I am building a budget system for my little brother. Looking through craigslist I have a choice between 2 cards. The Radeon Sapphire HD 7770 OC (1gb) for 30$ And The EVGA GTX 750ti SC (2gb) for 50$ I've been looking through benchmarks, many of them state that the 7770 performs better on some games; which does not make sense to me. So I thought I'd ask some fellow nerds!

HI, I have a Lenovo M91/M91P SFF with a 240w PSU Here are the specs: Intel i5-2400 4 x 2GB kingston DDR3 ram 500gb 7200rpm HDD GT730 GDDR5 1GB Is it possible to upgrade my GPU with a GT750TI low profile by MSI? (https://www.amazon.ca/MSI-Computer-Graphics-Cards-N750TI-2GD5TLP/dp/B00SOXMPJY/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&q...) I heard that there are 240w PSU computers that were able to run the GTX 750ti. I ordered it on amazon since it was on sale, I could return it if it wasn't compatible with my current setup. I also disconected my optical drive since it was just drawing power and I barely use it. Thanks!

I was wondering if I made a boo boo , I a few years ago had a issue with this card would artifact on windows 7 desktop boot when the driver was installed but without it, it ran fine for a while. I RMA'ed it EVGA told me it had water damage on the back plate and wasn't under warranty. Thought I had a bricked card for 6 months , Got a stupid crazy idea . Took it apart heat sink and fans off the board , washed it with dawn soap and hot water , used a blow dryer to heat it up like super hot hot enough to evaporate all the remaining water droplets. I used a needle to carefully remove any corrosion . waited 24 hours to be sure that all the water was gone , put it back together and by some grace of god it worked , Im using it now . The question is could this adversely effect the rest of my computer

He's playing New games on nearly a solid 50-60 FPS! Planning on building something similar for a brother. Thank you!

The part of my build that currently needs upgrading the most is the GPU(ASUS GTX 750ti 2GB). I intentionally went with an entry level card since it was my first build, most of my steam library was older titles, and I planned to upgrade. Fast forward to now, and just when I was ready to buy a 1070 (the card that j have determined will give me the best long-term value for my gaming requirements), I changed jobs and the mining thing happened. So it'll be a little while before I can upgrade, and my 750ti is stuck doing all the work. Most of the time, it's fine. But on newer titles like Mass Effect Andromeda or Xcom2, it struggles. I have been overclocking using the included ASUS utility, and basically cranked it up as high as it will go. I have never failed a furmark stress test (yet). However, I saw on the overclocking database that some people have gotten the clock speeds even higher on this card. So, how did they do it? And is there anything else that I can do to push this card a little harder for the next few months, or am I bottlenecked by that 2GB of vram at this point?

soo i have a question wich gpu would i be better of with ? Gtx660 (ti) or Gtx750 (ti) i watched some videos where gtx660 is deffinately better but in some cases mostly newer games (i guess) gtx750 takes the lead. i wont be playing a lot of games on it mostly Assassin's Creed series, GTA V and some shooters like Cod and BF. what's your experience with the card and which one would you suggest more... P.S i'm building a new budget pc witch socket 1155, with 8gb ddr3 ram and probobly i3 2240 (also i currently have gtx 460 v2 1gb) so what's your thoughts on it and what other alternative would you suggest for best budget price ? thank you

I am using display port for output from graphics card and it is properly locked in my monitor and 750TI.I have downloaded the latest drivers from Zotac website, but it wont install saying compatible hardware not detected. Hello guys My graphics card suddenly got sorted when the PC was running. After that if i turn on ... power comes and goes off within a second, then I removed graphics card the PC booted fine. Also I have checked the PCB of the graphics card but I don't see any signs damage on it ...anyways I have attached few photo of the graphics card. If anyone knows how to fix the graphics card either by soldering or replacing chip on PCB of the graphics card also I don't how to check a chip on PCB of the graphics card whether it's working properly or not ...?? Also I'm not interested in baking or reballing the graphics card cause we don't have any kinda repair shop around here to fix in that method I have attached some pics of the graphics card if you guys wanna take a look at it.... Some may say to buy new one but I'm not in a state to buy a new graphics card right now, so that's why I'm trying to fix it ..... So please let me know if you know anything guys ???

Hi All, I Currently have a "El Cheapo" computer, which is actually a Lenovo ThinkCentre M58e 7298-C7U with added components (Spec List Below) and I would like to know a suitable upgrade path as I feel the graphics Card is currently holding the system back. CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q9650 (4x 3.00GHz) GPU: EVGA Gefore GTX 750Ti For The Win Edition RAM: 4GB DDR2 800MHz (Generic Crap From eBay) PSU: Corsair eXtreme Power 500W MOBO: Stock Motherboard CASE: Stock Case CD/DVD: Stock SSD: 128GB ADATA SP600 HDD: 1TB Western Digital Blue And also A USB Keyboard, Mouse, Turtle Beach X12 Headset, and Two Monitors (Seen Below This) Main Monitor: HP w1907 (Running at 1400x900 with a HDMI to DVI Cable with HDMI Plugged Into GPU and DVI Plugged Into Monitor Secondary Monitor: Generic Dell Monitor Running With EVGA DVI to VGA Adapter and Generic VGA Cable. I currently want to be able to run games better on the main monitor without lag at above 60FPS (Settings Don't Matter, Only Max Res Does. I'm used to playing consoles so I don't really care about graphics. Thanks, waynedud3

So, for my birthday this year, my boyfriend bought me a newer gpu, the same one he runs in sli, the Gigabyte Windforce GTX 750 ti 2XOC. I am somewhat familiar with MSI Afterburner but my last card, GT730 had locked voltage so I could get very far. I've tried to do everything I can(within reason) to make my pc durable for experimental overclocking. I choose the 750 ti because it was cheap, so if something happens im out $60 than that $140-$200 if I used the 900 series, and I was able to get the best possible version of that card with the radiator, all tantulum capacitors, and big dual fans. To power this card, I went with the Thermal Take Smart 650watt Bronze since it will be most efficient at the 50% mark around were my system sits. The final factor I guess is air flow which I'm a little less prepared for, I'm still in the free stock case I built my pc in and it has two rear mounted blowing fans. So, is there anything else I'm missing in this calculation to help ensure my pc is safe while ocing? Please let me know down in the comment section, Thanks!

I don't want to update my driver because Black ops 3 works the best with this driver Edit: fixed it by reinstalling windows

sufficient power? If my prebuilt can handle a gtx750TI
zombiewainam posted a topic in Power Supplies
Hello, I was wondering if I could get any help with my problem. I have a prebuilt computer with a Nvidia geforce630, it has been very usefull for a lot of years but the gpu isn't powerfull enough to run games the way I like. I was thinking to upgrade it with a gtx750ti. I wanted to ask if my power supply is ready to handle that much load? system specs cpu: Core I5 3470 gpu: Nvidia GeForce gt630 OEM Memory: 6GB of some random cheap memory Motherboard: Packard Bell -model: Imedia L4870 Psu: Look in the attached file(photo) -
Hello people , i own a GTX 750ti 2gb model from Afox ( with 368.22 latest Nvidia Drivers ) , i tried overclocking the card with MSI Afterburner 4.2.0 , i tested the card as i overclocked it with MSI Kombustor ( the test was the : Tesselated spheres X64 , at 1280x720 resolution , and Antialiasing at 8XMSAA ) , i was getting a nice overclock and managed to oc the core clock at +250 , and the memory at +200 , all things seemed ok as the benchmarks were stable and i was gaining a good fps increase ( 17 % more perfomance to be specific ) , the gpu was ok at the clocks i had set and its max temperature was 67C at the benchmark , BUT when i tried running ANY game the screen would go black , the gpu would restart it would have its stock clocks, and Windows would show me that the driver stopped responding and that it was recovered !! It seems very strange to me that it runs perfectly at benchmarks but in any game i try to run as soon as the game starts to show 3d things the card resets ( at menus of the games the card runs but sometimes menus seems a bit strange , for example some shapes arent there ) .Also, applying the slightest OC at either the core or memory , still makes my gpu reboot at all games ( the card also doesnt require connection to the psu it drains power from the motherboard , i dont know if this has something to do with the problem ) . Thanks for your help ( sry i couldnt use pc part picker as it couldnt find my card ).

Hey, guys! this is my first topic on this. Because I have money now, I'm planning to upgrade my PC build because I'm starting to see some lag on new games, also, this summer I would be doing a lot of video editing and photoshop with friends this summer, so I need a computer that would last me around 5/6 years. My current build is an Athlon X4 860K, GTX 750Ti, 8GB RAM with 500W PSU (its my first ever build, I was on a tight budget). I'm considering doing an intel build with an i7 6700k (not planning to overclock yet) Asus z170 a, 16gb ram along with an AIO cooler which all totals to £520 = $747 USD this is the cost I want to spend at the moment. With my build, I want the new GTX 1070 if it gets good reviews in the future. What do you guys think I should buy first? the CPU and motherboard or the Graphics card and the PSU when it comes out. If I buy the gtx 1070 first, along with a beefier PSU , then I would have to put that on my current build which would bottleneck the hell out of the GPU. If I bought the CPU and motherboard and ram, I would have to put my old GTX 750ti on that, either way, I know I'm going to get a huge bottleneck but at least they are temporary, so what do you guys think I should buy first? Or do you guys have any other suggestion? thanks guys!
