Budget (including currency): 30,000 MXN Country: Mexico Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Realistically, any game that can be played. I'm not super picky when it comes to playing every single game at an Ultra Preset, but I would like my games to perform well and at least look good. Mainly looking forward to finally Playing Cyberpunk on at least the high graphics preset running at more than 60 fps. It will also be used for graphic design programs, such as most of the Adobe Library (Premiere, Photshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, After Effects, etc.) Other details: Here's the PC Part Picker Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4MLkgB And in written form CPU: Intel Core i7-12700KF 3.6 GHz 12-Core Processor Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 50.5 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE AX ATX LGA1700 Motherboard RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive GPU: Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB Video Card Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Corsair RM750e (2023) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply I'm also thinking of getting 3 extra iCUE SP120 RGB Elite Performance fans just in case. I was also looking into buying the Gigabyte M27Q-SA monitor, since it's not terribly expensive and its a 27 inch, 1440p, 170hz monitor which is just what I'm looking for, but a 27 inch, 1440p, 120hz monitor would also be perfectly fine. If you have any recommendations for a monitor around those specs that would be greatly appreciated. Is this a build that makes sense? If possible, I would like to stick with Nvidia and Intel since that's what I primarily know, but I'm not entirely closed off to trying AMD CPU's. Also, I'm not sure if the 12700KF is ok with a normal air cooler or looking into an AIO would be recommended, since I was also looking at the i7 13700KF, and that CPU can get really hot if not given proper care and I'm not sure if the same applies to the 12700KF. Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Budget (including currency): $1800 CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: UE5, Blender, Adobe Suite, Fusion360… Other details: This computer will be used for 3d modelling and renders in UE5 as well as Blender and Fusion 360. Aside from that, maybe some games like Minecraft, Modern Warfare, Valorant, Fortnite… Doesn’t need to look pretty, I just want something that is gonna be future proof and last a few years without having to upgrade due to hardware limitations. Hopefully someone can recommend something. Thanks

Budget: $2200-2500 CAD (or less) Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: UE5, Blender, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator...) Other details: I don't have much in terms of understanding what parts are "good" vs "bad" but I think for my price point something like a 3060 12gb could be good, I don't know? In terms of CPU I'm thinking of Ryzen 7 3800x3d and that's about all I have so far. This computer will be used for ultra realistic renders and game dev in UE5 and Blender, as well as for graphic design programs like the Adobe Cloud programs. I'm not looking for something pretty, if it works and works great than im happy. I want something that is going to be future proof and last a few years, without having to change new parts due to hardware limitations... Hopefully someone can give me some pointers or build recommendations. Thanks

I just started a hybrid job as a User Experience Designer. I love gaming and will be using the same monitors that I game on as work monitors. I've looked into a lot of monitors and i keep coming back to the Gigabyte M27Q. The only downside I'm finding with it is the BGR subpixel layout. For those who use this monitor, are there any downsides to the BGR layout or any other downsides? Are any alternatives that are just as good with a RGB layout for a similar price? Im looking to get 2 new monitors, around $300 a monitor is my budget.

I was throwing together a new wallpaper for myself (hexagons are the best-agons) and noticed something about it looked kinda… WAN Show-y. So I decided to lean into it and changed the colors so it'd be even more so. What do you guys think? BTW, I learned that Windows 11 has a size limit on wallpapers. I kept trying to set my wallpaper with a 50MB 8k PNG and it kept just changing my background to "Solid colors." (I think it's a file size limit instead of a dimensional limit.) I also found out that Windows doesn't actually use PNG for backgrounds and it always converts them before applying them? I tried to find a forum topic regarding LTT fan wallpapers/graphic design and couldn't find it on initial cursory search. Did I miss it? wallpaperHex3_wanShow.blend

Hi All, My sister is looking for a laptop to use for work. She's a graphic designer who has recently been laid off and is trying to do some contract work, she mostly uses Adobe CS6 but will likely upgrade to newer software in the future (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator mostly I believe). Her budget is around $1000 CAD (obviously lower is preferred). Are there any good options available? Should we wait for black friday? Also, she's been in contact with a seller of off-lease/refurbished computers who suggested the following: $770 Dell PRECISION 7510, Intel i7 6820HQ, 2.7 GHZ, 16GB DDR4, 180GB SSD + 1TB HDD Storage, 15.6" UltraSharp™ FHD IPS (1920x1080) Wide View Anti-Glare LED-backlit AMD FirePro W5170M with 2GB GDDR5 dedicated memory 1 x SD Card Reader (SD, SDHC, SDXC, supporting up to 64GB); 1 x Thunderbolt® 3 (optional), 4 x USB3.0 with PowerShare; 1 x mDP; 1 x HDMI; 1 x Headphone and microphone combo jack Wired: Integrated Intel 82580 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Intel® 8260 Dual-Band 2x2 802.11 ac (Miracast) Bluetooth® 4.1, Dell DW1820 2x2 801.11ac + Bluetooth 4.1 Width: 14.88” / 378mm; Depth: 10.38”/ 261mm ;Height (front-Rear): Front 1.09”/27.76mm – 1.3”/(33mm) Starting at 2.79kg (6.16lb) I thought it was a bit pricey considering its a ~5 year old cpu (even if it is a workstation laptop).

I’m building a home workstation for my wife, who is a graphic designer/graphic artist. We are looking for a budget friendly, color accurate, 4K display. I have a plethora of knowledge in regards to gaming monitors, but I don’t pay much attention to the content creator space. Any recommendations in the $300-$400 range would be greatly appreciated. I realize I can't have it all for this price, but below are the most essential specs we need. The top priority specs are: COLOR ACCURACY: This is the most crucial spec to consider. The higher the coverage of the Adobe, sRGB, DCI-P, etc color spaces, the better. OUT OF THE BOX CALIBRATION: A hardware color calibrator is not in the budget. 4K RESOLUTION PREFERRED: However, I’d consider looking at 2K as well if it is compelling enough. 60 Hz is fine. The only gaming we expect to do here is some RTX Minecraft. IPS PANEL OR EQUIVALENT: Obviously color accuracy is key. Viewing angles are also important. 27” +/- is ideal. Adaptive sync tech and pixel response times aren’t as big of an issue. Don’t care much about HDR since nothing in this price range will have more than like 300 nits peak brightness anyway. Recommendations are greatly appreciated, thanks.

Budget (including currency): Around $2000-$3000 Country: U.S. Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: General daily use, video editing/effects (1080 or 4k), graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), small-scale 3D work and light gaming on occasion Hello! I am currently searching for parts to build a PC for myself after years of slow hand-me-downs and loud-fanned laptops. I do graphic design and have been interested in making graphics-heavy video content as well, so I've been researching and workshopping a build for a few weeks after learning at least a decent amount on how the process works, what parts I'd need for my goals, and what combination might make the best finished product. Given that I am completely new to the scene I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions so I know if I am getting it right, or spending far too much: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/J8y2bK The only thing I haven't yet taken into account are separate case fans and I don't really care about RGB or any visual modifications, just performance. As for keyboard and mouse, I am planning on using my old inexpensive ones I have on hand for now. Hopefully things all turn out well, thanks for your help!

Hello I really need help finalizing my build for content creation, coding. So far I have two versions, but both of them are missing the GPU as I have no clue which one to choose and which one would fit my needs and budget the best. Should I choose Ryzen 7 3700X or Ryzen 5 5600X? Should I go with 3200 CL16 or 3600 CL16 for RAM? For PSU, is 550W going to be enough or should I go for 650W? I also need help finding a good monitor. My budget for the whole project is 1700-1800€, but for the build with the monitor is around 1200€ as I still have to buy a pen display - Huion Kamvas which will be around 250€ + peripherals. Hi I intend to purchase a laptop in a month or so. My Budget is around 60-80 thousand Indian Rupees. I usually game AAA titles now and then but not fulltime. Im looking for a laptop that has good colour accuracy, and good graphic card and can handle tasks like blender, Photoshop , illustrator maybe a little video editing , maya , auto cad alongside multi tasking.Id prefer a laptop that has good battery life and looking to use it for a long run. Id appreciate your suggestions. I was personally looking for a budget lap earlier but i have been told I'd atleast be needing a an i7 - 8 gen or an i9 - 8 gen.Seems a little too steep. I'm open to the AMD side for the CPU bit if it happens to be more budget friendly and is able to deliver in an around those expectations. But if you guys happen to have experience doing the same. Doo let me know what you'd suggest. Im on a tight budget honestly if i could spend lesser id rather doo that. Thanks in advance!

Hello all I am a graphic designer and I am currently looking for a 100 rgb monitor I have looked at benq models but there's just so many choices that I have no idea what I should buy. I have 400 to spend but would rather stay somewhere in between Dont need a touchscreen but I would like it to have all the fancy rotation options. can anyone suggest me some good monitors that they have experience with ?

Hi i'm a first time desktop builder although have worked on a lot of pc's before. My main question was to see if anyone else had some ideas on anything else I may need and also give some feedback on my parts list. My current budge is about $2500 US dollars and am willing to spend more if something I find i really want. I already have a keyboard and mouse and only need monitors for my peripherals. Here is my parts list on part picker... https://pcpartpicker.com/user/WiseBiscuit04/saved/#view=C4R999 ...one of my concerns is the motherboard I am looking at does anyone know if this is a good mother board or not? I want a green and black look for my rig. Does anyone else know of a good black and green mother board from a better brand maybe? I plan on having 2 monitors one 4k one to play games on and I was hoping to get another one that can be lower resolution but also touch screen because i just want it to have a video playing along with my game and stuff like that. I am having trouble finding one in the the >$300 range any suggestions would be nice. Thank you for any help in advance!

I'm looking to buy an ultrawide in the coming weeks, I'm a graphic designer who games a lot on the side. I'm considering the x34 or xr34 but I'm struggling to decide. Have you guys had any experience with the xr34 and does it feel lackluster without the G-SYNC module when it comes to gaming? Does fast-sycn help? Any information on this topic would be greatful as I'm looking to buy soon, I'm also happy to take a look at any alternative monitors that you guys think will suit me better. Cheers.
-
I'm a Graphic designer who often games, the gamer in me really wants to grab an Ultrawide (possibly an X34). Does anyone know if the curvature of an ultrawide monitor has any distortion? As I am often producing precise and intricate vector logo designs. Also if someone could maybe point me towards some different options, the X34 is an expensive option but it would be perfect as gaming is something I plan to do a lot of with this monitor.

So I want your advice on my next device A surface product with the horrible windows (I'm afraid) or Going to be on the apple side with a MacBook Pro? (It's stable my friends says) And I'm concerned about the consumer reports as well for the surface product. Budget $2000 max Goal: light powerful laptop, with good build quality. Suit a student and graphic designer that works 27/789 days a week. I'm all ears ,, and thanks. - Aorex.

I am a graphic designer and I use Adobe CC for all my work. I need a computer that will be dedicated to the Adobe software for editing and motion graphics. This is the part list my research has brought me to and my budget was around $2000. This is my first build, so I'm a little unsure if I'm missing anything or overlooking some issues this part list may bring. What do you think? Would you change anything? Hey all, My girlfriend has recently gotten into the profession of graphic design and I would like to build her a computer and get her a nice new monitor to help her along. I have a good enough knowledge to build her a PC that can handle doing this kind of work but when it comes to a proper monitor I start to get lost as my PC's are usually used for gaming... which is more important sRGB, Adobe RGB, any other features I should be looking at? should it be 4K or is 1440p even acceptable? Any photo/video editors or designers on here with experience that could provide some insight on this would be much appreciated. I would like to stay around $600-1000.00 tax included for the monitor unless something above that would vastly enhance her work but seeing as she is just getting into it I don't see a purpose yet blowing 2000.00$+ on some insane monitor. Ideally she would like to have a 27-32" screen, I am not apposed to an ultra wide setup as long as it meets the requirements of an editor. Apart from her work she will be using the monitor for some gaming and every day use so I would like it to have a 60hz refresh rate and any freesync / gsync would be a massive bonus but not needed by any means. Any help or suggestions much appreciated. Thanks for your time. TZ

He guys, Wanting to make a watermark that just uses "Outer Glow" or "drop Shadow" as seen in the pic in adobe Illustrator. I can use a work around for a solid fill colour to match the background but, if I have no fill/stroke (which is what I want for a image watermark) its a no go and the the entire object wont display. Does anyone know a work around? Prefer to stick with vector art (illustrator) but open to Photoshop suggestions too.
