Other details Current Pc configuration: Ryzen 5 3600xt (awaiting a valid reasonto upgrade) Xfx 5600xt thicc III ultra (the to-be-replaced card) Corsair RM 650x 16 Gb 3200mhz (one day to-be-32) Tomahawk b450 max The question is (630€) EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING OC (LHR) P/N 08G-P5-3767-KL VS (610€) MSI RTX 3070 VENTUS 3X PLUS 8G OC (LHR) P/N V390-457R Should I go for the EVGA, are the 20 extra justified? Or should I grab the MSI instead? Both are new products and yes, they are the best prices I could find in my country, happy to be called an internet-surfing idiot and be presented cheaper options though c: I'm asking here e just because the "GPU comparison sites" from what I understand, are crap. The data looks pulled out from the ass of an AI who built the comparison by auto-picking googled results. And the 3070 is not as trendy as the 80s, so youtube was only partially helpful. I need real data from real users. Please help. Thanks in advance Here are the pretty reenders to have an quick idea of the products I'm talking about

Hi guys I have some experience in building a PC but I haven't followed the tech lately so I don't know what's good/worth buying so looking for some help in putting together a new build. 1. Budget & Location 1400 EUR (Italy) or roughly 1500 USD. I already own peripherals, monitor and a copy of windows so they're not needed. I do need an optical drive though. 2. Aim Work mainly and a bit of gaming. I mainly use my PC for work (programming) and some tools are very resource heavy (in terms of memory and processing); plus I always have a lot of applications open at a time. As for gaming I don't play a lot and the games I do play (e.g. league of legends) are not very resource demanding. With that being said, I would still like to keep this option open so a mid-high tier GPU is better. 3. Monitors I own a 23'' 60Hz monitor which is begging to be upgraded but it works and gets the job done so I'm not looking to upgrade it yet. Supports VGA, HDMI, DP and DVI. 4. Peripherals I do already have a keyboard and a mouse but I wouldn't mind getting an RGB mechanical keyboard. Just a preference though, main priority is the rig. 5. Why are you upgrading? My motherboard (LGA1155) died a few days ago and since it was a 2012 build, I'm looking to put together a new build. This build is going to have to last me nearly a decade so I would like for it to have more rather than less, if that makes sense. Preferences Preferably 32GB 3200+ MHz RAM. As for brands, I'm a fan of Intel and Nvidia so that would be a huge plus. I also would like if the case had RGB options (as for the RAM). If you guys think something else is better/more suited, I'm open to suggestions. What I've put together so far is this: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $339.00 Memory Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory €192.01 @ Amazon Italia Storage Samsung 970 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive €296.00 @ Amazon Italia Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive €39.93 @ Amazon Italia Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total €527.94 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-11-24 17:16 CET+0100 What's missing is what I can't decide on. Thank you.

Hi, a friend of mine needs a laptop which its main purpose will be AutoCAD work, both 2D and 3D. I had a rough idea of the specifications of the laptop she should get, but upon further researches on the mighty internet, I am more confused than when I started. I was trying to understand what component should be the most important for doing AutoCad work, since I knew that GPU were the most important part, but I wanted to be sure. Everybody seems to have their own opinion on that, there's who says that the GPU is the most important part, other say that's the CPU, other say that it's the RAM, and other even say that's the SSD, so I came here trying to get a clear answer. What is the most important component for an AutoCAD computer for both 2D and 3D work? Now for the laptop suggestion part. What she wants is a under 1000€ laptop that has great battery life, can do both 2D and 3D AutoCAD, and that has a maximum of 15 inch screen, possibly not too heavy to carry around. She doesn't care about thick bezels, aesthetics, thunderbolt, or gaming capabilities. For the CPU I was thinking that an i5 8250u or an i7 8550u would be great, but wasn't sure what to chose between the two, since I didn't understand how big of a role the CPU would play in AutoCAD; for the GPU I was thinking that a 1050 (non TI) would be fine, but reading around the forums I saw that many people said that an MX130 or MX150 would be plenty enough for this kind of workload. Also, I would install a 256 GB SSD, NVME if possible. She is an architect student, so I don't think that she will have to do a lot of heavy 3D work, just some medium-basic workloads. Also, if possible, a backlit keyboard would be a great feature, but it's not necessary. For her money is a big deal and if she could save a couple of hundred euros it would be great. That's why I'm searching really into what AutoCAD needs to work properly, because having to buy a laptop with an i5 and MX130 would cost about 650€, while an i7 with a 1050 would cost about 1000€ and that it's quite a big difference, so please don't suggest something with an i7 8700HQ and a 1070 MaxQ, because it just won't be feasible. I used Intel/Nvidia parts just because it seems that there are more laptops with them, but AMD components are welcome, if they can satisfy the requirements. So, recapping Requirements: AutoCAD 3D (medium-light workload) Great battery life Max 15 inch screen Under 1000€ Backlit Keyboard (optional) Location: Italy.

Hi everyone, i need a pc for university (i'm studying chemistry at university in Italy) and i plan to use it also for gaming. I have a budget of 800-900€. This is my first time building a pc and i am absolutly not an expert so i have a LOT of question. The build i have come up so far is - ryzen 5 1600 (€147,49 on amazon.it) - a b350 motherboard for about €80 - stock amd cooler - 8 gb of ram (70-90€) - ssd 240gb + hd 1tb for about 50€ each one - power supply 50-60€ - gtx 1060 6gb (304€ on evga site) So my questions are 1) what is a good case for 50€ 2) what monitor is good for a 1060 6gb (60hz? 75hz? 144hz?) 3) what power supply do i need (wattage and 80+ bronze or not?, modular or not?) 4)are 8 gb of ram enough for now and can i upgrade them later, and what frequency do i need for ryzen 5 1600? 5) what is a good ryzen motherboard for about 80€ (I maybe decide to try some overclocking in future so i think a b350 is good right?) Thanks to everyone i know these are a lot of questione but i am very new to pc

Hello everyone, help for new build needed here! My father needs a new PC, he works in marketing&communications so he'll be using MS office, photoshop, Adobe professional, paint net...(I don't even know half of the programs he uses, he works a lot with 2D graphics). We already own a i5-4460 CPU and he'll use a 16:10 1920x1200 monitor (I put a similar one in the pcpartpicker list, the exact model is not present there). The budget is around 520 euros (700 minus the 180 used for the CPU which was on sale, he just coudn't resist the temptation ) What do you think about it? Any recommendation especially for the MoBo? http://it.pcpartpicker.com/p/HbppwP We'll buy from amazon.it, so if you check pcpartpicker change the location to Italy and keep in mind that prices here are higher than US... SSD is not strictly needed, I'd prefer a better GPU/a bit more RAM/better Mobo for some more future-proofing. Thank you very much, or grazie mille! EDIT: peripherals not needed, if you have any suggestions for some cheap mouse and keyboard any tip is welcome, but they're out of the budget and we'll spend as little as possible because he just doesn't care...

Can anyone help me pick parts to make this essential gaming €350 pc? You can go up to 400€ since I will be buying some used components if I find them.

Summary The web portal of the Lazio Region has been blocked since the 1th of August due to a hacker attack; all systems were deactivated, including those of the Health portal and the vaccination network. This was announced by the regional Covid-19 Crisis Unit, explaining that "operations relating to vaccinations may be slowed down". The attack was reported to the competent authorities in Italy and abroad, including the FBI. The objective of the investigators, also by cross-referencing the data provided from abroad, is to identify any similarities with other attacks made in the past with cryptolocker ransomware that took place in Italy and also abroad. Meanwhile, the councilor for health D'Amato specifies that "All the data relating to the over 7 million vaccine administrations performed are in our possession and no data from the Regional Vaccine Registry has been subtracted, like no other health data, nor from the File Electronic Health ". The president of the Lazio Region, Nicola Zingaretti, in a post on Facebook speaks of "a very serious fact", which "blocks a fundamental service". "We apologize to the citizens for the inevitable inefficiencies - he writes - we reported the attack to the authorities and I thank all the employees who have been at work since tonight to defend the plant and to get back to normal". The site of the Lazio Region is not currently accessible (Regione.Lazio.it) Five days after the hacker attack that blocked the entire computer system of the Lazio Region, bookings for the administration of vaccines have restarted. An important service for citizens, given the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic still underway, but certainly not the only one. In fact, there are many activities linked to the Region's site that are not yet accessible. The sources are in Italian, but I think that you can translate them in English with no problem. Quotes *The Green Pass is a Europe-wide document that confirms that you are vaccinated. In Italy is mandatory for entering in restaurant, hotel, cinema, etc. My thoughts This attack is an attack on a service witch is very important for the Lazio Region's population. I don't live in Lazio (I live in Campania) but they were targeting the entire Italyf or me. I don't fell safe considering that the major portion of the Pubblic Administation is digitized and vulnerable for that matter. Our laws are not ready for a dititalized Italy, and this demonstrates it.
