I have a koolance 380i and I'm probably going to switch to AM4 in the near future. Can I pick up the 390i conversion kit for am4 and have it be compatible with the 380i or should just get a new block?

I want Linus to review the RFS-500 Coolant Flush and Refill Station by Koolance cuz i was thinking of getting one but i see no reviews for it on youtube or anywhere can only see the pdf user manual.

Hello, I have the Lien li O11D case, a MSI rtx 2070 Gaming gpu and the x570 tichi. For thoughs of you with the same case and a vertical gpu bracket, how much space do you have between the backplate of the gpu and the chipset? The problem with this board is that the chipset is right in font of the gpu when having the gpu on the first slot. Mine is currently mounted horizontally in the first slot. So I don’t have space for the fittings. It would be nice to find a vertical bracket that can fit some fans and a slim radiator while still giving some space for the chipset block and the fittings. Thank you

I'm looking for a decent coolant for my blood red system and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I don't mind if it's a premix or distilled water dye etc, but I've heard of quite a few red fluids which separate, change colour, badly dye tubing and resevoirs or react with components. So has anyone and suggestions? Oh, and I've seen the EK premix, and don't really want a pinkish colour. cheers

*CAUTION: LARGE IMAGES IN SPOILERS* So I've gotten bored with my plain black Anidees AI6. And all it's flimsiness caused by the fact I had to completely disassemble it to fit a rad in and it didn't even end up looking all the great. Performs extremely well though. And it's spring! Which means it's warm enough to work in my garage again. So between rebuilding my Apollo and fixing my troublesome Firebird I've decided to take on a "relaxation project" because dammit I'm not busy enough. So PROJECT TIME! Feast your eyes on the glory of 2001! A Koolance PC2-C with an integrated aluminum radiator, 1/4" vinyl tubing and a copper waterblock capable of cooling an... Athlon XP. Yeah that's not too exciting, I know. Oh I know... it looks terrible. It's been sitting in my basement for well over a decade. Probably close to 15 years since I used it last. As you can see from the above pictures it's a downright mess, and definitely going to be difficult to work with. This case has none of the modern features we've all become accustomed to working with. Nothing is tool-less; there's no CPU cutout in the motherboard tray; no SSD trays; no cable management space behind the tray, hell it doesn't even take 120mm fans only 90mm. It's a nightmare. So now that I've torn the whole thing to pieces and sandblasted all the things, what's my next step? Well I've already reassembled it and tapped all the holes (no more rivets) so I can use stainless hardware. I've been test-fitting motherboards to make sure FrankenPC's Z87-A will fit and figuring out where I shall mount my SSD and HDD. I've also been redesigning the inner shroud which I shall probably throw out completely and make a brand new one out of aluminum. I'm planning on having a grill in the front of the case taking up the two upper bays from which the 120mm fans on the slim (likely a DarkSide LPX240) radiator will draw fresh air in and push the hot out through the top. This will mean the radiator is completely isolated from the rest of the case. Tubing wise I am not 100% sure what I plan to do yet; or whether it'll be soft or rigid, I don't have the equipment for a hard pipe build yet but I'm definitely considering it. The GTX 970 Windforce is another area I'm uncertain of since this case predates even the FX 5800 Ultra; but I do believe someone fit a Voodoo 4 in one so length shouldn't be an issue especially if I eliminate the lower 3.5" drive bay. Or I can just throw a waterblock on it I guess, but that will extend the timeline of the project as it stretches my funds. The rear panel presents another challenge for air circulation since the case is a half inch slimmer than we are used to, and modding a 120mm fan gril in place of the 90mm just won't work. I will have to figure something out for that. I am determined to keep the Koolance pump and fan controller with temperature readout in the build, as I'm about 90% sure it still works. I will probably fill the floppy drive bezel and make it like the other plain ones and hopefully I can find my missing spares. I cannot find the case sides so I will build my own from aluminum and plexiglass. So stay tuned! I'm really excited to be working on this old beast again because nostalgia is a terrible disease I like to do difficult things. I'll be updating more later this week as I prepare to prime the metal and consider my options for paint color schemes. This does mean I will likely have to paint the Z87-A heatsinks as they are ridiculous and gold. Thanks Asus. I am also waiting to hear back from Koolance as I contacted them in hope they might have spare parts sitting in some dusty corner of a warehouse. Instead I got the slim possibility of a sponsorship from them so who knows, maybe I'll get lucky. I do know I am keeping very good track of my progress as I go just in case so I can put together a comprehensive build log if need be. *Edit for strange picture placement at the bottom. Hi! I'm currently using a Cooler Master Storm Trooper and I would like to add a top radiator to my custom watercooling loop. Cooler Master said that the Nepton 280L cooler is compatible in this case. The clearance from the top of the case to the top of the motherboard standoff is 60mm. Fan mounts on the top of the case are slotted, but they are very short slots, but I'm not sure if radiators with 20mm spacing would fit (with all 8 screws). Also, the mounts are not offset. I don't want to cut the filter mounts on the top of the case so I would not be able to fit an extra set of fans on top of the case. I am planning to use Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-3000rpm PWM fans So, here are the radiators I have listed, Hardware Labs Black Ice Nemesis LS280 (312*140*29.7), 16FPI Hardware Labs Black Ice Nemesis GTS280 (312*153*29.7), 16FPI Magicool MC-RADI280 (323*145*29), 16mm fan spacing, 14FPI Koolance HX-CU1402V (316*140*29.2), 20mm fan spacing, 30FPI AlphaCool NexXxoS ST30 280 (319*144*30), 16FPI not sure about Swiftech MCR240-QP (315.6*145.6*30.6), 12FPI So, which of these radiators perform the best? and why?

Which company makes the best rads? Did you have good experience with them? Please comment it below! I'm going to pick a 480mm rad for my PCPP dream build.

So, I posted a topic a little while ago asking about water-cooling with two AIO's (GPU+CPU). With the conclusion I drew from that post, I decided to try and find a Swiftech H320 and expand it...except they're sold out, everywhere. I've now decided to bite the bullet and go for a custom loop - As cheaply as possible without compromising on quality / performance too much. I have an NZXT Switch 810 that I'd like to fill, and would like to use a tube reservoir if possible. They are my only prerequisites. Also I wont be water cooling my current GPU, as I'll be building this set up when Maxwell comes out. I may as well nail down as many of the components as I am able to now. So I've been using a Koolance flow meter (INS-FM18) and was originally reading it on a separate display (DCB-FM01) and it was all good. I decided to clean up my front panel and bought a Lamptron CW611 controller. The controller works fine for fans and pump but I can't get it to display the flow rate. I am using a frequency adapter (ADT-FM03) between the flow meter and the controller channel but it seems like there's no signal getting through. Tomorrow I'll try connecting it to a motherboard header but for now my case is closed and I'm going to bed. Please let me know if anyone has had experience with these parts or has another idea for what to do next...

I want to get into liquid cooling and i have two questions: 1. From which brand should i buy radiators, i want a slim 240mm and a thick 140 mm, i've seen koolance rads for about 50 bucks, are those any good? 2. I always hear linus talking about one specific awsome pump, which pump is this and how much does it cost. Ps. Hi! I'm planning on getting my first watercooling setup, and I'm planning on going for the koolance 380i cpu block, with 2 280mm alphacool NexXxos XT 60 full copper rads, but i recently read a review which said that the 380i wasn't compatible with copper? Isn't the 380i copper based, with a silver layer on the bottom? I would apreciate if someone could tell me if they're compatible. Thanks. Alexander.

I'm looking into buying compression fittings for a water cooling set-up that I've been planning. Just curious of what everyone else is using. Bitspower are basically the "gold standard" but is there anything that could be just as good? Or no? I know water cooling isn't cheap and I shouldn't cheap out. But, it would be great to hear other people's experiences and opinions on other brands. I've been looking at Koolance, alphacool, too.
