried changing the mode from auto to pwm or changing the speed to full speed. im not an expert and dont know much further thanks for any help

Hi I wondering if someone could help me out. I wanted to use a set of 3 T30 phanteks 120mm fans with my X73 Kraken AIO. Does anyone know what screws I need to be able to do this? Will the longer 36mm screws that come with the T30 fans work? Or if there a specific length or thread pattern I need? I would like to mount them in a push setup with the radiator at the top of my case(Metallic Gear Neo Qube). Here is the fans spec page https://www.phanteks.com/PH-F120T30.html

Hi, so this is my first build with any RGB lighting so please excuse any idiocy when it comes to my knowledge. So I've bought an kraken z73 and 3 aer RGB 2 fans along with an RGB controller as I plan to add some RGB strips that goes over the 40 channel limit (a itll from nzxt) later down the line. My problem extends from the fact that I can't see any feasible way to connect the fans to the controller or kraken RGB header with any of the included wires. I've included pictures of all the headers and a picture showing the fan connectors are smaller than the ones from the kraken and controller. I don't know if I need a certain wire I don't have or if the fans are only motherboard connected. I'm not sure really what to because as I've said I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to anything RGB so any help would be appreciated.

So basically, today I upgraded my PC from the Ryzen 5 3600 to the Ryzen 9 5900X, the stock cooler to the NZXT Kraken X63 and the case from a NZXT S340 Elite to the Lian Li Lancool II Mesh RGB. My other specs are: MoBo: MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Super SSD's: 2x Samsung 860 EVO PSU: Corsair RM750x Well, when starting the PC the BIOS instantly gives me a CPU Overheating alert. I go into the BIOS, see the CPU rise to 88C on which it instantly shuts down. The RGB on the pump and the fans also didn't work. First I checked if all the cables were attached properly, and apart from the USB-cable to the pump which wasn't properly inserted into the MoBo, I reinserted it, and restarted my PC. First thing I noticed was that the RGB worked, but also that the fans were running a little quieter. However, the CPU still instantly overheated. Then I took off the pump from the CPU to see if it even made contact. After looking at the thermal paste, which was spread evenly across both surfaces, I reattached the pump to the CPU and also reattached the cables leading into the pump and restarted again. (I'm guessing I also have to replace thermal paste now as well, right?) But, the RGB suddenly didn't work anymore. And the fans were again somewhat louder, so at this point I was at a loss for words. I also touched the pump to see if I could feel it work or blow or whatever it does, and it did seem to be moving. So honestly I have no clue, right now. I'll also add that the radiator fans do work and that the ambient temperature in my apartment is 34C, as it is a hot summers day where I live. What should I do next? So to reiterate, the CPU and cooler are both brand new. Thanks for the help

Hello! My headset (Razer Kraken Kitty) randomly with no pattern to it just disconects and reconects after a few seconds. This just randomly started happening one day, no clue why. The wierd part is it starts happening and it does it for a weak or two then stops for a while. Its like if you were to just suddenly pull it out of the USB port (its still pluged in), windows then gives a "no audio device conected message", razer synaps does not show the headset and when it reconects (on its own) discord gives a "new aodio device conected, would you like to switch" and the wierdest part is the mic on the head seatr is muted(can tell by the red ring around it) I've tried contacting razer support and and they were of no help, tryed repluging it, switching USB ports, reinstaling drivers, updating, I have the headset set as defoult in windows and everything else disabled. When I tryed switching Discord from "defoult" to the headset the red banner appears at the top despit me being able to talk normaly with friends. I'm very sorry for my english and any miss spells. Thank you

Hi. Could someone please help me figure out which hose of the Kraken Z73 is the intake? My build requires me to position the rad vertically on the short side and it’s only marginally higher than the CPU (Desk PC). I have to make sure the liquid enters the rad from the top to avoid air going into the pump. The rad orientation will be just like the attached photo but the pump screen will be facing upwards. Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi! I'm very close to being able to buy all the parts to my PC, but I have a question about the AIO I'm going to use. My case is an O11 Dynamic with Lian Li ST120 fans, but my AIO is an NZXT Kraken X73 (default). I was wondering if I would be able to replace the fans on the Kraken with Lian Li ST120s. If you could also tell me if there are any other components I need to use for the RGB to work that would be great. For reference, my Motherboard is an MSI MAG B460 Tomahawk. Thanks!

Recently built new PC with the following: Ryzen 7 5800x Gigabyte b550i Pro AX mini ITX (BIOS F13i with AMD AGESA Combo V2 1.2.0.2) Kraken x53 240mm AIO 32GB gskill 3600mhz 1070 ti FTW2 Phantek Enthoo Evolv mini ITX tower (total of 1x120mm fan on back, 2x120mm on radiator above, 1x200mm front fan). My benchmark results are within the expected range, no crashing, gaming performance so far seems fine. My idle temps when on the Windows Balanced power plan are upper 40s to low 50s occasionally. 1.4 volts pretty much consistently. When I go into the Windows Low Power plan, my idle temps stay mid to upper 30s, rarely crossing over to 40. My benchmarking tests goes up to 90 when using cinabench, and 85 using Time Spy 3D Mark (while on the balanced power plan). I know this is a hot running processor and I've never paid too much attention to temperature control because nothing was ever alarming. I've never done any overclocking, but watched AMDs PBOv2/CO YouTube video, as well as a PBO/CO video for the 5600x and 5900x. I kept the stock thermal paste on the x53 (not sure if rotating the pump 180 degrees would do anything - I do have extra paste if I have to), set the pump in the BIOS to full, and the fans on the radiator to point to the CPU rather than the system with just a slightly more aggressive fan profile. Other than setting that and XMP on the BIOS to recognize the 3600mhz on my memory, I haven't changed any other settings. I also made sure to kill off any RGB or unnecessary startup programs. Are these ranges normal? I've seen many people say they idle in mid to lower 30's. I know I'm in a mini ITX case, so that could be a factor. My thought was to try to set the PBO to enabled, limits off, and CO to undervolt and negative 10 points to start, incrementing by 2-3 points each time? I'm open to suggestions. I've just never OC'd before as my other builds worked fine stock, first time using an AIO cooler, and currently the system is stable with 0 crashes (just higher temps than I'm used to and voltage stays around the 1.4v-1.45v when on the balanced power plan).

Need Help with New Build! So long story short, had an existing build, wanted to opt for a better graphics card, bought an RTX 3070 and gave in and ordered a bunch of other stuff. My setup how I ordered (and partly assembled): Asus Rog Strix x570-E Motherboard Gigabyte Nvidia RTX 3070 AMD Ryzen 7 3800x Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (1 stick) 16GB 3600mhz Ordered a single stick by accident, meant to order dual kit 3600/3200mhz. NZXT Kraken Z63 Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB NVME Corsair RM650X NZXT H510 Elite 2 additional Aer RGB Fans, Hue+. Now the problems were piling up very shortly. Fans were not working (still haven’t figured out if it broke). Decided to let the fans for what it is, and see if everything worked how I want it too. I booted up the build, got into BIOS saying “CPU Fan Error!) I’m pretty sure I didn’t connect something the right way on my Z63. But then came the bad part: I had installed my old RAM sticks, which are LPX Vengeance 16GB 3000mhz. I set the speed to 3000, save changes, exited the BIOS, wanted to power up my PC then I got the well known yellow light on Asus boards indicating a RAM problem. Tried everything, switching sticks in slots, reseating my CPU (which nearly broke like 5 pins, whole nother headache) to where I finally gave in and opened the wrongly order singly channel stick. Put it in the right slot, BOOM, booted all fine! NO WAY JOSE, I was back in the BIOS again. Again “CPU Fan Error!” Came up. Googled it fairly quick, changed the CPU fan speed to ignore to first see if everything still boots correctly. Saved changes and exit, BOOM, back to the RAM LED indicator which suggests something to do with that. I been up till 4 AM yesterday, had about 3 nervous breakdowns today, still haven’t got the fans working, and now I still have the reoccuring RAM Error going on. I know it’s a very long text, I have searched and searched in Google, couldn’t find anything super useful, if anybody here is in a Christmas mood and would give some advice, help, anything, it would be greatly appreciated! Happy Holiday’s guys, and let’s hope 2021 will bring us all what we desire!

Got the opportunity to grab these for £46 or if I should stump up the extra £14 for the Hyper X Cloud II? I know they're generally a £100 headset but don't know if that normal £40 premium above the Clouds is worth it when they're in the same ballpark price?

From the album: My New Rig
New rig all put together with ram and GPU shroud plastidipped white. The Windforce logos blue LEDs also swapped for white. (both NZXT logos are white, they appear a little blue in the pictures. )
