Steve from Gamers Nexus has just reviewed Nvidia's new RTX 4070-Super. In the benchmarks he states that GTA V is still included because it still scales on modern cards. If you ask me, this near-decade old game still being demanding can only mean that GTA VI will probably be one of the most demanding games ever released. With performance on GTA V still this relevant and demanding, I wonder just how low the FPS will go in GTA VI. Im sure even my Radeon RX 7900-XTX will have a hard time pushing triple-digit FPS at my 3440x1440p resolution with a mix of High and Ultra settings. Just something random to think about

Hi, Specs: CPU: intel core i7 13700k GPU: ASUS rog strix 3080ti PSU: Cooler Master V750 SFX Gold Rev.2 MOBO: ASUS rog strix b660-i SSD: samsung nvme 970 I tried playing GTA 5 in this week but i cant get it to run smoothly. It stutters like crazy. I will attach a video to demonstrate the problem. I have so far tried to change around with pretty much all graphics settings to no succes. I have also tried reinstalling but that did not help either. Does anyone else have a similiar problem or any idea how this might be solved? gta 20240114.mp4

Hello, My friend got his issue that he can’t play GTA or RDR for that matter, because apparently his epic games acc is linked to a different social club acc. It worked one year ago – we haven’t played since. The complete error message is: “this epic games account is already linked to a different social club account. Please log in with that social club account instead”. When he then tries to look in again with his social club, it says: log in failed. Log in with email address (which isn’t his email). But if he logs in online to social club, his email address works just fine. Launching GTA straight from the Rockstar Games Launcher isn’t possible either, because he then gets redirected to epic games and then onwards to the same error message. Have any of you encountered that problem and got a solution? I have found some reddit posts, but nothing worked so far. (Apparently the issue got more frequent in the past days) Thanks for any help

Well talk about the biggest tease in gaming history... Me: Hears GTA VI trailer has been uploaded to the official RockStar Gaming YT Channel Me: Goes "Hell Ya, Welcome to a New Era of Gaming People!" Me: Watches the trailer in awe at the insanely good graphics and realism despite the size of the world. Me: Sees "Coming in 2025" at the end of the trailer Me: "F*** You Rockstar" So apparently we have probably about 18 months to go. Well, at least it looks very promising.

So the issue I am having is the GTA V RP server I play on is perfectly fine when I'm not streaming but as soon as I do start streaming it starts to stutter in game and cause my graphics to tank. I play on medium graphics. I stream on OBS and TikTok, I've tried doing one or the other not both and its the same issue. I have a Ryzen 9 5900x CPU, 3070 FTW3 GPU, 64 GBs of RAM 3200 MHZ. I have no other bottle neck other than my internet speeds maybe, being 800 download and 40 upload. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont know how other streamers stream RP without issues. I use 1 pc to play and the other to stream.

I have been experiencing random crashes within gta5 online where the image will suddenly start to stutter and lock up and then it just quits to desktop. No error messages or anything like that. I set up some monitoring graphs on my second monitor to see what shows when the crash occurs again but I didn’t see any obvious spikes anywhere. In gpu-z I did see perfcap reason go to PWR a few times. Temps were around 80 degrees. I have used msi afterburner to look at figures and noticed my clock speed was way above the boost clock listed for my card by nvidia but I’ve since learnt that is normal and does so if the system has good temps and voltage to allow it to go further. Having said that I decided to reduce the clock speed down from 1800mhz approx to what nvidia advertise as boost clock which is 1650mhz. This also bought down temps plus I raised the fan speed to help with cooling too. However I feel like reducing clock speed will lower my frame rate which is already really low at around 30fps. I hope to improve this rate with a few tips I found online. With regards to the PWR on the perfcap I was wondering whether I should increase my power limit. It usually shows 103% in the stats within gpu-z during gameplay so I’m thinking I should raise the power limit inside afterburner and adjust the fan speed to allow for better cooling for the increased heat. So really my question is should I raise my power limit to max and cooling to suit and leave the clock speed lowered or should I let it run at the 1800mhz it chose originally to allow for a better frame rate. Or should I leave power limit alone. These crashes are really annoying and especially so if I’m in the middle of a mission. RTX 2060 6gb FE ASU’s rog x470f gaming motherboard. Ryzen 7 2700x running around the 4ghz mark during gameplay 32gig of ddr4 ram cl16 1080p monitor 60hz dvi connection Game files on ssd Game settings mainly on high and very high but nothing on ultra. sorry for the long and perhaps confusing question. I’m on my work lunch break and rushing the typing.

Hi i would like to know if it's only mine this problem. I think after the last update of gta V (the reduced time of loading), when i'm playing online, Gta is using like 10/11 GB of ram. Is that possibile? there is a way to limit it down? My pc have a Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of ram 2666hz, rx590 8gb.

Summary Representative Marcus Evans Jr. filed a bill (HB3531) that proposes changing the definition of 'violent video games' to: In addition to banning the sale of these 'violent video games' to not just minors but everyone. Quotes My thoughts This is the most boomer 'hrr drr video games bad' thing I've seen in a while... What about movies? If violent games are such a problem are you going to ban violent movies too, hell might as well ban all songs that reference drugs because that's clearly what's causing the drug problem. (obligatory /s) I'd like to see literally any piece of evidence proving that video games like GTA V have "become an issue". I sincerely hope this doesn't pass. The boyfriend picked up a computer this past summer and while everything runs wonderful on it so far. Whenever we try to play GTA V, the FPS plummets to a staggering 1-2 frames while the computer barely seems to break a sweat in trying to resolve it. Everything just sits at around 20% usage. But in benchmark tests easily nets 120-140 fps. The issues only crop up once you're in a vehicle or receiving a phone call, both in single player and online. I've spent the past evening and day troubleshooting various settings and I'm stumped. Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core 32 GB ram at 3000MHz GTX 1660 Super 6gb

Hi! I am having problems accessing Rockstar Games's Social Club website. I can access their support website. But there is no option to send a support ticket there for that. This problem has been going on for months. Sometimes I am able to access the website other times I can't. It's a game of dice to me now. Any assistance would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

OK so I have a 3070 my framerate on Minecraft is 130 fps and on GTA Max is 80-90 kind of low. I may benchmark a couple other things to see if they are low too. Also do my GPU drivers auto install if so I may have been running without drivers installed on my 3070 for a week or two.

When I open gtav, the game decides to open another one in the background using 2gb of ram causing the game to stutter a lot and not get more than 50-40 fps average. If i end it through task manager both of them close. Any solutions? System: Amd fx6300, 8gb ddr3 ram and gtx 1050ti (ik its trash but it used to run gta very smoothly)

Right now on humble bundle GTA V is on sale for $15 USD. I want to get the game but I also want to use mods on it. Does the Rockstar launcher work with mods? Also, I heard that Rockstar will automatically update games. Is there any way to manually revert to an older game version to not break mods? Thank you for the help.

I'm having a problem with my EVGA Geforce GTX 960 2GB. GTA V starts, but when I load in the game, the screen goes black and my computer restarts. I'm having this problem with GTA V, the rest of the games I own run fine. I've tried a lot of things like, downloading older drivers, use lower settings, but nothing seems to work. I've tried everything I read on various sites like Reddit. I've never had any problems with my AMD RX550 2GB. I've bought this GPU secondhand so, I don't have any warranty. Specs: Dell Optiplex 9020 Processor: Intel Core i5 4590 GPU: EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 2GB PSU: Corsair VS450 RAM: 20GB DDR3 (changing the sticks doesn't have any effect) Storage: Kingston 240GB SSD, 320GB WD Green, 240GB Toshiba hard drive. OS: Windows 10 Pro, Newest update

I just recently switched my OS from Windows to Ubuntu, but I found out both Epic Games and Rockstar Games Launcher don't have a Linux client. While most games I bought are on Steam, my GTAV was in the Epic Games library, and I don't want to waste money to buy one more copy. I heard that some people did successfully use Epic Games on Linux, so please tell me how to. thx.

So I've been getting frame drops pretty constantly in both of rockstar's newest games on my high-end PC every 5-10 seconds, about a frame or 2 drops from 60 fps to 20-30. Specs: Windows 10 Home 64-bit Intel Core i9 @ 4.10GHz 16.0 GB 2133 DDR4 G.SKILL MSI MAG Z590 TORPEDO (MS-7D08) (U3E1) 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti (EVGA) 931GB Samsung SSD 870 EVO 1TB (SATA (SSD)) 232GB Samsung SSD 750 EVO 250GB (SATA (SSD)) 2794GB WL3000GSA6454 (SATA ) NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) The games are installed on the SSD 870 EVO 1TB What I've tried so far (NONE HAVE FIXED THE ISSUE) Capping my fps and/or capping my monitor's Hz Defragging all of my storage devices Scanning for malware and viruses Resetting the clock speeds on my CPU Turning on and off Vsync both in the NVIDIA control panel and in-game Lowering and turning up the settings in-game and in GeForce Resetting my virtual memory Going through task manager and eliminating tasks Clearing space on my SSD in order to eliminate bottlenecks Checking task manager to see if my ram, cpu, or gpu was capped out at 100% (none are) Switching from DX11 to DX10 Repairing corrupted windows files Reinstalling both games Disabling fullscreen optimization My GPU is not overclocked and never has been, this has been an issue when I had a gtx 1070 as well. When I play GTA 5 the ram usually caps out at around 8gb despite having 16gb of ram, that might be the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, here's a youtube video of my stutter

Specs: 1060-6gb 2600x 16gb ram running at 3000mhz Have both SSD and HDD My game was running perfectly fine up until maybe 2 days ago. I tried the usual restarting game/PC etc. But it was still getting terrible performance (less than 1fps). Sometimes after restarting the PC it would briefly run like usual 60-80 fps (medium-high settings). I then tried moving it from my SSD to my HDD, scan for install and also verify the files. I tried verifying the files on both drives (never had issues with either drive before) multiple times and trying windows drive repair. Nothing helped so I gave in and decide to uninstall and reinstall and straight away same issue. Haven't had this issue on any other game and when I alt tab out of GTA PC Is running fine as well as the fact that GTA was running fine just a few days ago. Seems to me like something is wrong with GTA but I'm not sure what. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated because I've just started getting back into the game. Update: I reinstalled the game and it was working fine for a but but then it went back to the problem 2nd Update: I've also discovered that when I alt tab into the game it will run smoothly for a short period of time and then go buggy again. If I alt tab out and in again it will keep going stable then unstable after a short period of time. Every now and then when I alt tab back in it will remain stable but not very often.

Hello fellow gamers, I have been playing some GTA V rp on FiveM for a bit. I was recommended to join a few servers but was told the servers require me to have what I guess is a mod menu. So the question is, is the Lambda menu safe to install? I'm a bit new to this stuff on FiveM so any help is appreciated.

My system specs are: Ryzen 2700x 1070ti 32gb of 3200mhz ddr4 RAM 1tb 7200rpm HDD In GTA especially online I will get Frame dips into the 40's and even high 30's in certain areas' of the map, Such as Vinewood Strip and The Los Santos Police Department by the River. In the Story I get around 110avg but has occasional Dips' too. My friend has A worse GPU and in the same Lobby's He get's significantly better performance in the same areas. If anyone Can Help that would be very appreciated. PS I run the Game on mostly ultra settings but when I turn down settings it has no effect of FPS.

I just installed RDR2 and I have HORRIBLE frame stutters and hitching. It's made the game unplayable. (I don't think it's hardware limitations. Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB RAM, RTX 2080Ti, NVME storage.) I saw a fix for it by changing some starting parameters by going into the R* launcher settings tab and going into the start settings and changing a line, but I cannot find it. Appreciate any tips!
