  1. So I watched the recent video and again got cringed (again) as to why LTT still not aware of this... We all know that OEM RGB software are hot garbage, even iCUE and Chroma (I can hear the fan boys already running at me), and SignalRGB is a paid hot garbage. So you are probably asking: But Barak??? if all of them are hot garbage what do I do?! Well all you need is... OpenRGB - This will be the driver for the LEDs, it will replace all of the malware OEM software. (it's optional but extremely recommended) Artemis 2 - This will be the controller, it will set the color of the LEDs (it can also be used with the OEM drivers if the device isn't supported in OpenRGB yet) The initial setup is pretty easy, creating profiles is also pretty easy and you can use the pre-made ones from the workshop. Why it's so great? because... It's FREE forever. It's open source and very active. It's fast and lightweight, it mainly uses the GPU so it barely use any CPU unlike almost all RGB software and the GPU usage isn't noticeable. You can calibrate the LEDs to fix miss matching colors between LEDs. You can map the LEDs in physical space. It's extremely customizable and has so many effects and plugins.... You can even integrate it with AlienFX, Logitech BS, Razer Chroma and some others, it also can use stuff like PC state, power state, inputs and stuff. It will even support the Windows 11 dynamic lighting soon (Though do we really need that?...) You can even create your own DIY RGB device and control it with this.... It can be combined with Wallpaper Engine via the Chroma integration and it's Fing amazing. And many, many more I'm just too lazy to list them out. You probably saying: But Barak??? This sounds amazing but OpenRGB it warned me that it can harm my LEDs! Sometimes you need to take risks in life nah I'm kidding, Any RGB software even the OEM ones can harm your LEDs it all depends on how you drive the LEDs. It's mainly boil down to refresh rate, the higher the refresh rate the faster that you'll burn you LEDs, I personally go with 20FPS, up to 45FPS is great and even 120FPS (if you LEDs can even support that) is still somewhat ok. Some OEM software are killing your LEDs by using high refresh rate or even updating the LEDs when they are already displaying the desired color, so OpenRGB can actually extend the LEDs life span. There are some issues with specific devices that has a terrible RGB hardware, mainly MSI so if something broke check their discord. Also the device it self will probably break before the LEDs will burn out... So yeah, this is the absolute best solution to the RGB issue and so many people aren't aware of it at all... Conspiracy theory time: SignalRGB was a sponsor in the past so maybe LTT ignores this solution? who knows, but hi that's just a theory, a PC nerdy theory, thanks for reading. (R.I.P MatPat)
  2. Budget: >100 (not including case) What RGB fans should I get, I want them to be ICUE compatible. I have a Gigabyte B450M DS3H mother board and a 5600x. Im playing to upgrade my case to a Corsair 4000D Airflow. What fans should get I. I am including controllers or hubs.
  3. Built my pc at the beginning of 2023 & its been running without issues. Always did iCUE updates, I'm not a gamer, this is a work pc for photo editing, I'm a real estate photographer. PC SPECS: ASUS B660i,i7-12700k, Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 64GB 5200mhz, EVGA GTX 1650 Super, Corsair H100i Elite, SF750, Windows 11 (Home), Keyboard K95 Platinum. I don't have extensive lighting, just 2 fans on the front radiator, ram, pump info (Temp), & keyboard. I don't go for the rainbow color stuff, fans on front radiator are constant light blue & keyboard is solid white, ram is light blue as well. I turned on the pc and before signing in you get the rainbow stuff on fans and keyboard, once signed into Windows 11 it goes to what I programmed into iCUE, light blue fan/ram lights and white keyboard. But this time it didn't, stayed rainbow colors on front fans and random swirling rainbow colors flashing on keyboard. The iCUE icon that was on my taskbar went from the iCUE icon to a white rectangle icon. When I clicked the icon it will not open iCUE, it says can't find iCUE and do I want to 'Browse' . When I go to PC's Apps>Installed Apps, it shows installed but shows nothing about how many MB's or GB's the file is, its blank. When you click on the 3 dots to the right it says Modify or Uninstall, both are greyed out and aren't operable. When I go to Control Panel>All Control Panel Items> Programs and Features it shows all programs on my pc except Corsair or iCUE software. When I go to This PC>Local Disk (C)> Program Files there is a Corsair Folder, I can open it and it shows iCUE5 with associated files. I tried to delete it and a dialog box pops up and says 'Folder In Use" 'The action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program". I went on Corsair's website and downloaded the Trouble Shooter Link, when I choose to Uninstall a program, Corsair/iCUE didn't show up in the dialog box. At this point I downloaded iCUE5 latest version and tried to reinstall, when I go through the steps I get past selecting 'English', click next then it says 'The latest version of iCUE is installed. Under that it gives you 3 options, Open iCUE, Repair App, or Uninstall iCUE. Tried all 3 to no avail. As for other pc monitoring I use After Burner for my GPU fan curve and it monitors CPU & GPU temps and usage on my taskbar so I always have it in sight. It's like iCUE is there but its not letting me in and I can't use it or uninstall it. So I'm stuck with a swirling rainbow flashing color keyboard, rainbow lights on my fans, no cpu monitoring, no controls for my fan curves or any other controls. I am a Prisoner of iCUE! I have the latest Windows 11(Home) ver 22H2 & iCUE5 ver 5.7.106 updates. This issue started before I did the latest Windows 11 update. Hope someone can help me, I'm over iCUE at the moment and want my pc back to normal. All advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and for reading my post.
  4. I recently built a new rig, and an interesting issue has been happening. When I first press the power button to turn it on, it does not boot. The CPU debug light flashes red and the fans start up for a second, and then nothing. A few seconds later, if I press the power button again, the system boots up normally with no issues. I can use the PC normally, play games, etc. At the end of the day, it is more of an annoyance than anything. I wouldn't be too bothered by it, but my Corsair iCUE software keeps disconnecting from my RAM and not letting me control the lights. The only way to fix it is to uninstall/reinstall the software. I've had to do it several times. I get the feeling that this issue might be connected to that one. System specs: Mobo: B650 Aorus Elite AX CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D GPU: Radeon 6800 XT Memory: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 X2 16GB PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750 GS Running Win10 For a little background, this has happened pretty much every time I have tried to boot it. When I first built it, before the bios, this message popped up: "New CPU installed. fTPM NV corrupted or fTPM NV structure changed. Press Y to reset fTPM. If you have Bitlocker or encryption enabled, the system will not boot without a recovery key. Press N to keep previous fTPM record and continue system boot. fTPM will not enable in new CPU, you can swap back to the old CPU to recover TPM related keys and data" I pressed N at first and the boot process continued as normal. But then it kept showing the message every time I booted the system, so I eventually just pressed Y. The system booted as normal and now I have never gotten that message again. Another thing that makes me even more confused is when I shut off the system, then wait only a few seconds after it has fully powered down, then I press the power button, it boots the first try with no issues. This issue only happens when I try powering it on after a few minutes of the system being off. If anyone has any troubleshooting suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it. I haven't tried much yet but I haven't really found a problem on the internet specific to mine.
  5. So i built my pc a few days ago using the asus tuf b550-e wifi motherboard, thermaltake 20mt case with rgb fans and corsair vengance pro rgb ram, i installed the icue for corsair lighting, installed the patch for the lighting for the ram to work with aura sync and it did, the problem being that it doesnt start on startup, i have to open icue, then open aura sync, they link up, close icue and then set up the coloring, and of course it works but is there a way of making it work from the start? maybe deleting icue? idk
  6. I’m lost. for the past few days I’ve troubleshooting none stop. Corsair makes a ticket and doesn’t reply afterwards. long story short: I’ve invested in the new iCue Link ecosystem. I changed all my fans plug everywhere, rewire everything. And it’s beautiful. For about an hour or so. the first time it malfunctioned I power cycled my pc and it worked again. Fans were spinning and rgb was working. Next day I power on my pc and nothing. Fans are not spinning and no rgb expect for the strimers I installed on my gpu and mobo and my ram. I power cycle yet again and my corsair fans are spinning at a fixed slow speed. Whatever I do I’m not able to control my speed and my rgb doesn’t work. I reinstalled iCue software multiple times. Checked everything in my bios. Checked the wiring. I contacted Corsair but they honestly have no idea. They just create a “ticket” looking at the logs in signalRGB I can see the Corsair link controller keeps initializing. But that’s where it stops. I do think my controller is either bricked. Or just downright broken. does anyone have older firmware for the controller since force reinstalling the newest one does not help. am I the only one suffering from these issues? end of story. I invested over 400 euros in new fans to keep my pc silent and cool. But now I can’t even play games cause my pc can’t breathe since the fans barely spin. great product Corsair. And an even better customer service!
  7. I have a long history with computers dating back to when I was 10 years old in the late '90s. My earliest computer-building memory involves assembling a 486 DX-33, which I pieced together from components salvaged from various computers at an auction. I used to have a computer business but stopped doing computers about 15 years ago and due to working away from home only had Laptops since. The most recent computer I remember building was a 'barebones' system in the 2010s, featuring an FX-6100 processor, so fair to say I had doubts I would be able to build a new computer with the changes over the last 15 ytrs. For this build, I had a specific vision in mind — I wanted an all-white setup and planned to incorporate the new Corsair Link components. Since I mainly use my computer to play Fortnite with my 10yr old, I was aiming for a constant 165fps. I soon discovered that all components especially MB and GPU's with white accents were in short supply in Australia, which led to some changes in my parts list and some reflections on the process. Here's a breakdown of the components I used: Case: Corsair X4000D (Initially, I thought it used Link fans, but it turned out it didn't, and I wish I had chosen the Lian-Li 216 for this reason.) CPU: Ryzen 7700X (as there were no 7600X processors in stock) Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A Gaming (a bit overkill, but it was the only non-basic white-accented board available) RAM: Corsair Dominator 32GB 6000 CL36 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060 Aero with a Cooler Master 300mm riser extension (the only other choice for a 3-fan in white under $1000AUD was a Colorful 3060 ) Cooling: Corsair Link 120mm x4 fans and a Link 240mm AIO cooler HDD: WD_BLACK SN770 1TB PSU: Gigabyte 750W with white extensions Now, the negatives and the positives of the build: Negatives: -The Corsair 4000D case doesn't come with Link fans as I initially thought. -When I purchased the 240mm AIO cooler, the 360mm pack, and a single 120mm Link fan, I ended up with an extra controller and was one cable short, having to go back the next day to buy x1 cable -Corsair RAM sucks!, multiple times, ICUE didn't recognize one or all of the modules, (in terms of lighting) - Windows always recognized all. -Initially, I didn't consider using a PCI-E riser, but after a few days and seeing the spot in the case, I bought to a 300mm Cooler Master riser (no white 200mm in my state!). I found that the holes not lining up in the case so I had to create a support for it using foam. Positives: -The computer posted successfully on the first boot -It has an all-white aesthetic. In total, I ended up spending about $300 extra on Link fans and an upgraded motherboard, making the total cost approximately $2500 AUD. The best part was that I didn't encounter any major issues, and the computer posted successfully on the first attempt! **** Pics before and after riser install ****
  8. Hi, I'm a fourteen yo that has just built my first computer and my corsair SP120 RGB Elite fans won't light up, but they do spin. I have downloaded iCue, the drivers for my motherboard and I have all the RGB cables plugged into the RGB controller inside the case. I checked in iCue and everything is up to date. I'm not sure what to do. I need some help please! If you need photos just ask Specs: Motherboard: Rog Strix B550-F Gaming Wifi II Fans: 4x Corsair SP120 RGB Elite fans
  9. This has been an ongoing issue for me this past year. Corsair icue not detecting my Keyboard (K95) and Razer synapse not starting. If I restart icue one or two times it will eventually detect the k95. With Razer synapse it will sometimes never work/start up. Though sometimes if I go into task manager and manually restart/stop/start the service it will kick on finally. I'm slightly suspicious this may be due to me upgrading my OS from windows 10 to 11 in roughtly the same time frame this started happening, but I'm also worried I could have a USB controller issue too (Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite WiFi) Really hoping someone could shed some light on this issue because it has been an absolute nightmare for me.
  10. My system is having several issues making diagnoses very difficult for me. My CPU idles at extremely high temperatures, sometimes thermal throttling on desktop and almost always thermal throttling in games. Trying any extremely heavy CPU load like Cinebench R23 will either cause my PC to BSOD or the application itself will crash. Seemingly at random DX12 games cease to work, and I need to use the DX11 version to play. Also at random some games will notify me that I don't have enough virtual memory to run the application and fail to launch. Additionally my memory out of the box did not work with X.M.P profile 1, but works with profile 2. Combine this was occasional random crashing, BSODs, and hard system shutdowns from a black screen and I'm lost as to the culprit. Lastly, my RGB is now almost completely non-responsive on everything except my RAM. The attached images show some readouts on my system from task manager, HWinfo64, and intelXTU while idling on desktop, and the non-functionality of my RGB. 11. So I've been having a lot of issues with the new kit of RAM I purchased, I've determined one of the sticks is defective, and I'm about to start the RMA process. Recently though, I noticed my RAM was lighting up green and red, when everything is supposed to be blue, and the stick that is lit up red is one of the sticks from the kit I believe is defective. Is this an error code from Corsair to tell me this is the defective module, or is this just iCue being buggy? I tried doing some research on it, but I can't find any information about troubleshooting codes built into Corsair RAM. I still plan on returning the kit, because all signs point to a defective stick, I'm just wondering about the lighting, because the sticks have been in my system for a little over a week, and have been causing problems, but this is the first time I've seen the lighting change.
  12. Hey everyone, I've had the Corsair K70 Pro Mini Wireless for about a month now and I love it, except the advertised 2000hz mode does not work at all. The option to put the keyboard into 2000hz just doesn't appear at all in iCUE whatsoever. When wired though, the 8000hz mode works fine and only then does the 2000hz mode for the dongle appear as an option, although disconnecting the keyboard from USB caps it at 1000hz again. I did contact Corsair support but they weren't very helpful, opting to blame the issue on wireless interference rather than look into it possibly being a firmware or hardware issue. About a week later, ShortCircuit released a video on the K100 Air, which also advertises a 2000hz polling rate over wireless, and I noticed they also had issues getting the 2000hz mode to work. While I also believe this may be something wonky going on with the firmware, considering the keyboard has been out for awhile, I don't have too high hopes. I do have hope now that, since the issue was mentioned in the video, maybe Corsair will take notice. Has anyone else had issues getting the 2000hz mode to work on their K70 Pro Mini Wireless, or any other Corsair keyboard for that matter when using it completely wireless?
  13. As the title says, i want to remove Windows and start using Linux (probably fedora, nobara or mint idk). The thing is, i have a desktop PC with a lot of corsair hardware and these parts use icue for control. my fans are all connected to a commander pro and an rgb controller that came with the fans. (i got 6 QL120 fans, and a H100i RGB platinum that uses 2 of the 6 QL fans mentioned) my fan curves and rgb are all controlled using icue and i am afraid that my fans wont even turn on if i boot linux because of the way things are connected. while i do want the rgb to work, the possibility of my pc booting linux with the fans off, then frying itself since the cooling doesnt work is a much bigger problem lol any advice? what do i need to do? what will happen if i just go for it and boot linux?
  14. Corssair makes some nice stuff, but dont expect to be able to control the RGB. The lastest version of iCue will not open at all. Iv'e tried everything and they don't offer previous versions either. And if you can get it to work (if you didn't update) iCue chews up your memory, best to save settings to hardware and close it, disable auto start up. Also Corsair RGB does not function with any other third party software like many other brands do. Like MSI Mystic Light can run my GSkill RAM and Deepcool AIO on my other PC So now I have this brand new PC with Rainbow RAM, if I knew this I would have got there non- RGB version or a different brand. If anyone has a solution, please advise. Or Im painting the RAM black
  15. Tried posting this on reddits Corsair and help sub, corsair forums and also sent a ticket but didn’t get a reply, hoping for something here. Just moved my computer into a new case, did a fresh format and i am having an issue updating my commander core/icue. Every time I attempt it from a fresh install it gives me an error and won’t let me update. I’ve attempted the following: • Deleted data from appdata, regedit, cccleaner and clean install • unplugged all fans except for the 2 that came with my h100i capellix • uninstalled all rgb software • changed usb 2.0 plugs - Tried both latest and legacy Icue versions At a loss, it was working prior to switching cases but now it no longer updates and I cannot control anything. Some help would be appreciated thanks! tldr; firmware update fail, can’t control aio or fans need help
  16. Ok so what I'd like to do is very simple yet iCue makes it stupid. As of now I have my home keys (insert, home, pageup/dwn,del,end) as my cpu temp "monitor". That is, 55 green, 65 yellow, and 75 red. System is watercooled. None the less, id like to have a little more accurate "readout". Instead I'd like to use my F-keys, or even ESC-BRK as a temperature thermometer of sorts. Say im at 65c on my cpu, id like it to go up to F6, leaving the remaining keys white (who cares). say it goes up to 70c, then it goes to F7, 80, F8 and so on. Whatever I can work out the scale later. Naturally id like a color gradient too, that is 65 being green and progressing to red (and further down the F keys) should my CPU get that hot. Has anybody been able to achieve this? I been googling around and best I found was what i have already done. Nothing along the lines of a "thermometer" of sorts spanning across a dozen keys. Thanks a bunch peeps!
  17. Hey, everyone, can you help me with a problem with my new cooler? I swapped my h100i platinum se for a h150i elite capellix with a commander core included. It's not my first build (I've built a couple of pcs for my friends, both with h100i capellix and commander core) and everything worked properly. However, on my pc, I have this problems: Pump LED doesn't light up Cooler doesn't show up on iCue Every fan is working properly and I can change colors from iCue; also the commander shows up on iCue. I've checked CPU_FAN cable and it's properly connected. I've double checked the commander to see if the 20-something pin cable is properly connected (since you have to force it a bit) and it seems like so. Temps are fine (35 to 40 degrees on a 5900x in idle) and running a 3d mark test didn't make them raise too much (sorry, I don't remember the exact temps, but I expected it to turn off if pump isn't working). So, to me, it seems like pump is working but isn't detected and doesn't light up. I think that it's bricked but I can't update its firmware because it doesn't show on iCue. Only alternative I found is this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjGa1D6Xx7E&ab_channel=QuantumAITech but to do so I need the firmware file (which can be obtained only through iCue). So, if any of you have the same cooler (H150i Elite Capellix) can you please send me the file called like CUE{WEIRDSTUFFHERE}H150{STUFFHERE}.hex that you will find in this folder C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Local\Temp please? Any other suggestion is very appreciated! 18. Hey there! My first time here in a while, but I really need your help or advice. I am planning to upgrade my gear to Ryzen 5900X (which my girlfriend got me as a surprise ). You can see my planned build via the PCPP. Right now I am stuck with the following: CPU: Intel Core i7-7700k CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i MB: ASUS Maximus IX HERO GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 2070 Super 8G RAM: 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB DDR4-3200 SSD: Samsung 960 EVO SSD 250GB NVMe HDD: 2x Seagate FireCude SSHD 2TB PSU: Corsair HX 80+ Platinum 750W Modular ATX Case: Corsair Carbide Series Air 740 Now I am looking for two things, if you would be so kind: 1. Is there a way to use the EK-AIO D-RGB together with iCUE? I know that iCUE does not support A-RGB to date. However, because Aura Sync is supported, I can easily control all devices via iCUE in terms of RGB... except for the planned EKWB radiator block. But since I'm not really a fan of the Corsair Hydro-Series (primarily for aesthetic reasons tbh), I'm in a bit of a quandary right now. If someone could help me, I would be very grateful! 2. Can you give me some general feedback on my build? My goal is to create a healthy mix of gaming and media workstation for my studies and my job. My budget doesn't really matter to me, even though, as you can see, I'm happy to take over old, still good parts (such as the RAM and PSU etc.), because why throw extra money out the window for them again? However, the switch to more cores as well as SSDs only is especially important to me. Regarding the graphics card... Well, let's put it this way: I couldn't wait and decided on the 2070 SUPER just 5 months before the release of the 3000 series. In retrospect, that might not have been a bad idea, because the release was rather meh In the future, I will probably still want to switch to the 3070 or 3080. The old card will then be given to my siblings. They will certainly be happy about it It would still be great if you could take a look at it and present any improvements. I'm really open to anything and if more info is needed, I'll reply as soon as I can! I've already put together a few PCs, but this one I really want to have planned down to the last corner. It's fun somewhere, isn't it? Otherwise, thanks for reading through all this and taking the time. I wish you all the best, stay healthy and get through these very special times
  19. I've been experiencing some really strange lighting issues with my fans lately. Many of my fans don't light up or light up the wrong color. This persists after a restart. Then at some point, one or two green LEDs flash on one of my fans on and off for several minutes and then all LEDs magically start working. I have my fans arranged in a Lian Li O11 Dynamic with 9 LL120 RGB fans (3 fans on top, 3 fans on side, 3 fans on bottom). Here is my arrangement: Commander Pro LED Port 1 --> RGB Hub 1 --> 6 fans (1-3 on top, 4-6 on side) Commander Pro LED Port 2 --> RGB Hub 2 --> 3 fans (7-9 on bottom) Fan 1 partially lights up while fans 2-6 are all dark. Fans 7-9 have no issues. I initially thought it was an issue with RGB Hub 1 so I swapped it out with an extra one, no difference. Then, I swapped the connections so: Commander Pro LED Port 1 --> RGB Hub 2 --> 3 fans (7-9 on bottom) Commander Pro LED Port 2 --> RGB Hub 1 --> 6 fans (1-3 on top, 4-6 on side) This seemed to have fixed my issue so I was going to just ask Corsair for a new Commander Pro, thinking one of the ports was bad or something. But the issue came back with the SAME FANS (1-6). I feel like it's very unlikely 6 of my fans would decide to have issues all at the same time, and since I eliminated several hardware problems, either my Commander Pro is faulty or I'm having software issues. Any help would be appreciated!
  20. Corsair iCue refused to install on my account, even when run as administrator (.msi installer would prompt me is i wanted to let iCue installer make changes, then wouldn't launch) , so i logged into the administrator account (I own my pc, have admin account enabled for debug tools) and it installed just fine, and even opens on the administrator account, but the moment I switch back to my normal account, it won't run. anyone know why? Edit: forgot to add my specs: Core i3 8100 and a gigabyte gtx 1660 super, on a gigabyte b360m ds3h, with 16gb of 2400mhz ram.
  21. Randomly, my keyboard will stop the lighting sequence, ex. Rainbow, type lighting, and will freeze at a certain color. I can fix it by clicking on Corsair's Icue software and it will return to normal. However, in Icue, it says the stored profile does not match the one saved to ICUE and it tells me I need to save the profile. Whenever I do that, it deletes whatever profile I have and I need to remake it.
  22. Hello LTT Community, I am having a weird issue I noticed due to the ongoing x570 USB dropout issue. That upon iCUE reattaching to my headset im losing audio from discord, I still get all the other system audio just nothing from the discord voice channel. If I change voice channels and return to the same one the issue stops and everything works again until the x570 dropout reoccurs . After extensive testing. (Support tickets on going with both Corsair and Discord) The issue seems directly tied to the use of windows 10 pro vs windows 10 home and the new AMD chipset. Between myself and my friend group I was able to perform testing on the issue on a combination of motherboards, processors with both windows 10 pro and windows 10 home. The issue only occurs if Windows 10 Pro is the OS being used and only if its on the new AMD chipsets. The full testing summary and test procedure is listed below. Would anyone have any idea at all what the difference between windows 10 Pro and windows 10 Home could be that would cause this behavior? Due to the x570 issue its getting really annoying. All computers running the latest available versions of windows 10 pro/home respectively with the same version of iCUE and the same discord version. Bios revisions up to date per manufacturer websites. TLDR: Audio dropout upon device reconnection to iCUE in discord only effects computers running on x570 or B550 chips that also have the Windows 10 Pro operating system installed but doesn't occur if using Windows 10 Home. Any ideas as to what could cause this?
  23. I have 4 Corsair Sp120 fans connected via a lightning node pro, a Logitech keyboard and mouse, and Phanteks RGB strips connected to a Gigabyte motherboard (X570 Gaming X) Is there anyway to get the RGB to sync up between them. Currently i've set them to a solid of the same color individually, but i want to use different effects
  24. So my 5000D airflow by Corsair just came in the mail today to replace my 4000D, the reason I wanted to upgrade the case was because my 4000 could only fit a 240mm AIO. Technically it supports a 280 with low profile memory but I don’t have that. I was originally thinking radiator on the front, tubes down, however the hoses on the AIO aren’t long enough and I don’t want the tubes upwards. So now I have to top mount it and use it as exhaust. I have a pack of 3 ml120 pro RGB fans by Corsair (same specs as the ones included with the AIO but lower rpm I think) so now I’m going to use those 3 to populate the front as intake. Now I have 2 leftover non RGB black fans that came with the case and was going to put one of them at the back of the case as an exhaust. That leaves 4 exhaust, 3 intake. Would this cause negative pressure? Should I not even put that fan in the back at all and leave 3 top exhaust and 3 intake? Or should I do something else? Also if I shouldn’t put the fan in the back of the case could I potentially do some sort of push/pull config with my two extra fans? I honestly have no idea what push pull really means I’ve just seen it in videos. My guess of what it means is that the fans on the bottom of the rad are pushing out while the fans on the other side of the rad are pushing in. But I don’t understand the logic of this, wouldn’t they just cancel out? Idk. Also I only have 2 fans left in the event I shouldn’t have one on the back and since it’s a 360mm AIO that means I’ll only be able to cover 2/3 slots for a push pull. Is that enough? Or should I order a third fan for a proper set up?
  25. I recently bought a corsair virtuoso and let me tell you that icue sucks so bad. i knew it sucked before i used it but this is just insulting. The presets suck and sound garbage, the lagg on discord is anoying as hell. i can go on for ages on end but i just wanted a replacement for icue and i dont care about the rgb, thats the only replacement i can find. i just want something for the sound any ideas? Cuz corsair is not going to fix this ive seen posts about this from 2 years ago. F**k you corsair i wasted 200 dollars on this
