Hi all, I have my 6700k running at extreme temperatures and suspect it might be something to do with the aio pump but it still seems a little extreme to me. once the system has been running it will sit at 75-95*C idle with 2% load, fans in the Corsair H115 running at speeds that resemble a helicopter taking off, let alone browsing the net and watching YouTube. sometimes I can’t get past the bios screen because it’s too hot to boot (if I restart mid session) I have put new thermal thermal grizzly paste on multiple times, repositioned fan configuration (every fan is working) , loaded optimised defaults in asus bios (to remove overclocks). is it likely that this is just a aio pump problem? Could it be the cause of this much heat? If I get a cheap air cooler to test would this see drastic results results turn to normal on idle? not sure if I should sink money into a new aio/air cooler or get a new cpu /mobo combo (since this is now a secondary computer) thanks in advance cheers Chris

Hi guys just enquiring about these two combination for my new pc. Im intending to put the 2x 140mm on the bracket top, and the radiator below the fans . What i intend to achieve is that the fan acts as a pull mechanism rather than push [linus coverded something about dust issues with push into the radiator causing issues to clean later on] would the pull config on a 280mm work is my enquiry because there is a 20% ebay deal and im kinda on the verge of buying it [143aud after disc] just enquriing now because if it doesnt fit smoothly i am ok with downgrading to a smaller aio [240mm] just to make it work but would like to check first with the community. Hello there. Again me. So, i've buyed my case, for my build. I chosed the Cooler mAster, Mastercase H500P Mesh. I gonna buy CPU Ryzen9 3900x 70mb. Soo, i need a water cooler or a air cooler for my CPU. I wanna chose the Corsair Hydro Series h115i RGB with 280mm fans, cand i get fit this in my case? On the top? Or should i go for an air cooler for my CPU, and instal 3x Corsair LL120 RGB on the top of my case? An set them to instake? Then i'l have 2x 200fans in front and 3x on top for instake, and 1x, in the back, for the exaust.. So there are two question The h115i RGB with fitting in my case on top? And should i go air cooler my CPU and instal 3 fans on top for extra intake?

So I got my first AIO in the h115 I pro and I'm having really high temps on my cpu so I have a couple questions some just AIO in general questions and some specific to the h115i pro so first some specs and the problem sorry I'm new to the custom pc world and newer to asking for help on the forums so if i miss any important stuff just let me know ok I have a asus z370e gaming mobo i7 8700k with a crappy overclock at 1.34v 5.0ghz not sure if I'm doing all the things right to be stable on a lower voltage but anyways that's for another question another day i have a corsair 750d airflow case so its a good size case 2 intake on the front of the case and one exhaust in the back of the case the h115i pro is in the top of the case fans mounted below the rad as intakes ok so the problem is I will hit 90c even a little higher sometimes on a cinebench test if i use the eztune wizzard on the mobo a slightly high overclock I think it's like 5.1ghz it will hit temps so high it crash the system now looking at the h115 temps the highest it got was 30.5c while cores are at 80c I have no idea if this is normal or not my idle temps are normally around 25-26c for the h115 and 30-40c normally closer to 30c with jumps up to 40c with little 5%-15% usage as I'm looking at the temps on both corsair cue for the h115 and coretemps so how close should cpu temps and the cooler be how much should my cooler temp increase as the cpu heats up and can anyone who has kinda close to the same setup let me know what temps they are getting and reading other forums I've seen conflicting problems one person will say the back plate is normally loose when screwing in the stand offs and putting washers to make it tight can make it easy to over tighten the cooler on the cpu and that after tightening the cooler on as long as it's not loose and doesn't wiggle around it's ok and then I have seen the opposite saying if it's not on tight the cooler won't get proper contact causing high temps I'm at a loss here I don't think my temps should be this high maybe I should just go back the the evo 212 cooler any help is grwatly apreciatted

Hey all sorry if i have posted this in the wrong fourm the website has changed loads since i was last on , anyway I have a heat issue with my H115i The problem is that every so often my cpu temps and the liquid temps both spike up from 38*c to 79-89*c for about 15mins then drop back. This happens id say around 1 to 2 hours after running idle or stress test. What started it off was my liquid temps with too high 45*c tho my cpu was around 55*c and got sick of the fans ramping up gaming, so moved my rad to the front of the case then the top and this fixed the issues. A month after i decided to clean out my system from dust using hover and compressed air put my rad back in and system would not boot with my overclock settings after being stable for over a year. Now even with turbo boost off stock clocks on cpu amd ram this still keeps happing. *So far i have checked the pump still works fine by feeling it running when the temps shoot up *Tried keeping the fans at 100% all the time *got some more thermal paste coming tomorrow to try that *tried putting the rad back at the top but even worse 50*c on liquid and 90*c on cpu on stock So anyone got any ideas rather then binning ir or rma for now would really appriacte it My other guess is that it sounds like a air bubble/ air pocket causing it to spike As the liquid pipe going to the rad is very hot to the touch My specs are Cpu:5930k Gpu:msi 1070s in sli x2 Psu:corsair AX860i MB: msi sli plus Plus my back plate is the stock msi which worked fine for a year My overclock before the problems was 4.7ghz and ram set to 2666 with temp on cpu going no higher then 72*c or hot day 77*c and stable . Like i said this started happing after i cleaned it out ?

Hi all,I am in search for a chassis for my new 8700k build and i've been looking into the Evolve Enthoo ATX Tempered glass case in black. I have been searching the internet and watched a lot of youtube clips but i cannot find information regarding the front mounting of a AIO radiator. In my current case (Carbide Air 540 from Corsair) i'm using a H115i 280mm raditor with 2x140mm fans (mounted in top)So what i want to do is to have 3x120mm fans in the top (without radiator)One 140mm exhaust fan in the back. Put the radiator in the front with a push/pull configuration (sucking air into the case).Here's the problem i cannot figure out, out of all pictures and videos i've seen they are mounting the 280mm so it will fill the middle and bottom slot. This i do not what i want to do.I want to mount the radiator in the top and middle slot so it looks more symetrical. Because when you mount it in the bottom and middle slot you have to remove a piece of the psu-shroud and that to me makes the sleek look go away. Can this be done, have someone done it? Hope someone can shed a light on this!

Hello guys I'm checking around for a compatibility doubt. Is the Corsair H115i compatible "out of the box" with the AsRock X370 Taichi? Or will I need to buy an adapter for AM4 socket? Let me know, thanks in advance!
