I recently ordered EVGA RTX 3070 Ultra which only has 1 HDMI port and 3 DP. I'm currently running a dual monitor set up, but the monitors only takes HDMI, VGA or DVI. So I'm just wondering if I can run 1 HDMI for 1 monitor and for the other use a DP to HDMI adapter or wire and still maintain same quality on both monitors. Thanks in advance!

I've recently started buying parts for a new tower. I'm a first time builder and barley know the bare minimum for pc building and parts. Though recently I purchased the motherboard for my rig and the company I've bought it from has announced it as a TBA (To Be Announced) meaning they wont even know when ill be receiving it. Its been around 5 weeks since i bought it and they are still saying its a TBA. So I've come here to see if they're any like this motherboard i could get instead.

So after a big battle with looking if somebody had the same problem and... well they all have similar problem but not the exact one like me Anyway i upgraded from ryzen 3600 to 5800x3d and before i did upgrade i updated bios on my gigabyte X570 UD (rev 1.0) from F21 to F36. and the problem is that well cpu doesnt boost at all it sits on 3.3ghz and 0.95 CPU VDD and SoC VDD 0.975 volt. Yes i tried to update to F37a and F37d BUT GUESS WHAT "invalid bios image" so im stuck and yes tried to set bios to default i tried to reset cmos and YES i tried older versions of bios and every time clocks REFUSE to move even by inch above 3.3ghz on aida64 and cinebench. plz send help i will try the old cpu when i will have more thermal paste

Specs: MOBO: ROG Strix X570-E Gaming (Update 1405, most recent) CPU: Ryzen y 3800X PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G5, 80 Plus Gold 750W GPU: SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 5700 XT 100416NT+8GSR 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 x16 ATX Video Card SSD: Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.00 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal SSD (Has Windows 10 Boot) HDD: WD Black 4TB Performance Hard Drive - 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 256 MB Cache, 3.5" RAM: TEAMGROUP T-Force Xcalibur RGB DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3600 MHz What I have tried already: sfc /scannow chkdsk Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Window's memory test Note: All of the above tools displayed no errors memtest86 (until 2nd passthrough, but the screen didn't seem to be updating when I got home from work after 9 hours, so I guess this failed) Updating drivers, made sure BIOS was up-to-date Unplugged the HDD to rule that out and still encountered errors Uninstalling recent programs Disabling Windows Defender Running several antivirus scans About a hundred Microsoft BSoD support pages and YouTube videos Overclocking CPU and RAM voltage and testing everything, reverting to default values and testing everything Changing the power plug location Changing the RAM slots Prime95 on Blend mode (Sometimes Prime95 crashed after 15-20 minutes, after overvolting, it crashed after 3 hours while rounding errors were displayed where the value was supposed to be under 0.4 but went to 0.48... and eventually got to 9e+15. After the 9e+15 error, I got a bunch of "NUL"s to show by viewing the log in Notepad++, which I assume is some sort of encoding used to represent an overflow value? Additionally, the total value that was supposed to be calculated was around 6 million but turned out to be 5 million). Note: HWMONITOR displayed temperatures and voltages below the maximum, so this doesn't seem to be an overheating issue. The hottest the CPU got was around 72 °C, but the temperature usually stayed somewhere in the 60s. What I think the issue is: The BSoDs that I have had have all had various errors, the most common being CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. I've gotten a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, an, UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION (while running Prime95 I believe?), and a couple KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERRORs. It seems to be pretty obvious to me that the issue is a hardware issue due to all the crashes and the Prime95 results.txt. I am not able to use any logs because the system doesn't always generate them. I had only one log generated after reinstalling Windows over my old installation, which was a Kernel Power, Error 41 issue from Window's event viewer. When I decided to do a factory reset and delete my SSD, I had an error copying all the files. I rebooted and tried again and had success. Unfortunately, while setting up Windows at the "getting things ready for you" screen, I crashed and now have a very basic installation missing some components. I can try again, but I don't think that would do much good. It seems the issue lies with the SSD, the CPU, or the RAM, but I am unable to figure out why so I came here asking for help. The one thing I do still have is the Prime95 log, which I can attach if it's of any use. I'm at my wits' end. Should I try running memteset86 again or would you guys be able to help me diagnose the error? Edit: The computer was in sleep mode but it just got another CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error.

I just inherited a new desktop with 2 Samsung 2.5 inch SSD's in what I think is a RAID 0 configuration. I want to swap in a new motherboard because the old one is a proprietary dell board that's incompatible with modern GPU's... I have no experience with RAID and i'm unsure of what will happen if I just swap everything to the new motherboard...PLEASE HELP! Here's what I know: The drives are directly connected to the motherboard with SATA cables and there's no other hardware that would be managing RAID as far as I can tell. When viewing disk management disk 0 is marked as basic and there's no other visible internal drives. Device Manager shows a Intel RAID 0 Volume I cant find any software on the system associated with Raid management Computer Specs: (Nothing Special but want to possibly use it for a Living Room Entertainment PC) i7 2600 (Stock Cooler) 16GB RAM 2 Samsung 500 GB 2.5" SSD INVIDIA 750 TI (Only GPU I could find that wold work with the lame locked down dell motherboard hence my desire to swap motherboards) Thermaltake 650 Gold Power Supply

I got a new pc about a year ago everything was doing great then windows started getting slow. And i reinstalled windows 10 (64 bit) that was the operating system before. Everything was good and i had it about for a month and i (still dont know why) reinstalled windows because i wanted i fresh start. When my drives weren't showing up but i downloaded the drivers and everything was ok then i got to a new fresh windows. First i installed chrome and all of that but i have a Geforce GTX 1050 Ti. So i wanted to install drivers but the Geforce Expiricence had a lot to install and i had slow Internet. So i went to device manager and i clicked on my graphics card and go to install and find drivers online i needed to go to school so i Quickly do that shut down the pc and go to school after i came back i hop on my pc and then everything was OK. RGB on my pc was working fine all the fans and all of that... Then i had two lights one blue (that indicated that my pc was on) that was lighting and one red (for the ssd activity) BTW i had a SSD on which was windows and a Hard drive where was all of my games. And now back to the story so the red one wasn't showing up at all and my monitor wasn't showing any signal at all (My monitor uses VGA) And then i tried pluging in my TV with HDMI and it was not showing nothing. And then i pluged in my RGB keyboard which was usually working but then i pluged it in it wasn't working then i pluged it in my PS4 and it was working. Can i please fix this without opening the case. And if no how to fix it. Help! And also sorry for my English.

Hello guys, i have a problem with GTA Online. A while ago i installed ScripHookV for singleplayer and i found it to be quite fun, so a few days ago i tried to do some more moding (i'm very new to the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race ) this time i installed the no water mod, i used OpenIV to replace the water.xml file, and everytime i swiched betwen single- and multiplayer i replaced that file, but suddenly with the correct water.xml file i logged into GTA Online, and it said "you have been banned from Grand Theft Auto Online, return to Grand Theft Auto V" and went into singleplayer were it said that i was unbanned again the 3rd of October. That made me wonder if there is a way for me to check that i am running the vanilla version? Because i really don't wan't to be banned a second time. Thanks in advance. BTW i'm running the non-steam version.

Hey guys, so I'm freaking out. My LG 34UM95 has a green vertical line on it when it is powered on regardless of the input. I have tried pressing/tapping on the edge and that worked for a day, but now its back and pressing/tapping is not working anymore. I'm not sure what to do next and I can't return it (bought it used off of amazon warehouse deals so no warranty either). Any advice would be great. If nothing else, I'm thinking about trying to take it apart and seeing if its just a loose ribbon cable or something like that. If anyone has any material on taking it apart that would be helpful as well (might be able to stumble through it myself but having someone who has done it before would help a lot). I'll upload a photo so you all can laugh at my misfortune(and maybe help). Thanks in advance. -Wolf

Hey guys i need help build a gaming pc, this is my first time and i have spent time watching youtube on how to assemble them they only thing i am worried about if i am either spending too much on a componet in which i could dump the money back into the grapics card ect... My budget is £300 (Great Britsh Pound) and i live in the UK of course. When building this pc i dont care about any futureproofingness or anything like that, i just want to be able to run FPS on meduim to high settings. Eg Battlefield,Call Of duty and half life based games such as Garry's Mod and CsGo. Currently i have only 1 monitor but will eventuall will be upgrading to 2 monitor setup and i would love it if they were at a 1080p res dont really care about 4k just want 1080p would be fine for me. So yeah thats it guy's hope that i can get some good advice back would be greatly appreciated, i will attach the part's that i have chosen in a attachment so you guys can see what you think if i could either save some money or if there is a better product on the market, the total cost of the parts i have selcected is £291.49 so if you guys can save me some money would be greatly appecited! Thanks's once again guys.
