Good Day, I own a Corsair K95 RGB Platinum. I like the keyboard, but some of the more delicate plastic parts (wrist-rest clips, keyboard legs) have broken over the past two years of use, and one of the keycaps is defective. The keyboard is out of warranty. I would like to purchase replacement parts. I’ve been in contact with Corsair support, but the rep said individual parts were not available for sale. I’m wondering if there is another way to go about purchasing replacement parts? Thanks for your time.

I recently purchased a K95 RGB keyboard and have been more than happy with it. A few days ago, just after updating CUE to version 2.10.71, I noticed that the letter "F" was light blue. The profile I was using at the time set all the typing keys to white. Upon further experimentation, it seems like the red LED in the "F" key is broken/disabled. Any way to fix this using the software? Is it a glitch in the new CUE? I have already tried reinstalling CUE and force updating firmware. Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

So I just recently updated to 2.12.66 from 2.8.(something) with the CUE software, and I thought this was going to fix my Corsair Scimitar RGB not being recognized first time I login from boot up and not loading profiles linked to apps. But now i'm also dealing with my key board "stuttering", delaying key presses way after they have been pressed, not even recognizing key presses, or holding the key after I release it until i hit another key. Sometimes it will trigger keys I haven't even pressed. Also it has problems with connecting to the software after I disconnect and reconnect, coming up with malfunction error and is non clickable in the software. When I quit the software I don't have any problems, but i can't do what I bought this keyboard for... What is going on? I have had nothing but issues with this software... anyone with this keyboard or using the CUE software?

I'm asking this for a friend who recently bought the Corsair K95 RGB Platinum to replace his old keyboard. He is having a hard time getting used to the Cherry MX Fast switches. Rather than send the keyboard back and get a different model, can we replace the Cherry MX Speed switches out for a different type without soldering? Someone in a Discord server said it was possible but didn't link to anything showing how.

I recently had a spill, so I don't know if that would cause it, but no other led's were affected and the keys themselves all seem completely unaffected. The Top Red LEDS work ok, it's just the keys. I completely cleaned out the board. I even put it in front of a fan and waited a quite a while for it to dry out (slightly over 24 hours) I don't know how I could've possibly killed all the red LEDS, but not kill any others, That just seems really odd to me. Does anyone have any ideas? Could This just be a driver thing?

Hi all, toda the "y" key broke, but the top of the actual cherry switch has come off. So 1: can I replace the switch and 2: how hard is it, do I have to remove all the switchs to get the one switch out ? 3: best place to get real mx reds ?

Hi!, I just recieved my K70 RGB Mx Brown but I'm thinking of exchanging it for a K95 RGB because I came up with a lot of uses for macros, but please let me know if I'm dreaming, or if these are really useful. Uses: 1. Sleep mode button 2. Launching netflix in microsoft edge(so that I can watch in 1080p) 3. Emoticons 4. Cut/Copy/Paste/insert link(Google Docs) 5. Taskmanager 6. Soundswitch 7. Profile Switching Would you pay the extra cost for these macros? Btw, I've gotten offers on both the K70 RGB and K95 RGB for quite a lot less than they originally are. Reference: Corsair Strafe(non rgb): 1250kr K70rgb: 1290kr (usually 1750kr) K95rgb: 1635kr (Usually 2090kr) So is it worth it? Will I use them?

Corsair Gaming K95 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard — Cherry MX Blue I just bought mine (I received an email "notify me" when available - from Corsair). It does have the Corsair Gaming logo, but I think I can overlook that opposed to getting my hands on Blue Switches. I heard the reason Corsair stopped making these switches was because of little demand. This is not what I experienced while reading across the Internet. I also heard these switches had several production problems, but hopefully Cherry has worked all that out (if it was true). I would prefer to have the original logo, but at this point, I have moved on from all that hype. Who has this keyboard (or any other Corsair variation with Blue Switches)?

[i'll try to make this as easy to understand as possible! This is my first ever review and English is not my native language so if you see some weird grammar and stuffs, sorry!] So a few days ago, I got myself a Corsair K95 RGB, brown switch. I've been using this keyboard for 4 days now and I wanted to give you guys my opinion on it! Simply put, the keyboard is amazing, although it has some major problems and some nit-picky thing that are more of a preference than anything else. I will be comparing this keyboard to my old CMStorm QuickfirePro at some times to give you guys some kind of comparison. So with that out of the way, let's get into this thing! Introduction The K95 RGB is Corsair's flagship keyboard at the time of this review, featuring "16.8 million" color lighting per key and 18 macro keys all together, inside the package you find a detachable wrist-rest, some quick start manual, warranty card, and the keyboard itself. SPECS (from Corsair's website) First Impressions, design and build quality When I first took the keyboard out of the box, I was already impressed with the super solid feel it has, almost no flex at all! The brushed aluminum finish looks incredible and is really hard to scratch. I've tried scratching the surface with my nails and you could see the white trail on the keyboard but it is very easy to wipe it off with your fingers. The keycaps feels great, they are ABS and compared to the ones on the Quickfire Pro, they're a bit thicker (?). The finish on the keycaps kind of worries me that it will get "shiny" with some use because of it's smooth surface, time will tell! The detachable wrist-rest feels sturdy and has a soft-rubberized texture that I really like, it does feel very comfortable. It snaps onto the keyboard and locks into place with 2 screws on the sides. Ease of setting up and software Remember when Linus said he had no idea how to do anything when he got his K70 RGB? This was also the case for me. First, there are 2 USB plug. If I recall correctly, one is usb 2.0 and usb 3.0. You plug the usb 3.0 one and you're done. However, if you only have usb 2.0 port, then you'll have to plug in both, no big deal. After that, I went to Corsair's website and downloaded the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) and the manual, which I discovered later that it was 153 pages long, whoops. Without reading the manual, I went into CUE and tried to figure out everything by myself, frustrated I couldn't even figure out to do the simplest of tasks like "HOW DO I MAKE THOSE COOL GRADIENTS I SEE IN OTHER PEOPLE'S REVIEW?" or "WHERE CAN I GET REACTIVE LIGHTING???" I ended up spending hours and hours watching tutorials on Youtube and browsing on Corsair's forum to learn the fundamentals and downloaded the lighting profiles I found nice. (which is actually okay for me but definitely not okay for people who just want to plug-and-play.) The software is confusing and riddled with little annoying bugs ,not expected from a $190 keyboard at all. Some of the profiles I downloaded didn't work and it kept piling up in the "lighting effects" tab which the only way you can clean them up is to manually delete them yourself. (and risk messing up the other profiles that you want to keep) Downgrading to v1.3.70 solved the profile errors. Actual usage, typing experiences and opinions on MX Brown I play game a lot, not games that require insanely fast double-tapping or games that will benefit from the macro keys that much. In CS:GO I was able to program some of the G keys to automatically buy a full loadout for me with ease, so that's one good thing about the macro keys. As a digital artist, I can program the different G keys to do different actions that would otherwise require me to take my hands off the tablet pen. You can also program the keys to switch between profiles and lighting modes, useful when you friends come over to your home and you just want to show off your colorful flamboyant keyboard! ;D Other than gaming, I also type a lot. Like, literally 70% of when I'm using this keyboard, it's typing. I consider myself to be quite fast at typing and being able to type for a long time comfortably is very important to me, and Cherry MX Browns certainly do not disappoint. Switching from MX Blues, I was able to type noticeably faster and more consistent (and not annoy the heck out of whoever is in my room!). Loading up 10fastfingers.com, I got 132 WPM on the first run ever with this keyboard which is unusual for me since I've been hovering around 120 WPM for a few months with the MX blues. Ended up breaking my old record and got a 136 WPM run. I was less prone to making mistakes and I could type more comfortably without my mind having to wait for the "click" to know that the key is pressed. Very nice. PROS - insanely solid construction - programmable macro keys - a lot of customizability - quick switch between profiles and volume controller + some media keys - it uses actual Cherry MX switches instead of Kailh - it's Corsair (pfffft) CONS AND NIT-PICKY STUFFS - clunky and not so user-friendly software - that damn 153 page manual - no cable routing options - did i mention the really thick cables - keycaps feels a bit cheap, although I don't really mind! - that logo is stupid, but again, i don't mind! - no usb-passthrough Final Score - 9/10 Conclusion Although the software is rigged with bugs, the K95 RGB blew me away with it's capabilities. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a nice, not too gamer-ish looking keyboard (that logo tho ewwww) that performs well and looks great. The RGB customization is a really nice touch, you can literally adapt this keyboard to any color-scheme your build or your workstation has. Would buy from Corsair again! c; Finally, a sound comparison video between my two keyboards and switches! More pics!

Hi, I am thinking about buying either the K70 or K95, although the new RGB models came out, and in Linus's video I saw him using the new Corsair software for managing macros on the K70. Anyways here are my questions: 1) Will the old K70 and K95 get the same software that the new K70 and K95 RGB's get (of course without all the color modification)? 2) Is there any difference between the old USB port management of the K70 and K95 in comparison with the new ones? 3) Regarding question 1, if the software isn't available for the old K70 and K95, should I buy the NEW K70 RGB or the OLD K95 (New K95 too expensive for me)? So yeah, I like macros for working and for gaming, and I am torn apart between these four keyboards. Because of how IMO i don't want to 'waste' my money just for the RGB colors (again MY opinion), and I want the best option i can get for macro management on these corsair keyboards. P.S Dont suggest any other keyboards, based on my research i think i would prefer corsair
