Hi Guys! Wanted to have a discussion about this mouse I found while searching online Its called the Zalman GM4 mouse, though not particularly new but i think it looks pretty cool Main features: 135g up to 8200 DPI life: 5m clicks 10 programmable buttons Adjustable weight Customizable length (sort of) "laser gaming mouse sensors" Since its kinda modular, theres a tool needed for adjusting and its kept at the mouse itself, which i think is pretty neat but, looks like it doesnt have RGB though. Its selling for about USD62 at Newegg https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIABW94WK0576 Anyone bought / used this mouse before?? Would like some opinions http://www.zalman.co.kr/contents/products/view.html?no=78

I have been searching for a 1440p (QHD), 16:9 32" monitor that is significantly above 60hz (without unstable overclocks), with decent color and contrast. I came across this Korean model on Newegg. Seems like a reasonable price for the features, and is pretty much everything I am looking for (besides maybe the curve, I would prefer not having it). The thing is, IT HAS NO REVIEWS. I could find a couple reviews on other models made by the company, but not this one. The most I could find is this interesting 10 second clip of the underglow light? Anyone heard anything about it? Think we can convince Linus to buy one to test? He seems ok with buying interesting Korean monitors. Hi, newbie Manjaro Gnome user of 6 days here. I'm trying to get Korean Hangul input to work on my laptop, but I'm having some trouble as I'm struggling with following and uderstanding guides. I thought at first that it would be as simple as adding Korean (non-101/104) into input sources but it turned out to not be that simple. I have however found a guide on how to install and set up Korean Hangul on Arch Linux but as mentioned, I'm too small-brained to understand how to go about it. Can someone assist me on how to get Hangul Korean input working? Guide: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Localization/Korean I'm running Manjaro Gnome on my laptop, and would like Korean input as I study Korean and being able to type in Korean on my laptop would help in the digital portion of my studies.

Hi guys! I am currently searching for a new powersupply since I will soon receive an aged mid tier graphics card (r9 270x TOXIC). I encountered this fairly cheap branded PSU which is an FSP Raider 650w 80plus Silver in a local website, but it has a different packaging compared to FSP's website. My guess is that it comes from a korean retailer/manufacturer which explains the difference in packaging. I've done quite a few research about PSU and I know it belongs to Tier 6 in LTT list and tier 4 in tomshardware, but I'd like to know if there are any cases of fraudulence happening in PSU just like what we can see in ebay selling fake bios-flashed gpus. Here are a few pictures from the retailer. EDIT: If you goodle the product code in the pic (RA-650s) you'll get some korean/japanese sites. Amazon jp has 4 star avg customer review. so is it legit? (brand claims and 80plus rating) My system i5-4460 8gb HyperX fury 1600mhz currently a GTX 750 OC (switching to: r9 270x) 1TB WD Blue 500gb Toshiba online PSU calculators say that my system eats about 491W Thanks!

Hey, So after a good long time I've finally managed to get a little cash together for a much needed monitor upgrade. I'm looking to go 21:9 and 1440p, max size of 34" at around ~$300 I'm open to korean monitors. I've been looking at the ones TekSyndicate reviewed but after going to ebay I find a lot new stuff. So I was hoping for some updated suggestions from you guys! Thank you in advance

I am wanting a monitor, my budget is about £250 (380 USD ish) I was hoping to get a 2560x1440 monitor however I also like the idea of 120hz+ The only game I play regularly is league of legends so performance wise neither would be a problem, to achieve this within my price budget I was originally looking at buying the Korean screen qnix qx2710 and hopefully overclock it to around 90hz+. The reasons I unsure is first it being a Korean one from ebay, black light bleed, uncertainty of overclock and it being 27" (i would prefer 24") I was wondering if there are any better options? Thanks Edit: Although extra fps would benefit me more in gaming with LoL, I love high PPI and would benefit from the resolution in work, which is why I want borh

It appears that these are two different versions of the Crossover 404K. What is the difference? https://archive.is/cu2SG https://archive.is/mCVVg EDIT: Looks like 404K Final has a few different inputs and a larger Vesa mount, but are there any other differences (maybe firmware, internals, or something)? EDIT: Can anyone read Korean? http://www.crosslcd.co.kr/main.html?tmp=product&pg=404K http://www.crosslcd.co.kr/main.html?tmp=product&pg=404KF

Hey guys I'm totally in love with 21:9 and am looking for a 2560x1080 monitor to go in my next build. I was looking at something by lg or asus but I've ended up considering this (http://www.ebay.com/itm/CrossOver-290M-LG-IPS-LED-2560x1080-QHD-DVI-D-21-9-cineview-29-Computer-Monitor-/221514810120) for the price (and the fact that it still uses an LG panel). It's a Korean monitor and Logan from teksyndicate said it seemed great in one of his reviews. I was just posting here to see if anybody has had any personal experience and if they would/would not recommend it Cheers guys and girls, -Hodge22

Out of these 3 which should I get QNIX QX2710 LED Evolution ll Matte Off-grade, Yamakasi Catleap, Achieva Shimian. All of them seemed to be priced similarly, and if I get 1 one these instead of some of the other monitors I will mention I could, go 970 sli instead of 980, get a sound card, colored cables, better speakers etc. Other options that are more expensive would be the X-star Dp2710 LED and the Acer k272hulbmiidp. Yet not allowing me to do 970 sli, sound card, colored cables, better speakers, ext. So which one should I pick thanks for your time.

That is the question Hey LTT Members! So my question goes like this, I ordered a Asus ROG Swift 27 inch monitor yesterday for 680 Us Dollars or 4449 DKR. wich is a pretty good deal considering the normal price for this monitor in denmark is abot 810 US Dollars or 5300 DKR But i now have my doubts if i should cancel my order and get back the money simple cause ive read ppl saying that this monitor is not worth it. I currently have a 27 Inch IPS korean monitor (Crossover) and the asus would work as my main monitor and the Crossover would be my secondary monitor. I Play loads of random games like Battlefield 4 (Hardline), Diablo 3 Heroes of the storm, Dying Light, H1Z1 and some more. My current computer is Asus Maximus Impact I7 4770k Asus GTX 780 Direct CuII 16 Gb of Ram I know that i will not be able to reach 144 FPS in some of the games but i am planning to upgrade my PC as soon as Nvidia releases some New and better GPU (maybe GTX 980ti) I have never played on anything else than 60Hz monitors and im quite happy with gaming on my IPS allthou i do see some screen tearing and stuttering some times. What do you guys think will this be a waste of my money or? Thanks Ps. sorry for my not so good english

I like many people have been looking at Korean 1440p monitors, specifically the qnix qx2710 from this ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk... I have been looking because they are obviously very cheap and I, like many, don't actually game a lot but like to have good hardware when I do . I spend most time on the desktop/youtube. I wouldn't mind trying to overclock it for smoothness on the desktop and in old games. I know this is not guaranteed but people say that the single dvi (the one I'm looking at) has more success, and it is cheaper than the multi input . The description states "VGA compatibility" and a list of fairly old GPUs from Amd and Nvidia, mine is not included but I don't see how a "bypass board" would be a problem. I will put the description below for convenience: *Compatibility of VGA - These monitors are using Bypass type board. This type has compatibility issue with Graphic card and Mainboards. Please check the compatibility chart before make purchase. NVIDIA VGA 9500GT / GF9800GT / GT220 / GT240 / GTS250 / GT430 / GT440 GT450 / GT460 / GTX550TI / GTX560 / GTX560TI / GTX570 / GTX580 : O AMD VGA HD5450 / HD5550 / HD5670 / HD5830 / HD6570 / HD6750 HD6770 / HD6870 / HD6950 / HD6970 / HD6990: O HD5570 / HD5750 / HD5770 / HD5850 / HD5870 / HD5970 : X I am also thinking of upgrading to a 970 at some point, but not for a few months. Any ideas if my 280x is compatible? If not, any advice on other similarly priced monitors would be appreciated.

Anyone imported a korean monitor in the UK? Its a Qnix : Link to Ebay . It's £223 with free shipping. I asked them what they would write on the customs sheet and they said: "In chances of avoiding or reducing customs fee, you can request for undervalues as low as half of its original price or "gift" marks on the commercial invoice." What is the best thing to do? I have heard that you have to pay just 20% VAT if it's below £135 or 20% + 14% duty if its over £135. Ordering tonight so a fast response would be appreciated.

So, as a lot of you know, I just did my build on The Guinness: And now I want a 4K panel. I have a bunch of the 29UB65 21:9 panels, but I want a 4K one for gaming. I'm not willing to spend as much as I did for my NEC MultiSync pro-grade one, but I know they have some good, cheap, Korean ones... someone link me one they can personally recommend? (60Hz would be great)

I just got my Qnix QX2710 monitor and everything about it is great except i noticed this. I was wondering if anyone knows what this is and if so, is there any way to fix it. Also if there's any issue with this post that breaks code of conduct sorry this is my first post =P UPDATE: I have decided to contact the seller on eBay and ask for a replacement, hopefully Australian consumer law helps me here =D

Source: Lost Ark Official Website (In Korean Only) EDIT: Detailed source Steparu.com Lost Ark is an isometric action RPG game much like the Diablo series and Path of Exile, put together by Korean developers Smile Gate using the Unreal Engine 3.The game is rumoured to a free-to-play title, and will enter its closed beta testing next year. Although there aren't any news regarding the westernisation of the game it is definitely something that could happen hence why you should keep an eye out. So far there are 7 out of 18 playable characters have been revealed. The following video has been released on the Lost Ark YouTube channel as a trailer for the 2014 G-Star Show in Korea(there is also one more video released prior to this one on their channel). According to the videos description: Here is a detailed timestamp and a breakdown of the video (expand the spoilers for more information): 00:00 Introduction 01:57 Class & Action Introduction 02:19 First class shown is the Battle Master 03:06 Second class shown is the Devil Hunter 04:00 Third class shown is the Arcana 04:42 Forth class shown is the Warlord 05:12 Fifth class shown is the Infighter 05:47 Sixth class shown is the Summoner 06:16 Seventh class shown is the Berserker 06:44 Tripod System 07:56 There are more classes to come! 08:17 Adventure 11:07 World Map 12:54 Contents 13:31 Colosseum (PvP & Team v Team arena) 14:34 Team-play outside of town 15:06 Guardian Raid 16:25 Summary & Cinematic Dungeon I do have to say myself that I am overwhelmed with the detail of this game and all of the features mentioned in the video are really interesting. Although there are no plans to release the game worldwide (as far as we know) I wanted to contribute to popularizing the game buy making this VERY time taking thread; 2h+ to rewrite all of the subtitles so that you guys can easily reference to things. I'm a nice guy like that I'm looking forward to see what comes out of this game. Let me know what you think? I do hope the free-to-play aspect won't turn the game into pay-to-win!

Right at the start I have to say: Raise your Don..., wait, no. (just kidding) I am upset, groggy, my head is a pile of random thoughts, but I have to write this right now. I just dismounted my 27" cheapo korean monitor. Its a Yamakasi Q270B OC edition. It costs around double of what a non-OC grade cheapo monitor costs. Just to explain the reason for being 700 USD and more is the special circuit board of the monitor, that allows overclocking the monitor to a refresh rate of up to 132 Hz, depending on how good the circuit board is (kind of silicon lottery). Considering it using an LG IPS panel, that is used in all the fancy 27" apple monitors, this is pretty respectable. Because high refresh rates and ips picture quality dont usually go together, right? So paying an extra 350 dollars for the unique 1440p IPS 120Hz experience is justifiable and worth it. Right? (it really looks good, even though there is a lot of motion blur compared to comparable 120 Hz TN monitors, I was very happy with the compromise I chose with buying this monitor about half a year ago. ) Lets look at the pictures I took with crappy lighting and my Galaxy S4 camera ( :\ ) Going from left to right you can see the bezel of the shell, the stand and all the screws, An unnecessary silver plastic piece that gave it a more stylish look, but was blocking the vesa mounts on the back. Then there is the back shell with the circuit board laying on it, and finally the big silver thing is the panel its self. Theres the panel its self with the power connector cable on the right and two connectors at the top mid for the actual image signal. It weighs about 4 kilograms and is mounted to the plastic shell with four m3x10mm screws. (°_°) The label clearly shows that it is the LM270WQ1 by LG. The vesa mounts are two pieces of thin metal with threads, held in place by plastic rivits, just molten stamped down plastic. And that is supposed to lift like 6 kilogramms ?! The quite simple looking pcb is mounted to a piece of thin metal... ...which is used to keep the panel from flying around inside the chassis, but is actually quite bendable #LinusBendTest I have asked google for some panel side to vesa mounts, so I would not need the plastic shell at all. I found this: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/710593724/27panel_screen_LM270WQ1_SDE3_for_apple.html So you can get them for 30-100 USD, considering that this is a trading company and not the actual manufacturer and depending on the number you order. So the production cost may be about 25 USD. The circuit board doesnt look any different from the ones used in simple fan controllers or computer case I/Os. Maybe around 10 USD production cost. The stand / case, depending on what you are going for. It 4 screws to mount the panel to some slices of metal, then some crossbar metal bar that these mount to and some kind of stand. Alternatively you could just add a 10x10cm plate of metal with threads for vesa mounting. Cost: maybe 10-15 dollars. So to sum up, LG as the panel manufacteur could build these for what? 50 USD ?! Some guy starting a company with a budget of 10000 USD could get the materials for what ? 120 bucks? Produce 10 monitors a day and sell them for 200-300. So he would have a revenue of 100 dollars per monitor. Making 1000 bucks a day. He could hire people and like earn LOADS of money. You can get the materials, anybody can. My mind puts out: Even converting the money you pay extra for a cheapo monitor on ebay into the time it would take researching for materials, contacting suppliers and building your own monitor, you would save money. Its so rediculous!!! Like TTL would say, "I need to wrap my head around this and think about it." But like: Where is my 1440p 120Hz gaming optimized monitor from an actual company like LG ??? Where are the 4K monitors for like 300 bucks, when they can make 1080p panels for phones for what? 30 USD production cost?! Even though I am not a dumbass and I know the industry quite a bit, I was literally MINDBLOWN when I looked inside my monitor this night and I could imagine you are, too. Its like the NSA thing, where you know they spy on you, but when you actually get to know how much, you are damn suprised. What are your thoughts on this? I would love to hear what guys like Linus, that are in the industry for many years, think about it. Still surprised, or just accepting it the way it is ?!
