Hey guys so my pc windows 11 is getting frozen on the motherboard logo screen with the little dots in a circle when I try to boot it up, although this is a normal issue I have tried all of the normal solutions and not had anything work. I have not added any new hardware to my pc in the last year. the last thing I did was replace the motherboard December 2022 because one of my ram channels was bad but it has been working fine since. It does boot to the bios and I can do some things from there but I cannot get it to load an operating system. Hardware in my pc: MSI b550 mobo ryzen 7 5700g 16gb gskill ram 650w power supply 3070 500gb m.2 with windows 1tb hhd additional storage List of things I have tried: 1. turn it off and back on 2. check bios to make sure all hardware is reporting (it is) 3. restore factory defaults on bios 4.remove cmos battery 5. replace cmos battery 6. remove each stick of ram leaving only 1 8gb stick in the pc 7. removed gpu attempting to boot on integrated 8. created hirens recovery cd (usb) to try to boot from 9. removed each storage device attempting to boot from usb only 10. hold shift to try to force recovery mode every time its the same result. it just freezes even on the usb it still froze. I am loosing my mind here trying to figure out what is causing this. I feel like after all the tests I have done it has to be either the motherboard or cpu but it seems so strange that I can get in to the bios just fine. Any ideas would be awesome!

Hello, since I built my pc I have been experiencing freezes and lags although I have a good cooler for my cpu, and a decent gpu and cpu. I have tried swapping the ram, and it fixed the problem a little bit, I have thoughts that it might be my vertical gpu mount but I want to know first what the issue can be. I have'nt experienced a BSOD but after my pc has been on for a while (can change from time to time how long it takes until it does that) I also have a pretty reliable ssd that have good reviews and all my drivers are up to date too. The thing I'm a bit worried about is that my ram rgb is lagging when my pc is on heavy (but not that heavy) load, could it be the Icue software that causes this freezing and lag? Could it be the power outlet? If you want specs and temps here they are: 5700X 35-57C° 4070 28-70C° 64gb 3200mhz ram Nothing is overclocked I am reposting this yet again because of no answers on my last post. Just a reminder if you want to see my replys and stuff make sure to follow the topic, thank you.

I'm wondering if anyone has this issue with their xiaomi device where even when you set your notification (built-in xiaomi ringtones) that has a unique tactile vibration pattern; and when they receive a notification from whatsapp, instagram etc, it just completely ignores it and instead does the long double vibration. Even when receiving whatsapp calls, it does the long vibration pattern instead of the tactile ones. Only messages from SMS and incoming calls from the phone app follows the tactile vibration pattern. I updated from MIUI to HyperOS and the issue is still not fixed. (I had this issue on MIUI too) Current device: Xiaomi 13T Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! After a few minutes of gameplay every game crashes... Except for LoL so far. Some with an error window, some without. I recently upgraded my pc so I was thinking maybe some parts are faulty, but I cannot figure out which. CPU : I5-12600kf --> I7-13700kf GPU : RTX2060 Super --> RTX4070 TI RAM : 2x16GB 3600mhz --> 4x16GB 3600mhz (kept the original 2 sticks and got another 2 sticks) PSU : 700W --> 1200W Atx 3.0 MBO : Prime z690M-d4 --> Z790P-WiFi d4 I did a clean windows reinstall. Updated every driver. Did try sfc /scannow. Used DDU. Tried all this in safe mode + without network. Reset Nvidia control panel to default. Nothing is overclocked (RAM XMP is enabled though) Yet games keep crashing after a few minutes of gameplay. Sometimes I can play 40 minutes, sometimes barely 15. Games that crashed so far : Dying Light Mount and Blade Bannerlord Xcom 2 WoTC Aliens Dark descent. Games that did not crash (yet?) : League of Legends & Teamfight Tactics. I will try other games too so I will update the lists. For now I am completely lost on what to do next. Is any of my hardware faulty? Is one of the drivers faulty? Am I just having terrible luck? Please if anyone has any idea. Help me. 1. Edit : All temps are below 60°c at all times

Hi all, Currently having issues with my ram. I have had my build for over two years now and I've never been able to get XMP to work. I have posted on here before about this subject (see below). Previous post Since then I have been on the gigabyte website and looked at a QVL list and brought some ram which is stated on the QVL list for panicle ridge, (CMR16GX4M2C3000C15). I am still having the same issue as I had before with my other 3 sets of ram I brought and tried over the two years. Still getting the 3beeps on bios exit and boot loop three times before one beep and start up. I'm wondering if it could have anything to do with my CPU/motherboard/ PSU as I've changed ram so many times and have had the same issue all the way along. Another issue I'm now having is that a stupid amount of ram is getting used as committed ram (22.7gb out of my 32). Any advice on either of these issues would be appreciated, Thank you

So, I just decided to upgrade to intel 12th gen. I bought an i9-12900k, gigabyte aorus master mobo, and 2 sticks of 16gb gskill trident z5 memory. I also upgraded to a 360mm h150i elite lcd. This isn't the first time I've upgraded cpu generations nor is it a first for a new aio or really any upgrade. So im relatively experienced when it comes to installing any new hardware on my pc. I've got a problem though that I'd really appreciate some help with. This new configuration wont post whatsoever. I've checked all my connections, made sure the memory was installed correctly. I tried running single channel on each stick in each slot to no avail. I've cleared the cmos too and still no result. I stripped my pc down, took the gpu out and tried running it like that, still nothing. I can't even get into the bios. My psu is an evga 850w gold rated so it shouldn't have any issues delivering the juice the components need. My fans spin, rgb turns on, the pump turns on so power is working. I'd also like to note that the lcd screen shows displays a red triangle with an exclamation mark aswell before the pc powers on. When I turn it on, it stays on for around 20-30 seconds before restarting and trying to reboot itself. I get the same error codes off of the mobo everytime no matter the ram configuration unless its entirely out of the system. The codes are: c2, c4, 28, 54, c1. I know c2 and c4 are codes for "reserved". I dont know what that means. I know 58 is memory initialization error occurs from the manual of the mobo. I forgot what 28 means to be honest. I also believe at one point i got 58 aswell, cpu self test failed/cpu cache error, but it dosen't pop up anymore. The only thing that i can think of is the memory or the slots are faulty. The only troubleshooting methods I haven't tried are quick flashing the bios and checking for bent pins/reinstalling the cpu. Although, i severely doubt I seated the cpu improperly. That's the only other things i can think to do besides getting a new set of ram from the seller and returning this current set. If that dosen't work then i return the mobo and try that, if that isn't what it is then I guess I replace the cpu aswell. If anyone has any further insight/troubleshooting for this I'd greatly appreciate it, for now my rig is down, big sadge.

Hello, I was hoping to hopefully resolve this problem I've been having for so long, I've tried everything I could possibly think of to resolve my FPS lag and stutters in games such as Valorant. It stutters even more when I start bunny hopping. These are my specs: • MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8G Graphics Card • Ryzen 5 2600 CPU • Corsair Vengeance Pro 64GB RAM • Corsair CX550 Powersupply • Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard • Corsair iCUE 465x Case Things I've tried: • Reinstalling Windows 10 • Performance Plan set to Ultimate Performance • All Windows 10 telemetry and background processes turned off, removed all bloatware, etc... • Setting the process priority in Task Manager to High • Updating Nvidea Graphics Driver • Updating AMD CPU Chipset • Tried using Process Lasso to set game priority to the highest, also tried using specific cores and edited the affinity to no luck • Disabled Hardware Acceleration in all applications • Tried using the lowest graphics settings possible in Valorant • Set all of my Nvidea control panel settings for the best performance over quality • I have tried enabling and disabling game mode and setting it for the highest performance in graphic settings • Disabled all Visual Effects in Windows 10 Performance Options • Added a 32GB paging file size to both my hard drive and SSD • Set Process Scheduling for the best performance of programs • Set the msconfig boot settings to use all of my cores and set timeout to 3 • Edited some registry keys to optimise my system, keys edited: NetworkThrottlingIndex, SystemResponsiveness, GPU Priority, Priority, Scheduling Category • Used CPUCoreParking to utilize my entire CPU when using programs • Checked for errors within my drives, optimised and defragged them • I also ran a User Test Bench: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/57428314 • Tried disabling fullscreen optimisations for Valorant, tried running it as administrator, and changing the High DPI scaling override • Used SFC /scannow in terminal as admin to see if there were any issues with Windows and I got the results:

I just got a new 2tb hdd by WD for my new PC and was able to assign it a drive letter and copy files on it, but after the 3rd boot up it doesn't appear in windows anymore. I tried checking the disk manager, but it doesn't appear there anymore, but it appears in bios? I also tried using a hdd adapter and connected to other PCs, I get the same result. Can anybody help me out, I really don't want to lose my files.

I just inherited a new desktop with 2 Samsung 2.5 inch SSD's in what I think is a RAID 0 configuration. I want to swap in a new motherboard because the old one is a proprietary dell board that's incompatible with modern GPU's... I have no experience with RAID and i'm unsure of what will happen if I just swap everything to the new motherboard...PLEASE HELP! Here's what I know: The drives are directly connected to the motherboard with SATA cables and there's no other hardware that would be managing RAID as far as I can tell. When viewing disk management disk 0 is marked as basic and there's no other visible internal drives. Device Manager shows a Intel RAID 0 Volume I cant find any software on the system associated with Raid management Computer Specs: (Nothing Special but want to possibly use it for a Living Room Entertainment PC) i7 2600 (Stock Cooler) 16GB RAM 2 Samsung 500 GB 2.5" SSD INVIDIA 750 TI (Only GPU I could find that wold work with the lame locked down dell motherboard hence my desire to swap motherboards) Thermaltake 650 Gold Power Supply

So, I bought the following system and I am reusing my ASUS X99 deluxe Original and 5820k. PC posts, can install windows etc and then when I try and install the AMD drivers it's either not detecting the GPU even though I can see it's working, or it blackscreens and nothing happens. I can still look at BIOS just not windows. Any ideas? James

i have what i would consider a mid-tier pc with only a bit of age on it, 2-4 years. i has the specs to run most of my pc games but, as of recently it wish spontaneously crash after running great for the first 5-10 minutes of the game. Sometimes it just freezes both visual and audio wise, but other times it give me a BSOD with the error code WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. I have reseated all of my components including the mobo and PSU and have had no luck in solving the issue. I have attempted dskchk, adjusting my virtual RAM, my RX580 has the most up-to-date drivers, all of which did nothing either i have no idea what it could be and i dont have alternative parts to switch them out with other than a pretty terrible 1060. What do I do?

Hey. I'm having issues with mouse stutter in games (for example Valorant, never happened in dekstop). I hope the video can showcase it well enough (the mouse movement was one smooth motion, the mouse was stopping sometimes by itself). At first i thought that it's a mouse problem so I switched from Logitech G403 to Razer Viper, the problem still existed. I tried switching my polling ratio to 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz, and that didn't help. Changing my NVidia control panel settings or lowering resolution and lowering graphics quality didn't help. I switched my mousepad to a different one, used multiple surfaces and I still had that problem. I have no idea what could be the issue that's causing it. I also reinstalled my windows, cleaned it up too. I reinstalled Valorant still to no success. If anyone had that problem or could find a solution I would be forever grateful. Here are my PC Specs: Motherboard Chipset Intel H97 Processor i5-4460 (3.2 GHz, 3.4 GHz Turbo, 6 MB Cache, 84W) RAM 8 GB DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) Graphics Card NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB issue.mp4

Hi guys so I'm new to this trend called building a computer. My kids and I always had computers whether we bought them online or went inside the store and bought them. My kids had challenged me to build them a computer that is capable of using recording Studio softwares some examples are Native Instruments FL Studios (Fruity Loops) Pro Tools just to name a few. Making music is something that I teach them I also teach them piano and drums. Not only do they want this computer to have the ability to use various Recording Studio software. They also want this computer to be a gaming video streaming video editing family computer. I am on my knees typing looking for help yes I've looked on YouTube very informal and a lot to take in at once but one thing I did get out of watching the YouTube videos is that I should spend the most of my money on the CPU and the graphics card. I am leaning towards a ryzen build I'm stuck between the 3600 and the 3700 from there I don't know where else to go as you can see the only thing that I have so far in my house is my full computer tower for this build. Any help is grateful I will very much appreciate it please help me and point me in the right direction also this one be my successful build with the help of you guys. Furthermore after completing this successful dealed with the help of you guys I will be able to teach my kids how to build a computer and they'll be able to share that experience and teach someone else that they know thank you for your help. Lastly like I said I'm a newbie to this building thing so I was wondering do I need to get a video capturing card to render they're videos that they want to go on YouTube and also do I need to get a sound card to capture all the recording tracks that we produce on the recording studios software just trying to get all my information and facts correct?

Hello Everybody. i have now been stalking around these fantastic forums for a while, but never really posted here before. i am in the situation where i would greatly like some advise for my Gaming Rig. i want to upgrade my gpu, but i am very unsure if it even is the gpu i need to upgrade (not sure about bottlenecks at all) my current Rig: Board: MSI Z77A-G43, Socket-1155 Cpu: Intel® Core i7-2700K Processor Ram: Kingston ValueR. DDR3 1333MHz 8GB Gpu: Gainward GeForce GTX 660Ti 2GB and i am using an: Corsair CX 750M, 750W PSU ATX 12V V2.3, 80 Plus Bronze, Modular. 4x 6+2pin PCIe, 8x SATA, 6x Molex Now - is there any bottlenecks in this build? i am very unsure and linus Videos is a great help but i am far from that good a techi to be able to figure this out by myself. i was looking at the new 780 card from Nvidia. my budget is rather large - but ain't the best at setting stuff together and make em work, so any help on how to upgrade my current rig would be Greatly Appreciated :) (Budget is for a new Cpu or Gpu or Ram) aint big enough to buy a all new rig, but i can buy a single tiem to upgrade with. Best Regards: Nick Aka Kaarmaa :)
