im not super tech savvy but am learning everyday ive been looking forward to and saving up for a pc and finally managed to purchase a custom made pc through a local company in my city. went all out amd rizen 9 5900 12 core the whole works a 4090geforce the whole works went high end for the rig. the issue ive experienced is about after a month of heavy usage it began crashing in a strange matter. when the pc crashes or at least i assume its a crash maybe using the wrong terminology. but as im running a game or doing anything it happens regardless if its under load or not but the screen cuts all feed like my monitor no longer recognizes input from the pc yet the pc still seems to be running as my headphones are still receiving audio and through this audio ive found my input are still working like if in a game i can still control but not see or if in discord im still speaking once more all the fans on my graphics card go to max like its overheating but my readings still say temps are optimal right before feed cuts. at first i thought maybe it the monitor changed monitors problem persists so i bring it back to the company i commissioned to create the pc and they change out parts or so they say tell me they changed out my graphics card my cpu power supply and ram they changed and replaced everything out yet after 3 separate visits they still havnt been able to fix the problem they tell me its fixed and parts where replaced yet when i bring it home the problem starts right back up and the crashes seem to come with no rhyme or reason as they happen sporadically with no trigger seemingly as it happen with and without any applications open or running. im at a loss for words and the local company has started to loose some trust as after muliple visits i still seam to have a few thousand dollar lemon im severely frustrated at this point and am reaching for any kind've advice that may lead to a solution for this odd crash im experiencing once more ive noticed that the crashing happens most frequently after initial start p but the most frustrating part is the issue is hard to replicate pr seems to have no directly easily replicable trigger sometimes i go an enitre 4-5 hour game session with no crashes other times it crashes the second i even get an app open sometimes it only does it once an hour other times it happens back to back multiple times then doesnt happen for a the rest of the day next day its crashing continuous out of nowhere it stops for three days then bam streaks all day long i cant find any kindve logic to it and have no clue where to look anymore

I recently purchased 2 more sticks of corsair vengeance lpx 8gb each which of i already had 2 in my pc. So adding them would equal 32 gb of ram. After adding them i noticed I was getting a Bsod every so often like sometimes every hour and sometimes twice in the span of 5 min. Now i checked my bios to make sure they are running at the correct speeds and voltage. I also checked my bios to make sure my MB was reading all 4 ram sticks, which it is. Another thing i checked was that they are properly installed which they are. Also when opening task manager it also tells me i have 32 gb of ram available at 3600. For anyone who needs to know to help me i am using windows 11. From all the info i had gathered before buying and installing the ram sticks is that they were more or less suppose to be plug and play, thats if they were the same brand and speed. That is what i did yet it cause an issue. Would love some help/support if possible thanks.

So I just built my brand new PC and everything was working fine until after I installed Windows, BIOS stuff, and set up the pc I went to connect to the internet using an ethernet cable, but it didn't connect anywhere. The wifi has the same issue. I tried the device manager and removing the ethernet device or internet device but I can't do that when nothing shows up for me. It says that I don't have the correct wifi drivers to connect to the internet so I'm stranded with a useless expensive PC. I looked it up in the forums and everyone said something about downloading the drivers onto a USB or watching the DVD that came with my motherboard to get the wifi drivers but nothing worked. Someone, please help me. My motherboard is the Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wifi II btw. Thanks. I've been having this issue for a while and cannot find a fix for it. When playing DX12 games my audio will cut out and my game will freeze (sometimes it unfreezes sometimes it gully crashes and closes). After a handful of seconds my audio comes back. If I'm in a discord call I will have to leave and rejoin before my mic sill start working again. it can happen as often as a few seconds apart or even hours apart. It is incredibly frustrating problem that I haven't been able to fix. I have tried: Updating my Bios Clean install of GPU drivers RAM health checks My specs: Ryzen 9 3900x Gigabyte RTX 3080 32GB 3200 MHZ Corsair Vengeance RAM ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PLUS Wi-Fi Edit; PSU is EVGA 850 GQ If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate the help

A pc I built a while ago started to have issue's today, when it was turned on it would just boot loop, i checked the little debug screen on the motherboard and it gave me the error 03, i checked the manual and it said it was something wrong with the Power on North Bridge Initialization, i wasn't quite sure what that meant i needed to do and after a little bit of googling it seemed like i needed to try reseating the cpu, gpu, and ram, so i tried that and while i was at it i reseated the cmos battery but did not replace it and i did the unplug and replug on all the cables, but after i did that i continued to have the boot loop that ends with the debug light on 03 so at this point I'm not super sure what to do. If you guys know anything i could try to get it working I'd definitely appreciate it! Specs CPU: I5 4590 MOBO: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 GPU: Gtx 980 Ram: Some generic 4x2 8gb ddr3 ram

I do not have an AMD Graphics Card, but I do have the Ryzen 7 5000 Series came with a card. My current device is a Laptop, TUF A15 paired with Radeon Processors/Graphic and Nvidia Graphic. And I am now using Windows 11, when I was using Windows 10. The Software/Adrenaline works fine for me. I could install and use it without a single problem. Once I upgraded to windows 11. I don't know why but Radeon Software is untouchable, and I decided to uninstall and reinstall it, I tried to download their auto install in Drivers & Support but once I opened the installation, it says that "This app can't run on this PC". And I check on MyAsus app to update the Latest AMD Chipset. It wouldn't work. Once I installed the chipset and restarted the laptop, nothing happened and MyAsus told me to download it repeatedly which meant that nothing works.

I have an issue where windows says in the convert process "Cannot find room for EFI system partition" "MBR2GPT: Converstion fail" and I don't know how to fix this and I need help. I have tried everything from resizing a partition, to move partitions and nothing. I wanted to try using DISKPART, but that would wipe the drive and I don't want to do on my laptop. Can someone please explain and help me figure out why I am getting this error?

I had no idea what the motherboard standoffs were for and I screwed the motherboard right onto the case and ran it for a bit. I quickly found out that this was a terrible thing and I removed it and put it back on with the standoffs. I also wasn't too good at handling the motherboard. The computer is still running just fine. The motherboard isn't bent or anything, actually, it looks fine. I'm a little scared though. Have I avoided a disaster or could something bad happen down the line? Should I just replace my motherboard or am I good?

Budget (including currency): Country: Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hi I wanted to check with you guys whether the components will fit and if there are going to be performance issues. I am mainly going to be using this build for both gaming and school projects. Thanks. [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YCqgGq)

Okay so I took the mobo out the box pre tested my psu and made sure everything was right. I followed these steps rename the BIOS file to MSI.ROM format the usb to FAT32 and move it onto the usb connect the cpu_pwr1 and atx_pwr1 from your psu (plug in your psu first) plug the usb w/ the file into the "Flash BIOS Port" in the rear IO press the flash bios button on your MOBO and the LED should flash and then once the process is done your LED will turn off my psu hasn't turned off and neither has the stupid blinking on my USB or the motherboard light beside the flash button. that light is staying hard red while the usb is flashing. I read other threads and a bunch of people just returned the mobo and it worked the 2nd time but is there anything I'm missing before I do that? If there isn't, does anyone know how I can cancel the flash without bricking my mobo?

I'll pull out my laptop, power it on, and be faced with the BIOS. Then, no matter what I do, reset and exit, load optimized defaults, save and exit, I just wind up back at this same screen again. This can go on for hours. But just as mysteriously as the problem arises, it also vanishes. For some reason, the issue almost never crops up when I'm at home. And it almost always crops up when I'm out of the house.

alright, so to start my specs list is Ryzen 5 2600 MSI RX 5700 XT MECH OC 16 gigs gskill aegis so since i upgraded to a 5700xt there have been certain games that run fine, but others that just crash after a few minutes of playing, for example overwatch will just crash half waythrough a game and say "temps too hot" and i check temps right after and they're fine, and apex also just crashes randomly, as does ffxiv and pso2, and every time i get a thing from radeon saying "driver failure" i've tried every fix i can find online with no luck. Here's my gpu info after overwatch told me game gpu was too hot and the driver failure shit that pops up from radeon....i can't afford a new gpu, and i can't return this one cause a friend gave it to me, and i gave my old one to my girlfriend for her first pc build so i don't know what to do.

Budget (including currency): $1000 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Lots of games, from triple A to indie on medium, but preferably high, video watching, school, discord. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): The budget is just for the PC itself, not the peripherals, and this will be a future PC, because of the current GPU shortage.

if i download ,say 20 apps, every time i change a laptop,pc or just reset it, I'd like that all my apps (and hopefully settings) can be easily downloaded like ninite but a more diverse library as well as easy to use. is there some process, feature or application where i can list all my preferred apps and just click install. TLDR : how to make a personal ninite like installer composed of all apps i want.

No Post But Motherboard Beeps to Say everything is fine
George1915 posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Hey I have had this computer for a while now. The specs are: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Cpu: Intel I7 3770 8gb ddr3 ram. Up until now I was using the cpus integrated graphics but I saved up and bought a 1060. The system was working before but then I installed the gpu after that everything blew up in my face. Everything turned on the fans lit up the gpu fans spin and the Motherboard beeped once as normal to say everything was good. Yet I am not getting any output. I can't find anything online about this issue but have considered a post card. Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it? -

I upgraded my CPU from an i5-8400 to an i7-9700k. I immediately got a yellow DRAM light and I tried to switch back to my old CPU but the error prevails. I unplugged everything and took it all apart. After putting my PC back together it's still here. I've been doing this for 6 hours and am just exhausted. My motherboard is ASUS strix z370-e gaming, my ssd is Samsung 1 gb, my power supply is evga 650w, my cooler is cooler master, my ram is 1x8 ballistix and a 1x32 teamgroup. I tried switching out the ram in all slots and got no results. Please help I'm tired

Help me decide between a ryzen 3 3300x and an i5-10400f. If u need to know the ryzen 3 is 20 dollars more. Which one gives me better performance for longer time. Hopefully 3 to 5 years. Dont hold back on recommending other cpu's that outperform these 2 and around the same price.
