So I work for the local YMCA in the child watch center. I watch kids ages 3-12 years old and make sure they don't hurt themselves. I can't calm a screaming child to save my life. So I worked a shift from noon to 4pm and things began to get interesting. Two kids who see me constantly because I work so much decided I was a jungle gym to climb on. One little one decided the leg was the best spot to hang on while her sister decided my head is the best target. They came from 2 different directions one from my left and the other off a bench on my right. Once both children had a death grip hugging me the others came. Two boys, brothers of course, decided to aid in this assault on my balance. One came head on and tried to near tackle my waist. The other was going for the free leg. Through sweat and tears I trudged my way to the bench. More. It was one then it was ten. All in one giant pile of arms, legs, and heads on one bench. If this doesn't get sent across the building I will be surprised.

Hey so I got some random cheapo wifi card to test reception in my room. Got perfect reception so now I need/want an actual wireless card bc the usb one will be for my friend's pc when he drags his pc over. Just has to be PCIe or w/e. I had an old one I ripped from a pc but it was some old format that wasn't pci(e) and didn't fit in my mobo. So that kinda went out the window. Just recommend good stuff or w/e and I'll come up with decent price range through looking at recommendations. I have the option to also get a wired connection in my room (long story will be made short below), I'm looking into that but this will be a good substitute for now (could be like a month until I actually buy the adapter) bc I don't play a lot of ping dependent games. Long story made short edition: -house has 2 phone lines -both setup n stuff -one in use -one not in use -phone plug in my room is on the one not in use -could get my own internet connection for like 50CAD/month + installation (50CAD) and router rentage fee, need to look into it tho I'll probs end up doing the long story made short edition at some point but I need to get more info from the company I'll be using. Anyways for now please recommend away, thanks for any help/advice! If you need more info feel free to ask, I can explain anything I put in this thread in a clearer light if needed (I think).

I made my mini itx pc about a year ago and last night I unplugged. This morning when I plugged it back in, the pc wouldn't display bios or os. All the fans/leds are running, although at a lot higher rpm than usual. I tried everything from reseating ram, new cables, testing psu etc. Any help?

I have a very annoying problem. Ever since I upgraded to Ryzen a few months ago,I've had problems with specific games crashing. The weird thing is, the problem seems to be getting progressively worse. It started out with GTA 5. It would be playable for about 30 seconds, then would freeze. Instead of getting into annoying troubleshooting I just decided "oh well, I guess I'm not playing this" and moved on. Now comes Fallout 4. For a long long time it ran completely fine. But come a few weeks ago, it does the same thing as GTA, except this time it simply closes instead of freezing. Then, I buy DOOM, play it for half an hour, it hard-crashes. I try Kingdom Come Deliverance, same thing. The part that's weird is, non steam games like Assassins Creed 3, The Crew, and Battlefield 1 all work fine. Believe me, I have tried almost everything. I've updated every driver for every component, flashed my bios, underclocked my ram, uninstalled steam along with every steam game and reinstalled, updated redistributables, everything short of just buying a new computer. My specs are as follows: Ryzen 5 1600, stock MSI B350 Tomahawk Avexir 8gb DDR4 2400mhz Powercolor R9 380 And a 750 watt Coolermaster psu Anything helps.

so I installed a new seagare barracuda 4tb onto my comp and now its not letting me install windows because its in gpt.Is there a way around this or do I have to convert it back to MDR( or somethin like that) and if so how do you do it.Thanks

My newly built computer, it's my first build, is running fine. I have only encountered one problem so far and thats what I'm hoping someone can help me figure out. My motherboard should come with a quite decent sound system so I disn't invest in a sound card. So here's the problem, whenever I plug in a headset either in my keyboard, that's conected with another audio jack to the pc, or when I plug it directly into my computer all sound that comes out is loud popping, cracking, buzzing and screeching. This sound is constent, whenever I turn on a video the weird sounds follow the audio from the video. When the video audio increases the buzzing, popping... increases with it. When I press my keyboard my headset makes a noice and when I move my mouse it does aswell. I'm using a smaller tv as a monitor atm and the hdmi audio comes out loud and clear from the speakers, so the audio in itself should be fine. I've tested multiple headsets and the all give the same results. I've also tried them on another source to confirm that they are working. My motherboard is an ASUS B58M-GAMER, my GPU is an MSI GTX 980 4G, the case is a Phanteks Enthoo Pro M and my OS is Windows 8.1 Pro. For drivers I got the latest downloaded for my audio directly from the ASUS website. I don't know what to do at this point. Any help is very much appriciated, thank you

I'm doing L'Hospital's Rule and there are three problems I'm stuck on and I just absolutely can't figure them out... even when using Google. :p So here they are: 1) lim(x->0) (1/x - 1/ln(1+x)) I'm getting 2 for this but WolframAlpha is telling me I should be getting -1/2 2) lim(x->1) x^(1/(x-1)) I haven't gotten an answer for this but I'm stuck in a product/quotient rule process that seems to be getting infinitely messy, and usually the rule of this class thus far has been "if it gets messy you're doing something wrong or there's a better way to do it" 3) lim(x->0+) x^tanx This one I'm honestly just lost on getting set up to use L'Hospital's in the first place Thanks for any help

So I just sealed my bubble mailer and realized there is some considerable amount of space where I could've put in more buble wrap/cushions, however I already sealed the bag. Could I cut into the sides and put in more bubble crap in it and then reseal it with tape and hot glue? -

Sooooo I got a 500GB SSD and I was kinda wanting to make a 50-100GB partition to use as a scratch disk for Photoshop, Premiere pro and Shadow Play. Would this work or should I just put them in a folder on the main partition? Thankz Peoplez!

Hi! Basically I installed Cyanogenmod Yesterday because I was curious and TouchWiz ain't that good and used Samsung Kies 3 to backup all of my data (apps, Settings, Images and such) But now when I'm trying to recover all of it I can't, At all! Samsung Kies won't recognise the phone. What I need the most from there are my contacts and a couple apps. I used to have 800+ contacts, now I have 5. The backup is saved to my computer if that changes anything. Thanks <3 -
Basically after a few months with my SSD i finally made it so to have enough space for the OS and games courtesy of Linuses new video so as i had the Samsung Evo 500gb SSD i used "Samsung data migration" which cloned everything over so i had a tonne of crap on my SSD so i deleted a huge bit of it now i get all theses weird errors. Hello, i've recently gotten the BenQ XL2420Z, i've read the manual, and followed it with driver installs and everything. But i can't figure out how to set it to 144hz. I use windows, and when i go to screen res > Advanced options > monitor. The refresh rate tab doesn't let me go above 60hz, i've installed the proper drivers and everything. I use a DVI-D cable, and my gfx card is from the AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series. I don't know if that changes anything but i thought it might help. Please help! /Hannes.

My friends were waiting for me to come play Command and Conquer with them because I was busy watching the latest review (For some Logitech mouse) when one of my friends said: "You're so obsessed with that channel I'm surprised you don't have a Linus hug pillow" Then I thought, Hey! that's a great idea! Hi Guys So, today, my experience with my computer was breaking it. The story starts long, long ago in a far away land when I was testing out how loud the fan in the power supply was. I stopped the fan with an allen key. Fine. I kept doing this over a short period of time to check how much the thing heats up when the fan isn't spinning. Silly me, whilst doing this, I dropped the allen key into the the power supply. Sparks flew. It was like a firework display had been set off inside my case. 'Twas a massive shame, my computer instantly shut off as the fuse had blown in the lead. Later, I replaced the 5A fuse in the cable to find only that the power supply was still completely dead. What a shame. Hopefully, it hasn't damaged everything else as well too. I'm such a noob My question is is there anything that I can do now? Ive tried testing my power supply by bridging the green cable to the black cable. Nothing happened. And what do you think. Hey. I'm attempting to select parts for my new build. I plan on using a 24" 1ms 1440p monitor, and maybe a second one in the future. I plan to use it for playing future gen games on max settings, Full HD video editing, animation, and casual use. I haven't chosen an exact monitor or case yet. Will this build suit my needs? I'm ordering parts for my first gaming computer tomorrow and I'm having some last minute thoughts about my monitor. I was going to go with the AOC i2367fh cause it looks great, has all the stuff I need, has pretty decent reviews, and is a great price. However I saw some bad reviews and now I want some outside opinions and suggestions . This monitors gonna mostly be for gaming however after some research I think an IPS panel is definitely the way I want to go. i don't know if I want matte or glossy, I feel like I'd like matte more because glossy monitors give me a headache after a while and my room is very bright but I don't know how drowned out the colours are. So basically heres what I'm looking for 23-24 inches IPS 1080p ideal for gaming so low response time (probably like 5ms) Multiple modern connections (like 2 HDMI, or 1 HDMI and 1 DVI etc., I need two inputs and won't use VGA) I suppose I would prefer matte Around $150 would be nice but I'd go up to $200 if it was perfect Thank you all so much!

I'm planning on buying 2 corsair air series 140mm fans to put on the side window, and top Rear bracket in My Phantom 530, I'm wondering whether or not the fanhub in the case will function with non Nzxt fans, and i'm open to an Adivce about adding new fans to work with Stock ones. So I have a list of games from E3, posting this here as most of them will be available on PC. Some not but I might actually buy the game and play it on a friends console (I don't have, nor wish-well not yet- to buy a console). Had a PS3 from a friend for like a year in my possession and loved to play GT5, it was an amazing game. So anyways you can add to the list in your comments, this is my list of games that attracted my eyes on E3 (it's not a specific order): NFS Rivals (yeah I know not many of you NFS fans, but I tried all NFS games in my life so I can't miss this) Drive Club (Another awesome driving game like GranTurismo and Forza series) Tom Clancy's: The Division!! (One that I'm most certainly thrilled about, the graphics are awesome, and the little details are even more) Assassin's Creed: Black Flag (Well I'm an AC fan, who isn't :D, and anyone who want to play as an pirate captain assassin, will check this game out too) The Crew (Created by the ones from Driver: SF and Test Drive Unlimited I was expecting something better, but the 10000km supossed road to be available and quite interesting tuning to the cars atracts me. So I'm waiting for some more gameplays to see if I want to even try it out) Titanfall (no need to comment, looks awesome) Watch Dogs!!! (I guess it's one of the most expected games, looks epic, has an interesting way of going around the city, hacking into everything) Thief (I liked Dishonored, and this game is pretty much the same, will give it a try.) CoD: Ghosts (will only play the single player part, don't care much about the game, but the single player was always interesting, though lately it is the same since cod 4 or so, just a few new places around the world :) and some interesting missions) Battlefield 4 (Who wouldn't want to play this? More exactly who wouldn't want the excitement you get when you destroy for the first time a skyscraper and see it collapse making that dust on the whole map, absolutely amazing :) ) Forza 5 and GT6 (no comments again, just that awesome driving games. Maybe only reason to get a console) inFamous Second Son (not sure about this one, but I liked the trailer/e3 gameplay) PES '14 (as all other years since 2010, just to try the demo, I'm not a big fan of soccer but sometimes it's fun. Same with Fifa '14) Batman Arkham Origins (looks good, comment: Batman) Splinter Cell Blacklist (worth a try) Elder Scrolls Online (not a MMO guy, but it's still an interesting game, will check gameplays and who knows maybe get it too) Arma 3 (no comments, awesome game) Saints Row IV (another epic game, can't wait to play it. will get it for sure) Fifa '14 (already stated my thoughts about it above) Dead Rising 3 (looks promising, DR2 was quite relaxing to play online) DayZ (I know it's a mod, but didn't try it yet :) ) GTA V (Will get it for sure, I have all of them from GTA 1 to EFLC, only drawback is my PC :( need more powar! :D ) Well this is my list, hope others have some other stuff to add, comments are not required. I just felt like leaving some.
