gtx 780ti I Don't Know if My 500W PSU Will Power A GTX 780TI

I just bought a GTX 780TI GHZ Edition that I will be setting up soon. I want to put it in my current setup. However, my computer only has a Corsair 500W 80+ Bronze PSU, and I am running a AMD FX-8350. I'm worried that my PSU either won't be able to power both at the same time, or may get overloaded and pop. I can't find a solid answer online. Should I buy a 600W or run the risk, if there is one? -

itx case What Is a ITX Case That Support Up To a 310mm GPU?

I was thinking about buying a new motherboard and PC case. I like the idea of building an ITX system because I like to visit my family downstate and taking a micro or full sized ATX PC around would be too cumbersome. The only problem is that I need to find an ITX case that would support my 310mm GTX 780TI. What would be your recommendation for a case? -
I'm going to be building a ITX pc case and to fit a full sized GPU in it I will need to use a riser cable. I have a gtx 780ti which is a pcie 3.0 card, but my motherboard is pci 4.0. I know that 3.0 cards can be used in 4.0 slot no problem, but I don't if a 3.0 riser is. Would a pcie 3.0 riser plugged into a pcie 4.0 slot worked, or do I need to buy a more expensive 4.0 riser?

I have a GTX 780TI WINDFORCE edition in my PC. It has a three fan style cooling solution. I always assumed that three fan blowers were inherently quiet because they have so much cooling, but when getting over 65° Celsius, it starts to get pretty loud. Does anyone know why? Is the 780TI just loud by nature, or could it but something else? Also to clarify, I have MX-4 thermal paste on it and I'm unsure how quality the termal pads are because they were put on by someone else before the card was sold to me.

im looking at a new graphics card and from what i can tell theas are you best options. Radeon HD7950 (no 2 way sli), gtx 690, gtx 780 lightning, gtx 780ti i don't under stand why the gtx 780 lightning and gtx 780ti would be any different. i think i'm going to go with a gtx 780 of some variety, and i don't really like the Radeon HD 7950 because it doesn't have 2 way sli. i thought i would ask you people how are much better at computer things

Hello, I've started playing PUBG and I found that my R7 250X can't handle it very well. (50 fps with everything on very low, some config settings and max OC on GPU - massive FPS drops - 5-10 fps when I jump from plane) Now I don't have money for a new video card so I want to buy an used one. My options are GTX 690 (as far as I know, this one should be the best because is basically 2x 680), GTX 780TI and GTX 970. Cheapest one that I can find is GTX 690 (almost 50% lower than the rest) then GTX 970 and after that 780TI. What should I chose for an upgrade? I recently bought a gtx 780 lightning and a gtx 780ti founders edition. Neither of which will post no matter what I have tried, i have an i7 4770k an Asus sabertooth z78 and 16gb of ram and my build will post with the igpu on the i7 but not with the graphics cards I just want to know whether I should just chuck them -
My friend gave me his asus gtx780ti with a nxt cracken on it to replace my gtx 780. It's not a giant upgrade, but it's free. the only problem is that since the original fan shroud melted itself (no joke) the cracken water cooler is all I can use, but I don't have enough fan headers in my external GPU box to drive it (oh yeah, forgot to mention that I'm running all of this in my akitio node eGPU box for my spectre x360 laptop). Since the only fan header in the akitio node is a 2 pin header, and I'm now going to be asking it to run the radiator fan, the VRM fan, and the pump, I figured it would be better to figure out the fan pinouts on the motherboard and use those instead, if I can. The original cooler had two fans on it, so asking it to run the radiator and VRM fans shouldn't be too much, and then I can connect the pump to the 2pin gpu box header. So does anyone know the pinouts? I've tried google searching it but all I get is ads and links to places that sell graphics cards. Here's a picture to help

Hi guys (and women) Current system: Graphics card GTX 660 gigabyte oc CPU I5 4440 PSU MS-Tech MS-N750-VAL 750W Just a question. Recently I have got a gtx 780ti and want to put it in my system. My current graphics card has a TDP of 140W (1x6pin) and the GTX 780TI of 260W (2x8pin). From my PSU I have a 6 + 2 pin connector (8pin). I want to convert from 2 molex 4pin to one 8 pin adapter.Is this right? My opinion is that if my PSU is good enough I don't need to convert from molex to 8pin. It should had them in the first place. And yeah I know that the converter cable only has 3 pins on the molex side. (1x12V+ 2xGND). Photo of PSU has been inserted. Thnx for help.

hello! PC: AMD A10 7860k GA-F2A68HM-DS2 BEQUIET! Pure Power 10 500W Ram: Kingston 8gb OLD GPU is ZOTAC GT 730 so recently i procured a GTX 780ti Reference Card (was previously running a water block, currently is running the reference cooler) the problem at hand is when i connected the dvi to the monitor there is no post/no display signal i have gone trough most of the troubleshooting methods such as i used DDU on to clean both amd and nvidia drivers i tried disabling the intergrated which is the R7 and there were no boot when i connected onto both motherboard and graphics card im really confused as the problem started when i was installing the Nvidia Driver (didnt succeed) it stopped at failed to install cause it couldnt detect the compatible hardware i tried the method to copy the hardware id but it is not popping up in the device manager. the only thing popping up in the device manager is a standard vga adapter but it has the hardware id of my radeon R7 APU integrated (this was quite rushed looking for help!) on a side note everything clicked in place the power cable Vga1 (8 pin) and then the vga2 (6 pin) Fans Spin and the lighting on the cooler was glowing -
Hi everyone, I am thinking of repairing a 780Ti graphics card that has been having a hard time and I would like some pointers. Looking at the pictures we can see that 2 of the 5 milliohms resistors have been destroyed and a component labeled R68 (which at this point I don't even know what it is). A capacitor on the bottom (or top depending on how you look at it) of the graphics card is also destroyed (completely gone even). My question to you guys is if you think the graphics card would work if I replaced them? This is of course a question that is aimed toward the engineers among us and or most tech savvy people.

So, I finally managed to update my system from 775 to 1366. the CPU I have is the X5650, cooled by a Coolermaster seideon 120m. Now i think i am facing a GPU bottleneck. ( Currently Gtx 680) I thought of a 780 ti, but those are selling used down here in Germany for around 200 €, R9 290x Cards, on the other hand, are selling for around 150 € with a good cooler. What Gpu should i get? (price to performance in mind) What would be the best Card this Cpu could handle? Thanks for your answers

I recently bought a used 780ti on ebay, but every time that i turn on my pc the fans spin at 48% and they don't want to slow down even in msi afterburner. How can i slow down that fans?

Hi I am thinking of upgrading my gpu, my current gpu is a hd 5870 so I'm wondering what i should upgrade to. I'm planing to go triple 1080p monitors very soon my budget is decently high for the gpu, I can spend about $320us. I play fairly demanding games like dirt rally and project cars so it needs to handle those games on at least high settings. i cant do sli either. Will my i3 2100 bottleneck the card as well? Thanks for any help you can give

I recently thought of getting a used graphics card for my system. I found an EVGA GTX 780Ti for 250 dollars on craigslist (Canada). I went to my local PC hardware store and found they had an EVGA GTX 970 open box for 275 CAD. Which one should I buy?? I plan to keep using my PC for around 3 years, with some light overclocking.

Well... I bought a GTX 780TI Classified KINGPIN 3 weeks ago...when the card arrived, I decided to overclock it, and see how far KINGPIN goes... but I was disappointed with the results... STOCK: 1200MHz -- 1.175v = normal Overclock: 1250MHz -- 1.175v = artifacts Overclock (with overvolt): 1250MHz -- 1.250v = artifacts too... I even contact EVGA and re-write the BIOS (Original BIOS) I dont know what is wrong, but thar is VERY strange... someone had the same problem, or can help me?

Currently I am saving up for a second QNIX UHD2800 to have a dual 4K setup. I might even go triple monitor later. My question is though can a single GTX 780Ti support two 4K Monitors at once? I obviously don't plan to run games like this but I just wander if it will work on the desktop. I also don't really care if I need to buy a displayport hub or daisy-chain my setup, as that doesn't really cost much money. Something else I would like to note is that the maximum resolution listed on Nvidia's site is incorrect as I currently have one 4K Monitor and a 1080p Monitor which make for a 5760x2160 resolution, Higher than Nvidia's listed 4096x2160. I also tried using DSR to run my second 1080p screen in 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 alongside my main monitor. This didn't work as both screens glithced out. Though because this is DSR and not the native resolution, I have no idea if this is a indicator that it would or wouldn't work. Lastly, If you all think it is a good idea, I can bring out another 1680x1050 monitor that I have laying around to see if DSR is a limit or not. Thanks everyone! -
I need to reserve this one really quick guys. So as is stated in the title. The GTX 780 Ti costs about $350 here, and the GTX 780 is cheaper by about $90, it costs $260. Which one would be better to get? My budget literally is about $250. $350 is really pushing it, but is it worth it? My original contender for $250 is the R9 380. THE SALES :blink: , THE STRESS :wacko:

HEY guys i have a gtx 750 ti and a core I5 2320 3 ghz someone is selling 2 msi gtx 780ti for 1500 dkk / 230 us bucks each is it worth it ? he says they are a litttle over a year old i am thinking that meaby I should pick one up but not sure yet keep in mind that in denmark a gtx 960 2 gb new cost 1500 dkk= 230 bucks as well so i think that it is a good deal what do you guys think I just want to know if it is a good deal or if i should wait for black friday ?

So in my current position I can go for either one GTX780ti 3gb or 2x gtx770 4gb cards. Now my main question is what route should I take, I will be running 1080p for a while but I plan to have 3x 1080p monitors in 21:9 aspect(I will upgrade PC with another card) Games I focus on are: Titanfall BF4 Fallout 4(when to be released) and arma 3 Now out of my two choices which will be far superior in arma 3 as I know arma is notorious for its poor compatibility of sli which leaves me to think the gtx780ti would be best but 2x gtx770s have an overall better performance. If this is confusing and you cant understand stand me. just guess lol

Hey guys, I am searching for a way to turn off the fans in idle on my gtx 780ti from ASUS. Unfortunately it is not possible to turn the fans down to less than 40% through costume fan curves. Neither the MSI Afterburner nor GPU Tweak worked. I have heard that it is possible to change fan settings within the gpu bios. But I am not very experienced with this type of things, so I am afraid to kill that gpu, since it has no dual bios. Actually the 780ti isn't loud in idle at all, but I would love my PC to be dead silent. Does anyone know a way to change the fan profile of the gpu? Is there any software based way?
