Hello there, Yesterday I attempted to boot Overwatch, and right as it was starting up, the GPU fans started screaming and the screen went black with "No video detected". I simply rebooted the PC and carried on, later I was able to play a little bit of Rocket League with no issues. This morning, however, the same thing happened when I tried opening Rocket League again, I then updated my drivers hoping it would solve the problem. Afterwards, I was able to boot the game and play a few matches, but at a moment when I was checking some stuff in the menu, the very same thing happened, super loud fans and black screen. I have no idea what could be causing this and I'm not sure how to google it either, so I ask if anyone has had this happen before and how can I solve it, since I don't want it to happen right as I am in the middle of a Competitive match or whatever. Note that I have been using this card since February (previously had an R9 290X), and never had such an issue. Hi Community, im having a problem with both of my PC's: They keep starting by themselves without reason. Sometimes i leave to go to my parents place for a weekend, and when i come back my pc is running -.- I think its the mainboards fault, maybe some wrong settings, because my 2nd build is doing the same thing, and its running the same ASrock Z97 Anniversary Mainboard. Of course i disabled wake up from lan. Heres a screenshot of my bios setting... I just dont know what to do anymore... Its really annoying having a PC that starts by itself all the time. Hello, I have an H170-Gigabyte Gaming-3 LGA1151 motherboard, and it keeps turning itself on. I have an i5 6600k, and an EVGA GTX 1060. If you need any more specs or details, I have them. The problem is that my computer keeps turning itself on after I turn it off, so I have to turn it off by the power supply or unplug it. I checked and I don't have power schedules or wake on LAN enabled, so please help me so I can fix this problem. Have a good day. Hello everybody hope you're all having a good day!. lately I've been experiencing problems with my 1 year old setup (something around that idk). I'm running windows 10. Specs: PSU: Seasonic 850w psu 80+ gold certified (Probably what's causing the problems) Motherboard: Asus x370 pro CPU: Ryzen 1700x @Stock speeds GPU: Gtx 1080 Windforce (didn't know that they had 2 models :()) HDD: Western digital black 1tb Ram: 1x16gb corsair vengeance 3000Mhz @Stock Bios version 3306 if I'm not mistaking gonna check and update the post if I'm wrong. The pc is NOT overheating the highest temp my cpu ever reached was like 36-40. it's running under 36 degrees most of the time. My Problem: I pasted it from what I wrote in a discord chat. Too lazy to write about my problem again!. My PC won't shutdown at times for example today I was going to hang out with friends and I tried shutting down my pc like 2 or 3 times but when I came back in the room it was on again so I turned it off closed the door I was out for like 2 hours and when I came back my pc was on again after that I shut it down again and it was just stuck on a black screen with the fans and leds running.... and now it's really bothering me because I was just laying on my bed my pc was on and it just restarted by itself for no reason at all. I was just using Chrome (one tab) when it happened. However, I have yet to encounter problems while gaming and Heaven benchmark looks fine. I've also been experiencing crashes (e.g. black screen with movable cursor, or multiple programs will just stop running). I have turned off the "automatically restart" option under "system failure" in Advanced System Settings, so I can see the blue screen error message if it happens again. What are the possible causes/fixes? These fixes have not worked: DDU and install newest Nvidia driver. Removed malware. System file checker. EDIT: I think I found the error in Event Viewer. Critical. Event ID: 41. Source: Kernel-Power. The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. EDIT 2: I changed sleep settings to "never" under "hard disk" and "sleep" in advanced power settings. Hi! So today when I was about to start my computer which had been sitting disconnected for about 3-4 days. And when I would type in my password it kept filling in the box with, what I assumed was, a random letter. So i though the keyboard was stuck, restarted the computer with the keyboard disconnected but it still kept writing this random letter. So i clicked on the password recovery button and when it told me to choose which usb-drive to load the password recovery file from it wrote "060606" repeatedly. I have googled it but can't find anything but laptops with their keyboards stuck. So I tried starting from a past recovery point, but It said that I don't have any which I think is strange. So is this a virus I've gotten? or just an annoying bug..

I've had this problem for quite a while and never really bothered doing anything about it, but it's starting to really get on my nerves. It mainly does two things: 1. Changes the sorting in places that's not File explorer windows (Window for Add/remove programs, or the Games window, for example) 2. Deactivates "Show window content when using Drag 'n drop" or whatever that setting's called. It does this completely at random. Has anyone else experienced this before?
