So guys im planning to do a full watercooled pc. So far these are the things i have decided Case Dark base 900 (Case received) Cpu Ryzen 1800x. (Waiting to receive my preorder unit) Fans Silent wings 3 120mm (Stock received) Okay i fcked up again. Since im so used to 120mm i literally taught the case support 480. I Even checked the website before for the radiator support and i dont understand how come i got confused with 420mm with 480mm. Im such an idiot. I asked my local shop to exchange 120mm with 140mm so problem solved. Rams Trident Z Rgb 4x8gb dual channel 3200mhz (Waiting stock getting it on march probably same time with ryzen) Ssd 2x 850 pro 512gb in hand and probably getting a 960 evo since supplier in my region still havent bring in stock for 960 pro Block Ekwb supremacy evo full nickel with am4 mount (For some reason ekwb say its free and add 0.01 for the additional mounts) (Ordered waiting shipment to arrive) Fittings Barrrow TYKN K-16 V1 Silver and Acrylic tubing (Ordered waiting shipment to arrive) Reservoir Singularity computers protium reservoir medium with D5 pump top and mod kit And i just realised i fck up when i checked my order and the ethereal dual reservoir mount wasn't listed in my order. First world problems people. (Need to reorder cause left out some parts) Ok reordered so problem solved Pump 2x Laing D5 (stock received) I still havent ordered my radiator because im not sure wt type radiator im going to use until i receive my case to take measurements. Roughly im planning a 480 at the top and front. Im borrowing some stuff from my friends like the heat gun, silicon insert, and bending kit. I have some experience with petg before but havent played with acrylic. So if my bends are bad pls advice me wts wrong. I still havent decided wt colour of loop should go into my build. I will update here after i receive my parts. I wished to get some tips and tricks how i see other build log u guys really take some great pictures. I have a sony rx 100 v but i dont know how to take great pictures with it. I have tried messing with the settings and manual mode but still doesnt turns out to be as good. Do u guys do some post processing on the pictures or u guys have some magic settings pls share with me since i would love to take some great shots too. Okay i have a question and this is important. If i run my pump configuration in series how do set it up. Is it as simple as 1st pump out to the 2nd pump inlet and 2nd pump out to the hardware and water flows back in to the 1st pump. Sorry if this question is silly i havent done pump configuration in series before just making sure.

And if I can save myself the hassle of painting them myself that would be great. The only line of white rads I can ever find are the Black Ice Nemesis line by Hardware Labs. Since I rarely ever see them mentioned by the various water-cooling enthusiast YouTubers I watch, I start to doubt if they would be a good choice. The actual specs I'm looking for are rads that are 30mm thick or less, low FPI for low noise, and I would need a 360, 240, and 120. Can anyone vouch for the Black Ice rads by Hardware Labs or should I stick to a more known brand like Alphacool and just do the custom paint job myself?

So.. after a few weeks of going back and forth between some parts and some other decisions (liquid vs air)... I finally ordered parts on Friday. Some of it will come apart for the cooling to go in, but I wanted a general idea of what to expect as far as room and looks. My question for you is one of performance. I recently upgraded my X99 system from a 5820K to a 6900K and now I'm ready to install a custom loop in lieu of my Swiftech AIO. I have settled on a Watercool Heatkiller Pro water block and Hardware Labs Nemesis Black Ice GTS series rads (1 x 240mm & 1 x 360mm). What experience if any have you guys had with either of these? I also will be using Bitspower fittings and an EK D5 pump/res combo. I have also chosen the Thermal Grizzly paste over the Arctic Silver that I've used in the past. Are these reasonable choices? One last question, have you heard anything good or bad about the Gigabyte Waterforce WB 1080 Ti graphics card? Cost wise it seems more economical than buying an $800 card and pasting a $135 waterblock on it? Plus the waterblock has led lighting inside which I kinda dig. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Thanks...

I have opened a build log thread which u can refer from here :- So i need some opinions. I planning to change the radiator from aqua computer airplex radical to hardware labs but just aint sure whether is necessary. I have seen benchmarks and stuff i know hardware labs radiator are great but still haven't made up my mind. My thoughts were changing the bottom radiator to 2x480gts(gpu) and top 480 sr2 (cpu). My gpu temp its ok 15 min furmark is sits around 46 degree but cpu 6850k clocked at 4.3 ghz hits 85 degree to 90 degree in cpu stress test. It even hits 90 degree and spike to 100 when run on prime 95 small ftt which some people say that its too hot i should clock down the frequency but when i use this as daily driver all my games run smoothly no crash on my pc. Since this kind of stress test is more of a worse case scenario but siting at 90 degree for most stress test pass 10 min is obviously doesn't fell right.

So I am planning to liquid cool my threadripper system. At first it was going to be hard line but I gonna do soft tube for ease of maintenance. The specs are Threadripper 1920x Asus Rog Zenith Extreme Sapphire Rx Vega 56 Nitro+ Limited Edition G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3600 mhz 512 GB Samsung 960 Pro SSD 6 TB Ironwolf Pro Hard drive Caselabs S8S Case This system is to be used for game development (level design, 3d modeling and rendering) and some of my other hobbies (possible going make it be able to dual boot as a hackintosh in the future) Some of the components I have chosen to far: Watercool Heatkiller Threadripper CPU Block Bykski Sapphire RX Vega Nitro+ GPU block (the only people who make a block for this gpu) Alphacool Alpha tube 16/10 mm Barrow Fittings Hardware Labs Black Ice SR2 MP 280 6 Corsair ML 120mm Fans White LED 2 Corsair ML 140mm Fans White LED SingularityComputers 150mm Reservoir Combo Any other parts I should consider? I was thinking getting a second hardware labs black ice sr2 mp radiator 360 and possibly getting the koolance quick disconnect fittings for making maintenance easier if it ever needed to be done. I possibly will be switching out my mobo with one of the x399 refresh boards but was wanting some feedback!

Hi,I'm in desperate need for a watercooling community advice.Is one D5 EK pwm pump enough to run Monoblock ,GPU block and 3x Hardware Labs,SR2 420mm/60mm thick,SR2 360mm/60mm thick and GTS 360mm/30mm thick and aprox max 1m brass tubing 16mm OD.Will be using Singularity Computer D5 top and reservoir.Thanks in advance for your help.

I just watched JayTwoCents Ultimate PC Upgrade Part 2 - Red Mist. He says that Skunkworks didn't change color in till he replaced the rads to Hardware Labs. Has anybody else had color change with Hardware Labs because I been thinking of getting them for my build?

Title has the two lines of radiators from EK Waterblocks and Hardware Labs. But which is a better performer in terms of performance, strictly speaking?

Hi! I'm currently using a Cooler Master Storm Trooper and I would like to add a top radiator to my custom watercooling loop. Cooler Master said that the Nepton 280L cooler is compatible in this case. The clearance from the top of the case to the top of the motherboard standoff is 60mm. Fan mounts on the top of the case are slotted, but they are very short slots, but I'm not sure if radiators with 20mm spacing would fit (with all 8 screws). Also, the mounts are not offset. I don't want to cut the filter mounts on the top of the case so I would not be able to fit an extra set of fans on top of the case. I am planning to use Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-3000rpm PWM fans So, here are the radiators I have listed, Hardware Labs Black Ice Nemesis LS280 (312*140*29.7), 16FPI Hardware Labs Black Ice Nemesis GTS280 (312*153*29.7), 16FPI Magicool MC-RADI280 (323*145*29), 16mm fan spacing, 14FPI Koolance HX-CU1402V (316*140*29.2), 20mm fan spacing, 30FPI AlphaCool NexXxoS ST30 280 (319*144*30), 16FPI not sure about Swiftech MCR240-QP (315.6*145.6*30.6), 12FPI So, which of these radiators perform the best? and why?
