Chat with RTX Now Free to Download | NVIDIA Blog So far, its been mostly right. I've been able to get it to give me some wrong information and information that conflicted with previous responses. The datasets that it comes with are limited, but the 'default' option at least can scour the internet. I imagine more robust datasets will come out in the future, but so far, its quite promising. With my RTX 4090, I'll see it cause a jump in GPU utilization anywhere from 50-100%, which didn't impact gaming performance in a DLSS enabled game, Warframe, while also still being instant in its response. Outside of the installation process, CPU+RAM don't seem to matter. The installation process took a solid hour with regular 100% CPU and RAM utilization. Anyone else playing with it, and with what hardware?

I was playing Lethal Company with one friend and the non host would often disconnect. This error happened less when I was hosting. Is this more likely to be a problem with my internet or their pc? (assume my internet is equally as bad as their pc)

Hi. Firstly, sorry if the title was vague, but I don't know how to properly word it. I have a website (which is actually part of it, a forum) that I downloaded in October 2013. I want to make it available online. The forum was entirely downloaded using HTTrack Website Copier. If I click on "index.html", I can browse through like it were the real thing, while still online. I want to make it available online, but without paying any hosting, since I don't expect many visits anyway. Also, I have a computer which is running 24/7. Even installed a 80 Plus Gold PSU on it. Although I don't pay for any hosting service, I do have a domain (razzee.site). The domain itself is forwarding to a website I have hosted through BRLOGIC. In this case, would I need a different domain? Can someone please point out the easiest way to do it? If needed, I can share the website itself (through a private message), if it makes anything easier to explain.

Hello, i am planning on building a really cheap server system to allocate videogames servers and be able to play with friends around Europe. This is what i have built but i am not sure if it is enough or is it just fine, the idea is to host games as Minecraft, Valheim, may be Ark and a few other titles https://es.pcpartpicker.com/user/AnthonyRufus/saved/kcq9K8 Thanks!

So, to start off I could think of one difference at least in reliability. Say if your ISP was to have drops in service and speed, that would be a factor you can’t control. I can also see the difference in say if you were to have raid setup so that a machine could fail responsibly, whereas a DIY machine likely wouldn’t unless you had the know how. Then onto power consumption of whether or not you are running actual server hardware or just consumer grade and their power consumption differences. Beyond the actual differences in hardware, what are the differences in software and OS? And example being say if I was to host Minecraft server while running Windows OS, versus hosting a Minecraft server and running a Linux distro, and any other route you could take, etc. Long-term, finding the most efficient way to use your resources for the actual task at hand. Are there fundamental reasons that you should avoid hosting yourself and to choose a host instead? Things people would maybe just not be knowledgable enough to understand or even know existed. I’m very open to discussion.

hello everyone, i hope you are doing great I'm looking forward to start a gaming community of my own, fps games mostly. i want to host servers in old cod games, cs and maybe something else. To do all that i need to rent a sever, but i want a trial to see how things are going before i put my money on it. I did manage to get one server on GCP but only lasting for 5 hours or so. I cant start the trial on my own cos I'm not 18 yet (17) and cant open my own bank account, the credit cards of my parents wont get accepted by google or any other site, they are prepaid cards. I do understand what i'm asking for is quite a big favor and mostly not possible but i have nothing else left to try. have a good day everyone and :)

I have been developing an app on my OSX Sierra Guest (Windows 10 Host) and after updating VMWare Workstation, I get that first image during the VMWare boot screen, and that second image (Kernel Panic) during the apple logo boot screen. For some reason, recovery mode isn't working (I am holding Windows+R while it boots, right?).

Hello! I've used free bots until now, but they often lack a specific function, or are just plain unreliable and bad. How would I be able to host a premade bot (so I wouldn't have to code my own) and just host it directly on my own pc whenever I need it? Certainly it should be easy to just get a bot and host it yourself, or not. I couldn't find any tutorials for this, that is why I'm here. Any help is highly appreciated! -Crafting

So I've been using 000webhost.com to host an FTP server for my Visual Studio program, it has been working, but just recently I've been having problems with it and it seems that the free domains have been having issues that are being worked on, but I need a working FTP server without using my router for my program ASAP and for free. Anyone know a good free site I can use so I can upload a small zip file that can be downloaded by my program?

I am trying to get a CentOS kvm and Ubuntu (host) to recognize each other over the network. I've been searching for about two weeks now and found no solution to my issue: The guest can ping the host, but the host can't ping the guest.

My computer was getting a bit loud so i check the task manager and see that service host: local system has high cpu usage (well not high but 30% which is a lot more than other things) and upon further investigation i found that windows update is causing this. I have ran malware bytes and it found nothing. If i go to windows update it says my device is up to date If i try to stop windows update in services it says: Windows could not stop the Windows Update service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. Should i try out a different virus scan? Or any other recommendations

I don't know why this happened but I changed it back with my backup of my hosts file. I am doing the usual scans but If anyone else has this happen to them comment below.

Hi! I'm new here but I was just wondering if I could get some help. I recently got some help on an audio issue with some customer support. She called my computer a, "host device" which I didn't understand. Basically, what exactly is a host device? I'm just curious because I'd like to use the term if it's easier to understand in some situations as well as just to learn something.

I want to host a Dedi at some point in the future. Until then I'll use remote hosting. What games do you guys recommend I host? I've hosted and played Minecraft before but I don't really know MySQL so complicated MMOs like a Private WoW Server etc is a bit much. I do remember when CS Portable was around on a Unity platform. If I were able to then I would ruin a server of that. Doesn't necessarily have to be a completely relevant game type. I like FPS games, Adventure games, RPGs and Building games like Minecraft. TL;DR What games can you suggest for me to host that are worth while and/or good to learn the trade?

Hope this doesn't strike any nerves; it's my first post here and have been thinking about it since February. In regards to the YouTube drama Linus referred to in his "Addressing the drama" could LMG host their own video platform like YT, Vimeo, etc. and use it as a viable alternative and bring in income? They already advertise (have sponsors) embedded within each video that brings in cash, and the videos are monetized. My guess is it could take a long time break even with initial investments, but surely, after some users upload their own content, and time, it would happen. Thanks in advance and hope this doesn't break any rules.

Hello, i'm trying to host a RlCraft Modded Server on minecraft for me and my cousin. I have downloaded everything and have successfully launched/played the server by myself, but with great lag. I go to by .bat file and try to edit the -xmx and -xms values to all kinds of ammounts ranging from 1024M to 8024M... none work. The last one i ran was (@ECHO OFF java -Xms2024M -Xmx2024M -jar server.jar nogui pause), but when i return to launch my server it says "Error occurred during initialization of VM - Could not reserve enough space for 2072576KB object heap - Press any key to continue . . ." the server will only run with 1024M in the values, anything else it crashes or will give me another random error code. I use an alienware 17 R5 with 16gb of ram... any help with be appreciated! below i have attached my start.bat file for review start.bat

Hello! My name is iMonstaa - and I'm new around here lol So, basically, my question is: How can I run a 24/7 server (for a website, a discord bot, as a home storage system and a Minecraft server) for cheap (low power consumption also)? I was thinking of getting a few Raspberry Pi's and making a Pi Cluster, but I think it would be better if I got one of those cheaper dual CPU motherboards on AliExpress, 24gb of DDR3 ram, 2x 6-core Xeons, a 600w PSU, 2x 2tb HDDs and a budget GPU. So, may I get your thoughts on which idea is better? ?

Hello everyone, I'm hoping you have a great day! So I want to start my own computer repair and assembly service. I'm currently advertising via Ebay and other kind of second hand sites. But I want to host my own website, I already have a server and everything is set up, I can now host files, but most importantly: HTML websites. But since my HTML programming skills aren't great I'm looking for a service/program/website where I can visually see and change an HTML file that I can host. I don't mind paying for it as long as it's not too expensive and I rather don't have a subscription. So these are some of the requirements: I'm looking for a program whith wich I can edit HTML files Even a noob like me can learn how to use it It doesn't need a subscription I can host the HTML on my own server A shop or a chat or a contact form would be very nice, but it's not a requirement Does anyone have any suggestions? If so, please post them below.

Hi all, I'm planning to move my windows server at my workplace to a virtual machine. I was experiencing with ubuntu 18.04 LTS and kvm/qemu but find the performance very low. What would be the best host OS for a windows server VM. Here are the specs of the machine MB: Asus Prime Z390-A CPU: Intel i7-9700K RAM: 64GB (4 X 16GB) DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2666 MHz Boot Disk: 1TB Barracuda SATAIII SSD Storage drives: 2 X 6TB (RAID 1) Seagate EXOS SATAIII HDD on a PCIe RAID card from Vantec (UGT-ST644R) (I know, not the best at all, but real RAID card bring the cost up A LOT) What would be your recommendations on host OS, configuration tips and things to be aware of. Thanks!!

Hi, I'm looking for help setting up a MC server using Torguard. I live on a university campus and the network does not allow for my server to be visible (expected). I bought Torguard in hopes of being able to host my server that I was using over the summer (and not pay as much for AirVPN, but it already looks like I'll have to cancel Torguard and go for AirVPN), but any attempts I've made so far have been futile. I didn't buy a dedicated IP (didn't think I would need it). I don't have much knowledge on VPNs (in fact, let's just consider it nothing since I only know to change the VPN server to play anime games on Japanese servers) and I need some help. Might sound silly to have spent money on a VPN just for MC but I was going to get one that was better than a free one eventually since I also have a dedicated server machine so I assure you I am using it for other more useful things (like (attempting to) build backend stuff as a practice project since I'm a CS major). Going back to MC just seemed better that playing League in season 8 so it just kinda happened between me and my roommate

I am relatively new to Ubuntu, and I don't know if this is just the way it is, or if I am doing something wrong, but when I give the appimage permission to run for the installation of Repetier-Host, it just opens the program, and doesn't seem to actually install it. How do I use the appimage to install the program to the computer (download the files to the system and create an icon in the app launcher)?

Hello, I am going to start using Nextcloud and I want to be able to access it anywhere in the world. However I have heard that port forwarding is dangerous if I don't set up a firewall and as my family members do not understand this they would not allow me to port forward. Is there anyway I can host through a VPN so I get the IP of the VPN connection, or are there any special services like that?
