I live in a developing country and i want to build a gaming pc on a tight budget. I've chosen i3-12100F with ASUS Prime H610M - E D4. My GPU options are GTX 1650, RX 6500 XT and RX 580. All are under my budget but I'm confused if i should go with a PCI Express Gen 4 card with 4GB VRAM since my CPU is 12th gen or go with the RX 580 which has 8GB VRAM but PCI Express Gen 3. I will be gaming on 1080p only. Pls do not recommend buying a used GTX 1080 or similar because there are almost no options on the used market here and its very risky. Also I'd like to know the required wattage for my PSU. Newbie PC builder here so not really sure how to choose wattage for PSU. Help is appreciated :)

Budget (including currency): £700 ($960.83) Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, Planet Coaster, FL Studio, War Thunder, Need For Speed, etc. Also will be used for VR if I manage to get my hands on a headset. Other details: I am upgrading from an old Intel Pentium HP laptop which has no real graphics card and 4gb of RAM. If possible I would like to go down from what I have in the list in price while still maintaining a PC at this sort of decency but if it's not possible then this sort of price will do. I'm still pretty new to tech. I have the basic understanding but if you could be extra clear then that would be appreciated. I am not looking to buy in the next couple of months. I would just like to get an idea of what to get first. I would like to run most games at at least 60 fps. I haven't checked user benchmark yet so I don't know what sort of fps it will have but that will influence the monitor I will be getting (whether it is 70 hertz or 144). I recently purchased and old dell optiplex 7010 that had a reg sized Zotac Gaming GeForce gtx1650 OC in it. It was on a riser cable and just laid in the case. Was dirty as hell but got it cleaned up and the card does work so I was planing on using it in another system For my son but when I went to put it in I noticed the i/o bracket was missing. I’ve searched online/eBay and went to just about every computer shop in my area looking for one that would work but can’t find anything. I’ve even looked for someone selling a bad 1650 that I could salvage but haven’t had any luck. Do any of y’all know where I might be able to find a bracket or someone have a bad card they’d be willing to sell for pretty cheap? My last resort is maybe but one and just cut some holes in it myself to match the i/o layout but I’d rather not do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So my friends GPU ( as listed above ) isn't displaying any output, just a black screen. Now he isn't a computer wizard like me an can't describe too much of the issue to me. So I need your help people of the internet! Q1. IS this a hardware related problem? As he did say that this had been happening since he got this PC over 9 months ago. Q2. Driver related issue that can be fixed by any means? Q3.A windows related issue that could cause this Q4.Other? If you have any experience with this type of card, please let me know if you have this is happened before!

Hey there, I’m helping my friend build a PC, and I want to know what is a better value and what is more powerful. This ASUS GTX 1650 on Newegg for $239: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126321&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=AFC-RAN-COM&cm_mmc=AFC-RAN-COM&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_source=afc-PCPartPicker&AFFID=2558510&AFFNAME=PCPartPicker&ACRID=1&ASUBID=&ASID=https%3A%2F%2Fpcpartpicker.com%2F&ranMID=44583&ranEAID=2558510&ranSiteID=8BacdVP0GFs-cwBWnWQIuPT9HbU7j5Wf0A Or this ASRock RX 6500 XT: https://www.newegg.com/asrock-radeon-rx-6500-xt-rx6500xt-pgd-4go/p/N82E16814930067?Item=N82E16814930067&nm_mc=AFC-RAN-COM&cm_mmc=AFC-RAN-COM&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_source=afc-PCPartPicker&AFFID=2558510&AFFNAME=PCPartPicker&ACRID=1&ASID=https%3a%2f%2fpcpartpicker.com%2f&ranMID=44583&ranEAID=2558510&ranSiteID=8BacdVP0GFs-Xha5zThtAAe5jMONE6j5iQ The things I want to know is 1, what is better value. 2, what is better performance. And 3, what has a better lifespan of “being relevant.”

I updated to the latest version of Windows 10 recently and all is well until not long after the system started becoming slow. The previous thread I started seemed to have solved, however games still perform like trash despite the system itself not being slow. I tried installing newer drivers, then rolling back, then uninstalling it using DDU and then installing the driver again, then uninstalling it once more and opting to get a driver from Windows Update. All of which proved futile. No matter which drivers I use, no matter if I install them clean or not, it still runs like crap. Please help me. Hi everyone, Looking for some help here understanding why my GPU is working sooo poorly. Screenshots from Novabench attached. While not being an incredible machine, my laptop has quite fine specs: Dell Inspiron 7501 Intel i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s) 24 GB ram 512 GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 - 4GB I am not a gamer so I never really cared about GPU power but I wanted to start doing some video editing and animation for work and noticed Adobe softwares were quite laggy, so I did a benchmark and here are the results: Why do you think this is happening? Everything in the Nvidia control panel is set to be best performance, I have the drivers up to date. I would understand if I was underperforming slightly or even be in the lower end of the spectrum, but this much I don't get. Can anyone guide me in the right direction? Many thanks! Peace!

I've suddenly started having strange graphics glitches when playing certain games (CS-GO and KSP). Screenshots attached below. I first noticed the problem when I woke the computer up from sleep-mode after I was gaming on it fine the night before. Note: It's a fairly new system. I built it a couple months ago with new parts from Microcenter, no notable issues until now. My System: GTX-1650 5950x 128GB ram ROG X570 Pro-WIFI (yes I know it's unbalanced, I need the CPU/Ram for my research work and nice GPU's are too expensive rn) Running Ubuntu 20.04 What I've tried to resolve the issue. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Nvidia drivers. apt-get remove --purge libnvidia-* apt-get remove --purge nvidia-* I've tried the following driver versions nvidia-driver-470 nvidia-driver-460 nvidia-driver-495 Nouveau open source drivers Nothing seems to resolve the issue with CS-GO. At some point along the way KSP suddenly started working fine again. I've tried CS-Source and Portal 2, both have been working fine. I've not noticed any other problems. My desktop environment is working fine, and the system appears to be otherwise stable. I've deleted and reinstalled CS-GO with each driver version (deleted the shader cache and the game folder under steamapps/common/) , the problem persists. At this point I've run out of things to try. I'm starting to suspect that it could be a physical failure. However, I have no idea how I would diagnose that, the temps seem fine 28C at idle 54C when playing glitched CS-GO. How would I diagnose it if it is a physical problem? Everything except CS-GO is now working fine, could it be an Open-GL library problem? How would I check that? Any advice would be appreciated. Blood is blue ?! In KSP the emblems of the planets are supposed to sit on the orbit paths, but they don't. The more I scrolled around the worse the misalignment got.

Hi, i've got a gigabyte windforce gtx 1650 oc 4G i recently bought, i want to use it with the external graphics card adapter for laptop( EXP GDC V8.0) through mini pci-e. I power the pci-e slot of the adapter with a 275w DELL 80+ gold PSU ( 1x 24 pin ; 4x SATA ; 1x 4 pin) . I wondered if i could use my gtx 1650 that has a 6-pin connector without plugging it to 6-pin (since the gtx 1650 is a low powered turing card) ? And if not, how could i plug a 6-pin connector despite my PSU not having one ?

Hello, Can I use the first party 90W charger from dell to charge the Dell XPS 15 9500 with i7-10750H and GTX 1650 Ti graphics? My work load involves coding with VS Code, MATLAB, Virtual Machine usage and regular stuff like browsing, documenting, video streaming etc. Would be very helpful if someone could answer the question as I need to buy the charger ASAP

Im new to this forum, I dont know whether im right or wrong and im not a tech guy.. My laptop specification is; Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43 AMD Ryzen 5 3550H Processor (Vega 8 Graphics) Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Graphics 8GB RAM I bought this laptop on October 2020. Before playing games, I already configured the settings in Nvidia Control Panel and also in Windows Graphics Settings to use GTX 1650 in high performance. If I start to play Valorant(other games too), I'll get 100 fps but after sometimes it will drop to 20 fps and even lesser to 4 fps at CPU temp at 96 C; GPU temp at 70 C. I never ran any other programs while playing. I came to know that, in Task Manager it is showing "GPU 0: Nvidia GTX and GPU 1: AMD Radeon". Is there a way to change? Ive also tried changing the global settings in high-performance Nvidia processor and also changed in program settings to high performance. Is there a way to put my dedicated GPU to GPU 1? and how to get stable fps? Or is it okay to keep as it is? Is there a way, so i can play better... In YouTube videos benchmarks, i can see that their laptop temp just stays at 86C with stable fps... And also you can see that my laptop is only using 6GB RAM, where i got 8GB installed. Is there a way to make my laptop to use 8 GB of RAM? Thank you ...

Hello. Recently my old pc which i used for light gaming died. I mainly played esport titles like csgo, league of legends, overwatch and also world of warcraft. Im about to buy this dell prebuilt and planned to add more ram later and also add a graphics card. My question is, this dell system having a 300w power supply can i add a gtx 1650 to it? Will it work? Or even a low profile version of the same graphics card ?

Ok so here is what I got going on. I currently own. Gtx 1650 Low Profile with 4gb of GDDR6 Vram, and I decided to post my card in offerup to see what deals I could get. Then this one guy dmed me and offered me an xfx RX 480 with 8gb of GDDR5 Vram. He also said he would toss in an Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller. Should I take the deal? Does the xfx card get more frames on average than my card? Any help at all is appreciated .

Hi everyone, Recently I saw a GTX 1650 for a good price on Facebook Marketplace and decided to purchase it as a budget GPU; the card works fine as intended with no issues. My lounge PC/HTPC needed a GPU to play light indie games, emulators and some casual games on the TV since it rocks an i5-9400F with 16gb RAM; I thought it was a good deal since they're quite expensive now commercially. Little did I know that the GTX 1650 is looked down upon since the super version exceeds this by quite a lot. The next day, I saw a GTX 1650 super for an extra $25 on top of what I paid; the poster decided to drop the price. I know the super outperforms the GTX 1650 by around 30-40%, which is a big difference and if I'd known this, I would've just gotten the super! This isn't my main gaming PC and I'm unsure what to do with it as I'd like to emulate PS3 games and have the ability to play some AAA titles from time to time while getting good performance. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
