Hello Fellow AMD users, I have the following CPU: 7700X MOBO: Gigabyte b650i aourus RAM: Gskill 32 gigs of ram running at 6000 mhz expo1 GPU:6950 xt PSU: 850 watt CASE: corsair 2000d case AiO: arctic liquid freezer 360 AIO Bios F21 win 11 updated to latest available At the time of writing its 11 pm. The whole morning it ran 95 degree hot while I was playing Witcher 1. At 10 pm I ran benchmarks with cinebench R23 with the side panel open and AIO out and everything closed together. The score is exactly the Same 1982 with max temp at 65 degree C. This temperature spike is not consistent. At startup it runs 95 degree C and after I open witcher it either goes down to 40 degree or it doesn't. 1 restart later fixes the issue sometimes. I can't pinpoint why this is happening and I need help. I ran Corsair icue and temp jumped to 105 C and turned off itself. After I restarted, it was running at 45c. My room temperature is 20 degree C. bios is F21 and I haven't touched any bios settings. Fan curve is set to silent. Everything is updated and this is a New PC. I built it during black friday last year.

Hello. Since mid September I would say, the fans on my GPU are not spinning anymore. I alreay checked for Adrenalin "Zero RPM" feature, but it's disabled. If I try to change the curve and apply change, it is just doing nothing. The only time they spin is when my card reach 110 Celsius degrees, then I got a black screen, and they are spinning at full speed. I have to shut down my computer. Everything is stock and was never OC. My specs are : GPU : XFX SWFT RX 6800 XT CPU : Intel i5 - 13600k RAM : 32Go (4x8) Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200MHz MoBo : GIGABYTE MB GBT Intel 1700 B760M DS3H AX DDR4 (Latest BIOS F15) Storage : Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 250GB + Crucial CT1000P1SSD8 1To PSU : Corsair RM650x

Hi, i have just be given from a friend a Coolermaster Masterliquid 240 V2 and decided to install to my pc. I followed all the instructions and when i first boot up the temperature at idle are 75 minimum! I checked everything around thermal paste and cpu block touching, but everything seems ok. I connected the 3pin to CPU_FAN header and the 2 fans of the radiator to SYS_FAN with no result. I also did the opposite with no result. Both times set them to full speed from BIOS. CPU: i5 4670 Motherboard: Gigabyte B85 HD3 Thanks

Hi LTT Community, I updated my rig with a Core i9 12900K and it's reaching really high temperatures under load (100C). I know 12th Gen Intel CPUs are known to be toasty but I'm not sure if 100C under load is normal? Under normal use (Multiple tabs in Opera, Edge, Plex, Word, Photoshop, Illustrator) it stays well within 32-50C but playing demanding games (Hogwarts Legacy, Last of Us, Plague Tale: Requiem) or rending anything on Premiere pushes it to 100C (It also reaches 100C under stress tests like Cinebench). It doesn't go above 100C and the cooler tries to bring it down to 90C but struggles. Is this safe? Do I need to change any settings or is 100C fine for this chip? All temperature were monitored on HWMonitor. My specifications (custom build): Asus Prime Z690 Motherboard Intel Core i9 12900K darkFlash Twister DX360 360mm AIO 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz Crucial Ballistix RAM (8GBx4) Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 TI (MSI Ventus x3) Windows 11 22H2 on Samsung 990 Pro NZXT C850 80+ Gold Power Supply NZXT H710i Case All the extra fans the case comes with (Three on top, and one exhaust at the back, plus AIO + fans in the front) in performance mode in NZXT CAM The system is stable even at 100C. I haven't seen any game crashes or even shut downs, I'm just a bit worried about the temps reaching 100C and if there is something I've missed in the configuration that's causing such high temps. I also understand CPUs don't really toast themselves so easily and thermal throttle when temperatures reach so high, but I'm worried about the motherboard and other components that might suffer because of the high heat and if there is anything, apart from replacing my AIO (which I don't really have the finances for) that can bring the temps down. I also want to know if I'm just getting anxious and a 100C peak is normal for the 12900K? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi all, I have a puzzling situation. My gaming PC that I built is crashing when I'm playing games and when I close out of games. The crashes come in the form of BSoDs. The most recent stop codes I've been seeing are "MEMORY MANAGEMENT" and "irql_not_less_or_equal" with the ntoskrnl.exe failing. I will note that the crashes only occur when the system is under load (playing a game). I ALSO noticed that my CPU temps under load get EXTREMELY hot, as in mid-90s hot (using the stock CPU cooler), so I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it. Here comes the weird part... After the PC attempts to restart, it fails the reboot because of an error screen that reads "Over Current Has Been Detected On Your USB Device!! System will shutdown after 15 seconds to protect your mainboard!!" It will persist after multiple attempts to restart, but after 5-10 minutes of being turned off, I'm able to turn my PC back on. My Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x (no OC) GPU: EVGA RTX 2070 XC (no OC, latest drivers) RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR4 @ 3000 MHz (no OC or XMP Profiles that I know of) Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI (I suspect this could be the culprit, as I purchased it as an open-box unit from Microcenter back in 2020, and I remember having to manually bend a pin on the USB 3.0 header on the board) PSU: Corsair RM1000x 80+ Gold (purchased at the end of 2018) To add more context: Other odd happenings are that my PC rarely just randomly restarts while using it. The restarts don't happen too often, but there have been multiple instances where I'd walk away from my PC and come back to find it restarted and everything I had open was closed. I think I ran a memtest a few months ago that stated hardware problems were detected. I would immediately think my RAM is the culprit, but why would that cause the USB Current Overflow? So bottom line is that I suspect it's my motherboard and possibly my RAM, but before I spend any money, I would really like to make sure I replace the correct parts. I do want to upgrade, but I need to know where to start. If anyone needs more info/context, please feel free to ask. If someone could please point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey, For some reason 3/4 times when I turn on my PC, the TEMPS would avg ~95 and fans will be BLASTING to 100% while I know this isn't the case. After 5-10 minutes the the temps would go down, so will the fan speed, (I am currently writing this with 95C and 100% FANS, YAY) After a few minutes: Specs: MB: Z490 Gaming X Cooling: ML 360R RGB Coolermaster CPU: 10700K Stock currently due to this silly issue. GPU: RTX 3080 Gigabyte Eagle Bios: F6d (Not latest, but I don't have UPS to update Bios, only risked once after buying it) I've also noticed, as soon as I enter Bios, the speeds and temp would go back to normal, I leave it, BOOM back to 95C for a bit. The system is newly build, as I mentioned, it doesn't always happen but 3 out of 4 times I would get 100% fan speed and 95C while I am 200% sure it's falsely reporting because stress testing the CPU only reaches 64C MAX under full load. If you need anything, please subscribe to this thread and ask questions, I am more than willing to give any information to fix this issue.

Hello guys, I'm not much of a gamer but while I was playing BF2042 since it was beta, I noticed that the CPU has always +80% usage while GPU is ~10% max. here is a screenshot for you. https://imgur.com/0LN12Hy My integrated GPU works more than the actual GPU. I tried following some tutorials video and like this one:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B8mFY-Ud0Y I set BF2042 with my GPU as preferred and did some other minor tweaks in the NVidia control panel but nothing seems to work. I have to say that my FPS are decent: ~60 FPS if not over. But the point is that the CPU goes over the recommended temperature and I'm quite worried in the long term performance. I tried disabling the integrated GPU in BIOS but I can't do that since there are no such options, so I did the most idiot thing... I tried disabling it by device manager but it doesn't seem to bother my GPU. Is it angry at something? Why is it always sulking like this? What have I done to you? oh dear GTX 1660 TI

I've recently just bought the Corsair 5000x case for my main PC and seem to be having issues with the whole commander core. I think the commander core is defective but I'm not 100% sure. I bought the iCUE H150i Elite Capellix and have installed it along with the commander core that it comes with rather than use the RGB core from the case cause of the pump connection. I've got the three front fan cases hooked up to the PWM fan repeater as well as the commander core for the RGB and they do light up red. I have the three RGB fans on the radiator hooked up to the commander core for fan control as well as RGB control (however they don't light up) and have the AIO connected to the commander core too. When it comes to the AIO the pump lights up and I can hear the pump going but the fans just don't light up and the AIO along with the commander core are not showing up in iCUE. I've switched the USB port on the motherboard and still same issue, I know that both USB ports work as they work with my corsair PSU. I've also reinstalled iCUE to the latest version but it makes no difference. I've never really come across this prolbem and i find it quite unusual. Any methods to try and resolve this or any info would be greatly aprreicated. Also I am in contact with Corsair I've just posted on here just in case I've missed something that you guys suggest in which I can sort out quicker than their response. Summary: AIO and Commander core not showing in iCUE All three fans on AIO do not light up but do spin and front three fans light up Overall not sure if the commander core is the issue or the actual AIO

my pc fell over while standing up and the fans are fluctuating (something they have never done before) and the cpu temp is high there is also a scraping noise that im pretty sure is coming from the watercooler (from the tiny research i have done it seems to be bubbles in the pump) any ideas what might have happened? the 3rd picture has load on top and clock speed on the bottom

As stated in the title, my CPU will reach high temperatures, 80-95°C. Both CAM and Windows warn me of this. Though after rebooting the computer once or twice, the CPU temp will remain at a nice 36°C. Games, any software etc. are not the cause of the high temps. I'll only be on YouTube or be idling on the home screen, and my CPU will still freak out. I've had the thermal paste replaced, cleaned the fans and cooler, readjusted parts and wires, I'm not sure what else to do. I don't see anything physically wrong. I have also updated Bios to the latest format. My only thought is maybe I need to replace the cooler? Either that or it's a motherboard issue. Please keep in mind I am not super familiar with PCs and the like, so try to be a bit more specific and avoid abbreviations and shortened terms. Thank you in advance. hp pavilion 15 HP Pavilion 15 Gaming Freezes while Gaming
awkwardnerd posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Hi, I have HP Pavilion 15 Gaming (DK0056wm) i5-9300H + GTX 1650MQ + 16gb ram. My laptop heats up while gaming up to 98C before undervolting and freezes after hardly 5 mins. After undervolting this temps were remain under 75C for a while (a few weeks, no freezing) but then went above 80 and starts freezing again in GTA Online. I stopped playing games for about a month. I downloaded FrostPunk from epic games and after hardly 2 min, the temp went to 83 with undervolting which is normal considering the hotter climate, and froze literally within 2-3 mins while temps were still under 85C for CPU and under 70C for GPU. This machine even freezes in PUBG Lite, League of Legends when temps are under 90 mostly on loading screen after match ends. There is no HP support in the country (Pakistan). Warranty is until 20 December 2021. Should I claim the warranty? It also have a screenburn problem. -
so basically i have this pc i built my self, Ryzen 7 3700x and a asrock challenger Rx 5700xt, when I play games like cyberpunk right now and war Thunder i get a high fps but it's so freaking choppy when I play(nvm I fixed it i had to turn on Vysnc), i have 144hz freesync monitors, i also have 32 gb 3200 mhz ram with a super good psu and airflow in my case, it's also all dust free(i clean it a lot) but the main reason I need help is why my temps reach 102 degrees Celsius and chill there forever, it scares me bro and I have my gpu fans on 100, its loud and still getting hot, and supposedly the max gpu temp is 80 c while I reach 100 c,

Hi, so I recently bought NH-D15 Chromax Black as a temporal replacement for faulty H115i Pro RGB and I expected little to no difference. I was so wrong. CPU is idling at 70C and under load it goes up to 96C. I have already tried to reaply thermal paste 2 times and it didnt help much. Is there something I can do to fix it? Hi! I built my custom loop about half a year ago. About a month ago, I noticed my tubes looking kind of cloudy, but temps were fine. (Tube clouding can be seen in the picture, second loop was done the same day and is still clear) Yesterday, I discovered weird bubbles in my waterblock, and higher temps as usual (60C instead of 40C running a Benchmark for 45 mins). However, after running the benchmark, the bubbles fade (look at the video attached, it's a time lapse of 45 mins during the benchmark). I already ordered new liquid to rinse the loop, and will probably exchange the tubing, but I'm helpless in what's exactly causing this. I need help! my little brother was asking for a gaming pc and i had an old fm2 motherboard from my previous computer. we were thinking of getting him a ryzen cpu but i suggested to settle for the old fm2 motherboard for now considering the only game he plays is roblox and minecraft. so using my fm2 board i paired it with an A8-7680 I got for $20 online which he's using as a placeholder for a ryzen cpu with a GTX 1650 (the gpu is a bit overkill for this apu but i bought it because he's getting a ryzen cpu in the future as i mentioned before, and yes i could have gotten an rx 570 but that's more expensive in my area). Minecraft and roblox are running fine but my only concern are the horrible temperatures. The cpu is cooled with an aftermarket cooler, an arctic mx-4, and four 120mm case fans ALL RUNNING AT MAXIMUM SPEEDS 24/7 with the most optimal airflow. And yet, the cpu is running at 60c when surfing the internet, 70c while watching a 1080p 60fps youtube video, and 80c while gaming. This is really bothering me. I have re-applied the paste several times using different application methods each time until I ran out and still it's running at those same temperatures. Is this normal for the A8-7680 apu? Is it because of this cheapo cooler I bought for $10? I've also noticed that it's not even hitting its advertised "3.8ghz boost", it gets stuck at 3.680ghz-3.7ghz. I built a new system yesterday, but for some reason i can't figure out why my cpu core temps so high on full load My case is Lian Li Lancool II and cooler is Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 Illusion ARGB Liquid CPU Cooler i7-13700k 3080ti 32gb 6000 ddr5 i have drawn the fan flow vectors in the picture, and the temps while running cinebench r23 multi core benchmark i have used proper thermal compound and generally did as instructions suggested , i reapplied thermal paste twice to check if it was problematic ( i have some experience building and tweaking with pcs) any advice will be much appreciated

I have an MSI GP75 Leopard SFK-219 with an i7-10750H and RTX 2070. I am having issues with being able to adjust fan speeds. It's either stuck at idle speed (3000 rpm) or I can press the fan turbo button next to the keyboard and it goes up to 6400 rpm. No matter what settings I change or what fan curves I set, the fans do not change speed with rising temps. It only changes if I press the turbo button. Tried changing settings in bios, in MSI Dragon Center (uninstalled after I tried since I know it's resource heavy), manually changing speed in Silent Option does nothing. I'm out of ideas so any help would be appreciated.

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. I'm newbie in this stuff, I just want to know if we can directly upgrade to the latest BIOS? I'm using Ryzen 5 3600 (Matisse) on AsRock B450 Steel Legend. I bought this cpu and motherboard in 2020 together and out of the box the motherboard came with Ryzen 3000 ready so I haven't updated the BIOS till date. Currently I'm running BIOS version P2.90 and as of writing this, the Latest BIOS version on my motherboard website is 4.60. Uploading both the pictures below. The real reason I'm concerned about is that since I got my R5 3600, its been overheating alot. It came with a Stealth Cooler and the In-game temps were hitting 95 constant. So I bought a cheap aftermarket cooler which is Cooler Master Hyper H410R and the temps went a bit low like to 86-88 degrees. I've even changed the thermal paste recently but still the CPU utilization is hovering around 70-85% usage and temps above 80 degrees. Links to my motherboard website : https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450 Steel Legend/index.us.asp#BIOS So should I update my BIOS and if yes, can I updated it directly to 4.60 or do I need to install every version manually? Thanks in advance Omkar aka theboostedkid

So my I'm running a Ryzen 5 5600x on its stock cooler and while gaming sometimes it reaches around 80 to 85 degree's while hovering around 40 to 60 % utilization. Game : Apex legends I'm not sure if this normal or not and if its a healthy temp but assuming its not will an aio be a better option over a air cooler ? Im planning on buying the deepcool LS520. Thoughts, suggestions ? so, I thought switching to an AIO would help temps get lower, but they seem to be averaging around 60 Celsius idle (package temps).. I have an amd ryzen 7 3800x, is this normal, or is there anything I can do? also seems to be boosting the frequency from 3,9-4,4Ghz is this normal? Image for refrence

Hey guys, I am getting around 77-80°C max for both CPU and GPU while folding at home, is this a safe temp, how far I can go with temps? My CPU - Ryzen 5 1600 (not af) My GPU - Gigabyte 1650 super.
