I haven't installed the hue+ wrong eather, beacause the LEDs have been working fine for months. Thank you! Edit: I FIXED IT

With a new office renovation in the works I've been pretty sold on the Phillips hue rgb light strips. However, after looking at the price per unit and evaluating what it can actually do I've considered Jerry rigging an NZXT hue+ behind my desk to shine against a wall for more cancerous rgb action. My question is: If i get a hue+ in my main PC and a second hue+ under my desk, Can i control them independently? (I already have a Phillips hue bridge/hub thingy) Phillips hue: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Lightstrip-Generation-Works-Amazon/dp/B014H2OXYU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489303481&sr=8-1&keywords=Phillips+hue+light+strip NZXT hue+: https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-AC-HUEPS-M1-Hue-Advanced-Lighting/dp/B018YZ0H1O/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1489303522&sr=1-1&keywords=nzxt+hue%2B

As you can see, currently I'm using the Phanteks LED strips with my Evolv TG. However, I really hate them lol. The white on them is so blue!!! I mean, it's barely less blue than the light blue setting. I ask anyone who comes over to my place what colour the lights look and they all say "light blue". Also, there are only 10 colours. I'm not much for the super gaudy, gamer-styled, colourful PCs, I just want the lights to be white... I mean, I'm looking at RGB lights instead of just plain white light strips because I'd like the option to be able to change it in the future or whenever I'm in the mood if I desire to. Also, most of the larger companies that I am familiar with, don't have kits for just plain white. Or at least they don't as far as I know of... I may be just ill-informed on that though so don't quote me on that. If you know of any white led kits let me know! But anyways, back to the questions; basically, I'm wondering if the Hue+ will be any better with the white than the Phanteks LED strips? I figured I'd go with NZXTs Hue+ and Aer fans because I'm using a Kraken X62 and have to use CAM software anyways. So I figured I might as well have all the lighting settings in one place. Also for the Kraken, there are tons of different lighting modes and basically limitless colours to chose from. The 10 colours and 3 or 4 modes the Phanteks strips have are nothing compared to the options there are in the CAM lighting software. I also chose the Aer fans because I wanted to upgrade my plain white led ones from Corsair, and when I looked into Corsair's offerings with their RGB HD120mm fans, I didn't really like the way they looked because they were way too bright and I don't want the fans to be the center piece of the build... Also for some strange reason, Corsair doesn't offer a 140mm variant. Only drawback to the NZXT Hue+ and Aer fans is that the Hue+ is connected by a molex... gross! Anyways to summarize, I'm just looking for some people's experiences with the NZXT Hue+ and Aer fans; I'm wondering if the whites on them are better than what I'm used to? And if there are better options out there let me know, I can always put the Hue+ and Aer fans into my spare pc which is turning into my partner's pc. Any recomendations and/or feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks Guys/Gals! ♥ P.S. The lights in the photo look more white than they do in person.. In person you can see the major difference between the White Corsair fans and the LED strips around the case.

So I bought my Hue+ a while back with 2 140mm AER fans from NZXT and I was super excited to put them in long story short nothing will light up and I have contacted NZXT about it thinking it was the fans that were the problem. I got replacement fans those didn't work either but I also bought some light strips well those don't work either so I was sure it had to be the Hue+ itself so I contacted NZXT again and got a replacement for my Hue+ that I presumed defective and the only thing that lights up is one light on one of the four led strips. I have tried everything unplugging them and rearranging them which I also tried with the fans I have tried just plugging one in and seeing if it worked which it didn't uninstalled and reinstalled CAM at least five times and I have also tried installing later versions of it which didn't work either. I am out of ideas that would maybe somehow get the fans or the light strips to work. Someone please help me.

I recently installed my hue+, AER rgb fans and strips. I have 5 Rgb fans and 4 strips. I also bought the grid v2 fan controller. The rear fan wont light up when CAM launches. It only lights up on certain profiles like Fixed or candle light. CAM doesnt even reconize the fifth fan. I also notice when i turn on profiles like Marquee the fifth fan struggles to work with the other fans which leads me to believe its not getting enough power. Ive tried everything i can think of but no luck. I have an 850 watt Psu btw

So ive had a NZXT Hue 2+ for less than 6 months, and it was wonderful! It added all the extra pop a PC needs in a case with tempered glass side panels. But.... around a month and a half ago, my entire Hue+ system started to break. So right now, i have 3 lighting strips that light up although not in the correct colors, and one led strip that has completely stopped functioning. i've tried changing Hue+ inputs, and cables, reinstalling the software and tried even tried multiple software versions, but nothing. So exactly one month ago I sent the customer service an email, explaining my situation and even sent picture proof, but no response, it has been a full month with no response... still waiting. Has anyone else had a similar problem? or actually received a reply from their customer service? help!

Hi. I'm having two problems I cannot seem to troubleshoot: NZXT Hue+'s light strips will not light up but built-in light on the NZXT Hue+ will light up (and won't turn off!) PWM Fans cannot be configured for their speed, the only way to configure their speed is if I overclock my 6850K to 4.2GHz. This makes the fans run faster. What the heck?

this is about HUE+ from NZXT nothing to do with intel or AMD lol so i got the hue+ almost a month ago and CAM worked fine for almost 2 weeks but it stopped working and i have been through the loops with CAM customer service and it feels like we are going in a circle and it hasn't worked since i paid wayyyy too much for (always blue unless cam is uninstalled then it is white) LEDS. not im not asking for help i am just courious if other have been having this issue in the past few weeks....

Heya folks, I'm planning (not in the near future) to upgrade my pc, but I have some questions about compatibility. First of all this is my build ( https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7zsDFd), yes I use the stock cooler. At first the colorscheme didn't really matter to me, but now I've come to the conclusion I want something else, white&black style, with rgb LED's I saw the NZXT HUE+ and the Kraken x52/62 and I really like the looks of those products, The thing is, I have no idea if my mobo is compatible with those usb connectors that the hue+ and kraken require. I'm also looking for a new case, I've been thinking about the NZXT s340, h440 (new edition, the corsair carbide 600t) and the manta, all in the white edition. SLI is not an option by the way Could you help me figuring this out? Budget: Case: €130 maximum mobo ( only if necessary): €130

Hello. So i got myself a NZXT Hue + yesterday and installed it right away with the software and started playing around with it. Now today after work i came home and wanted to change some LEDs when the CAM software wanted to update witch i did. But now i cant change the LED, there is just no APPLY or SAVE CHANGES button. Am i stupid or did they just forget it or do you save it in a diffrent way now? Thanks for the Help

So is it just me or does every CAM update seem to just mess up one more thing. over the past few updates iv'e had a LOT of trouble having cam register my Kraken x62 and now that i got a hue+ things aren't getting any better. i had to unplug my USB header from the mobo to get it to register and even still, every now and again CAM still needs a re-install to get it to work. Sometimes when CAM turns on it says my CPU is at 0'C all the time (wish that were true) and sometimes it says that my GPU is N/A. Now that I have the HUE+ sync settings don't even work for me, only the Kraken actually changes the effects to the sync option. The point of this thread is to hopefully see how many other people are having the same issue as me as even though I love NZXT products, the software that you are required to use is frankly and unfortunately broken.

So basically, could I connect two Hue+'s to my system and have it work with its Cam software? I want to have two, because one Hue+ will only work with a maximum of 8 RGB lighting stripe. In my case 8 stripes won't be enough. So my question comes back to will two Hue+'s work with the Cam software, alongside syncing the RGB lighting for both Hue+'s?

My Gigabyte Aorus K7 motherboard only has one RGB header. ...and I bought two. I know you can somehow connect them to the hub if you buy some third party multi-hub connector or something. Where do I purchase that? I really need to be pointed in the right direction.

I am getting a Phanteks P400S TGE and I cant decide if I want Corsair RGB Fans or NZXT RGB Fans with HUE+ All help and answers are appreciated

I recently got cooler master's masterbox lite 5 RGB case. My current motherboard (gigabyte h97m-d3h) doesn't support RGB. The product page says the RGB lighting can be controlled from additional controller. I am considering cooler master's own RGB controller but am also looking at nzxt hue+ since it comes with 4 led strips as well. My assumption is that the case has masterfan pro 120 fans. Can I connect the case fans to hue+ and control them through CAM software? Any help is much appreciated.

So i just built my pc and im running into some problems with my AER RGB hue+ I have the hue+ FANS THEY SPIN AND EVERYTHING BUT THE LEDS DONT WORK (SORRY FOR CAPS) ---------- They are being picked up on the CAM software but i cant do anything to them bonus question its unrelated though : vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv in games this fps counter pops up all the time and its annoying anyone know how to get rid of it? i wanted to know if there was a fix to the nzxt hue+ after being plugged into a strix motherboard. i wanted to see if the hue+ could be controlled with asus aura sync. when i plugged it back into the hue+ connector, only 1 led worked (color green). its very dissapointing to see that something like that broke a strip.

Hello guys, I was shopping for a Hue+ today and I saw as descrpition that it come with 500mm, 300mm and 100mm extension cables. I suppose that these are the power cable for the actual Hue controller right? I was wondering if you have to purchase the led strips separate or do they come with the Hue+ box and if they do, in what lengths? Also, Merry xmas to you all

Hi, I'm new to PC building and after building my first PC, I ran into a lot of problems that I can't seem to troubleshoot myself - so I've turned to you guys! I have multiple problems sorted in order from greatest to least: My graphics card will not connect to my monitor via DisplayPort, but it works perfectly with HDMI My BIOS is reading my CPU voltage at 1.776 and my RAM clock speed at 2133MHz (it's clocked at 3466MHz) NZXT Hue+'s LED strips do not turn on and NZXT Hue+ module light does not turn off unless the entire system is unplugged from the wall (turning the system off and turning power supply off doesn't work) Things you should note: While working on the fan controller, I had a problem with static electricity that may or may not have hit the motherboard (which at the time had CPU and RAM both installed). All of my fans work I do not have my SSD yet, Samsung's shipping where I live is apparently incredibly notorious I have not booted into Windows 10 yet, I'm concerned about all of these problems because I'm wondering if I can fix them even before I boot into Windows Knowing this, you know that I do not have any drivers (such as the NVIDIA GeForce drivers, but I don't think you need NVIDIA GeForce drivers just to connect to your monitor from your graphics card via DisplayPort, or do you?) or anything like that I'm inexperienced in the field of technology - so please be patient with me! I'm sorry I am pretty sure both the RAM and CPU are compatible with the motherboard Build: CPU: Intel Core i7-6850K RAM/Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4-3466 (4 x 8GB) Motherboard: ASRock X99 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming i7 GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming Z Monitor: Acer Predator X34 Thank you - I hope you guys are able to help me!

Hi All, First time poster here. I want to upgrade the airflow of my PC Case, and was looking at buying the following case fans: Riing 12 LED RGB Radiator Fan Sync Edition https://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00003230 The problem I'm having is I want to be able to control the RGB lighting of the fans, but I have no RGB Header on my Motherboard (Z87 Sabertooth - https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_Z87/specifications/). I've read on forums that people can bypass controlling RGB Fans via RGB Header by using a NZXT Hue+ https://www.nzxt.com/products/hue-plus Now my question is, would I be able to control the RGB of the Thermaltake fans using the NZXT Hue+ and how would I be able to connect 6 Fans using the least amount of ports on the NZXT HuePlus?

I just got my new H200I and realized in the cam software some pretty cool sounding effects are not available. I soon found out that there is something called the HUE+, but Do I need it to enable these other lighting profiles.

Hi everyone, I'm slowly but surely completing parts for my first build but I have some questions regarding connecting fans. My mobo has 3 headers labelled: CPU, W_PUMP, SYS. My case is nzxt h200 (no smart device) with 2 stock fans, my questions: 1. Where do I connect AIO fans ? Where do I connect case fans? Does it even matter which fan header I'll plug them to? (I have some Y splitters) 2. I'm planning to get hue+ with 1 aer rgb fan and rgb strips some time in the future. Can I chain rgb aer fan with stock one and connect them to hue+ ? Can you connect non aer rgb fans to hue+ ?

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CmY8ZR Is there a better way to improve performance for the money? Also does anyone know how to fix the issues that are under the link, or will they likely not affect the build? Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!!!
