As the title says I'm currently looking for a true wireless in-ear headset. For many of my activities I need to be able to talk to someone on the phone and to someone else in person at the same time or alternating. Typically I would have one ear-piece in to use for the call, and have the other ear free to hear my surroundings, but due to a recent medical development I'm currently unable to hear voices on one of my ears, so I need to be able to hear the call as well as other people around me on a single ear. I've done some research myself, and the most promising marketing text I found was for the Huawei Freebuds Pro: But since this isn't the typical application for most users, I can't find many reviews on how well this feature actually works. I already have an unopened pack of AirPods Pro lying around, but since I will be using mostly Android and PC, I'm probably going to sell the AirPods and get something else instead. Anybody have some experience with the Freebuds Pro and can tell me how well the "Voice Mode" works? Or any suggestions for other devices? Open to anything, Sony, Jabra, Sennheiser, Samsung etc. as long as it does the job and functionality is not limited on Android devices (boo AirPods)

So im looking for a good pair of in-ear earbuds that i can use daily. I need them to have good battery life, good sound, minimal or no static/white noise at all in the background, compact and small, and good bass is a +. price range is around 80-110 USD. Ive found these so far, but they might be a bit too big for my taste. Another thing they need is they MUST be like the iphone headphones, Hard and no rubber thing. I dont know why but i hate those like that. The hard ones is more comfortable for me: And NOT like this:

in-ear Recommendations on some audiophile-grade in-ear headphones.
jippa_lippa posted a topic in Audio
Hello Everyone. I have always been a music enthusiast, and I spent lots of years ripping my CDs and collecting high quality music files, when available. My favourite type of headphones have always been the open-back variety, as I love the natural quality of the sound. Unfortunately because of some complications with my teeth and jaw (I won't go into the technicalities) I have to undergo a therapy that makes me feel extremely uncomfortable when applying pressure to the side of my face, as a result I won't be able to ear over-the-ears headphones for a while. Still, I do not want to completely let go of some high quality music listening, therefore I wanted to invest in a pair of audiophile-grade in-hear headphones; I don't mind spending some money if I get some good quality in return. The trouble is that with this whole covid situation lots of models seem to suffer from a lack of availability, therefore I'm trying to assemble the largest list possible of great-quality sounding in-ear headphones, so that I can snag a pair whener it becomes available online. These are the features I'm looking for: The main and only focus is music, therefore I do not care about the looks, comfort, cable length and so on. The sound quality is king The headphones need to have a cable, as I'd attach them to my external audio interface I'm looking for a balanced model, with good response in all frequencies. I do not want a model with amazing bass to the expense of treble response. I currently have the KZ ZS10 Pro In-Ear Monitors, which I think are very good quality, but I'd like to upgrade. These are the models I took interst in but if you have additional ones to suggest, please do: Creative Aurvana Trio (wired) (Out of stock) Creative Aurvana In-Ear3 Plus (Limited Stock) 1More Triple Driver (In Stock) 1More Quad Driver (In Stock) Thank you very much for your precious assistance -
I was looking for an upgrade on my ageing A40 headset and I've wondered if a pair of in-ear headphones and a separate USB mic might be a better option. I usually just game on my PC and do most of my work online, nothing major like video/music editing. Does anyone recommend or have experience using in-ear headphones as a daily audio driver on their PC and if so, is there a trade-off in sound quality over using a headset for around the same price. I would assume a good enough quality set of earphone would possibly exceed a good branch of major headsets. Any recommendations on quality in-ear headphones would also be great.

Hi everybody, I'm coming to you today with a very common problem but I'm wondering if there's a simple solution to this. Where there are people actually responding. I'm currently using BOSE Quiet Comfort Acoustic In-Ear on my PC and it's the first generation one's, not the ones with a working controller or with the nice new blue cable accents. Anyways, back to the point. I originally bought these for the sake of listening to my Walkman and since then also picked up PC gaming. I'm very competitive and with the active noise cancelling feature on these in-ear's it's almost like god's work. However! Since using them I've noticed this weird 'buzz' sound only happening to the right side. I've checked tons of tips/tricks/fixes about this and yes, I have grounded my PC and it has it's own electrical socket. With the active noise canceling off, the buzz sound stops. This only happens when using it with a PC. The buzz is even worse on laptops. So what do I do? Will this force me to buy a new pair of headphones/earphones specifically for my PC? This pair wasn't that cheap... if so, what are some of your recommendations then if this sounds like a problem that can't be fixed? I won't be able to hear as precise sounds when switching to headphones but anything that keeps me away from the buzzing sound. P.S. I did follow the youtube video stating that it might be a broken windshield inside. This did not work.

Hello everyone, Can somebody recommend me some good in-ear headphones for Note 4? I'm looking for some crispy + bass sound that would cost less then 50$. The thing is that not all headphones are the same, some good headphones might be good on Iphone but and bad for my Note 4. The ones that came with the phone pretty lame.

First of all thanks to everyone in the community for the guides on audio gear and other stuff. Really helped me out a few times. I am looking for comfortable in-ear headphones for below 100€. At the moment I am using generic 10€ headphones, so probably everything is a huge upgrade. I will use them mainly with my Android phone and Laptop. As I mainly use headphones when studying I'll listen mainly classic or instrumental music and maybe podcasts on the bus. If you know headphones slightly above my budget but they "blow your socks of"TMI'll also consider them. I'm mainly looking for a good value. Thanks for your help

Is there a best Bluetooth PC dongle for wireless "in-ear" head phones? I don't have them but I want to use a product like the Apple AirPods with my PC. I understand that lag is an issue in this type of product and I'd like to avoid that as much as possible. When listening to music lag is fine but audio lag while watching video is not enjoyable. So far I've found the Avantree Leaf is being reported as the product I’m looking for but I’d rather have unbiased opinions. Thanks!

Hi, so the case here is I need to buy new headphones since my Bose SoundSport® in-ear headphones have died (which I loved a lot) after using them for 3 years. The new pair needs to be in-ear headphones, comfortable, high-quality sound, have a mic and with a price range of $100-150. I am a little bit leaning towards wireless but I am open for the suggestions. One more thing to note, they need to be easy to fold and put in a pocket and small, so I don't prefer those wireless ones with that neckband part in them. To summarize my thoughts here: -Headphones type: in-ear headphones -Main concerns: sound quality and comfort -Price range: $100-150 -Phone OS: Android I thought about getting the same Bose ones I had but if you guys have better options I would love to hear that. Thanks! Good day everyone. I am an Italian user who would like to buy some decent in-ear headphones to especially listen to classical music. My current setup is rather simple, I have an AsRock Z77 Pro 4 as motherboard, which supports 7.1 CH HD Audio with Content Protection (Realtek ALC892 Audio Codec), according to the specifications. Oh, I use GNU/Linux Gentoo as main and only operating system. I have a OnePlus 5T as well. I bought the Meze 11 Neo about three months ago: they were very good in my opinion (I was used to extremely cheap headphones), however the sound from the left earbud suddenly diminished and it was barely audible. Anyway, I would appreciate if you could point me in the right direction towards a pair of good in-ear headphones. I am interested in the Shure SE215 (either the normal or special version) as suggested on the guide on this site, especially because the cable is detachable (so if ti breaks, it can be replaced, and as far as I understood, you can even turn them into bluetooth ones). However, someone told me I would absolutely require a DAC+AMP in order to fully use them. However (again!), here the guide about headphones basically states that if your budget is under 200 $ you do not need to bother with either a DAC or an AMP. Well, that's all I guess. alogim

For the past 2 years I have been using Apple EarPods for all my mobile listening and to sleep in, going through a pair every 3-4 months, I am finally fed up with paying $35 all the time and want a good pair of headphones that will last, I am thinking $100-$150 CAD is a good price range, right now I am really looking at the Shure se215 (https://www.amazon.ca/Shure-SE215-K-Sound-Monitor-Black/dp/B004PNZFZ8/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1520999910&sr=1-2&keywords=shure+se215&dpID=311N0kFs2UL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch) because of the removable cable as well as the good sound and noise isolation. Preferably I want a neutral sound as I want to do video editing with them. I'm thinking I should get them now as I am going on a trip soon and want a good pair of earbuds to take with me that will fit in my pocket everywhere I go. My biggest priority is durability as I will be sleeping in them every night, as I listen to music, especially if I am paying this much for them, I want them to last me 2+ years.

Hi, I have been looking into getting a nice pair of in-ear headphones and found the Shure SE215 here. I really like them for the (supposedly) good sound quality and particularly for the option to interchange individual parts which guarantees a long life-span. However, I am now torn between paying ~120€ for the wired SE215 incl. the in-line remote (which is important to me) and ~140€ for the BT-version (which comes with the remote). I am willing to pay the extra 20€ for the flexibility, that comes with wireless headphones, however, I have always had a problem with the constant humming that I experienced with all of the BT-headphones I have tried (both cheap in-ears I owned and the Bose QE my friend owns). So, how much is audio quality affected by BT? Do I get (close to) the same quality with the wireless version + added flexibility? Or am I limiting the quality the buds could produce by having the input be wireless? Thanks a lot!

I've always been in the minority when it comes to earbuds/earphones. I quite like the Intra-Concha earphones style that just sits within the inner bowl of the ear, but I haven't been able to find any that are designed well and are durable, more so than the ipod earphones. I've been purchasing some $30 ones that seem to only last 9 months to a year at most; I can't keep doing that. I like the comfort and 'open back' effect that the Intra-Concha style has that allows me to hear everything around me so I don't accidentally ignore people who are trying to talk to me or get run over by a car or something when walking around outside. I don't want to compromise comfort and my ability to hear my surroundings just to have a quality pair of in-ears. I've just purchased some Steelseries Flux In-Ear Pros that I quite like the aesthetics of as well as the swappable cable, over-ear cable run, and the balanced armature design. The only drawback - and I mean only - is that I don't like that it drops the ambient sound by what sounds like 10-15db when worn properly. I'm afraid that I'll be that guy that you have to tap his shoulder to talk to when he has his headphones in, just to get his attention. I was wondering if there are some crazy workarounds for this other than taking one ear out. Perhaps something like a fabric ear-tips or maybe even drilling a precise hole in the back of the plastic, closed-back to let more sound waves in. I would like to hear everyone's opinion on this, link me to anything you think might be a solution or add to the conversation. Edit: I know why sound isolation is important, but for my use these are only for taking out of the house.

Hello, I'm looking for a new pair of earphones to buy and I need some advice. I've been using the sennheiser momentum in-ear for a couple of months and I really loved the sound. I liked the clarity and the punchiness of the music, I like to listen to every instrument and be able to hear any detail. The momentum were pretty good at that, unfortunately, I didn't find them really comfortable and and I couldn't use them while sleeping on the side. (I like to listen to music while sleeping). They broke twice so I decided to give them back for the last time and try a new pair. I bought the Shure SE215, and I've been using them for a week now. This is the opposite of the momentum, the shure are super comfortable for me, I don't even feel them when i use them, and plus I can sleep with them no problem. But the sounds.. I didn't really like it. I looked it up on internet and I read a lot of reviews saying the audio was superb, but I didn't really dig it. It felt flat to me and "washed out", I had to be very careful to listen to the instruments on the backgroud and catching little details. I liked the bass tho. I don't know, I just hope someone can advise me here because it seems like i can't find the right earphones for me. My budget would be around 150 €/$ max 200 if it's really worth it. I listen to every kind of music honestly, but mostly I listen to hiphop/rap and Posthardcore Metal (yeah I know two very different types of music but that's what I like ) . Since I liked the momentum I was looking at the IE60 (The 80 are unavailable for now at amazon.it and that's where I have to buy them ). Can anybody that tried the IEs tell me if they're good ? Soundwise? And can you sleep with them on on the side? Thanks a lot to everyone that will answer (or just take the time to read this). If I made some grammar mistakes please forgive me! English isn't my main language.

Should i pick the audio thecnica or the Sennheiser ones? Does anyone have experience with any of those headphones or a recomendation in the same price range? Looking for clarity

Hey friends, I need a new pair of Earbuds. I'm on a very tight budget. Can only spend around 30$ on it. They don't necessarily need any Headset features, just a standard pair of stereo in-ear headphones. I hope some of you can recommend something. I am not a audiophile and don't have a particular sound preference. I listen to Rock, Pop and Classic music mostly. They will be used outside travelling (train, plane, etc .. - not car though, because that's bad! Looking at you Linus Sebastian). Thanks in advance :*
