Hello everyone, since yesterday when I try power up my pc , it gives that boot sound soo late and won't when show bios or any motherboard screen (eg:gigabyte logo) and the pc would just be stuck on that black screen forever. The pc used to work just fine before all this suddenly happened. When I remove the graphics card from mobo , the pc works completely fine and boots up properly with windows logo . Things I have already tried: Checking Ram Checking monitor Unplugging all usb and booting (nothing happens, same issue ) Anyone have any idea why this happened?

Hello, I am running a ryzen 5 5600x with a msi 1050ti, and am getting constant lag spikes. Neither of them are overclocked at all. My os is Windows 11 21H2 64bit of course. My psu is a seasonic FOCUS PX-750 running at 750W. My motherboard is a gigabyte b550 gaming x (v.1 i think) bios version F14e. Haven't messed with any bios settings besides xmp. I also have 32gb of teamgroup t-force vulcan z ddr4 which is at 3200mhz, xmp is on didn't make a custom profile or anything just used the default one in the bios. I noticed this happening in DOOM 2016 and payday 2. It doesn't happen in league of legends though, haven't tried any other games. Here is a screenshot of doom showing the lagspike, it happens anywhere in the game even the menus. I also wasn't perfect at timing it but it seems its happening every 6 seconds.

So i recently build my own pc and the 1050ti gpu that I bought was second hand one and the hdmi and display port was broken so i had to use the dvi port, but my monitor didn't have a dvi port (only vga and 2 hdmi) so i decided to connect it using a dvi-d to hdmi converter but the monitor shows "cable not connected", so i though that the converter was broken and bought a dvi to hdmi cable and it also shows "cable not connected". Does someone know what is the problem (is it the cable type or monitor or gpu), i really need this pc for work and college because my old laptop can't run the necessary software that i need (edit : it's not a converter it's a adapter, i mixed it up thinking it was the same thing)

This is my first ever desktop pc that I purchased a few weeks ago. Its a Dell Optiplex 9020, i5 4590 (turbo boost locked at 3.5ghz) 16gb ram 16000, nvidia gtx 1050ti 4gb OC edition with some aggressive ( on the memory clock side) msi after burner settings. Now did I win the silicon lottery? I'm getting 55fps on gta 5 at ultra settings at 1440p on a 144hz monitor. The game plays incredible with no hitches. My performance is 59% cpu and 55% gpu usage. Give or take once in a few frames cpu will jump or gpu vice versa I was looking at upgrading my psu and getting a radeon 580 or 590 but all the benchmarks I've seen on 1080p reviews show about 65 to 70 fps on Gta 5 and these system are a lot more modern than mine. I hope I struck gold because I rather not spend anything on a dell optiplex lol

Hello, I currently have a GT710 running inside a HP 6200 Pro SFF machine. It can cut a 1080i timeline fine for about 8 minutes of video, but anything more than that, and Resolve throws a GPU memory full error. I'd like to upgrade to a 1050TI ideally, as it has 4gb VRAM, which I presume should be more than enough for me. I've done some research, and found some annecdotal evidence of people successfully getting this to work, a lot of them say it went very well. However, I have 2 limitations. The recomended PSU for that card is 300W - I have 240 - but seen as it pulls solely from PCIe, I'd guess that my board can supply enough power to run it (maybe I'm wrong there?). If I needed to upgrade the PSU, there is no way of doing it as HP used a wierd non-standard one for this machine that is only available in 240w versions I believe. I don't do any gaming whatsoever, so any gaming performance doesn't matter to me. Another thought I'd had was potentially a 1030. I know somone with the same machine, who runs a 1030 2GB absolutely fine, but I want to make this my last GPU upgrade for a while, and I don't know if it'd meet all of my requirements. Any help/similar stories would be appreciated. Thanks.

So I have a gtx 1050ti but it only has one hdmi port, and I would like to connect another hdmi monitor. Since my cpu hasn't an integrated gpu but my motherboard admits that type of cpu (it has a physical hdmi port), could be possible to send any signal from the Graphic card to the motherboard to put another monitor? (something like https://youtu.be/TY4s35uULg4?t=261) For more info, my motherboard is an Asus Prime B350-plus

I'm not an enthusiast but I like to keep an eye on my system. while doing the valley benchmark, my Msi 1050ti oc, small single fan design, got up to 1961Mhz on the core clock and 3500Mhz memory. Nvidia says 1392 MHz is the boost and google says 1700Mhz with GPUBoost 3.0, so how am I getting 200Mhz extra without a 6 pin or fancy cooler? I'm hitting the 75w power limit which I guess is stopping it from going higher, Should I be help about this or is it to be expected? 1392 MHz

I am really exhausted on how many available models or brands in the market right now on the GTX1050Ti GPU to choose from to put in in my pre-built system which doesn't have a PCI-E 1x6pin connector on the power supply. Please help me make the right decision once in for all which is the best GPU in terms of price to performance. thanks

[HELP] Not sure if mobo problem or GPU one
Jamarcus posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I recently bought a Gigabyte's GTX 1050 ti to replace my GTX 630. Unfortunately when I inserted it on my PC it just showed 1 frame of grey screen with random colored pixel for half a second then there's no display. It never showed the BIOS or anything. I looked up online and learned that I need to update my BIOS. Now the problem is that when I initiated the update the ME firmware failed so I had to look for it. Later on I found the ME firmware update for my BIOS but it said "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software." I tried to find a solution for this minimum requirement but no luck. It's a dead end NOW my question is... 1. Did I bought a faulty GPU card? 2. Do I need to buy a new Motherboard so that I can use my new GPU? 3. Do you guys know another solution? My specs Intel i7 3770 Intel Mobo DH77EB 12GB DDR3 Ram 1TB HDD GTX 630 -
Hi, I have trouble with my old Pc. It sometimes freezes for no apparent reason. These are my specs: Asrock 970 EXTREME3 R2.0 AMD FD8350 12GB ram GTX1050 Ti The problem already occured when I used this as my main computer. Now I'm using it as my secondary PC and all that's left from the old parts are CPU, RAM and the motherboard. It still has the same issues. I've already tested using different RAM bars - no difference. I assume that the CPU is the troublemaker here. What AM3+ CPU goes well with a GTX 1050ti? Or did I oversee something and the problem is something completely different? Thanks for your help, Tim

Hey guys looking to spend about a thousand dollars on a laptop after poking around the internet. I'm curious about this computer, https://m.newegg.com/products/9SIA8S15K14291 Eluktronics W650KK1 Gaming Laptop - Intel Pentium G4560 3.5GHz Dual Core Desktop CPU Windows 10 Home 4GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 15.6” Full HD IPS Display 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive 8GB DDR4 RAm. For a gaming laptop is it better to skip the i7 with shower speed in favor of a fast Pentium... Also from what I can tell the1050 ti and the 980m are about the same speed... This is the list of competitive laptops https://m.newegg.com/ProductList?canPowerSearch=True&powerSearchParams={"CategoryId"%3A0%2C"StoreId"%3A0%2C"SubcategoryId"%3A3365}&%3FsubcategoryId=3365&nodeId=167732&storeType=2&NValue=100167732&GPU%2FVPU||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti=||601285496||Power&GPU%2FVPU||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M=||600536648||Power&sortField=PRICE My instinct is for more cores but nothing really takes advantage of extra cores in my workload.. Guys my thousand dollar investment is in your hands

I have a New Ryzen Build and I build it like 15 days ago. I have a AMD RYZEN 1500X with Wraith Spire MSI GTX 1050Ti Gaming X 4G MSI B350M VDH 8GB Hyper X Ram Cooler Master MassWatt Lite 500W WD Blue 1TB 4 Case Fans Corsair Carbide SPEC 02 Case It worked great for like 10 days and after that it suddenly started to shut off randomly, sometimes it shuts off at the start and sometimes it shuts off when I boot in to Windows and idle for a while. My Temp are : CPU - 45°C idle & MOBO 36°C idle ( Temps checked in BIOS. I have done no overclocking at all and my room temp are fairly good. I think it's a PSU failure or overheating issue. BTW sometime when my PC shuts off my Mouse & keyboard lights start to twich or flash for a while and it looks like that some one is plugging the in and out rapidly. My PC boots into Windows perfectly but doesn't last long as it shuts off in a while. I tried to unplug and plug back cables but it didn't work. I tried reapplying Thermal Paste but that also did not work. I Reinstalled the GPU and RAM but that also has no effect on the situation.

Hello everyone, I'm planning on building a computer that's focused not only on gaming but also on web browsing, Office apps, and so on. My budget is around 700€ (around 815$ USD) and I'm getting the parts from Portuguese stores since it's where I live in. Here's what I've come around with: Processor: i5-7500 Quad-core 3.4GHz w/ Turbo 3.8GHz 6MB Skt1151 (199,90€) Graphics card: MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GT OC (169,90€) RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 4GB (1x4GB) DDR4-2400MHz CL14 (41,90€) + Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4-2400MHz CL16 (77,90€) Motherboard: Gigabyte B250M-DS3H (75,90€) Case: Micro-ATX Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3 w/ black window (59,90€) PSU: Corsair CX550M Semi Modular (77,90€) SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 120GB The total price of this is 703,30€ I'm wondering if I'm choosing the right graphics card and if it's worth paying an extra 40/50€ for the GTX 1060 3GB... Btw, I'm planning on running a 1080p monitor via HDMI and a 1440x900 monitor via VGA (I have a DVI to VGA adapter laying around). Also, I already have the SSD so that's off the shopping list, and I don't really care about optical drives so I took that off the list to drop a little bit the price. What do you guys think? Should I change something? Is the motherboard and the case a good choice? (I'm aiming for micro-ATX cases since I don't want a gigantic PC)
