Hi guys,i currently have a budget pc i installed with used components except the psu the build is : i5 4590 (stock cooler) z87-k mobo 8gb ram 500gb hdd cx450m psu intel hd 4600 and a cheap old antec sonata case with a 120mm exhaust fan at the back. i was thinking that i should get a cheap dedicated gpu even though i'm low on budget so what i found was a used gtx 570 or used gtx 560 ti or hd 7750. or i could just keep using integrated graphics until i have enough money for something better(going to be a long time). so i was hoping to get some advice on this 1.should i get those used gpus or keep using the integrated one? 2.is the cx450m enough for the gtx 570 ? 3.And if i use the igpu for some older games with lowered settings would i need a better cpu cooler to not fry the cpu?

I am using a gtx 570 in my system, that i bought shortly after it came out. I don't do much gaming at all its not really my thing. my current card uses a fair amount of power and is loud. I want to upgrade for a quieter more power efficient card, with a little gain in performance. Not bound to a particular side (amd/nvidia) any suggestions on what card to buy ? Thanks

What's the stable Driver for GTX 570, new release drivers wont work properly on me, I always get an error message; "Nvidia Driver Has Stopped Responding and Recovered Successfully" after that error pop up my pc will automaticly turn off or give me the Check Video Cable sign on monitor. I Tried a Couple Stable Drivers said by others like (314.22 / 391.01 / 334.89) and it all gave me the same error.

Hello people, cpu: i7-3770k gpu: evga gtx 570 sc motherboard: asrock z77 E4 Heres my issue. Everyting works fine unless I reboot and then just cause 2 runs at 5fps and youtube even runs with some lag at 1080p@60htz if i reinstall my nvidia driver (372.54) then everything works fine until i reboot again... I'm getting very frustrated. If anyone could help that would be great.

So I personally have been using the GTX 570 for the past couple years, and I still find it kind of relevant and great for gaming. Its much faster than a GTX 650, and runs great with a stock cooler. For $100, do you people think that the it can still keep up in moderate gaming? I've included some specs for you guys to look at, tell me what you think.

Ok, so i'm having some problems with my pc. I recently been having some bad luck with it, and I need to know which part of it is bad before I can fix it. So the problem I have is that, after I play a demanding game, for some reason videos, and certain programs start lagging and stuttering. I know that this is related to using all my power towards the game, instead of the video, however when I close the game completely I still have the same problem. Sometimes the computer becomes unstable, and just crashes, shuts off, or stops responding for some time, and then just freezes. Most of these are without warning and are very unexpected and not wanted. There are times where it gets so stuck, that pressing the power buttons doesn't work, and I need to use the mother board reset button. Now there is a lot more to this than meets the eye. There are times that I don't do anything demanding on my computer, like watching YouTube while doing work. The computer will just shut off, or freeze without warning, No lag, no stuttering, nothing. Something i find strange about this is that when I turn back on my computer sometimes it will freeze during boot, and i will need to reset. There are times where im playing something on flash, and the computer will just shutoff right away, reboot by itself unsuccessfully, and i will need to reset the computer 1-2 times before it goes back to normal. Rarely it will give me a blue screen with a "whea_uncorrectable_error ", and sometimes it will boot normally again. Now that you know those to main problems, here it the biggest one of them all. I recently replaced my PNY GTX 650 GPU, with a EVGA GTX 570 GPU simply because it actually performed better, and allowed multiple monitors. I never had any major problems with the computer before except it crashing when I played games for a long time which is most likely because of overheating, since I have a liquid cooler now. After I switched Gpu's I started noticing that videos tended to stutter and lag. I figured out that this is a common problem with the GTX 570, and that many people from the day it came out where having this problem, but nobody mentioned that the GPU would stutter after playing games or crash while doing nothing demanding. So does anyone know what may be causing this? I dint have this lag when I originally got this GPU until about 2 weeks later. So that leads me to think that I may be the GPU or not but i would like to know what i happening first before i go around replacing things, and reinstalling windows. I'm not sure if it windows that is having the problem, or my hardware, I try not to reinstall windows since I need to use my computer most of the time and don't want to reinstall everything. My rig is a custom built PC with an: AMD FX 8350 16GB ram 2TB of stoage GTX 570 and GTX 650 (as dedicated physx) 750W PSU and no overheating problems. So I am in the process of putting together a new computer. I am on a budget and I saw that GTX 570 aren't too bad of a card, they only lack in vRAM. I don't mind turning down settings for it to fit within the 1280Mb limit. I just wanted to know if it would be capable of running more modern games such as Fallout 4 or Blackops 3. I have found one for about £20 and up to £50. Is it worth it? The computer parts will be taken from other computers so I only have CPU and RAM as of yet. CPU: i5 4460 RAM: 8GB

Hello everyone, I have a Asus motherboard ( AM1I-A) -> https://www.asus.com/ch-fr/Motherboards/AM1IA/ and a AMD Athlon 5350 and i would like to do some gaming but not to heavy because i plan on building a whole other gaming system later. The motherboard only has a pcie 2.0 4x slot and i was wondering if it would bottle neck a gtx 570, and if so should i considering changing ? Hello linustechtips forum, I've got a problem: Played cs:go yesterday then my monitor wen't all black (I still heard the teamspeak sound for ~30seconds after that), then my PC crashed and won't boot windows anymore. I tried using the problem solving method of windows 10 but it didn't work. cleaned up my SSD and freshly installed windows 7. Now when I want to install my graphicsdriver (from DVD or downloaded the newest one from the nVidia site) the PC won't restart windows after the forced restart. If I look at 'dxdiag' it only says 'standard-vga-graphicscard' with a resolution of 1280*1024. Now I have the question can I do more than that or did my graphicscard just die and I need a new one. What graphicscard would you recommend (Germany ~200€) Specifications: i5-3570k ASrock z77-pro3 nVidia gtx-570 (no fancy MSI or smth.) PS: Silverstone 500W PSU 8GB Kingston DDR-3 Samsung SSD 840 Pro WD 1000GB Harddrive English is not my main language, I'm sorry if it is not understandable.

So I've been toying with the idea of grabbing one of those Seiki 39" 4k tvs, but I'm not sure my video card can output 4k. I have a GTX 570 Classified, which does have an HDMI 1.4a port. Should I also start budgeting for a newer video card as well? EDIT: Definitely should've added this would NOT be a gaming set up. It would simply be used as a higher resolution display for multitasking / programming.

how much overclock did you manage on your gtx 570? i got 910/2000 on 1.0v(stock voltage for gtx 570 gigabyte soc). it shows 911/2001 in furmark. all stable. i heard that putting the memory clock over 2000 can cause pernament damage to memory chips for gtx 570. is that true?

will my current power supply (antec tp-550) 550W be able to power a gigabyte gtx 570 oc? the power supply is 80PLUS BRONZE and has quad rail. it Meets manufacturers' performance specifications it supplies a reliable 45 AMPS of combined power on the 12 rail.. i think its a good quality psu however gigabyte recommends a 600w power supply for this gpu. is gigabyte overstating the amount of power this gpu will need?

Hi, I was wondering what are safe temps for a gtx 570. I have the MSI Twin Frozer one, and I was thinking of setting the fan speed to a constant 40%, or maybe 45%, so it will be very quiet always. I've noticed that the gpu can get quite loud while gaming now that I've silenced other parts of my system. So I go and set the fan speed, and then run Furmark. The GPU temp just keeps climbing and climbing. It reaches 75c and I just stop the test, because I don't want anything to get fried. I know this is probably posted already, but the search function literally does not work. It just goes to some cloudflare page saying "Page not found" and lists other topics that are completely irrelevant with the current search.

I recently upgraded to a 2560x1440 monitor and my GTX 570 is no longer cutting it. I am looking to go with a GTX 770, looking for opinions on if the 4GB version is worth it or not at 1440p.
